What the hell is he up to now?

“People, thank you for coming on such a short notice.” The leader said. “I called this meeting because, we need to install two more gravity killing machines here.”

“What happened to the first one?” One of the men asked.

“That one went offline today. And we need to destroy the gravity completely.” The leader said.

What the? Is he really out of his mind?

Frank couldn’t believe what he is hearing. No animals would survive this? Why there is a heaven if there are no animals in it?

  Suddenly Frank’s radio beeped.

  “134, do you copy?”

  “Yes, I copy you.”

“You’re right. The alien threat is real.” Frank was waiting for this call. Now, it’s time to end this fucking play for good. Frank drew out his revolver and he stood up.

  Chapter 39 – Olivia

  Somewhere in Wyoming

Olivia ran faster, leaping through the air at inhuman speed. Since gravity is low, they could run faster than they normally could. William and Jeb closely followed her.

The spacecraft is moving at a moderate speed and it is moving in the north direction. Before long they exited the city and entered into a desolated road whose both sides are filled with small hilly area. There are no trees nearby and everything is in silence.

Then Olivia saw a few dozens of dead birds floating in the air here and there on both sides of the road. All the dead birds are small. It must be difficult for the small birds to fly in the low gravity. From somewhere nearby, a sharp bark of a dog came.

Suddenly sky got filled with black clouds and lightning bolts crawled through the sky at incredible speed. A moment later, rain drops started to fall. First the rain just showered at the survivors, then the rain got stronger, drenching the survivors in rain water.

Olivia and her team stopped for a moment and they analysed the sky. The spacecraft disappeared behind a black cloud.

  “Now what?” Jeb asked.

“It is still going in the north direction.” William said. “Their base must be in the north.”

  Olivia and Jeb nodded.

They continued their run. The rain got stronger and stronger. On the road, small puddles of rain water formed here and there. And a strong cold wind blew from north.

A moment later, a gas station came into view.

“Guys, let’s stay inside the convenience store until the rain is over.” Olivia said pointing at a convenience store nearby.

William and Jeb nodded. They quickly galloped towards the store. Before long, they reached near the store. Olivia opened the door and they got inside. Suddenly they froze. In front of them, on the floor, sits a dozens of soldiers in their military fatigues.

The soldiers looks very tired. They stared at Olivia and her team. Then Olivia saw a puddle of blood on the floor. She searched for the origin of the blood and the horror struck her. The soldiers aren’t alive. They all are dead. They all are staring into the void with open eyes.

Olivia crouched down on the floor and she analysed the situation. Then she saw bullet holes on the soldiers’ chest and stomach. They all lost a great amount of blood. Then she saw bullet holes on the shelves and on the glass walls. There are hundreds of bullet shells scattered on the floor here and there.

Olivia bit her lip and she swallowed the emerging panic. William and Jeb went near another aisle and they took water bottles from the shelves. Olivia went near William and she too took a water bottle. She quickly sipped the water.

“It’s very cold.” Olivia said. A cold wind blew towards them through the bullet holes on the walls. Outside, trees around the gas station swayed in the wind.

William and Jeb said nothing. They just nodded and they emptied their water bottles. They have seen enough death already. The view of blood churned Olivia’s belly. Poor soldiers, poor people. These terrorists certainly are a big threat. Even the military failed stop them.

God, is this enough for you?

  Chapter 40 – Edward

  Somewhere in Wyoming

“Alien?” Edward couldn’t believe what he is hearing.

How is this possible? How could Tracy can be an alien? The terrorists are not kidding. Something is not right about Tracy too. It is then Edward looked at Tracy carefully. She indeed looks like a human, but she is not showing any fear.

“Talk who you are, bitch.” A nearby terrorists poked Tracy in her head using the assault rifle’s barrel. Tracy remained silent. “She is not talking, man.” The terrorists worriedly said to other terrorists.

Then a tall terrorist came out of a nearby room. All other terrorists made a path for the man to pass. But, no one withdrew their trained rifles.

“Who are you, kid?” The tall man asked Tracy. Tracy still remained silent.

Suddenly, the tall man punched Tracy in her left cheek.

“Ahh ...” Tracy screamed as the tall man’s fist met her soft cheek. Then everyone witnessed the wonder. As Tracy’s head swayed to the side due to the impact of the tall man’s fist, a kind of transparent head projected out of Tracy’s head. There is a transparent alien body merged with Tracy, or that projection of a head would never have occurred. As Tracy’s vision returned, the projection of the transparent head retracted into her head.

Edward, Carter, Jan, Jim and the terrorists for a moment stared at Tracy with complete horror.

“Take a rope.” The tall terrorist announced.

A moment later a terrorist came outside a nearby room with a rope. The tall man quickly restrained Tracy’s hands and legs to the chair. He also forced Edward and Edward’s team to move to a side.

Edward and his team stared at the scene, trying to anticipate what is about to happen.

