Dangerous Love

She padded away as the shower started running and walked into her room. She picked out a pair of old pajamas she never wore for the young human before changing into her own usual black silk pajamas. She left her hair down, preferring to sleep that way instead of with it up. Her footsteps were as silent as a cat’s as she left the pajamas in the spare guest room and made her way down the hall into the kitchen. She grabbed the cup she used earlier and opened the hidden freezer that was located behind one of the cupboards.
Vayna sighed in mild annoyance once she realized that she would have to open a fresh bag of blood. Leaving it on the counter, she fished out a pair of scissors from the drawer and cut the tube coming from it. She set the scissors down back in the drawer and was just about to pour it into the cup when her ears picked up on a barely audible gasp from behind her. Freezing for a moment, she turned her head and caught sight of Sage in the doorway to the kitchen, her eyes wide and staring at the bag in her hand. Vayna repeated every curse word in every language she knew silently in her head as neither woman moved. She shocked that she had been too caught up in her thoughts to not register the sound of the human’s footsteps. After a few moments, Sage lifted her hand and pointed as she asked, “Is that…?”
Vayna turned to face her completely, the blood bag dangling between two fingertips. She took slow steps toward the young human as she held it out toward her so she could see it more clearly. There was no use hiding what she was holding. The young human already guessed what was in it. The ancient vampire internally winced as Sage took a step back away from her, but kept her face a blank mask as she said, “Blood?”
“Y-Y-Yeah…” Sage murmured as she looked back and forth from the bag of blood to the woman’s face. She was scared and confused. Why did Vayna have a bag of blood in her hand? Why did she need the blood? Was it fake blood, or real? It certainly looked real to her. It even had an official blood bank symbol on the bag. She swallowed harshly before whispering, “Why…”
“Do I have a bag of blood?” Vayna finished for her. She didn’t say anything else for a moment, merely looking at the human. She could smell the fear pulsating off of Sage and it was taking every bit of control she had to ignore the vampire instincts in her that were telling her to drop the bag and chase after the sweet young blood in the human woman in front of her. A rueful smile appeared on her lips, and with it she revealed the secret of what she was. Her fangs had elongated from hearing the fast heartbeat of the human and the smell of the blood that was thick in the air. It was a natural reaction she couldn’t help, but it helped get the point across.
“You really are a… a vampire…?” Sage asked her voice shaky, her eyes incredulous. It couldn’t be… vampires didn’t exist. They were just something out of fairy tales. There’s no way that Vayna could be a vampire… but she watched as the other woman’s eyes turned crimson, and her skin slowly fade to a deathly pale, she knew. It was true. No matter how much her mind tried to argue that vampires didn’t exist, she couldn’t deny the evidence right in front of her.
Vayna was a vampire.
She took a step back out of fear and nearly froze to death when a low growl came from the vampire. Vayna couldn’t control her instincts when Sage took a step back. The smell of fear and blood in the air was getting to her and she was slowly losing grip on her control. Her inner demon was fighting to get out of the cage she had it in, and it was making her head spin. Carefully setting the bag onto the counter so it wouldn’t spill, she slowly walked towards Sage as she said forcefully, “Do not move.”
Sage barely breathed as the vampire moved toward her with a deadly grace. She was terrified and wanted to run, but she fought against everything inside her as she stood very still, her hands clasped against her chest as she watched Vayna move closer. Her eyes were wide with fear and a slight fascination that she couldn’t help but feel. Vampires were supposed to be a creature of the imagination… and yet, here was a living, breathing one right in front of her. One that was circling around her like a predator would its prey.
Vayna moved behind the frightened human and lightly rested her hand on the other’s hip. She could feel, smell, and see the fear rolling of the young woman. Her inner vampire delighted at the fear and wanted so very badly to drink from her, but Vayna kept that part under as tight of a leash as she possibly could. As much as she wanted to taste Sage’s blood, she refused to do so with her being frightened like she was. Instead, she softly brushed the human’s hair to the side and nuzzled the skin of her neck. She heard Sage’s heartbeat pick up, and took a deep breath. Her eyes dilated when she smelled the fresh wave of fear roll off of her… fear that was mixed with lust. A soft growl echoed from her lips and she kissed the skin behind Sage’s ear. For as scared as she was, Sage still felt arousal around her. It was enough to drive Vayna’s own undead body into overdrive.
