Hat Trick (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 10

by Lynn Tyler

It was time he fessed up to Jeremy and Rachel and take what was coming like a man.

By the time the coach had run out of curse words, and consequently air, Nathan was ready to just head to the hotel and fall asleep. The others swarmed around, getting ready to go, while he just sat there, trying to dredge up the energy to get dressed.

A fist connected with his left shoulder, not hard, but enough to get his attention. He looked over to see Johnston standing there with a hangdog expression on his face. “Sorry I got in your face, Vaughan. I just hate that I played so poorly.”

Nathan could understand the feeling. “Yeah, me, too. Thanks for letting me crash at your place last night.”

“No problem, bud.” The goalie nodded in the opposite direction and shoved his hands in his pockets. “I think your boy’s waiting on you. Don’t hold up the bus, dude. We all just want to get to the hotel and bask in our glorious loss. Do you think if I acted all bummed out I could find a good lay?”

  “Get out of here, Johnston.”

He pulled himself up and dressed quickly, discarding the clammy towel in the laundry hamper as he went. “You ready, Jer?”

Jeremy nodded, a strangely curious look on his face, and they walked together to the bus. The entire team was already on the bus, and the ride to the hotel was a silent and somber one. They hadn’t lost by such a large margin in weeks. From the looks on everyone else’s faces, the whole team was ready to just go to bed and forget this last game.

The bus pulled up to the hotel, and the team filed off to the jeers of Boston fans. At least their security kept off any crazies, although it looked like these fans were the type to heckle rather than do anything physical.

Nathan swiped his key card through the lock on his door and paused, checking to see if Jeremy was still behind him. The man was still there, a small frown pulling down the corners of his mouth. He stepped aside to let Jeremy in and then followed him into the room, closing the door quietly behind him. With nothing better to do, he collapsed on the bed and flung one arm over his eyes.

The mattress dipped next to him, and Nathan felt a rough palm stroke gently over his bicep. “You okay? You look exhausted.”

He dropped his arm but stayed where he was. He couldn’t even dig up the motivation to pull off his clothes and slide under the covers. “M’fine,” he replied. “Johnston’s couch really sucks ass though. Didn’t sleep worth shit last night.”

“Because of the couch?” Jeremy asked in a knowing voice. He didn’t sound upset at all. In fact, though he had been quiet, Jeremy had been much more relaxed since last night, and despite their loss tonight, he seemed happier than Nathan had ever seen him.

“Well, the couch was only part of the reason. Really, I couldn’t sleep because of how I left things with you and Rachel. God, I’ve never seen her so hurt before.” Nathan shook his head at the memory and felt the shame at his behavior swell again. With a heavy heart, Nathan managed to take off his clothes without actually getting off the bed.

Jeremy laid down on the bed next to him, cuddling up to his side, his naked body warm and comforting. “She’s all right. She knows something is going on with you. I think it hurts her more that she can’t help you. She’s a trooper, our Rachel.”

Our Rachel. That was exactly right. Somewhere along the line, Rachel had ceased to be solely his and had become theirs. Oddly enough, that revelation didn’t fill him with fury. Jeremy’s shaggy brown hair tickled his chin as he snuggled closer. “You wanna tell me what’s really going on?”

Reaching over Jeremy’s body, Nathan clicked off the bedside lamp and plunged the room into darkness. For some reason, the pitch black of the room made it easier to confess his feelings, almost like if he didn’t have to see the censure in Jeremy’s eyes, it would be all right. “I broke a promise to Rachel.”

Jeremy began nuzzling his nose into Nathan’s chest, almost as if he was trying to soothe him. “Tell me,” Jeremy invited. And that was really what it was. An invitation to unload his burden, to pour out his heart.

Clearing his throat nervously, Nathan decided to take Jeremy up on that invitation. “When we got married, I promised I would love only her for the rest of my life. It was a vow I made, and I never thought I would break it.”

A gasp cut through the darkness, and Nathan felt Jeremy stiffen against him. The man seemed to vibrate with some unknown force. It was almost as if he was excited, although Nathan couldn’t figure out what Jeremy was excited over. “You fell in love with someone else.” Jeremy didn’t phrase his last words as a question, rather as a statement.

