Suddenly Dirty (Dirty Texas #1)

by J. A. Low

‘Evan’s Roman Holiday’ is painted across the top of an article where grainy pictures of Evan and I kissing and laughing as we explore Rome sit underneath it. Fuck, someone followed us. Handing it back to Vanessa, I cringe. “Shit, I thought we were alone. I never saw anyone. How the fuck did they find us?”

Vanessa shrugs, “Those miserable fucks have far reaching tentacles, you never know who is on their pay roll.”

Last night was special, it was supposed to be just between Evan and me and now, now it’s splashed all over the gossip sites. “Fuck, is it bad?”

Vanessa just laughs, “Sweetie, no, it’s a big difference to the scandals I’m used to the boys pulling on me.”

“Shit, what are we going to do?”

“What are we going to do about what?” Evan’s serious voice surprises me from behind. I turn to see he is scratching his naked chest with his hand, dressed in some grey sweatpants.

“Your little tour of Rome was caught by a paparazzo last night.” Vanessa tells him.

  “Fuck, really?”

She nods and hands him her phone.

Evan flicks through the photos and smiles. “We looked like we were having fun,” he states, handing the phone back to Vanessa.

“That’s all you have to say about this. Why are you not freaking out? Because I am freaking.”

Evan chuckles, “I’m used to the intrusions. Am I pissed they found us? Yeah, I am but eventually they would have found out.”

“Want me to send out a press release letting them know you two are dating? That you request your privacy and that you are upset that your private moments were interrupted.”

  Evan nodded in agreement.

Vanessa gets right to work and starts tapping into her phone.

“So what, that’s it? You and I are out and proud now as a couple.”

  “Yeah is that a problem?”

Why am I the only one freaking out about this?

“The attention is going to be crazy Si, you’re the woman who has taken Evan Wyld off the market,” Vanessa adds.

Running my hands through my hair, I don’t think I’m ready for this, collapsing onto the couch I feel a little shell shocked.

“Hey, sweetheart, are you okay?” Evan looks at me with concern.

“It’s just …” I didn’t know how to respond, or what to even think. It all seems to be happening a little fast.

“Si, I promise it’s not going to be anything like what happened with Beau. I promise okay.” Vanessa says, squeezing my shoulder.

Those months of being hounded by the paparazzi after my break up with Beau were horrible. The things they did just to get a reaction out of me were uncalled for. The hurtful slurs they threw my way to get a photo of me crying were too much for me to handle at the time, and now I am dating a world famous rock star. What more are they capable of?

“Sienna, I promise I won’t let anything happen to you, okay sweetheart,” Evan comforts me, his lips kissing my forehead. “You and me, okay? You and me,” he continues, cupping my cheeks as he gently kisses my lips.

Leaving the boys behind at the hotel, Evan’s exhausted from our late night touring, he needed rest as he had another show to perform tonight. The girls and I decided another round of retail therapy was needed so I could forget about what was going on in the media. Yesterday I was able to walk out the front of the hotel without a single annoyance. Now there were paparazzi everywhere taking my photo. Sammy was there trying to shield me as we jumped into our limousine.

“Okay, now that is crazy,” I say, trying to catch my breath as Isla pops a bottle of champagne. I am definitely going to need some liquid courage to steady my nerves.

“The photos were pretty hot,” Derrick chimes in.

I shoot him a stare in annoyance.

“What? Oh come on Si, you two looked like a couple of sexy lovebirds. It was romantic and deliciously sexy too. Own it girl,” he proclaims, while offering me a glass of champagne which I drink all too quickly.

“Don’t be too hard on him Si. Evan told me that your shopping trip is on him today to make up for it.” Charlotte states.

I look at her, blinking in disblief. “No way, I can buy my own things.”

“Sorry no can do. He knew you would say that and he told me that you had no choice,” she says, shrugging and shaking her head at me like it was a done deal.

Pulling out my phone, I send Evan a text.

Sienna: You don’t need to buy me things, Evan.