Her hands gripped Sage’s hips as she began to layer kiss upon kiss upon the creamy warm skin under her lips. Her tongue darted out and licked a small path down the other’s shoulder, and she groaned. Sage tasted as sweet as she thought she would. On a strange impulse, she very lightly scraped her teeth over the junction of Sage’s neck and shoulder. She was surprised by the soft moan that escaped the human and with a quiet snarl, she pulled her fully back against her own body, delighting in the way Sage seemed to melt into her. She was startled for a moment when the young human moved her hand upwards toward her face. Her inner vampire thought Sage intended to stop her and wanted to grab her hand to prevent that, but Vayna didn’t move. The urge to see what the human would do came over her and she merely watched her hand move closer to her head. She was surprised once again when Sage merely threaded her hand into her hair and pulled her closer to her neck.
She couldn’t explain it. One moment she was afraid of Vayna, and the next she wanted nothing more than for her to bite down and drink her blood. She was becoming so aroused from the attention her neck was receiving, and she felt a little embarrassed because of that. She didn’t want her to stop, it felt that good. It was all she could do to not beg Vayna to take her, make love to her right then and there, and drink her blood. She vaguely wondered how good it would feel. The moan that left her lips when Vayna scraped her sharp fangs lightly over her skin surprised even her and she felt herself blush. How was this even possible?! She wanted this vampire woman so much when she should’ve been running the other way! She certainly should not want to bed Vayna!
Said vampire was having a hard time controlling her own arousal and need the longer they stood there. Smelling the lust that was coming off of the human in waves made her own grow and she fought against the desire to take her. She just met Sage! She shouldn’t want to take her back to her bed, make love to her and drink her blood! Her mind was becoming cloudy with lust and she abruptly let go of Sage. Moving around her, she didn’t even look at the human as she grabbed the blood bag and gripped the counter with her other hand. Her vampiric side snarled at her, demanding she go back to Sage and take what she so desperately wanted! It wanted the young human’s blood, body, and soul, and Vayna was having a hard time coming up with a reason why she shouldn’t listen to it. She fought against every instinct she honed over the millenniums she was alive and she clutched the bag so hard in her hand that some of it spilled down the sink. She watched the crimson liquid flow down the drain slowly as she made up her mind. Her voice was husky with desire and hunger as she said, “Walk slowly to your room, do not run or I will chase you and I can’t guarantee the consequences. Do not come out until I come to get you, understand?”
Sage was about to tell her to drink from her when she felt Vayna move away from her so suddenly that she gasped. Where the vampire was just pressed up against her was suddenly cold and she wanted nothing more than to beg her to hold her again. It was crazy, and she was completely out of her mind, but she would’ve given anything at that moment to be back in the vampire’s arms. She didn’t move as Vayna brushed passed her into the kitchen. She watched as she grabbed the blood bag
and stood at the counter. Briefly she wondered what she did wrong to make the ancient vampire move away from her. She felt a soft disappointment fill her at those words and she nodded slowly as she replied, “I understand.”
Chapter 2
With that, she turned and slowly made her way out of the room and down the hallway. She was shaking when she stepped into her room and closed the door. She collapsed onto the edge of the bed, a pile of nerves as she pressed a hand to her neck. She could still feel Vayna’s teeth on her neck and she blushed heavily. Without even realizing what she was doing, her hand slid between her legs and began to rub her already slick folds. She was practically mauled by the gorgeous female vampire in the kitchen, and all she could do was want more!
