Jet after jet of cum spilled over Shane’s hand as Tony continued to whine and whimper. Finally, when there wasn’t any more left, Shane let go of Tony’s cock. He put his hand flat against Tony’s belly, holding him pressed tightly against Shane’s body, and proceeded to pound into that squeezing quivering hole. All too soon Shane felt his balls pull tight and his orgasm overtake him, sending him into paradise.

Collapsing on top of Tony, Shane was glad Tony wasn’t small or delicate, because he wasn’t moving anytime soon.

“Hey, big guy.” Tony’s finger poked into his side. “We better get going. The meeting is starting soon.”

“You know I love you, right? I might not have said it before, but I do.” Shane wasn’t much into mushy words, but for Tony, he would try harder.

Tony turned his head and smiled. Shane reaffirmed his thoughts on trying harder if that was the look he received in return.

“I love you, too,” Tony said.

  “Then we’re good?” he asked.

“We’re more than good. Now get off.” Tony’s smile was even wider and Shane was even more dazzled, until Tony poked him in the ribs again.

Shane managed to flop over onto his back. Lifting his head, he watched as Tony got out of the bed and headed for the bathroom. He admired the muscles playing over his back and legs as he walked away. Shane’s cock gave a valiant twitch as he watched that still-pink bubble butt flex with each step. Here and there were the bruising marks of their loving and his claiming of his territory. All too soon his peep show ended and he knew it was time to get up and start the day.

  Chapter Twelve

Cade watched as his employees and their partners entered his office and took seats around his giant desk. He had asked that everyone be there because this concerned them all and they were all his family.

Looking at them, he was happy to see the glow of love radiating off of each of them. Every team member was connected physically in some way to his partner whether they were holding hands or had a hand on a shoulder or back. He also was amused by the swollen lips and bruises on their necks they all seemed to sport. His family had chosen their partners well.

“All right, everyone, it’s time to begin. I asked you all a couple of weeks ago to think about what you saw for the future of Rescue for Hire. I’ve talked to each of you and asked you to think about what you wanted to change or not change about your position in the company.”

“Let’s go over the options one more time.” Cade continued, “We can do nothing and go on as before. We can turn more toward the education sector or we can form a new team with those who want to go on and hire a few new men. Or we can create a combination of them all.”

Cade paused to see if anyone would speak up. He knew who would be the first to jump in.

“Well, I have to say that I’m not ready to quit the field,” Treb stated. “If you want to build a facility to hold training or ship us off somewhere to train other units, I’ll go. But, I would rather keep rescuing people. Hell, I managed to not kill anybody this whole year.”

Everyone chuckled, and then Tony spoke up. “I, too, like what I’m doing. If you decide to go toward the training part or hiring us out for certain jobs, I’ll do it, but I would rather keep with the rescues.

Alex was next. “I love the tracking portion of my job. So far my hip has been holding up to the heavy physical demands. If you decide to go in the education direction, that’s fine. I’ve been thinking about setting up a dog training center for a while now. But I would prefer to keep rescuing, while we look for a new tracker or someone who wants to learn to track. Then I could take the time to train him in the techniques of tracking during our operations. By the time that person is fully trained I may be ready to pull back.”

“I, too, love rescuing people,” Jack stated. “But I have two little girls and a wonderful partner that depends on me. My continuing to teach recertification and field trauma would be a good fit for me if we decided to go in the facility direction. If that is put on hold, I would then propose also looking for someone to take over my position with rescuing and the medical side. I could still continue to rescue until that person is fully trained. Then I would like to keep teaching recertification and be in charge of maintaining the equipment. That portion of the company is becoming a full-time job and it would keep me closer to home.”

“What about you, Damian? What is your opinion?” Cade asked.

“I would like to still be your pilot. I would also like to train more myself and take on a bigger part of rescuing people in the field with the team when the opportunity arises. If you decide to go into the education direction, I would be happy to train pilots in helicopter rescue.”

“All right then, everyone has given their opinion and now I would like to give you mine.” Cade paused, trying to choose his words wisely.

“As you know, I had called Shane way before the accident to come and help with the company. In the last few years we have all been changing and our lives are evolving in really good ways. Then the accident happened and it has made my original idea a final decision.

“I will no longer be going out into the field with the team. I will remain running the business portion of the company and being the boss. Shane will be the leader, or as you call him the commander, of all of you.” Cade paused, giving all of them a moment.

“This is what I think we should do if all of you agree. I will start the process of finding a few new people. Obviously tracking and medical are on top of the list, but the world is changing and we need to add a few more specialty skills to the rescues. When the new team or teams are up and running smoothly, we’ll start the process of building a new facility. The team we have now, Jack, Treb, Alex, Tony, Shane, and Damian, will be the inner circle and your official title will be executive. You will be in charge of your section of specialty. This is going to be a slow process, probably years until the first permit for the building will be applied for. This is what I’ve been thinking,” Cade said. “Now tell me what you think.”

There were a few moments of everyone contemplating everything Cade had said.

  “I’m in,” Treb stated.

  “Me, too,” Alex responded.

  Tony was next. “Sounds good.”

  “I like it,” Jack replied.

“It’s a good plan,” Damian agreed.

“I think we’re all in agreement, brother.” Shane looked at Cade, their eyes meeting in satisfaction.

“Okay then, that’s settled. We will continue our weekly meetings and you can let me know if you have any other ideas. Now let’s go out to the back deck and have a beer in celebration.”

  Epilogue

Cade couldn’t believe how time had flown. He was in his forties now and the contractors had finally given him the keys to the finished building that would continue his dream of helping people with Rescue for Hire.

Looking around the deck at the party that was in full swing, Cade couldn’t help reflect on how he and his team of the first original four members of his chosen family had evolved.

He watched as Jack gave his sweet Pip a kiss before he ran out into the yard and was tackled by his brood of five children. The twins, Bella and Tina, had been joined by two more girls and, thank goodness, a boy. They had found a gem of a surrogate mother.

Joining in the rough-and-tumble pile of arms and legs were Alex and Leo’s little boy and girl. They had also decided on taking the surrogate route.

Treb was standing by the deck railing, taking a drink of his beer while pointing out something in the woods to a teenager whose black skin glowed with good health and happiness. Treb had come across the boy when he had been a small child who was being bullied and abused. Treb and Damian had taken him in and eventually adopted him. Now he was a fine young man learning how to fly from Damian, and had many of Treb’s self-defense skills under his belt.

Tony and Shane didn’t have any children. Tony’s nieces and nephews were in and out of Uncle Tony and Uncle Shane’s house co
nstantly. Sometimes Cade felt Tony had enough to handle with his possessive, domineering brother. And Shane loved showing Tony he was his and completely adored. On the occasions when Tony’s temper decided to kick in, it was one hell of a show to watch.

Cade watched as his Bret made his way through the throng of people with their youngest on his hip. Little Maria was almost two and she had decided that she needed to be in Bret’s or Cade’s arms at all times.

Maria was one of six children Cade and Bret had adopted. Their boisterous clan consisted of every color in the rainbow. Bret made sure each knew about and had special items of their heritage, but the bottom line was they were a united family of one. Cade wasn’t sure if the two-year-old was their last. It didn’t really matter. If more children in need came their way, that was fine with him.

  Life was good.