Evan: I know, but I want to.

Sienna: Thank you but it’s too much and it doesn’t feel right.

Evan: Seriously, most women would jump at an all-expenses paid shopping trip.

Sienna: Yeah, probably but that’s not me, I can afford my own things.

Evan: Fine you can buy your own things but I am just going to get Charlotte to buy you stuff.

  This man is seriously frustrating.

  Sienna: Fine you win.

Evan: That’s my girl. Now have fun, I have to get my beauty rest.

Throwing my phone back into my bag, I start to laugh.

Opening the door to the boys’ dressing room, I stop in my tracks as I see a gorgeous Italian woman interviewing Evan. Her large breasts are pressed hard against his arm, her chocolate eyes looking at Evan like she is going to devour him. She’s flirting with him, her false eyelashes are fluttering at an alarming rate and she keeps touching his arm. The sound of the door opening catches Evan’s attention and the smile I get from him makes everything else I see melt away.

I can tell from Evan’s blue eyes that he appreciates what I am wearing. Most of the girls try so hard with the short skirts that leave nothing to the imagination. They don’t know you can still look sexy and not have everything flashing; maybe someone needed to tell the Italian interviewer that. Tonight I went for a classic Dior tuxedo suit that hugged my curves perfectly, the plunging neckline showed off my cleavage. As much as I would love to go braless my breasts need that extra lift, so I indulged in more Agent Provocateur lingerie. That was all I allowed Evan to buy for me. Underneath my jacket, you can see the start of my black lace bra.

“Thank you that will be all,” Evan says to the interviewer dismissing her.

Turning to me, he tries for a compliment, “Sienna, you look … fuck, you’ve just made my dick hard.”

My cheeks flush instantly. “Ssshhh, people can hear you.”

Ignoring me, he captures my mouth in a passionate kiss. “I don’t care. People need to know you are mine,” he continues, his hands roaming over the satin of my suit.

My eyes look over to where the Italian interviewer is now packing up; she is most definitely sending daggers my way.

“Pretty sure it’s the other way around. People need to know you’re mine; your interviewer was pretty much dry humping your leg.”

Evan bursts out laughing. “You sound jealous, sweetheart.”

I roll my eyes at him.

He takes my chin, holds me in place and says, “I didn’t even notice her. She can try but you have to remember, you have ruined me for all other women.” Then his lips capture mine in a soft, sensual kiss. We finally come up for air when we hear a throat being cleared.

“Thank you for the interview, Evan, I think our readers will enjoy it.” The Italian beauty says.

Evan is still holding me around the waist.

“Hope you enjoy the concert.” I add.

Ignoring me, she smiles at Evan. I notice the subtle way she pushes her tits out hoping to get his attention, but when Evan turns to me and whispers something dirty in my ear, she gets the message and leaves with her camera man. Finally, we are alone in the room. Evan locks the door.

“Now, sweetheart, let me see what’s hidden underneath your suit. You have been teasing me with every movement. I get a glimpse of your luscious tits and black lace; you know I am a sucker for lace.”

I giggle as I unbutton my jacket letting it fall t
o the floor.

Evan groans as he takes in my black lace bra, his fingers brush my nipples through the lace.

“Do you have any idea how much I want to fuck you right now?”

I moan loudly as he rubs my nipple with his fingers.

I’m startled by the hard knock at the door.

“Stop banging your chick, we have a fucking concert,” Christian hollers, making me laugh.

I can see from Evan’s expression that Christian has pissed him off.

I distract him by moving in closer to him, running my hand down his t-shirt covered chest until I reach his denim clad cock giving it a squeeze.

“I’ll be waiting for you backstage, ready to undress you. Now go out there and rock the shit out of this place.” I say, slapping his ass and making him chuckle.

After three months of travelling through Europe, we are now back in London, the last concert being played to a sold out crowd. The boys made an announcement the other day that they would be taking a break from touring for a while. It sent the fans crazy; the band reassuring them that they would be back very soon. Vanessa has organised a huge after party to celebrate the end of the tour and so many people are trying to get tickets to it.

