Sheikh's Desire

Page 24

by Leah Leonard

“And do you Kelley Jones-Smith take Sheikh Khalil to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

  “Absolutely.”

  “You may kiss your bride.”

In the same manner in which he always held her, Khalil wrapped his arms lovingly around Kelley’s waist, pulled her close and kissed her more passionately than ever before. When their lips finally parted, he whispered, “I love you more than life itself.”

With tears in her eyes, she said, “I love you.”

They turned to face the small gathering of family and a few close friends who came to celebrate.

The elder Sheikh was the first person to approach the newlyweds. He looked straight into Kelley’s eyes this time, took her hand, and said, “Welcome to our family.”

Kelley now had it all – a new family to call her own, the most beautiful home in the world, and most importantly, the love of her life by her side for eternity.

And they lived happily ever after.
