“What? Why not? I think it’s sexy.”

  “Oh it is, but…”

  “But what?”

“Chandra…unlike you, Reto had me branded.”

  “Oh, that.”

“What do you mean, oh that? Why didn’t they brand you?”

“They did. I got the traitor brand just like you.”

“Oh.” Feeling guilty for her suspicions, she added, “I’m sorry. Where did they put it on you?” Fay lifted her top. “Here’s where they put mine.”

“It’s where they put all of them.”

An angry heat flushed Fay’s cheeks. “Well, they obviously didn’t put it there on you.”

“Sure they did. Why didn’t you ask Andonis to remove it, like I did?”

“What? A brand can’t be removed.”

“Yeah, he has some miracle method that can remove it. He uses some kind of stem-cell restructuring, fillers, and something else. Oh, I don’t know how he did it, but he did a great job. It didn’t hurt or take long. I’m telling you, he’s fabulous.”

  Fay smiled. “I see.”

“Well, he might not be God, but he’s damn close.” Chandra squeezed Fay’s arm. “Just don’t tell him I said that, or his head will get bigger than it already is.”

“Andonis has a big ego? I never would have guessed.” Fay laughed before turning serious. “Chandra? Do you think he’d be willing to remove the brand for me?”

“If you want him to.” She slipped on her bottom piece. It was a thong, and so small in the front it barely covered her woman’s mound, but Chandra had a killer body and looked awesome in the strange outfit.

“Of course I want him to.”

“Well, then, come on! Grab one. Put it on and let’s get to the party.”

  Chapter 19

  Three weeks later

“Arlo wants a corset top to show off my new cleavage. Logan wants fine lace, and Drakker wants white leather. Can you make a leather corset-style wedding dress with lace accents?” Fay asked the dressmaker, Marigold, whose expression told her she had just the right design in mind. Off she ran to get her sketchpad while Fay looked over sexy underwear. She wanted one without a crotch just in case one of her men wanted to start the honeymoon early while the wedding celebrations were still in full swing.

She looked at a pair of black crotchless leather panties. How her dirty-minded Drakker would love these. She ran her hand over a fancy red silk pair. Her romantic-minded Arlo would demand she buy those, if he were here. Logan, her sensible but naughty lover, who kept them all in check, would want the royal-blue ones she now held.

Fay glanced up and saw Logan coming down the hall. Faster than a wildfire, she swiped them off the pile of panties and hid them from his view for a later surprise. Logan made her erotic thoughts so tempting to fulfill. She knew how he relished catching Drakker and her fondling each other discreetly in a public place. The idea of their getting caught turned Logan on, and she knew it. Even though he acted like it didn’t, it did.

Logan would always portray himself as the stoic leader, but it was the hard lump in his pants or the way he’d look at her that gave him away each time. On a few occasions when Drakker stopped at Logan’s censure, the disappointment was evident in his eyes. That’s when Fay would fake a pout and fidget until Logan would sneak a devilish finger of his own between her legs and bring her to a silent climax right there in front of everyone, without anyone the wiser.

She smiled as Logan entered the room saying, “What’s going on?”

“Just thinking of the devil.” Fay laughed at his mock. He crossed the room and wrapped his arms around her.

“Is the dressmaker done with you yet?”

“No. We’re just beginning the planning of my wedding dress. Marigold will be returning with her design book soon. We’ve yet to discuss the rest of the wedding details, like the cake, guests, food, and wines. Why?”

“I’ve been thinking about you all afternoon.”

Fay smiled. “Can’t forget the sexy time we had this morning, huh?”

“Nope.” He grinned. “I was hoping to steal you away for a late but romantic lunch and sweet talk you into wrapping your hot pussy around my cock.”

“In that case, I’ll tell Marigold to come back later.” Fay jumped up. “Oh!” She reached for Logan as she felt her eyes roll to the back of her head. Darkness faded her world from view.

Logan caught her before she hit the floor. She could hear his muffled words.

“Darlin’? Fay? Are you all right?”

She felt Logan lift and lay her body on the sofa. Within minutes, the sound of Drakker rushing into the room with Arlo’s footsteps running in soon after, registered even though her attention was now fully in the fifth dimension with Chandra. When Fay’s mind returned to her physical body the first voice she heard was Drakker’s.

  “What happened?”

“I don’t know. One minute she was fine and the next she was out.”

“Is she pregnant?” Arlo’s question stepped over Logan’s answer to Drakker’s question.

“How would I know?” Logan’s voice raised in panic. “Where’s Roxie? She’s a woman. She’d know what’s wrong with Fay.”

“Sssh.” Fay’s soft hush startled them. “It’s an emergency.”

“Are you all right?” the three said in unison.

“I’m not sure how she did it.”

“Who did what, Fay?” Logan asked.

“Chandra knocked me out.” She spoke, but her eyes remained closed, just as they did when she was mind traveling.

Arlo frowned. “How is it possible? She’s at Mountain’s Peak with Ortello, isn’t she?”

Fay held up her finger to stop all the chatter. “There’s been an attack by the Dirt Dwellers at Mountain’s Peak. Ortello’s been wounded! Chandra’s trying to get them to safety.”

  “Where are Nikias and Andonis?”

“It’s happening now!” Fay opened her eyes and flew off the sofa. “Hurry! We have to save them. They’re surrounded by Dirt Dwellers!”