How would the man react when Nathan finally got up the guts to tell him that he had fallen in love with him? He had to man up and confess his feelings and then deal with the fallout. At least then he would know where he stood and maybe he could start dealing with his guilt. “I did,” he confirmed. Jeremy stiffened even more, and his breathing began to quicken. Nathan took a deep breath and blurted out his admission. “I fell in love with you.”

Nathan braced himself for the inevitable reaction and was completely surprised when damp, open-mouthed kisses began raining down on his chest and shoulder. Shivering when Jeremy scraped his teeth over his skin, Nathan groaned under his breath and grabbed a handful of the man’s soft hair, using it to pull him away.

“I love you, too,” Jeremy whispered, letting his lips brush against Nathan’s jaw with every word. “And I’m in love with Rachel. I didn’t know it was possible to love two people as much as I love you two, but I do.”

The words warmed Nathan all the way through, though it still didn’t solve his problem of breaking his vow to Rachel. “Rachel will hate me,” Nathan answered, speaking around the sudden lump in his throat.

Jeremy stopped trying to kiss him and pulled away, grabbing his cell phone from the bedside table. “Call her,” he offered, handing Nathan the phone. “Go on. You might be surprised by what she has to say. I’ll stay right here with you if you want. Or I can go to my room if you prefer.”

Nathan tightened his grip on Jeremy as a horrible dread filled him. “No, don’t leave me,” he begged. He could clearly hear the panic building in his voice.

Draping himself over Nathan as if he was afraid Nathan would bolt, Jeremy flung one arm over his waist and arranged his leg over Nathan’s thigh. He settled his head on Nathan’s chest and began stroking his long fingers over his abdomen.

“Don’t be scared,” he whispered. “I won’t leave.”

Those simple words bolstered Nathan’s confidence, and he began dialing his wife’s phone number. It wasn’t until the phone was already ringing that he realized just how late it was. “Maybe she’s already asleep,” he suggested hopefully.

His hope was short-lived when she answered. “Hello?”

The dread was back, sinking into his stomach and making him sweat. He wasn’t sure how pleasant it was for Jeremy to be spread out on top of him with how much he was perspiring. Jeremy didn’t move though, just continued petting his chest comfortingly.

Drawing strength from the warm, loving body next to his, Nathan spoke up. “Hey, honey.”

The silence on the other end of the phone nearly did him in. He wondered if it was possible to die from suspense. His heart was certainly pounding hard enough. “Um, you there, honey?” he finally asked. Jeremy squeezed his shoulder and moved so he was draped even farther on top of him. If he got much farther, Nathan wouldn’t be able to breathe.

A soft exhale sounded through the line. “I’m here, Nathan.”

They had had fights before, obviously. They happened to every couple. It had never been this awkward to talk to his own wife on the phone though. What the hell was he supposed to say? It wasn’t like she was giving him any hints. He scrabbled for something to say, settling on the first thing that came to mind. “How was your event tonight?” Sure, Nathan. Bring up the very thing you used to hurt her. He wanted to smack himself in the forehead for his stupidity. Jeremy was even muffling his laughter in th
e crook of Nathan’s neck.

“Is that Jeremy I hear in the background?” she asked, avoiding his question.

“Yeah.” Well, he wasn’t going to win any awards on his communications skills tonight. Jeremy’s whole body started shaking as he began laughing in earnest. At least someone was getting some amusement out of his discomfort.

Nathan heard a muffled sound from Rachel, sounding suspiciously like a giggle. What the fuck? Was he the only one suffering here? “Rach?”

His wife grew silent again, letting him stew in his own confused misery for a few minutes. “Can you tell me what’s really going on?” she finally said, so quietly he hardly heard her.

Here it was. The moment of truth. Preparing for the worst, he blurted out his news. “I love you, Rachel. That’s never going to change. But I’m in love with Jeremy, too.” He held his breath, waiting for her to either rip into him or burst into tears.

  “I know.”

I know? He’d gone through all this torment, and all she had to say was I know? “Rachel, did you hear me?”

