Yank yells, “I don’t know, they act as though they’re out of fuel! Check the fuel tanks.”
Tinker checks the tanks, seeing the gauge is on empty he shouts, “We’re out of fuel!”
Yank says, “That can’t be.” Coming down he checks for himself, then glancing over the side on the surface of the water, he notices what appears to be a filmy looking substance floating on the waters surface.
Yank reaches down into the water sticking his hand in the filmy substance, bringing his fingers to his nose he sniffs his fingers, “We’re losing fuel he shouts.”
About that time they hear something climbing up the side of the boat, looking up they see that several werewolves have just climbed aboard.
Cheri yells for Yank to duck, as he does Cheri opens fire; dropping one of the werewolves as it lets out a blood curdling howl. Kicking and convulsing it finally falls onto the deck, as it lies dying it transforms back into its human form.
Tinker open fires on the second werewolf, as it falls back over the side of the boat into the water.
Yank meanwhile finds the cut fuel line and begins making repairs, as two more werewolves come on board.
Cheri open fires on one of them as it collapses onto the
deck, howling as it cries out in agony. As it lies dying it
transforms back into its human form. The other werewolf corners Marie against the cabin wall.
Tinker shouts, “Get down Marie!” As he open fires on the second werewolf, it too drops onto the deck howling in agony, kicking and convulsing as it lies dying, and begins transforming back into its human form as well.
Yank yells at Tinker, “I’ve fixed the damaged fuel line, go below and get the spare gas cans and refill the fuel tank. Let me know when you are done.”
Tinker goes below, locating the fuel cans, begins refilling the fuel tank shortly after having the fuel tank
refilled. Tinker yells, “Ok go ahead and start the motors Yank.”
Meanwhile up on the top deck, two more werewolves climb on board as Cheri and Marie open fires on them both.
The silver bullets rip deep into their flesh, as they let out blood curdling howls falling over board into the swamp water. It isn’t long before two large gators move in to feed on their bodies.
Cheri looking over the side of the boat, she sees the gators feeding on the two bodies and says, “Sucks to be them.” Tinker looks over at her smiling, as Yank fires up the motors and they soon head out into deeper water.
Back on the bank, the Master werewolf and what remains of his pack stand watching as the boat disappears into night.
As Yank steers the boat back towards the docks and
civilization, Cheri, Marie, and Tinker throw the brotherhood
member’s dead bodies over board. As they stand watching the
bodies slowly drift farther and farther away, three large gators
move in for a late night feeding frenzy. The Master werewolf and his pack slowly turn and head back to the compound.
Later back at the compound, Lucifer is furious, as he
screams at his Master werewolf, “You fool! You let them get away, you are worthless to me!”
As he turns and walks away, Lucifer spots Richard and signals him to approach. Richard stands before Lucifer, as quietly Lucifer gives him instructions.
Later that evening Richard kneels before Lucifer as he sets on his throne of human bones. He hands Richard a piece of paper, at the top of the paper it reads CONTRACT.
Lucifer instructs Richard to hold out his left-hand, Richard does as he is asked, as Lucifer slices Richards palm with his dagger. Richards blood drips onto the contract, Lucifer then says, “There, it is done! You have just been promoted.” Lucifer reaches out his hand, clutched in his
fingers is the Wolf Strap, Lucifer says, “Take it. Now you know what you must do!”
Richard bows to Lucifer and says, “I hear and obey O
Dark Lord.”
Later that night the screams of the dean could be heard
echoing through the swamp as the dean lies dead at Richards’s feet. Richard towers over him, a New Master werewolf has been chosen.
Meanwhile back in New Orleans, Tinker and Yank drop off Cheri, Megan, and Marie at Cheri’s house. As Cheri, Megan, and Marie walk slowly towards the house, Yank tells them, “Get some rest, then we’ll plan Richard and Pierre’s rescue.”
