I bucked as I rode on top of him, enjoying those moments when he’d squeeze my ass, pushing his cock deep inside me with an upwards thrust of his hips. Wyatt kissed me, forcing his tongue into my mouth and swirling it with a furious passion, as if he was trying to taste me, to experience every inch of my body all at once.

“Let’s go to your bed,” he said, breaking off our kiss.

I rolled off of him onto the couch and took his hand, leading him up the stairs to the lofted bedroom. My room had been fitted with a king-size bed, a fact that I’d been completely appreciative of when I’d found it upon entering the cottage for the first time. It provided an excellent night’s sleep, a luxury that was extremely necessary given my tough work schedule. But for some reason, I had a feeling I wouldn’t be getting much sleep tonight.

I crawled onto the bed on all fours, my curvy ass up in the air beckoning to him, tempting him to put himself inside me and give me a good, hard fucking. Now that I’d warmed up while riding him, I wanted it rough, deep and dirty. Would he oblige? Did he know what I wanted or was he going to make me beg for it?

Wyatt sidled up behind me and I felt him rubbing his cock against my wet slit, teasing my swollen lips before thrusting inside me, that fat head stretching my pussy and making way for his pulsing, girthy rod.

Having Wyatt inside me was pure ecstasy and quickly my mind was lost in delirium, and the hard rhythm of in and out, of powerful thrusts that sent his thighs slapping against the soft skin of my bodacious ass. He gave me a few light spanks, just what I’d anticipated. Then a little pull of my hair combined with a particularly powerful thrust. He sure knew how to treat a girl.

I pushed my face down into the pillow, my large, supple breasts touching the sheets of the bed as I arched my ass in the air, making it round as he held me by the hips, adding leverage to a series of rapid thrusts. With each stroke I felt him going deeper and deeper inside me, my pussy dripping wet, making it easy for him to get that cock in there, allowing us both to consummate our desire in the small, private bedroom of my cottage.

I reached a hand beneath me, my face still pressed into the pillow, muffling loud moans of bliss. Slowly, I started playing with my clit, then reached back and ran my hand over his balls as he continued to fuck me doggy-style, filling my pussy up with that big dick of his.

But the moment I started playing with myself I regretted it, because already I could feel an orgasm arising within the core of my body. I was so close, and as much as I looked forward to the intensity of climax, I didn’t want the night to be over so soon.

Now that the moment had arrived, I started begging him for it.

“Faster, faster. Harder, HARDER!” I screamed.

I wanted everything he had, wanted him to give it to me harder than before, wanting our fuck to be unique in its climactic appeal, as an expression of our mutual lust and desire. But soon my mouth wouldn’t even form the words to express my lust, and the only sounds that emitted were breathy moans of ecstasy that got louder and louder with each utterance.

His hands were still clasped around my waist as he fucked me, his thrusts still going deep, but slowing down, becoming gentler. I bounced my ass on him, clenching my pussy around his thick rod. With each stroke he applied a new, more determined pressure, bringing his fat head almost completely out of my pussy, increasing the friction that was the source of my pleasure.

And all of the sudden it was upon me, an unstoppable force, the blissful inevitability of climax. I was coming now, yelling “Yes, yes, yes!” as he continued to fuck me, wishing he’d come inside me so that I could feel that sticky, hot load filling up my little pussy.

I lay limp on the bed with Wyatt still fucking me hard, imagining the feeling of his cum as I was overcome by orgasm. But suddenly the intensity of the feeling became real. I didn’t have to imagine it anymore: I could feel his load exploding inside me, as he held his cock deep in my sweet pussy. I moaned loudly, pushing my face into the pillow to stifle my sounds of sexual rapture.

In time, he pulled out his cock and I rolled over on my back, looking up to see it glistening, slick with my juices mingled with his huge load. As he lay down on the bed, I brought my head over towards his cock, propping myself up with a hand on his thigh as I sucked at it, tasting his cum for the first time while I licked his shaft. I cupped his balls as I took him deep into my throat again, squeezing his shaft with my other hand to milk out every last drop of cum.