Vayna was having troubles controlling herself out in the kitchen. She could hear what Sage was doing, could smell the lust practically pouring out from her room and it was driving her crazy! Her own body thrummed with desire and she was fighting a losing battle against it. She knew she wasn’t going to win. There was no way she could stay in the apartment with Sage and not take her. The logical choice was to leave the apartment for a while, but… as another wave of lust filled her nose, she growled and gulped down what little blood was left from the liquid she poured into her cup seconds ago. Turning on her heel, she quickly made her way through the apartment to Sage’s room. Her inner demon practically cooed in delight at the realization that she was no longer fighting against her instincts.
Without hesitating, she opened the door and stepped inside. The sight that greeted her made her breath catch in her throat. Sage was sprawled out on the guest bed, her pajama pants off as her legs were spread, a finger already inserted deep inside of her. Vayna growled again when she saw that the pajama top was unbuttoned and the young human’s breasts were just barely visible, Sage’s other hand squeezing one of them.
Sage didn’t hear the door open, but she did hear when Vayna growled. Her eyes flew open and she froze, her gaze locked onto a pair of lust filled crimson eyes. She wanted to close her legs out of embarrassment, but she didn’t dare move, her body frozen in the position she was in. Her breath quickened as Vayna moved toward the bed and kneeled between her open thighs. Desire flowed freely through her when the vampire gazed directly at her inner most secret part and caused her to whimper. The sound caused Vayna to glance up into her eyes and she saw clearly the amount of desire the gorgeous creature was feeling. Another soft whimper left her when the ancient vampire spoke one word, “Continue.”
She gave no resistance when Vayna’s gaze fell back down onto her center and she slowly moved her finger in and out. She didn’t need to know her past to know that in that moment, she enjoyed being watched by such a dangerous creature. On a level she didn’t understand, something was awoken by the knowledge of how deadly Vayna really was. Something that was deeply pleased at having captured the attention of a being so ruthless. She shuddered softly when she felt Vayna’s lips on her thigh, kissing her skin. She became wetter from the close contact and moaned softly in response to Vayna’s snarl. It was such a forbidden act…
She wanted more.
Vayna became tired of simply watching. She wanted to touch and taste the young human that was so deliciously spread out before her. Standing up, she roughly pulled Sage up off of the bed and grabbed the hand that was covered in the young human’s wetness. Pulling it up to her mouth, she licked the nectar off of her fingers, her eyes staring into Sage’s as she did. She heard the moment her heartbeat picked up and she grabbed Sage’s hips and lifted her up, forcing her to wrap her legs around Vayna’s waist. She turned and left the room, heading towards her own as she purred into Sage’s ear, “I want you in my bed.”
“Valkyrie…” Sage whispered in response as she wrapped her arms around the vampire’s neck and clung to her. She was half naked, being carried by a vampire, about to be made love to by her. Somewhere, deep in the back of her mind, something said that she shouldn’t be doing this. That it was wrong, but she easily ignored it. How could something that felt so right be so wrong? She tilted her head down and pressed her lips against Vayna’s hard. She giggled into the kiss when the vampire stumbled for a moment, but then groaned when she bit down on her bottom lip. Willingly, she opened her mouth and let Vayna’s tongue map out every inch of her mouth. She felt like she was being possessed by her.
On an instinctual level, Vayna realized that she was indeed trying to possess her. Trying to claim her as her own. It was an act that she hadn’t done since the death of her beloved, but she was too far gone into her lust to consciously comprehend what she was doing. All she could think about was making love to Sage, taking her and giving her pleasure. Nothing else mattered at that moment. Slowly and gently, she lowered the young human down onto her bed as she broke the kiss. Staring down into eyes turned black from desire, she whispered, “Are you sure? I never intended to take advantage of you like this.”
Sage sat up a little and pressed a soft, tender kiss against Vayna’s mouth. The kiss spoke of trust and a slight eagerness. Vayna returned the kiss with her own eagerness as she tried hard to keep the kiss from turning into a passionate one. She wanted the young human to control the kiss she started. Sage ended it and pressed her cheek to Vayna’s as she said softly, “Yes, I’m sure. I want this, I want you. Please, Vayna… Valkyrie. Make love to me?”
