Sweetest Taste of Sin (Southern Sin)

Eight weeks later…
Logan rolled over in bed, arm outstretched for J.B. or Ant and met only cool sheets. Blinking because she never woke up alone, she sat up and glanced around the bedroom. The sky was just blushing with the first rays of sunrise, yet the shower was silent and the room was empty.
She frowned and scooted all the way across the bed until she hit the edge and could hop to the floor. When Ant said they’d needed a bigger bed, she’d thought he was joking, and the king size mattress he’d had was plenty for the three of them. But two days later this ginormous bed called a grand king arrived, courtesy of Ant. It was huge, and she’d thought for certain they’d end up having a lot of wasted space. That was until they’d ended up rolling across every inch of the bed. Well, she’d ended up rolling from one end to the other as they put her in positions that would’ve made a contortionist wince.
Logan barely even blushed at the memory because she’d loved every minute of christening their new bed. Falling asleep in the very center with Ant on one side of her and J.B. on the other was heaven on earth, and waking up to their kisses and slow caresses, or waking up to find herself being fucked hard and fast was a great way to start her day.
Which was why she was pretty pissed neither of them had awakened her. She groused as she shuffled to the bathroom, slamming the door behind her to take care of business. She couldn’t remember either of them saying they needed to get to work early today, or that they had plans to go fishing or something. Today marked two months since they’d solidified their relationship as a threesome and she’d wanted to spend the entirety of it in bed.
After slipping into one of the guys’ shirts, she brushed her teeth and thought how easily they’d slipped into their new life, as though it was completely natural. The guys didn’t seem jealous of each other, not in bed or out of it. They didn’t try to outdo each other in anything except giving her orgasms, and since Logan benefited from that, she wasn’t about to complain about it.
If her sisters thought it was a little weird that Ant took her to lunch more often than J.B., or that he called her several times during the day, they didn’t say anything. Ava was the only one who knew the full truth about Logan’s relationship with Ant and J.B. And her best friend heartily approved, even going so far as to go on “double” dates with them to take attention off of Logan being seen with both men all the time.
Logan wasn’t sure if she’d ever tell her family the truth, not certain how they’d take it, and she didn’t know if J.B. and Ant would ever tell their parents. For now, they were just enjoying the togetherness.
It wasn’t as though they were stuck up each others’ asses all the time. Logan worked her regular hours at the store. J.B. and Ant still went about the full-time job of keeping their family legacy thriving. Sometimes one or the other would miss dinner, come straggling in later, but, without fail, they slept together every night. Sometimes they took her together, driving her frigging insane until she screamed out their names. Sometimes she had them separately. And sometimes they just fell asleep.
It didn’t seem possible, but she loved them both even more now than ever. They weren’t hopeless romantics. Her men were blue-collar, rough and tough guys who loved her, football, red meat and beer. But it didn’t stop them from showing her how much they cared for her. It was in the little things they did, like checking her oil and chewing her ass out for not having it changed in six months. Or rubbing her feet when she had a busy day at the shop. Or holding her as she cried at some chick flick she forced them to watch, all without making fun of her.
They loved her, which meant they should have been in fucking bed with her when she woke up. Logan tossed her toothbrush in the holder and threw open the bathroom door, ready to hunt them down and chew them out for being such men.
And drew up short at the doorway to the bedroom. J.B. and Ant were in the room, sitting on the edge of the bed in identical positions. Elbows to their knees, hands clasped together, eyes on the bathroom door. They were both wearing their regular work clothes, a sight that set her blood to pumping for some reason. There was just something about those faded jeans, the plain, button-down work shirts and scuffed steel-toes they wore that made her horny. And that was before she got to their hats. Ant had on his customary Stetson, while J.B. wore his baseball cap. Two sets of smoky blue eyes, shadowed by brims, settled on her.
Her heart leapt, because for once they weren’t looking at her as though they couldn’t wait to strip her naked. They looked serious. Solemn. And there was a hint of apprehension in Ant’s eyes that wasn’t in J.B.’s. Logan’s stomach sank, because she’d known it was too good to be true. He wanted out. He thought she was another Emily, out to take them for everything they had. He was leaving them. She just knew it.
“Come here, baby,” J.B. ordered softly, holding out a hand to her.
Logan thought about refusing, of huddling in the doorway. Or hell, going back in the bathroom and locking the door. If she didn’t hear Ant saying he was leaving, it wouldn’t happen. It worked for Edward when he tried to hide in plain sight. Maybe it’d work for her too.
“Logan,” he said firmly, hand steady and safe.