“Talk, bitch.” The tall man said.

Tracy remained silent. Suddenly the tall man drew out a revolver from his side holster. He, without thinking further, trained the barrel at Tracy’s left palm and he pulled the trigger.

  Pop!

  “Ahh ...”

Suddenly, a beam of light escaped from the bullet hole. Then blood pour out from Tracy’s palm.

“Talk.” The tall man trained the gun at her other palm.

“Okay, okay. I am talking.” Tracy finally said.

“Who are you?” The tall man asked.

  Tracy suddenly giggled.

“What’s so funny, bitch?” The tall man asked.

“I can imagine what you will become after this is all over.” Tracy said, still giggling.

“I won’t ask again. Talk.” The tall man said.

“Okay, big guy. I will talk. And I will let you know about us.” Tracy or what was in her body said. “We are coming from another galaxy.”

“When did you arrived here?” The tall man asked.

Tracy again giggled. “You really want to know? Well, we were here for eons, big guy.” Then Tracy stopped laughing. “We made you guys. We are your god. We are your creators. And, you, pathetic little life forms are our robots.”

A chill surged through Edward’s spine. She is not kidding. She is in fact dead serious about this.

“And that’s not all.” Tracy continued. “We made you terrorists, to cut down your number to a negligible amount for all of us to drive you. You’re our creations. The harvest is almost finished. Remove the restraints, or you all are going to die here.”

“You talk like you shit.” The tall man trained the gun at Tracy’s head and he pulled the trigger.

  Pop!

A white coloured light beam escaped from Tracy’s head and her head fell to a side to never to rise again. Then blood poured out from her head.

“Kill them all.” The tall man commanded.

  Chapter 41 – Jonathan

  Somewhere in Oregon

Jonathan and his team waited in that building for hours for the sun to set. As the sun began to set, terrorists outside thinned o
ut.

“Okay, guys. You guys stay here. I am going in that building.” Jonathan said pointing at a nearby building.

  “Okay, stay safe.” Josephine said.

Jonathan nodded. He didn’t waited further. He galloped out of the room. Jonathan quickly reached the staircase. Before long he climbed down the staircase. Jonathan then slowly peeked at the nearby street from the corner of a building. There is only one terrorists nearby. Then Jonathan saw a light coming from a nearby building. Other terrorists might be inside that building.

Jonathan trained his sniper rifle at the terrorist on the street and he pulled the trigger. The silenced shot quickly took the life of the terrorist. Jonathan quickly galloped his way towards the lighted building. The light must be candle light or solar light.

Before long, Jonathan reached the ground level of the lighted building. He quickly unstrapped his back pack and he took flash grenades from it. He quickly armed the grenades and he threw them inside the building. As soon as all the grenades are inside, Jonathan ran away from near that building.

  Boom! Boom! Boom!

Ground shook as the grenades exploded. No screams came, but, the ground floor of the building partially collapsed. Jonathan quickly hauled himself inside a nearby building and he trained his sniper rifle at the crumbled building. A moment later, terrorists rushed outside the crumbled building.

Jonathan trained his rifle and he pulled the trigger. The low pitch sound of gun shots filled inside the building, followed by a series of screams from outside. Five terrorists went down with a short yelp. One terrorist is struggling in the ground with a chest wound.

“There ...” One terrorist said pointing at Jonathan’s direction. Suddenly sun fully set and everywhere plunged in darkness. But, in the moon light everything is clearly visible.

Five silhouette of terrorists approached Jonathan. Jonathan trained the gun and he pulled the trigger, but the gun was empty. It’s too late to feed the gun with a fresh magazine. He took his side arm and he pulled the trigger.

  Pop! Pop! Pop!

One terrorist went down. Suddenly, all other terrorists opened fire at Jonathan. Jonathan ran towards the back door, firing all the way.

Before long, Jonathan got outside the building through the back exit door. Suddenly a bullet struck on his leg.

  “Ahh ...”

Jonathan somehow hauled himself to the street. Then he saw it. All the four terrorists came outside the building. Jonathan can’t move. He suddenly stumbled down on the street. He quickly somehow sat on the ground and he trained his revolver at the approaching terrorist and he pulled the trigger. But the gun was empty.

  “Shit ...” Jonathan muttered.

“Where do you think you’re going, bastard?” One of the terrorists asked.

  “God ...” Jonathan again muttered.

  Chapter 42 – Frank Chester

  Somewhere in Chicago

  The leader stared at Frank.

“134, do you have anything to say?” The leader asked.

All other men and women in the room stared at Frank.

“I am relieving you from your duty, sir.” Frank aimed his gun and he pulled the trigger.

  Pop! Pop! Pop!

The leader ducked behind the table.

  Pop! Pop! Pop!

Frank again pulled the trigger. Suddenly a man came from behind Frank and he shoved the mouth of a revolver at the back of Frank’s head.

