He shifted, moving to lay beside me, and curled me against his bare chest. I wrapped one arm around his stomach and rested my head on his shoulder. Lifting my chin, he kissed my neck, his lips pressed against my fluttering pulse.
“I love you,” my husband breathed, smoothing my hair from my face.
I turned to look into those gentle, familiar eyes and smiled. “I love you too.”
We had two more days before we had to go back home, and I couldn’t wait to see what the rest of the weekend would bring.
