Scerior

Kylie sat cuddled into him with her eyes closed; “Now you promised to tell us what happened today!”
“It was nothing, little one, a few Xenorii probing our defences. All are dead apart from two who will be interrogated as to why, after all these years, they have dared to set foot on Scerior”.
“But Acorus, I know you are hurt, you’re moving stiffly. Are you sure you’re okay?” asked Kylie.
“Of course I am. Now I’m going to take you to bed and cuddle you all night”. At that Acorus stood up, turned to Julie and Jo and said “Time for bed, for you too as well. See you in the morning” and he carried Kylie through to her bedroom.
Jo looked at Julie, “He’s so gentle with her!”
Julie said “Yes, they have an amazing relationship. She loves him like a child. Well I’m off to bed. See you tomorrow Jo, goodnight”.
Jo sat there by herself, not knowing why she felt so put out. She didn’t want him in her bed, no way, so why did she feel jealous.
Chapter 7
Jo tossed and turned all night. She couldn’t get the picture of Kylie curled up in Acorus’ arms out of her head. When her Escorii’s entered in the morning they exclaimed at seeing her sitting in a chair.
“You’re up already, Jo!” Tsu said “We thought you would be late waking after last night. We were told about the singing and dancing, you must have enjoyed yourselves very much”.
Jo sighed “Yes we had a blast”.
“You seem very unhappy today Jo” Tsu queried “What is wrong?”
“Apart from being kidnapped, taken to an alien planet, raped, and being told that that is my life from now on, there’s not a thing wrong” snapped Jo.
Tsu stepped back in surprise and Tchu and Tjai came to join her, standing in front of Jo. Tchu asked in a perplexed way “But we thought that after meeting Kylie and Julie and also talking to Lady Ileya you would feel happier”.
Jo looked at them in exasperation. Did they really not understand how awful this situation was for her? Before she could reply, the bedroom door opened and Acorus entered.
He stood there, taking in the scene in front of him. What he saw made him frown. Jo was sitting in a chair looking furious and the Escorii were standing in front of her looking uncomfortable. He moved into the room and said, “You ladies may leave us, please. Jo and I have unfinished business!”
Tsu looked from him to Jo and appeared about to say something, but Tchu looked at her and shook her head. Together they left the room, leaving Jo once again at the mercy of Acorus.
He was still wearing the Kaftan he had worn the night before, and as he moved closer to Jo, she could smell the musky scent she had noticed on the ship. As his scent enveloped her, she became aware of how her body was responding to him. Her nipples had hardened and stood up to be seen under the thin cloth of her nightgown. Her heart thudded in her chest, her legs trembled and her mouth was so dry she couldn’t swallow. She moistened her lips with her tongue, but stopped when she saw Acorus looking at her mouth, with passion in his eyes.
“Why are you looking so angry, Jo. I’m sure the Escorii have done nothing to make you look like that”.
“No they haven’t. I’m not angry with them. They are always very kind. It’s the situation I’m in. I’m trapped. I have no freedom of will; I’m not used to having to do as I’m ordered. I had such plans for my life, and it’s all been snatched away, I feel like a slave in an old sultan’s harem and I don’t like it!” and at that Jo burst into tears.
Acorus pulled her into his arms, hating himself and the situation he was in. He liked and admired Jo and honestly hoped that she would have a good life on Scerior. As Jo tensed at the feel of his body, he cursed his bad temper, and swore to himself that he would do everything in his power to make her content with the life she would now have on Scerior. Jo could not hold back her tears and as Acorus just stood there holding her, she gave way to the emotions she had bottled up since her kidnap.
Acorus let her cry for a while, then he patted her back and said “Come Jo, dry your tears. I promise I will curb my temper and I will not hurt you again”.
As Jo looked up at him it was like a punch in his stomach and his ever ready cock strained against his Kaftan. He realised that no other female had stirred him as Jo did.
“I know I can’t fight against the fate that has overtaken me, but I have been independent for so long it will be difficult for me to bow my head and keep my mouth shut. But if you say you’ll try to understand me then I will do my best to become a valued citizen of Scerior, as Kylie and Julie have”.
Acorus smiled down at Jo and said “Let us make this a new beginning for us. I am sorry that you mourn the life you had planned for yourself. Maybe together and with Lady Ileya’s help, you can build an even better life here”.
Jo dried her eyes and found a tissue to blow her nose, and then she said “Have you had breakfast? I’m starving!”
Acorus let go of her and going to the door, opened it and she heard him shout for some food to be brought to them.
Jo said “I should have a shower; I’m all hot and sweaty”.
Acorus laughed “No more than me. We’ll shower after we’ve eaten”.
