Ruin (Kings of Carnage MC - Prospects Book 1)
Page 10
The second Chaos and Bash pull up, they’re both in my face wanting to know what the fuck I’ve done. Once I explain, they both take a deep breath and send me home to watch over Tyra. My father warns me about messing around with Poe’s daughter, but it’s a little too late for all of that. Just wait till they hear about the rest of it.
I decide to get out of there as soon as I can. I know they’ll be planning and scheming our next move, so tonight I’m thankful as fuck that I’m not in the kind of position to have to make those decisions because I just want to fucking sleep.
I crawl into her tiny car and feel like an oversized fucking clown before I think about the chance that these guys possibly have a tracker on her car to be able to find her. I maneuver myself back out and start using the light from my phone to look under the car, searching for something that looks off. There’s a box above the passenger rear tire that’s out of place, so I walk back to Chaos and give him the information.
He hands me his keys, saying he’ll get a ride from Bash and relief washes over me that I can get home to Tyra. I know she’s a nervous wreck after everything that just happened and I’m sure my house isn’t exactly comfortable to her yet.
The stress of today’s events begins to weigh heavy on my mind about halfway home. I’m not sure what the consequences of killing two of the Road Hawgs will be since the Kings have a truce with their club, but I’m sure I’m going to find out. I’ve got the blood of five men on my hands… I’m just going to go ahead and call that last one because he was going to die tonight one way or the other. He just made it a faster process with his shitty driving.
I let my mind flash through all of the tough times of today but come to the realization that it all had to be done. I knew the club was worth it when I sniped the first three before they had a chance to move. Tyra is worth any consequences that come with the last two, no doubt about it. Just knowing that I’m headed to her makes it all seem so much better and that right there has never happened. It’s always been me wanting to call one of the guys when I had a crap day.
Chapter Fourteen
Tyra
I’ve finally managed to calm myself by the time he gets there, even though the sound of the garage door startles me until I see that it’s him. I slip out of his truck, feeling like I can finally safely exit and go straight to him. He pulls me up into my new favorite position and carries me through the house while I’ve got my arms and legs wrapped around him. He made sure to set the security system on the way by.
“I was so scared.” The flashbacks of horrors from my past were front and center the entire drive to his house. Just knowing they made a deliberate effort to find me is unsettling and it makes it hard to feel like I’m actually safe. How did they know the exact room I was in?
“I won’t let anyone hurt you.” I know he means well but I’m not used to having someone on my side, defending me. I had slipped into being comfortable in his arms for a few hours and it was almost a tragic mistake. “By the way, your car is gone.”
I sit up quickly with the news. “What? Why?”
“Because we found a tracker on it.” That would be how they’d know where to find me. That doesn’t get the guy into my room, but I can imagine it wouldn’t be hard for guys like them to pay off someone for the information. It’s crazy to think that someone would want to get to me that bad.
“You can stay here until we know everything is safe again.” I’m not sure if he’s saying this out of some sort of obligation he thinks he should have, or if he’s truly wants me here because he’s worried about my ongoing safety. My brain hurts from all the thinking tonight.
My body aches from exhaustion and I crave a beat down from that amazing shower of his. It’s really the only thing I think I could handle right now. “Can we talk about all of this tomorrow? I just want to shower and sleep tonight.”
“I couldn’t have said it better myself.” He agrees with me out loud even though he’d already walked us both into the bathroom. We both strip our clothes off and I’m way past shy with this guy, so I lead the way into the shower.
He goes right for the spot in the shower where most of the water intersects; it must be where he normally stands. He turns all the showerheads on, and I quickly realize the first time I took a shower here was just nice. Having him to rub the soap on me is on another level of amazing and it marks a first for me. I’ve never showered with a guy before.
Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, he reaches to the side of one of the faucets and the pressure increases from all directions. It’s when he leans his forearm against the wall and bows his head that I decide to be bold and adventurous.
His soap smells good in my palm, but it smells even better on his back… his shoulders… his arms. I can’t reach all the way up his chest until I press my boobs against his back. He doesn’t seem to mind and even lets me explore without any assistance.
“I love your hands on me.” His moan encourages me to be even more daring, so I move lower, slowly allowing my fingers to brush every ripple of muscle along the way. He remains frozen in place, looking down and watching my hands caress his body.
I can feel his cock twitching against the side of my hand when I get close, so I wrap my hand around it, sending him thrusting forward just slightly. He closes his eyes for a deep inhale, taking in my touch and leaving me wanting to please him in every way.
“I thought we were going to sleep.” I love that he’s not the one instigating sex and that he would’ve been just fine showering and going to bed.
“We will after. This is that shower I wanted.” I slide around to face him, and he keeps his position with his forearm over my head. Using two hands, I wrap my fingers around his cock again and start working them up and down while he grows so much that I can feel some of the veins along it. I allow my fingers to trace his piercings a few times before I push back against his thrust and meet him for a kiss.
Maybe it’s because he hasn’t taken over control yet, but I find myself wanting to go to my knees for him… only focus on his pleasure. Seeing him come undone is the one thing I’m craving and would completely satisfy me.
