The inspiration for BADLAND BRIDE came from a natural disaster that happened right in my own home town of Massachusetts. When you think of tornadoes, Massachusetts isn’t one of the states that comes to mind. But two years ago we were hit with an F3 tornado that ripped through town. Lots of people I know had homes that were damaged or destroyed. It was devastating to drive through town and see all the damage. But the beauty of what came out of it was the incredible humanity of neighbor helping neighbor, and people from all over the country coming in to help us. I’ve tried to emulate that same sense of community in my DAKOTA HEARTS series.
Next up is DAKOTA HEAT with Sam McKinnon, the sexy Hotshot firefighter who is coming home to help his community during what will prove to be a tough fire season for Rudolph. Where BADLAND BRIDE was a novella, DAKOTA HEAT will be a full-length novel featuring a little bit of suspense. Then later in the month I will be releasing WILD DAKOTA HEART. You’ve met former Navy Seal turned cop, Ethan McKinnon, Logan’s twin, in HER DAKOTA MAN and BADLAND BRIDE. Last, readers will be getting a surprise in HIS DAKOTA BRIDE, when a long lost McKinnon surprises everyone and comes home. Look for HIS DAKOTA BRIDE in March 2014.