“Ok,” Cheri says. Yank and Tinker pull away in their
pickup truck, as Megan, Marie, and Cheri walk inside. Cheri locks the front door behind them. Kneeling down she picks up Megan and says, “Come on babe, let’s get you tucked in, it’s been along night.”
Marie heads into the kitchen, searching the cabinets she
finds a bottle of Bourbon and pours herself a drink as she sets
down at the table. After Cheri has Megan tucked in bed, she joins Marie in the kitchen setting down next to her.
Cheri looks across the table at Marie and says, “It’s times like these I could really use a drink, but for the baby’s sake I won’t.”
Marie smiles and says, “Then I’ll drink for you my dear.”
Marie holds her glass up, Cheri in turn toasts her with a
glass of orange juice and says, “Cheers.”
The next morning, Tinker and Yank arrive. Knocking at
the door, Marie answers it. “Hello boys! Come on in.”
They all gather at the kitchen table as they plan their strategy of how they’re going to rescue Pierre and Richard from the compound.
They finally, after much discussion, decide that Cheri, Marie, and Megan need to set this one out. That Tinker and Yank would go it alone this time around.
Meanwhile back at the compound, Lucifer confers with his new Master werewolf Richard. Lucifer says, “I’m sending you back to your family, I will erase your memory of our partnership until the time is right. Then I will have you strike. Look into my eyes,” Lucifer says, “and listen to my words addressed to thee, and as I will, so mote it be!”
Richard, in a hypnotic state, replies, “Yes Dark Lord, I hear and obey.”
Hours pass, as Richard awakens, looking around he realizes that he is sitting in the drivers seat of his CJ7, the motors running, and the radio is playing an old tune, “Hungry Like the Wolf,” by a well known 80’s band. Richard coming out of his trance puts his Jeep into gear and pulls out onto the highway and heads towards home.
Meanwhile back at the docks, Tinker and Yank finish
loading supplies onto Pierre’s boat, as they prepare for another
journey back into the Louisiana Bayou, to rescue Richard and
Pierre. Or so they think.
Tinker says, “I’ll untie us.” Yank fires up the twin motors and steers the boat away from the docks, as they head back out for the Bayou.
Back in town Cheri drops Marie off at her house, as she
and Megan head for Megan’s school, after dropping Megan off, Cheri heads for her New Age shop.
Not long after Cheri pulls up in front of her shop. Shutting off her van she gets out, walking to the door she unlocks it and goes inside. Once inside she heads to the back kitchenette and puts on a pot of Folgers coffee, and returns to the front of the store, where she starts unpacking candles from a shipment that had been delivered some time ago.
Her mind is on Richard and Pierre, hoping that Tinker and Yanks rescue attempt is successful, and that they all make it back home safely. Suddenly the phone rings making her jump. She answers it and says, “Cheri’s New Age shop, may I help you?”
“Cheri, this is Richard.”
Cheri can’t believe her ears, “Richard,” she says, “is this really you? Where are you?”
Richard says, “I’m at the house, I don’t really remember much; everything is sort of a blur. All I remember is waking up in my Jeep, setting off the side of the highway outside of town. So you and Megan are ok?”
“Yes,” Cheri says, “Tinker and Yank dropped us off at the ho
use last night.”
Richard asks, “What about your dad, is he ok?”
Cheri says, “I don’t know. We had to leave him behind at the compound; it was all we could do to escape ourselves after we rescued Megan.
Richard asks, “What were you doing at the compound?”
Cheri says, “You don’t remember?”
Richard says, “My mind is a total blank, the only thing I remember is being at the shop with you and Megan, then Isabella came in with Boo.”
“Oh my God, Richard that’s the last thing you remember?” Cheri asks.
“I’m afraid so,” Richard says, “what have I missed?”
Cheri says, “Stay there Richard, I’m coming home, I’ve got to bring you up to speed. So don’t go anywhere, I’m heading out the door soon as I hang up.”
Richard says, “I’ll be right here waiting; could you bring home some fast food though on your way home,” Richard asks. “Make mine rare, I’m starving, feels like I haven’t eaten in weeks!”