Vayna groaned softly at the use of her actual name. How long had it been since she made love to a partner that called her that? She honestly couldn’t remember and it was enough to drive her crazy! Her fingers worked as quickly as they could to unbutton her own pajama top as she pressed her lips against Sage’s once more. She nipped at her bottom lip hard enough to draw blood from her bottom lip, and the human gasped under her from the sensation. A groan echoed from both of them as Vayna lapped at the blood. For a human, her blood was one of the sweetest she ever tasted! Sage wrapped her arms around the vampire’s neck and whimpered into her mouth as their tongues met and caressed.
Vayna easily pulled her shirt off and tossed it onto the floor. She shuddered when Sage’s hands floated over her skin. It was quite a while since she last had a human lover in her bed. She forgot how amazing the warmth of a human could feel against her chilled skin. It was even longer since a human occupied her bed that knew what she was. The knowledge seemed to heighten both of their arousals. She broke the kiss so Sage could breathe, not really needing to herself.
The two panted for a moment before she attacked the young woman’s neck in kisses and nips. Sage mewled from underneath her and she growled softly in response. Her undead senses were being driven crazy by the human’s sweet responses to her actions! She paused for a moment and sniffed at Sage’s skin. She could hear the blood rush through her veins; could smell it quite clearly. Without thinking about it, she opened her mouth and was about to bite down when she stopped herself.
No, not yet.
She didn’t want Sage to become weak from blood loss before she made love to her. The passion that would flow through her veins would only make her blood taste that much sweeter. Instead, she placed an open mouthed kiss on the spot. A strange urge came over her and she teased the spot with her teeth, bruising the skin. Her inner vampire purred victoriously when she pulled back and saw the mark starting to form on the young human’s neck. It was wrong, and she should stop… a part of her wanted to stop. The part that still loved her beloved from so long ago argued that she should… but she was too far gone to stop now. Her body ached with need, her inner vampire demanded satisfaction, and she herself wanted to taste the sweet human below her.
Sage didn’t see the hesitation that crossed Vayna’s face. She didn’t know that Vayna debated for a split second before continuing. She didn’t have any doubts at all. She wanted this ancient vampire in a way that she was sure she never wanted anyone before. She groaned in loss when Vayna pulled away from her.
The vampire silenced her with a soft kiss before standing up and pulling her pajama bottoms down. Sage quickly sh
ed her own pajama top as she watched Vayna finally reveal her entire body. Her breath was taken away as she slid to the edge of the bed and stood up. Vayna didn’t move as Sage took a step towards her and lightly trailed her hand down over her collarbone. A shiver went through both of them as she whispered, “You’re beautiful, Valkyrie…”
Indeed, to Sage she looked perfect. Her skin was a soft white, pale from being a vampire, and so very smooth. It was slightly chilled from being undead, but she didn’t mind. The coldness of her partner’s skin heightened her own arousal. Her eyes trailed over the entire length of Vayna’s body. Her eyes darkened as she took in breasts that were full and round, a toned stomach, and the light covering of hair that teased her about the hidden depths that lay after it. She felt a surprising flash of possessiveness at the thought of how many people may have seen Vayna’s body in such an intimate way.
She stepped even closer and their bodies touched. Vayna hissed softly while Sage moaned. She changed the path her hand was taking and cupped the vampire’s breast fully. It felt soft and cool to her touch and sat heavily in her palm. She knew, even though she couldn’t say how she knew, that she never had never been intimate with another female before. Despite that fact, she couldn’t help but think that it felt right to be touching another woman in such a personal way.
Vayna raised her arm and wrapped it around Sage’s waist as she drew her closer. A soft cat-like purr echoed from her when she felt the young human’s hand on her breast. Her nipple started to harden from the pleasuring touch. She could tell this was Sage’s first time touching another woman and she let her go slowly. The young human was squeezing and stroking her skin so softly that it made goose bumps break out on Vayna’s arms. Her desire heightened when Sage dropped her head and opened her mouth. She hissed softly as her eyes fell shut when the young human drew her cool bud into her mouth and began to suck on it. Her mouth was so warm and moist that it felt like heaven to the ancient vampire. She couldn’t remember how long it was since someone touched her like that.