She approached him slowly, her gaze darting back and forth between the men she loved with all her heart. Once she was within range, she reached out to take J.B.’s hand, almost running to him when he gave a gentle tug. But he didn’t pull her into his lap. Instead he sat her on the bed, right between him and Ant. She glanced at Ant, who was watching her, but his face was still carved in those tight lines.
Licking her lips, hoping she didn’t make a complete fool of herself and start wailing because it was all over, she sucked in a deep breath. Then pasted a small smile on her face and tried to bluff her way through it. “What’s going—Oh my god what are you doing?” she ended on a shriek when both J.B. and Ant knelt on the floor in front of her, holding small, square boxes in their hands.
It was J.B. who answered, the sexy smile that had captured her from the get-go on his face. “I think that’s obvious, babe. We’re giving you boxes to put your earrings in.”
“Fuckin’ things keep fallin’ off the dresser and I keep steppin’ on them on the way to the bathroom,” Ant added with a tight smile.
“It happened one time,” Logan shot back, her heart pounding with hope and fear and excitement.
“Hurt like a son-of-a-bitch though.”
She threw her hands up. “Fine, I’ll kiss it better.”
The heated glance he shot her through the thick fringe of his eyelashes combated the apprehension she’d felt at first seeing him. “That ain’t exactly where I want you to kiss me, sweetcheeks.”
“We’ll get to that in a second,” J.B. cut in, with a glare at his twin. Then he looked at Logan again, face serious. “We were gonna try to be romantic and take you out to dinner somewhere—”
“Buy you flowers, take you dancin’ or something,” Ant added.
J.B. picked up the thread again. “But that isn’t who we are. We’re rough guys, babe. Noisy, messy—”
“Hairy,” Ant butted in again. “We hate that society shit Mom loves so much. We like to drink beer. We like our woman wearin’ barely anything, to make it easier to get to her pus—”
J.B’s elbow found Ant’s ribs, cutting him off again. “She gets it. Fuck, man.” He shook his head at his brother and looked at Logan, who was doing her best not to start laughing hysterically. “We’re not perfect, but we’re both perfectly in love with you.”
At that, her laughter died and a warm glow set up shop in her chest. “I love you too. Both of you, so much,” she breathed.
That earned her sweet, sinful smiles from her men.
“We want to make it official,” Ant blurted, obviously anxious, something she found amusing and adorable, although she’d never tell him that. “We know when we do this for real it’ll be just to one of us, and that’ll happen soon, but right now we want to make our vows to you, Logan.”r />
She blinked at them. “Is this a marriage proposal?”
J.B. shot a glare at Ant. “Told you I should’ve done that part,” he muttered under his breath. He turned back to her. “Yes, this is a marriage proposal from both of us, babe. We love you, want to spend the rest of our lives making you happy, giving you babies and raisin’ ’em with you.”
He cracked open his box to show off a gorgeous, two-toned diamond ring. She’d never seen anything like it. The center diamond was round, set in a rose-colored twist that was dotted with even more diamonds and sat in a white gold band. Her heart did this strange clench in her chest, as he plucked the band from the velvet bed and slid it onto her left ring finger.
Not to be outdone, Ant opened his box, revealing a solid band of diamonds that seemed to catch fire in the light. He was a little slower in getting the ring out of the box, but finally did it, and if his fingers shook a little when he reached for her right hand, no one mentioned it.
“I love you,” was all he said, as he slid the band onto the ring finger of her right hand. He cleared his throat, his thumb playing with the jewelry a moment. “I can’t stand next to you, in front of our friends and family, and say the words but I want to say them now.” He looked up and met her gaze. “I take you to be my wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.” Then he gave her a little crooked smile. “If you say yes that is.”
Logan launched herself off the bed, throwing herself at him, tears streaming down her face. Her “yes” was muffled by his mouth, but he heard her all the same. Or maybe he understood her sheer happiness because he gave a huge sigh of relief, his arms tightening around her body as he kissed her socks off.
“Do I get one of those?” J.B. asked when the kiss went from happy and relieved to hot and carnal.
Ant released her and Logan threw herself at her other husband-to-be. “Yes, yes, yes,” she told him between the butterfly kisses she planted all over his face. The last one landed on his lips and he too took the kiss to an entirely different level.
Soon Logan found herself on the bed between her men, clothes gone, diamonds catching the early morning light as they pledged their hearts, bodies and souls to each other. It was how she’d planned to start her morning off and she was ecstatic, then orgasmic, as they gave her the sweetest taste of sin.
As they would for the rest of their lives.

Writing is how she gives the voices in her head a way out. They speak to her constantly wanting their stories told and she does her best to accommodate them. When she isn’t writing, working, or contemplating the complexities of the universe, she spends time gathering inspiration from her insane family, reads far more than any sane person would want to, and watches hot burly men chase an oblong ball all over a field.