“Ok,” Cheri says, “I’ll see you soon, stay put!” Cheri
hangs up the phone, shutting off the lights, she locks the door to her shop and heads for her van.
Meanwhile back on Pierre’s boat, Tinker and Yank make their way back into the swamp heading for the brotherhoods compound.
They soon reach a place where they can go it on land,
tying off the boat they climb slowly down into the water and wade ashore.
Soon after they arrive at the outskirts of the compound,
scanning the area they see no signs of any life. Tinker and Yank, with crossbows loaded and ready, make their way down into the compound.
Moving from shed to shed checking each one for any
signs of life. They come upon the pit and look down inside, but
the pit is empty.
Moving to one of the larger out buildings they slowly open the door, inside they find Pierre, tied up lying on the dirt floor. Kneeling down they cut the ropes binding Pierre’s hands and feet. Pierre is barely conscious, badly dehydrated, his leg has turned gangrene.
Yank says, “We’ve got to get him to a hospital fast.” Yank pulls out his cell phone and checks for a signal; finally he
is able to make a call to search and rescue and requests a chopper be dispatched to their location.
Meanwhile back in town Cheri pulls into her driveway,
parking her van she gets out and runs to the front door. Upon
entering she finds Richard waiting in the kitchen at the table.
She places the bag of sandwiches on the table, Richard
reaches in and grabbing a burger starts devouring it like a crazed animal.
Cheri watches in shock as Richard sets and eats every one of the burgers within minutes. “Gee,” Cheri says, “I’m glad I wasn’t hungry.”
Richard realizing what he’s done apologizes.
“My God Cheri,” he says, “I don’t know what come over
me, I was so hungry.” Richard says, “I’ll run and pick up some
more sandwiches.”
Cheri says, “That’s ok, I’ve got to go pick up Megan at
Marie’s house, I’ll grab something for me and Megan while I’m out. Why don’t you go shower and climb into bed; you look exhausted sweetheart.”
Richard says, “That sounds like a good idea, I’ll see you when you get back.”
Cheri says, “Ok lover, you get some rest.”
Cheri heads out the door towards her van, wondering what the hell she just witnessed? That just isn’t like Richard,
something’s different about him, maybe he’s just stressed out over everything that’s taken place Cheri thinks as she starts her van and backs out of the driveway, and heads down the road towards Marie’s house.
Standing across the street is Lucifer, dressed in his old
favorites, his white suit and Panama hat, with silver wolfs head
cane in hand. He slowly makes his way across the street to
Richards house.
Upon entering he scans the rooms looking for Richard, then he hears the shower running and walks towards the bathroom. Standing in the doorway watching as Richard steps out of the shower.
Lucifer says, “Well, well, I see you’ve made your self right at home Mr. Devine.”
Richard, drying himself off, looks up and sees Lucifer
standing in the doorway. “What the hell are you doing here?”
Lucifer waves his cane in front of Richards’s eyes. Richard once more appears to be back in a trance like state. Richard calls out, “Dark Lord I’m here to serve.”
“Oh yes, I know dear boy. It’s getting close to that time,”
Lucifer says, “when I will ask you to perform that small task I’ve given you,” as a smile comes across his face. “You do remember Richard, what that small task is do you not?”
“Yes Dark Lord, I hear and obey,” Richard says.
An evil grin comes across Lucifer’s face as he says,
“Good, good, very good.” as he turns and walks out the door. As he does he turns and waves his cane before Richards’s face, as he disappears in a cloud of putrid smoke.
Richard stands watching as the smoke clears, then says, “I thought he’d never leave.” Pulling the towel off from around his neck he reaches down lifting his crucifix necklace he kisses it. Richard noticed that wearing his crucifix, Lucifer’s spell over him is severely weakened. Richard thinks to himself, ‘knowledge is power.’ Next he heads to the bedroom to get dressed.