This time her giggle was unmistakable. “I’ve known for weeks, Nath. I see the way you look at him. Do you think you could handle it if I told you that I love him, too? Or will you rip his balls off?”

He actually had to pause to consider her words. In the past, the idea of sharing her affection would have driven him mad with jealously. All he felt now was a deep sense of peace. If something happened to him, then Jeremy would be there for Rachel. His wife didn’t need anyone to take care of her, but she would have someone there to love her. And vice versa. Rachel would be there for Jeremy. The only thing he regretted was having this conversation with her over the phone.

Jeremy tilted his head so he could speak into the phone. “Tell him where you are, sweetheart.”

Nathan’s heart began pounding for an entirely different reason. Maybe she hadn’t told him about her event because she hadn’t gone. “Yeah,” he purred, shifting Jeremy so that he could breathe a little easier but keeping him close. “Tell me where you are.”

“I’m actually in room 1212, Jeremy’s room. I couldn’t stand how we left things. So I delegated my event to one of my employees and took the flight right after yours. It’s one of the advantages of being the boss.”

Room 1212? Well, hot damn, he and Jeremy were in room 1210. His wife was one sneaky woman, and he loved her all the more for it. Jeremy shifted against him, pushing a hard cock into his hip. He was already leaking pre-cum, and his balls, which were brushing against Nathan’s leg, were pulled tight to his body. Nathan’s eyes nearly rolled back in his head. A soft knock sounded at the door, and he shot off the bed, ignoring Jeremy’s burst of laughter.

Yanking the door open, he fell to his knees at Rachel’s feet. He grabbed her around the hips and buried his face against her stomach, nuzzling in as he spoke. “Please, honey, forgive me. I know I don’t have an excuse for how I’ve been treated you, but I’ve been torn up inside about falling in love with Jer.”

She combed her fingers through his hair and nudged him in the chest with her knee, forcing him to shuffle back. Stepping into the room, she shut the door behind her and urged him to his feet. “Nathan, I forgive you, baby. Relax.” She looked up at him, and he saw the truth shining in her eyes. “I’m not angry. I was just frustrated you were hurting, and I didn’t know how to help you. Now, are you going to stand there or are you going to fuck me?”

Jeremy sat up in the bed and motioned for the two of them to come closer. “Come on over here, sweetheart. I’ll fuck you if he won’t.”

  Chapter 10

Rachel shivered with anticipation. She had a feeling she was about to get fucked by both of her men. Nathan scooped her up and swung her around in a circle, a smile beaming on his face. His utter joy in the freedom to love two people was so evident it made her want to cry. Nathan had always had the biggest heart of anyone she had ever known, and she was honored to share that heart with Jeremy, especially knowing she now occupied space in Jeremy’s heart.

“We’re not going to fuck you,” her husband scolded her before dropping her unceremoniously onto the bed. “We’re going to love on you until you can’t stay awake.”

Her pussy flooded at the sexy words, and she had just enough time to shed the tank top and boy shorts she had slipped on before Jeremy pounced on her and rolled on top of her.

“Hi,” he greeted her with a low growl. He pressed his lips to hers softly, sucking lightly on her lower lip until she whimpered.

“Damn, you two are so hot,” Nathan said reverently. She looked up at him and began salivating. He was stroking his hard cock with one hand, stopping just underneath the purpled head and swiping his thumb across the slit at the end with every upstroke. His other hand was between his legs, tugging gently on his balls.

Jeremy began sucking on her neck, right over her pulse. He mouthed her collarbones softly, pausing to nip sharply with his teeth. He soothed the slight sting with his tongue and continued his way down her chest until he latched onto one hard, puckered nipple. The man really knew how to torture her. He sucked so gently she could only feel a slight, maddening tickle. Grabbing his hair, she yanked him closer and arched her back, forcing her breast farther into her mouth. Her flesh vibrated with his muffled chuckle, but he obliged her demand and suckled harder.