“Your hands feel amazing.” He lifts his arm to move a few of the showerheads, diverting some of the water from running over his back while I lower to my knees and take him in my mouth. “Ah, fuck. But your mouth might kill me.”
His dirty talk is one of my favorite things about him. It’s empowering to hear what he’s thinking, and it does wonders for my confidence the way he says it. I take him to the back of my throat, and he holds me in place. “Baby, look at me… Ahhh, yesss.” His eyes darken as he watches me. Baby.
Staring at him straight in the eyes like this strips me bare of any reservations or boundaries I had in place. Bare of any past experiences… and any potential future ones too. In this moment it’s only me and him in the world. Nothing else matters.
I pull back and twist my hands up and down a few times before I take him back in my mouth, this time to run my tongue over his piercings. He starts thrusting forward and I can tell he’s about to go. “Ah, fuck. Come here.” He reaches to lift me, but I grab onto his hips and suck him off with a relentless energy, knowing I have him exactly where I want him. He moans and groans his way through an orgasm, and it makes me so damn horny to hear that all of that is happening because of me. As a nod to the porn clips that taught me all of this, I even swallow every last drop of his cum before I kiss the tip of his dick and then I smile.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.” He reaches down and grips my neck, pulling me up with perfect control and then he kisses me like he’s never kissed me before. Desperate and chaotic then quickly slowing to soft and sensual, all the while keeping the tension on my throat. “You suck cock like a porn star.”
“I should be offended by that.” But I’m not.
“No… you shouldn’t.” He starts kissing down my body, nipping and biting the entire time he’s dropping to his knees. “I eat pussy li
ke a porn star.” This I already know. But he drives home the point even further by slipping my legs over his shoulders and sliding me up the wall while he’s working me with his tongue. He grips my ass with both hands, pulling me in towards his mouth and with my palms flat against the shower wall, I come all over his face.
I’m still falling from the high when he lowers me onto his cock and starts thrusting until we’re going again. He’s insatiable… but apparently so am I.
We’re both breathing heavy when he rests his forehead on mine and whispers, “I’m gonna fuck you so many ways”.
That little promise makes me happy, and I almost forget that this is all too good to be true. The chemistry we have when we’re alone like this can’t override the craziness in both of our lives. There has to be some stability at some point in my life.
The sun has lit up the room by the time we slip under the covers. I don’t know if my head hit the pillow before my eyes are closed and I’m passed the fuck out in his arms.
The sound of Ruin’s phone wakes us both up. He answers it and I squint to look at the time with only one eye. It’s noon.
“Yeah. I’m here.” I roll over and curl up with the blankets while he bolts out of bed. His sexy, naked ass awakens my attention, but not near as much as the sound of my father’s voice coming down the hall.
“So am I. We need to talk.” I can hear his voice clearly, which makes me sit up quick and grip the blanket across my chest.
“Okay. Give me a few seconds and I’ll be out.” Ruin goes straight for the hallway, bypassing any clothes before he leaves the room.
“What the fuck, Ruin. Put on some damn clothes. You’re just like your fucking dad.”
“Ah, Poe. You know you love me. Besides, this is my house and I like to walk around naked.” Their voices get farther away, so I jump out of bed and find my clothes from last night in the bathroom.
I get dressed almost as fast as I did in the hotel room when we were trying to run but this time I put a little effort into making sure my hair looks halfway decent. Walking out to see my father is going to be bad enough without having freshly fucked looking hair to make it worse. Going to bed with wet hair makes it hard to calm the waves, so I decide to wet it again for a quick fix.
I’m walking into the kitchen when I hear them and smell coffee all at once. I head straight to the coffee pot and purposely ignore the look on Poe’s face when I enter the room. He’s not happy. I do take in Ruin’s raised eyebrows, no doubt surprised that I chose to join them over staying out of sight in hopes of not facing Poe knowing the truth about Ruin and me.
Poe is sitting at the bar and Ruin is still naked standing on the other side of it. Ruin leans in to give me a quick peck on the lips when I pass by and just like that, I start wishing I had just stayed in bed. I’m not sure this falls under the category of discreet that I was hoping for, but it is what it is. I guess we may as well just face it all now that it’s blatantly in the room with us.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” It took Poe a few seconds to form the words, but his death glare was instant.
“Good morning, Father. Would you like some coffee?” I choose to speak up first and shut down any insanity before it begins.
Poe shakes his head. “No fucking way did you shack up with my daughter. No way did you shack up with him.”
“First of all, I don’t even know what shacking is. And you don’t get to say anything about who I’m with. You don’t know me enough to know who is good for me.” I take a sip of coffee before I continue. “It’s not anything you have to worry about. I know what I’m doing.”
“Do you?”
“I’m gonna go get some clothes on.” Ruin chooses right now to be decent and even though part of me wants to choke him for leaving me here alone to deal with Poe, it’s really what’s best.
“Yes, I do. I know what kind of guy he is and I’m not saying it’s a forever thing by any means. He seems like he has a good heart and for now it’s just happening. Who knows what tomorrow brings.”