I looked up at him and saw a dirty wink. I smiled and lay back down beside him, feeling him wrap his arm around me as he pulled the covers over us. I lay there happy and tired, feeling his still semi-hard cock pressed up against my voluptuous ass. Closing my eyes, I sighed and drifted off to sleep. But there was no way my dreams could be any more pleasurable than real life tonight.

  CHAPTER 3

  ~ Adelaide ~

The next morning I woke up disappointed to find that Wyatt had left. I lay alone in the bed as I noticed it was still dark outside. The sun would be up shortly, and that meant I’d better get dressed. We had another long day ahead of us.

I cooked breakfast for myself and around 6:30 AM, I headed over to Jim’s cottage to go over our plans for the day. He offered me a cup of coffee, and even though I’d already had one with breakfast, I figured some extra caffeine couldn’t hurt given the lack of sleep I’d had last night.

Jim didn’t look so top of the world himself. Apparently, he’d been out drinking really late with his old buddy, and he’d only gotten a few hours of sleep. Now, it might not have been too difficult to make it through a normal workday, but as we sat in Jim’s cottage drinking coffee and discussing the training regimen, we heard an unexpected knock on the door.

Jim rose from the table and opened the door to find Don with a grimace on his face.

“How’s it going, Don?” said Jim, tired but still remaining polite and friendly.

“Boss is here, came in late last night. We’re moving the weekly meeting to today. Lunch will be served as usual, but he wants to hear about your progress.”

“Haven’t you been giving him updates?” asked Jim.

“Of course. But he wants something more detailed, he wants a chance to ask questions and get answers in person. Just be ready by noon,” said Don sternly. “And I’m sure I don’t need to impress upon you the gravity of this situation.”

Jim nodded and shut the door, walking back to the table with a concerned expression on his face. He looked at me, his eyes saying it all. This was an unwelcome surprise.

“Dammit,” I said. “This is gonna interfere with training. Does this guy want us to keep giving him presentations or does he want us to actually train his damn horses? Why won’t he let us just do our jobs?”

“I’ve never been micromanaged like this,” replied Jim, shaking his head. “Usually owners take a backseat, I got used to working that way. But you know how much money he’s paying us, Addie. And you know Fast Lane is the real deal. We’ve just got to go in there and impress him.”

“I know, but I just hate the distraction.”

“Well, how about you go out and tend to the horses? I’ll put together the strategy notes and make sure I give him a thorough update, make sure I touch on all the hot points.”

“Deal. Let me know if you need anything from me,” I said, getting up from the kitchen table and putting my empty coffee mug in the sink.

I walked out the door into the brisk atmosphere of a March morning in Texas. I breathed the refreshing air in deeply, knowing that soon the sun would warm up these open pastures. Heading over to the stables, I thought about the day ahead. There was no denying that I was nervous about meeting Mr. Matheson. I knew Jim would be responsible for doing most of the talking, but nevertheless, the rumors I’d heard were intimidating.

Fortunately, my work with Fast Lane distracted my mind for the next few hours. But before I knew it, it was 11:45 AM and Jim came out to the stables to get me.

It was on. No turning back now. I prayed sil
ently for the best.

We entered the luxurious mansion, my heart beating rapidly as we walked down the velvet carpet of the long hallway towards the familiar dining room where we had our usual weekly meeting. I took deep breaths and tried to calm myself down. Jim looked over at me, his eyes concerned, making sure I was ok; that I wouldn’t do something that might embarrass us both.

I gave him a smile that let him know I was fine and that he didn’t have anything to worry about. By the time we found ourselves outside the large mahogany doors of the dining room, my pulse had slowed. I took another deep breath and pushed my way inside.

To my surprise, I saw Wyatt sitting at the head of the table.