A hand clamped on her chin and forced her head over to face Nathan, who was guiding his cock to her mouth. She lifted her head and let the tip of him sink into her mouth, licking away the small beads of pre-cum that had collected there. Frustration tore through her when she realized her position prevented her from really blowing him the way she wanted. He must have seen the feeling in her expression because he pulled away and lay down next to her, worming his hand between her body and Jeremy’s to play between her legs. His fingers sought and found the hard clit at the top of her pussy, strumming it expertly until she was crying out at the feeling. The need to come was becoming urgent, her hips jerking toward Nathan’s teasing fingers. “I need you in me,” she sobbed.

“How, honey? How do you want us in you? One at a time?” Nathan’s damp mouth pressed against her temple as his breathing became strained.

God, he expected her to think? She wanted them both so badly there was no way she could choose who took her first. She shifted, far too agitated to say anything at all. The move dislodged Jeremy’s mouth, but he merely looked down at her and grinned.

  “Do you trust us, baby?”

Had the man lost his mind? Of course she trusted them. She wouldn’t be in bed with them if she didn’t. The answer seemed so important to him so she nodded.

He smiled approvingly and slid off her, pulling her up so she was sitting. “I want to be in you the same time as Nathan.”

Gulping around the sudden lump in her throat, Rachel tried to figure out if she was scared or turned on. There was certainly a healthy dose of fear, but desire was quickly overtaking everything else.

Nathan, however, had paled to the point of being pasty. “I’ve never done anything like that.”

“You better not have,” Rachel exclaimed. She wasn’t angry though. They had been fifteen and bumbling virgins when they’d started dating. They had grown together, learning each other’s likes and hot spots. Their sex life had been varied and adventurous, but anal sex wasn’t something they had ever tried.

Nathan shook his head, looking more nervous at the idea of double penetration than she was. “I…I…I don’t know what to do,” he stammered.

If there was one thing that Nathan had ever feared, it was hurting her. That, and losing control of a situation.

Jeremy’s expression softened, and he reached out to pet Nathan’s hip, lingering over the sensitive skin of his groin. “I’ll do the hard stuff, okay? I won’t let her get hurt.” He pushed Nathan around on the mattress until he settled in the middle of the bed on his back. “Hop on up, baby,” he said lightly.

He helped her straddle Nathan’s hips and then did the sexiest th
ing she had ever seen. Jeremy palmed Nathan, stroked him once from root to tip and then back down, then held Nathan steady as she lowered herself down. She leaned forward, pushing her ass up to Jeremy, expecting to feel fingers breaching her puckered hole. Instead, he pulled her back up and began kissing her neck from behind, cupping her breasts and pinching her aching nipples. Covering his hands with hers, she leaned her head back against Jeremy’s shoulder and let him play. She was so hot, desperate for something, anything, to happen, and Nathan just lay there motionless, a look of wonder on his face. She slid one hand down her belly and combed her fingers through her trimmed curls. Nathan groaned breathlessly and bucked his hips, driving himself farther into her.

“Yeah, baby, play with yourself. It’s so fucking hot. You’re so damn sexy I’m going to come before I’m even fully in your ass.” Jeremy’s words were breathed right against the sensitive skin of her neck, the warm, damp breath sending goose bumps down her arms.

Jeremy tapped Nathan’s hip sharply, the smack ringing out in the quiet room. “Don’t move.” He left for a moment, and she could hear him rustling around in his toiletry bag. She continued with what she was doing, rubbing slowly, lightly at her clit. It wasn’t enough to make her come, but it was enough to keep her excited. Nathan’s cock pulsed inside of her, and he gritted his teeth as he seemed to fight for control. The sudden warmth at her back signaled Jeremy’s return, and his callused palm pushed gently between her shoulder blades, urging her forward until she was all but plastered against Nathan’s chest. “Are you ready to do some of the hard stuff, babe?” he asked Nathan.

She felt Nathan’s chin brush the top of her head when he nodded and Jeremy passed something to him. It was small enough to hide in Nathan’s hand, but she caught a flash of silver. “We gotta distract her while I’m getting her ready,” Jeremy explained as he circled his lube-slicked fingers around her hole, igniting sparks all along her spine. “Just hold that little gem against her clit while I work.”