  ***

“Cheers, you bastards to another tour well done and to never having to see your ugly mugs ever again,” Vanessa jokes, as we all clink our glasses together in celebration. “Shit does that mean you are going to be home all day, every day?” Vanessa asks Christian.

“Sure thing, Queen V. You will finally have me to yourself every single day. I know how much this idea gets you all excited,” Christian says, giving her a kiss on the cheek, making us all laugh.

“Ness, we want to ask you something,” Axel says, looking serious.

The group stops for a moment, all eyes on Vanessa and Axel.

“We were wondering if you would like to be the new PR director for Dirty Texas Records?”

“You want me to run the PR for your label?”

The boys all nod in unison to Vanessa’s question.

She looks at each of them in shock and begins to cry. Silently, tears run down her face. Ness crying is very rare.

“Hey Ness, no, please don’t cry. Why are you upset, sweetheart?” Christian comforts, while wrapping his arms around her. The other boys look on with worried expressions.

“There is no one else in the world we would trust. You’re family, Ness, and family sticks together,” Axel states, matter-of-factly.

Vanessa’s green eyes look up at him her face lights up with a huge smile “Hell yeah, let’s do this,” she says through her tears. The table erupts into cheers.

The club is filled with London’s hipsters, A-listers, maybe even some European royals thrown in for good measure. The who’s who were after tickets to tonight’s party, especially when they realized Dirty Texas were taking a break, people were going crazy to get close to them tonight.

Evan and I are dancing, he has me wrapped in his arms; his cheeks are red from the alcohol he has been drinking. Leaning into my ear, he whispers to me, “I love you, Sienna.” Everything stops. I sobered up quickly and stare at him. “Fuck, sorry that wasn’t meant to come out. Shit, it’s probably too soon,” Evan stumbles, the panic on his face evident and very cute.

Giving Evan a quick kiss, I respond, “I have feelings for you too, Evan.”

Pressing his finger against my lip, he silences me. “No need to say anything. I know how you feel and I can’t wait for the day that you say those words back to me.”

I smile back at him and think, fuck, I am lucky. This man loves me and all I want to do is shout how I feel from the rooftops. “You won’t have to wait long, I promise.” I tell him, pulling him into a heated kiss.

“That’s all I need to know – that the possibility is there,” he says, as we continue moving our bodies to the beat. “Stay with me in LA.”

“You want me to live with you?” I question, my heart racing. Shit, this all seems to be moving so quickly.

“Sienna, we have been living with each other over the past three months, I think that’s long enough. Plus I’m much better company than Christian and Vanessa.”

He had a point, looking at him I smiled. “Yes.”

This felt like a huge step in our relationship. Every single day and night we have spent together over the past three months have been wonderful. What could go wrong with moving in together?

“I need to take a piss, I’ll be right back,” Evan so eloquently tells me, leaving me alone on the dance floor. Watching as he disappears into the crowd, feeling buzzed, I start to dance to the music on own because I know he won’t be long. A couple songs later I feel hands wrap around my waist and I melt into his chest.

“I forgot how nice it was having you in my arms.” The male voice whispers into my ear.

Pushing myself away, I turn around. I am paralyzed to see Beau staring back at me. What the fuck! I shake my head in disbelief. Seriously how much have I had to drink?

“Hey Sisi, you look good,” Beau smiles, his eyes looking at me, appreciating what he saw.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” I question him, my eyes darting around the room hoping that Evan doesn’t walk over, because I’m pretty sure he would punch Beau in the face if he sees him.

“I had nowhere else to go; everything is fucked up,” he says, hanging his head. As he looks back up at me, I notice the black bags under his eyes. Looks like Beau has lost weight as well. Hang on, why the hell is he in London and not at home with his wife and baby? I don’t understand.

“You have two seconds to fuck off before I call security. Go home to your family you’re not welcome here.”