After he gets dressed he realizes he doesn’t have much

time. He reaches down and opens a drawer of the bed side stand, pulling out the 9mm he removes the silver rounds wearing a pair of gloves, as to not burn his hands and replaces them with blanks. Replacing the pistol back in the drawer he heads for the den, turning on his computer he begins to scan the internet for information.
Finding what he was looking for he prints it off and stuffs it in his pocket. He then runs down stairs grabbing his gym bag as he heads out the door.
Getting into his Jeep he pulls out and heads
for the church. Once there he puts the Jeep in park and runs inside. Once inside he begins filling the vials from his gym bag with Holy water. Richard then stuffs them into his bag, as
he turns and heads back out to his Jeep, getting in he pulls away and heads back home.
Meanwhile across town a rescue chopper lands at New
Orleans hospital. As the rescue team rolls the gurney towards the emergency room doors, Tinker and Yank follow behind. The doctor in ER department takes one look at Pierre and says, “Let’s get this man to surgery immediately.”
As they roll Pierre into surgery, one of the trauma nurses instructs Tinker and Yank to wait outside, directing them to the surgery waiting room. Tinker heads for the courtesy phone and calls Marie to give her the news about Pierre.
Marie picks up the phone just as Cheri is coming in the front door. Marie says, “Cheri come here quick, Tinkers on the line; he’s at the hospital, they have Pierre, he’s having emergency surgery done.”
“Oh my God!” Cheri says, “What’s wrong with Papa?”
Marie says, “It’s his leg, Tinker thinks their going to have to take it, to save Pierre’s life.”
Cheri says, “Oh my God, tell him we’re on our way!”
Marie gives Tinker the message and hangs up the phone. Cheri takes Megan by the hand as Marie follows; they head out the door to the van and head for the hospital.
Cheri calls Richard once they arrive at the hospital and fills him in on what’s happening, as the surgeon comes into the waiting room.
The surgeon asks, “Is the Leblanc family here?”
Cheri speaks up, “Yes, yes, doctor over here.” The surgeon looks over and sees where they are seated and walks over taking a seat next to Cheri.
“Are you his daughter I presume?”
“Yes,” Cheri says, “and Mari
e here is Papa’s wife.”
“Well,” the surgeon says, “the good news is he came out of surgery just fine, we were able to stabilize him. He was terribly dehydrated, so we have him on fluids. Unfortunately we were not able to save his leg. We had to amputate just below the left knee. He’ll of course be fitted for an artificial limb, and with some proper therapy, he should be able to get by pretty well with it.”
“He’ll probably have to use a cane for awhile,” the doctor says, “till he gets his balance back. But other then that he’ll be just fine!”
“When can we see him doctor?” Cheri asks.
“Well he’s a little groggy right now as you can imagine, I’d say, give him about an hour, he should be awake enough then for visitors. But try to keep it two at a time though,” the doctor says, “and remember, your fathers been through a lot, so he’ll need plenty of rest and time to heal. Then we’ll get him
fitted for his new leg,” the doctor says smiling, as he turns and heads for another family across the room.
Cheri turns to Marie and says, “Why don’t you stay tonight Marie, they’ll probably arrange for you to have a cot in his room, once they move him. We’ll head home, come back later this evening.”
Marie says, “Ok, if you are sure you don’t mind?”
“Not at all,” Cheri says, as she takes Megan’s hand and walks towards the elevators. The elevator door opens and out steps Richard. “Come on Richard,” Cheri says, “I’ll fill you in on the elevator.”
Meanwhile in Lucifer’s hideaway, one of his demons
approaches him and asks, “So my Dark Lord, how is your plan
coming along?”
Lucifer smiles and says, “Wonderful, simply wonderful, my devious little servant. I have Mr. Devine just where I want him. And it won’t be much longer before I give him the signal; and stand by and watch, as he tears his little family into pieces.” Having said that, Lucifer lets out a diabolical laugh that echoes through his underworld.