“Drop the gun.” The man yelled.

Frank obeyed. He dropped his gun.

The leader stood up. “So, you’re the mole?” The leader asked. “I never thought I would see one in my team. Why did you made the gravity killing machine offline?”

“I would say no shit to you.” Frank said. “People, he is not our leader. He is an alien. I got a confirming call from Wyoming. These aliens are the one who is destroying the gravity. They will kill all of us.”

“Are you out of your mind, 134?” The leader giggled. “Are you expecting these people to believe in your stupid mad story?” Leader then seriously looked at others. “People, I have seen this before. This is a sickness. When I was in Afghanistan, one of my guard tried to kill me. He also said the similar story. The CIA and KGB are the one behind this. We have to stay strong.”

Frank smiled. “I know what you are, bitch. You won’t get away with this.”

The leader smiled. “Put him under quarantine before he infect others. Our doctor will be here tomorrow. He will analyse 134.”

Two men came forward and they pushed Frank to move. Frank wriggled violently as the men started to restrain Frank using a plastic wire.

“I am coming for you, bitch.” Frank yelled. The men quickly hauled Frank outside the meeting room and they put him in a nearby room, and they locked the door from outside.

“Let me out, you bitches. He will kill all of us.” Frank knocked on the door using his tied hands. Then Frank started to kick the door.

A few moments later Frank sat on the cold floor, feeling defeated. He need to get out of here before it’s too late. He hopes that 123 and 135 would come to his rescue. 123 and 135 are the only ones here who also believes in Frank’s theory. If he could somehow confirm that the leader is indeed an alien he have a slight chance of getting out of this alive, to live in the new heaven.

He should have anticipated this earlier. He should have killed the leader as soon as the gravity went to shit. Now the shit struck the fan and he has to fight his way out.

Before long, the room plunged in darkness. Frank slowly closed his eyes and he thought hard for a way out.

  Chapter 43 – Olivia

  Somewhere in Wyoming

Before long the rain stopped and the sky cleared. Olivia and her team quickly exited the convenience store and they again continued their journey. In the horizon, sun began to set, casting long shadows everywhere. A few minutes later, big mega story buildings began to appear in a distance. The city is near!

Olivia pushed forward. They quickly reached inside the city. They cautiously moved through the streets. Suddenly a loud chatter came from the north. Olivia and her team stuck to the shadows of the buildings and they moved towards the sound of chatter.

A few minutes later they saw the origin of the sound. A dozens of terrorists are on the streets and they are talking and enjoying their time.

“What should we do?” Jeb whispered.

“We will stay inside this building.” William said. “At night, we can search around the place.”

Olivia and Jeb nodded. They quickly got inside the nearby building. Before long they started climbing a set of stairs. They stood in a higher level and they peered outside through the glass windows. The terrorists are still down there. A few minutes later, sun fully set in the horizon and everywhere plunged in darkness. But, everything is faintly visible in the moon light. There aren’t much clouds in the sky and the surrounding is in extreme silence.

Olivia and her team waited a few more minutes. Then, when the terrorists disappeared from the streets, they exited the building and approached the nearby terrorist base. There is some kind of light coming out of the base. Then Olivia heard Mrs John’s scream. She is still alive.

Olivia and William trained their guns into a distance and they approached the building. Jeb closely followed them behind. Before long, they entered inside the building. Then they saw it. Through the partially opened nearby door, they saw Mrs John strapped into a table. A few terrorists are around Mrs John and they are talking about something. Mrs John continued to scream. She is pleading at the terrorists to let her go.

William motioned at Olivia to follow him. They quickly reached near the door. There aren’t anyone nearby. William slowly opened the door widely. The terrorists haven’t set their eyes on William yet.

Suddenly Olivia stood in the doorway, training her gun at the terrorists. Then she pulled the trigger.

The assault rifle rocked in her hands. All the terrorists
quickly went down. Others must have heard the sound of gunfire. William quickly removed Mrs John’s restraints.

  “William,” Mrs John said.

“Mom, did they hurt you?” William asked.

  “No, son.”

  “Let’s go now.” Olivia said.

They quickly exited the room and they galloped towards the streets.

  Pop! Pop! Pop!

Suddenly gunfire came from behind them. And Jeb fell down with a bullet hole on the back of his head.

“No!" William screamed and he fired at the approaching terrorists. Terrorists hid behind a wall and they fired at William.

“Come on.” Olivia grabbed William’s hand and she hauled him outside. Mrs John is in the front line and she haven’t seen her son’s death, yet.

Before long, they got outside. Suddenly they froze. A group of terrorist surrounded them. A moment later, a spacecraft landed on the streets and a dozens of terrorists approached Olivia and her team.

Something is pretty off about these terrorists. Olivia could clearly see their white coloured suit in the light coming from the spacecraft. Surprisingly these terrorists could walk like there is no problem with the gravity.
