His Choice, Her Decision

Page 22

by Williams, D. C.

  "Umm Aiden, not too hard."

Looking into her eyes, "this milk does taste good, now I know why Jaxson takes so long to nurse."

Frowning at me, "ugh, that didn't sound right."

Laughing at her expression, "I guess you’re right, that did sound a little perverted, huh?"

Laughing back, "yes it did!" Pulling my head back down to her breast, "now get back to work, we don't have that much time."

After a few more slow sucks, we completely remove our clothes. Climbing back on top, I invade her mouth with my tongue while invading her body in one powerful thrust. Hearing her moan, we begin to move together. Feeling her vaginal muscles constricting around my penis, pulling up on my forearms, I begin to pound into her. With each thrust, I feel my hurt and anger from the recent photos. I also feel her hurt and anger from my past indiscretions but most of all, I feel the overwhelming weight of love that I have for this woman. The mother of my children which is unconditional. No matter what, she's my choice.

"Aiden." I hear her say, "slow down, you’re being rough."

Slowing down, I'm looking into her eyes, with my penis still imbedded deep inside of her vagina, "Sharon, I’ve told you before that I’m sorry for all that I’ve done in the past. Do you forgive me?

With tears streaming down the sound of her face, "I forgave you a long time ago."

“Then when you make a mistake, you’ve got to stop bringing up the past. I can’t change what happened then. All I can do is continue to love you and work on our present and our future.”

  “I know Aiden. You’re right.”

With tears in my eyes, “I love you, Sharon.”

  Smiling, “I love you too.”

Picking up the pace again, we're moving stroke for stroke. Grabbing her left hand, I capture her ring finger that still has my ring in place. Closing her eyes, her release is evident on her face. Watching her triggers my own release. "Marry me soon baby, please."

Nodding her head, "yes Aiden, I'll marry you soon."

  Looking into her eyes, "really?"

Smiling at me, "yes, I've made my decision."

  Epilogue

  1 year later...

Ronnie and I are headed to his parent’s house for the 4th of July celebration. Funny thing is, for us, it's not much of a celebration. After Sharon and Aiden's wedding nine months ago, we decided to try marriage counseling for a second time which was his idea. I'm still trying to figure out how our marriage could have been restored with him still continuing to cheat. Needless to say, I met with my attorney on yesterday to file for the divorce that I should have filed for when we returned from the Bahamas last year. This is definitely not something that I want to keep putting myself through.

"Michelle, we're almost there, please at least act like you're happy for my parent's sake, okay."

Continuing to stare out of the window, I'm only attending this little get together so that I can see Rhonda and Sharon. We've gotten really close over the past year and they have each promised that no matter what happens between me and Ronnie, they will always consider me to be a member of their family. "What do you expect for me to do, go in there and tell everyone that my husband, even after counseling, is a no good, lying ass cheat?"

Rubbing the back of his head, he glances in my direction, "look Michelle, I'm sorry. I really messed up but I promise you..."

Holding my hand up, "save it, I don't even care anymore. Just get us there so that we can get this over with."

Releasing a heavy sigh, he says, "I really appreciate you for agreeing to come. I don't want to have to explain our divorce to my parent's yet, my mom will be devastated that I've ruined my marriage."

Still looking out the window of the car, "just remember, I'm not doing this for you." He's more concerned about his mom than he is about me. It's always been like that. Often, I think that falling for him was a big mistake. Yeah, he was the most positive thing in my life at the time and I didn't want to lose him. Getting pregnant wasn't the best solution but learning that the man who I put on such a high pedestal is no different from any other, really hurts.

Pulling up in front of the Wen's house, Sharon and Aiden have also just arrived and are getting the babies out of their SUV. Aiden is carrying Maddison, a real daddy's girl, while Jaxson is holding Sharon's hand as she's walking in our direction. "Hey Michelle, I was wondering if you'd made it here already." Giving each other a hug, I hear Ronnie mumbling something as he's getting out of the car.

"So sis, you don't see me standing here?"

Rolling her eyes at him, "yeah, I see you. Anyways Michelle, I'm glad you decided to come."

I shared with Sharon on yesterday that I met with my attorney. Although she didn't say much on the matter, she told me that I had to do what makes me happy.

"Hey guys.” Aiden says as he's waiting for Sharon to join him, “seems we're all here." Apparently, Sharon is mad at him because she just walks right past him. Smirking at me, he shrugs his shoulders and kisses Maddison on her cheek. Those two are always arguing about something - it's too comical.

"Mom, dad, we're here," Sharon yells as we all enter the foyer area headed into the family room. Dad is the first one to greet us. Picking up Jaxson, he gives Sharon and then me a hug. Leaning over to kiss Maddison, she turns her head in the opposite direction while laying it down on her daddy's shoulder.

"You know how she is daddy, she'll come around when she wants something." Sharon says laughing at her daughter.

"Yeah I know, Aiden has her spoiled rotten," Mr. Wen says, "at least Jaxson loves his granddad."

Aiden frowning, "she's not spoiled, she's just well loved."

Following dad into the family room, mom takes Maddison from Aiden and showers her with kisses. She's resistant at first but eventually, she gives in with belly giggles. Rhonda, Michael and their three children along with Camille and SJ are sitting in front of the flat screen television watching Sean and Sebastian battle against each other in a game of Madden. Sitting down next to Camille, I realize one thing, I love this family, but I love me more!