“Mr. Matheson, good to see you again,” said Jim in a strong, affable voice.

He walked over and shook Wyatt’s hand. I was frozen, completely mortified, my eyes wide with incredulity.

“Adelaide, don’t be rude, get over here and introduce yourself,” said Jim, turning around and nodding toward Wyatt.

I walked towards Wyatt, who extended his hand in my direction.

“Lane Matheson,” he said with a warm smile that showed off his perfect teeth. “Pleased to meet you. I’m very grateful for all the work you two are doing with Fast Lane and the other Thoroughbreds. I’m looking forward to hearing all the details.”

I could barely believe it. I sat down at the table with the rest of the men, feeling like I might faint. I’d fucked Lane Matheson. And I hadn’t even known it was him.

My mind flashed back to the belt buckle as it clattered to the floor last night. It was engraved with “LWM”, Lane Wyatt Matheson. It all made sense now.

On the outside I was calm. I smiled and stayed quiet as they all talked, but inside I was an absolute mess. Could I get in trouble? Would I be fired?

I tried to think rationally. The more I thought about it, I knew I could trust Wyatt—errr, Lane. Every now and then I glanced over at him. Finally, I caught his eye, and he shot me a quick, subtle wink. I guess our secret would stay between us; that private moment of bliss that only we knew about, the moment where I’d given into temptation and let that cocky cowboy have his way with me.

It was complicated, but if I’m being honest, I hoped it would happen again. There were still months to go before the Derby. I’d be at the ranch, and Lane knew that. If he wanted me, I was here for the taking.

In the end, I was pretty confident he’d be coming back for more. The next time I caught his eye, I smiled at him naughtily. Oh yeah, he’d be back for more, alright.

Throughout the meeting, I couldn’t help but think about the time I’d spent with Lane the night before. I slid my hand off the table and into my lap, rubbing it gently up my thigh, trying to re-imagine his touch.

I’d need to be careful not to moan, not to let on to anyone else at the table that I was living a fantasy, daydreaming rough sex as I sat in the dining room talking business. What a dirty little secret. I closed my eyes to imagine it more vividly. Lane just drove me wild like that.

“Adelaide, what do you think about this? Adelaide?”

I snapped back to the present moment to find Jim waving his hand eagerly in front of my face.

  “Huh? What?” I asked. “Sorry.”

“What do you think about the new timeline? Do you agree with Jim that Fast Lane can keep up with this schedule?” asked Don.

I looked up at the slide projected on the wall of the dining room. Don wanted to increase the pace of our training schedule, effectively moving the deadline up by two weeks. I wasn’t sure why Jim had signed off on this; it seemed way too aggressive to be realistic. We didn’t want to push the horse too soon or we might strain him too much and ruin his Derby chances completely.

Glancing sideways at Jim, I could see that he clearly wanted me to say yes. But why? Was Don pressuring him? I couldn’t see the rationale behind changing the timeline at this stage of the game. There was still plenty of time and no need to rush. I looked up at the slide once more to confirm its content and then stared directly at Don.

“I think it’s a bit much. I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.”

“Adelaide,” said Jim, turning in his chair to face me. “Don and I both agree that this is the best course of action. I don’t see any reason to hold back now. We’re going for a Derby here.”

“That’s precisely why we need to hold back. If you push that horse too hard, he won’t even get close to the Derby.”

After I said that, I noticed Don giving me a look like he wanted to murder me. Jim looked nervous and began awkwardly fumbling with the laptop that sat in front of him.

I didn’t say anything else. It was like they had this secret agreement that somehow I wasn’t let in on, like I was some actress who’d showed up on set without memorizing her lines. I gazed around the table at everyone staring back at me and shrugged.

“I think maybe we ought to adjourn this meeting for the time being,” said Don, his voice annoyed.

I could see his face starting to turn red. Lane, on the other hand, was quietly observing the whole conversational exchange. His glance was completely neutral, not even hinting at his thoughts on the matter.