He doesn’t say anything, leaving the room awkward as hell. “Plus, he kept me safe last night, so I’m really glad he was there.” I turn to open the refrigerator, opting to busy myself and find food at the same time.
“You deserve better than any of the guys around here.”
Although it’s nice having someone say that, “I’m not some perfect princess who has no flaws. I’m a fucking mess. And… like I said, it’s just what’s happening right now. There’s not any long-term plans being made.”
“You know you have to stay quiet about anything you saw last night.”
“I know. I promise I won’t say a word.” A few more minutes go by in silence while I eat a bowl of cereal and he makes himself a cup of coffee.
“Ruin and I will be making a trip today. I want you to stay at Chaos’ house while we’re gone. Leigh is Ruin’s sister. She’s going to spend the day with you.” I don’t argue. His tone pretty much discourages any objections. “I’ll get you another car when I get back.” I give him a simple nod just before Ruin walks back into the room.
So, this is what it’s like having a father. Someone who bosses you around… tells you where to go and who you should or shouldn’t see… then buys you a car.
I have mixed feelings about all of this.
Chapter Fifteen
Ruin
“Were you going to tell me you were fucking my daughter? —" The first words Poe says on our trip. But to be fair, I knew they were coming.
“I wasn’t going to put it quite like that. If it helps any, I didn’t know who she was when we first got together.” He sits back and drops his sunglasses back over his eyes while we move on down the road. I can see why he made me drive this time. He wanted to over-analyze shit and sulk about the fact that he had no idea he had another daughter all of these years. “And I do like her. She’s actually fuckin’ amazing.” He cocks an eyebrow at me and frowns. I think he knows he doesn’t really have a say in us seeing each other.
“Does Elaina know about Tyra yet?”
“I haven’t had the chance to tell her.” I’m not sure how she’ll take this kind of news. If he was shocked over it, I can’t imagine how she’ll feel.
“Is it going to cause problems?”
“It shouldn’t. It happened before we got together.” Not wanting to know or hear anymore, I turn up the music and hope like hell he gets over his shitty mood before we get there, because we’re going to need to be on the same page.
We’re on the road for six hours before we reach our destination. It looks like we’re just in time for the big gathering at the Road Hawgs clubhouse. I wish we had been able to get here before they all showed up, but it took time to organize all of the guys for the run. We’d normally drive the bikes, but Poe wanted to get up my ass on the drive about everything that’s happened. He made sure it was just the two of us in this truck while all the others are full.
“Keep driving.” Poe sits up in his seat once he takes in the crowded scene. This is where his age and wisdom trump my inexperienced, short-fused thinking. I would’ve pulled the fuck into the parking lot and busted through the damn door, guns blazing. And a few of us would’ve likely died for that idiot rage.
“There’s a bar out west of town. We’re going there.” I’m sure he has a plan that will get us to the end goal. But taking this many Kings to a bar before we’re supposed to be meeting up with another club doesn’t seem like it’s as brilliant as some of his plans in the past.
We pull into the parking lot and I purposely park out a ways so we’re not blocked by any other vehicles. Always keep your getaway options open.
The convoy pulls in around me and I’m guessing we’ve quickly made our arrival very apparent with the roaring rumbles and the view of this many bikers getting out of trucks in a town they don’t belong in.
“Go in loaded and ready. Limit yourselves to two drinks each and keep your eyes peeled for the Road Hawgs, because they will be here soon.
” Chaos starts barking orders and there’s no doubt everyone is listening, even though we’re all already carrying.
Poe and Chaos lead us through the doors and I stay close, knowing they’ll both go right for the answer to our problem the second it walks through the door. One of the bartenders picks up the phone shortly after we enter, falling right into our plan.
I opt for a double Jack and Coke and sit in the middle of the room with Poe, both of us watching different directions while we wait. The bar is filled with Kings, intentionally spread throughout. Chaos and Spade sit down to join Poe and me just before the air shifts and the signal is given that the Road Hawgs have arrived.
“This is your deal. We’ll follow your lead.” Chaos lays out the reality of the situation to me for the first time and I’m intimidated all to fucking hell. His decision to throw me to the wolves and lead the conversation tonight shows he has some confidence in me that I’m not sure I deserve.
About ten guys enter, all of them walking like they own the place. I meet the middle guy face to face once he’s made it about halfway to where we were sitting. I can feel the Kings that follow me before they take their places next to me, a line of Kings now matching the wall of men staring at us.
“We have a little problem.” I recognize Ryder as their president, so I address him when I speak.
“It’s nice to see that we’re on the same page.”
“We’re here to talk. I trust your respect for our truce will allow you to do that.” More Road Hawgs enter the bar, but I have no idea how many. Keeping eye contact is my primary concern.
“Your daddy have you doing all the grunt work nowadays?”
“Yeah. Something like that.” His insult doesn’t hit me nearly as hard as he’d hoped it would, but I have to give him credit because when I step back to allow him through, he follows. The rest of the guys step back and disperse again, no doubt keeping the perfect position so that they have a one up on the Road Hawgs.