Hearing my comments, Beau takes a step back like I had punched him. I can see my words have hurt him but I didn’t care. My life is finally getting back on track. I don’t need my ex-husband coming in and fucking everything up. We are over; we have been for over six months. There is nothing more to say.

“The baby isn’t mine.” Beau confesses.

Everything stops, the lights in the club start to blur, I can feel my throat closing up. I need air, it’s too damn crowded on the dance floor. Pushing myself through the crowd away from Beau, I finally make it off the dance floor, the cool air hitting my face. I feel someone behind me, Beau starts talking again.

“I’m sorry to spring this on you; I have no one else to talk to. Everything I thought I knew wasn’t true. My whole life is one big fuck up.” Beau is on the verge of tears as he rakes his hands through his blonde hair.

Seriously, this cannot be happening to me right now.

Placing his hand on my arm, he whispers, “Please Sisi, I just need to talk to you.”

Pulling my arm away, I yell, “There’s nothing you can say to me Beau that will change a thing.” I see the hurt and anguish in his eyes and I am trying hard not to give a fuck but ten years of loving and caring for someone is hard to wipe away, especially when they are standing in front of you.

“Can we get out of here and talk?” He asks, giving me a hopeful smile.

“No, Beau, I’m here with my boyfriend,” I respond in a harsh tone. He tenses at the mention of my boyfriend.

“That’s right, Evan Wyld.” Beau laughs. “Who knew you would end up with your hall pass?” He says, shaking his head as if he couldn’t believe it.

“I’m sorry, Beau, I just can’t,” I state, wrapping my arms around my body to try and protect myself from him.

“Please, just coffee, I just need to talk. Things are about to happen in Australia. I just want to tell you first before it’s splashed all over the papers.”

Huh, now my heart is thundering in my chest, sweat prickling my skin. What is he talking about? Pulling out a scrap of paper he hands it to me.

“Here is my London info. I’m staying with Angus over in Chelsea. I’m going to be there for a while. Please, if you could just give me a moment then I promise I won’t bother you ever again. I need to talk to you Sisi.”r />
Clutching the paper in my hand, the desperation in Beau’s voice was worrying.

“Okay, I’ll meet you tomorrow around 11 am at Angus’ house.” I had a feeling I was doing something wrong here by agreeing to see him but I was curious at what was going on and why he is so desperate to see me.

Leaning over Beau gives me a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you, Sisi. You’re looking good by the way.” Then he disappears into the night effectively putting an end to my happy mood.

  ***

Evan was still sleeping when I left the hotel. I know I should have told him but what could I say. Oh hey, my ex-husband just randomly turned up and needs to talk to me and I think I should go. Fuck, Evan would have a heart attack, probably hunt Beau down and give him some sort of warning. Hopefully, I will be back before he wakes up. He doesn’t need to know, not yet anyway, unless something serious is going to happen. I’m hoping it will be fine. I look around and make sure there is no paparazzi about as I step into the London black cab. Looking behind me making sure no one is following me, seeing nothing out of the ordinary but I still can’t relax. The last thing I need is photo’s of Beau and I together.

Ringing the doorbell of the Chelsea mansion, Beau opens the door with a relaxed smile on his face.

“You came,” he says, looking surprised. Yeah, I am surprised I am here as well.

  “I’m still wondering why.”

Beau’s been around me long enough to realize I am not happy.

“I’ve got coffee and some doughnuts in the kitchen.”

He’s trying to sweeten me up with two of my favorite things.

We make our way towards the kitchen where he walks over to the fancy espresso machine and hits a couple of buttons. It starts making coffee.

“Bet Angus is happy to see you again. It’s been years since you caught up with him.”

Fixing my coffee, he remembers the way I like it; milk no sugar.

“Yeah, he was very surprised when I turned up on his doorstep.”

“Yep, I know the feeling,” I say, with sarcasm, while taking a sip of the coffee. I give him a stern look over the edge of the mug, just so he knows I’m angry with him.