We all got up from the table, the silence around us much too awkward to stick around. Why was Don giving me the cold shoulder? And why was Jim so uncharacteristically nervous?

Jim and I left the other two in the dining room and pushed our way through the mahogany doors and out into the large hallway. After the door was safely closed behind us, I turned to Jim.

  “What was that all about?”

“Shh, not here. Wait till we get back to the stable.”

Once we were outside and positive we were out of earshot, Jim turned toward me and stopped me in my tracks.

“That’s was Mr. Matheson’s proposal you just dumped on back there,” he said, a glint of fear in his eyes.

  “Wait. What?”

“I’m sorry. I meant to tell you about it earlier. We were supposed to coordinate. Don only told me about it last night. It completely slipped my mind. But yes, Mr. Matheson was the one who wanted to fast-track the timeline. He wants that horse ready soon.”

“But Jim, you know it’s a risky move. It’s bad for Fast Lane. It’s bad for our chances of winning the Derby. I don’t care if it’s his idea. Can’t we explain that to Wyatt?”

  “To who?” asked Jim, confused.

“To Mr. Matheson,” I said, trying to cover my slip-up.

Lane, Wyatt, Mr. Matheson. I felt like I knew him by so many names that it was becoming a chore trying to make sure I used the right one in the right situation.

“Explain it to him? Addie, haven’t you heard the stories about him? Haven’t you heard about the people who get fired for disagreeing with him? I know that rushing the timeline isn’t the best option, but if it’s what he wants I’m going to give it to him.”

“Those are just rumors. The firings, all that. We’re the experts, Jim. That’s why he hired us,” I said, putting my hands on his shoulders. “We need to give some pushback on this.”

“I can’t risk it,” said Jim, ashamed and averting his eyes towards the ground. “He’s paying me a hell of a lot of money, Addie. I’ve got kids about to go to college soon. I’ve got responsibilities. There’s a lot riding on this for me. I just can’t risk crossing him.”

Those last words disappointed me. This wasn’t the Jim I knew. How could he be saying this? What about the integrity of our work? I swear, this never should have even been a consideration, period.

We should have nipped it in the bud on the first day when Don had dragged us into the dining room and told us about the “strategic oversight.” Jim had tried to get them to see it his way; he’d told Don he needed autonomy. But ultimately he’d backed down and now we were paying a heavy price.

I walked away from Jim, needing desperately to calm myself down. I simply couldn’t look at him I was so damn angry. We were the experts, the trainers. Lane had hired us to do the job for him.
Why did we have to tiptoe around him just because of his big billionaire freaking ego!

I went over to brush Fast Lane. If I didn’t love this horse so much or believe in our chances for the Derby, I might have quit at that very moment. But I figured I should just suck it up and deal with it. We’d worked with touchy clients before. I knew I could manage if I had to. But for right now, I wasn’t saying anything.

Jim came over to me, but he could tell I didn’t want to talk. We worked next to each other in strained silence, thinking our separate thoughts.

About half an hour later, Don came walking into the stables. His face was bent into an uncompromising scowl. He looked annoyed, but his voice was one of cold neutrality.

“Mr. Matheson wants to see you in his office,” he said sternly.

He was looking directly at me.

“Me?” I asked, tapping a finger against my chest.

  “Yes.”

I looked over at Jim, whose face showed concern and maybe even a little bit of anxiety over what was about to happen to me. It was seeing that fearful look on Jim’s face that made me start anticipating the worst.

When I’d first come out of our earlier meeting, I was heated and ready to assert myself. I was even secretly proud of myself that I’d had the courage to speak my mind in front of all those men. But now I was second guessing myself. Had I crossed Lane? Was I about to be fired? I suppose I was about to find out.

Jim must have seen me starting to worry, because he walked over to Don and I.

“Don, could you give us a quick second?” he asked.

“Make it quick. I’ll be waiting outside,” said Don gruffly.