“Don’t you have to go organise your soldiers or something?” Jo asked.
Acorus raised his arm in the air “Sick leave. I have the whole day off”, and he grinned at her lasciviously.
Jo blushed and lowered her gaze “You didn’t tell us last night how you got hurt?”
“It’s nothing”.
“Kylie saw that you were moving stiffly and it worried her. It’s best to tell us you know. What people know doesn’t worry them half as much as their imagination” cautioned Jo.
“Kylie worries needlessly. It comes from her insecurity”.
Jo pointed her finger at him and said “You’re avoiding telling the truth”.
Acorus laughed “You are a nagging woman, come here so I can beat you” and he grabbed her and lifting her up in his arms, strode to the bed and dropping her onto it, prepared to join her.
Jo squealed with shock and slid to the opposite side of the bed. Acorus jumped onto the bed and grabbed her arm. Jo suddenly went stiff and turned her head to look at him.
Acorus saw the fear in her eyes, and wanted to hit himself. He pulled her towards him and cupped her chin in his large hand “Jo, I’m fooling about. Please don’t look at me like that”.
She stared into his eyes and he saw the relief flood into hers.
At that moment there was a knock on the door and it opened to let four Escorii in. Tsu and Tjai along with Acorus’s two males carried platters of food and drink over to the table and set them out.
“Come Jo”, Acorus said, getting off the bed and holding out his hand.
Jo got off the bed and went to sit at the table; Acorus took the other seat and told the Escorii that he would let them know when they were needed. Tsu and Tjai scuttled out of the room with the males following them sedately.
Acorus looked at Jo and said “I realise it will take time for you to trust me but I have said I will not hurt you again, and I never break my word”.
Jo smiled at him weakly “I’m sorry, I’m not usually so nervous. I understand that you never break your promises. I think we will both have a difficult time, as I have a quick temper too. I’ll try not to snap but sometimes I have difficulty controlling my tongue”
“I had noticed” joked Acorus smiling at her.
They ate in companionable silence for a while, then Acorus pushed his chair back from the table and said “Alright, I’ll tell you what happened yesterday”.
Jo commented “It was the Xenarii wasn’t it? Who are they?”
Acorus sighed and said “You need to know about everything, don’t you. I begin to wonder if you are a Sceriae female in disguise. You
have the same need to know, as they do”.
“I can’t help it if I have an enquiring mind. Also it’s best to know as much as you can.
That’s how you get on in life!”
“Now then shut up and listen” Acorus said “We had a message from Dariae that a Xenarii scout ship had slipped through our defences and landed near Dariae. Why we couldn’t work out, as there is nothing there except farms and food processing factories. I took a battle party there, to find that our local troupes had got them encircled and trapped. We offered them surrender and of course they refused, so we moved in and attacked them. I tried to capture one to find out what they were doing here. Myself and two of my men had caught one in a net, but he managed to get one of his whips out and slashed at my arm.
The end of their whips are poisonous so I rolled away quickly, but he caught me on my arm with his whip. My armour saved me, but the arm is badly bruised. So you see there is nothing to worry about” and Acorus shrugged his shoulders.
Jo shook her head and frowned “They sound nasty. Are they our enemies or are they just as dangerous to everyone?”
Smiling at her Acorus said “Our enemies! I hope that means you are beginning to think of us as your people”.
“I hope so too, otherwise there will be no point to my life, will there? But I also meant would they be Earth’s enemies too?” Jo asked looking concerned.
“No, at the moment their ships have not got the capabilities to travel that far, but they may be able to get the technology in the future. This is why we watch them so closely and try to interrogate any we can catch” Acorus looked grave and Jo understood the responsibilities on his shoulders. Then he stood up and taking Jo’s hand pulled her to her feet.
“Jo, I want you, I must mate with you but I need you to want me too. Already you feel different to any other female I have mated with. I think we could be good partners and I hope friends”.
Jo looked into his eyes and saw passion and desire but also compassion and need.
She moved round the table until she was close to him and putting her hands on his chest whispered “I would like that too”.
Acorus lowered his head so that his mouth could capture hers and kissed her with great tenderness. When he raised his head he had a wicked gleam in his eyes “Now we’ll shower” and he pulled her Kaftan over her head, threw it on the floor, and then threw his Kaftan on top of it. Lifting her up he carried her through into the shower. As the water came on, he covered his hands with soap and washed her everywhere. She squirmed in his grip as he accessed her most intimate areas, caressing her sex and rubbing her vulva until finally he plunged two fingers inside her making her gasp with passion. Without conscious thought her hand moved to his engorged cock, and it was his turn to groan. As Jo almost exploded with desire he lifted her up and gently lowered her onto him, she squealed at the size of him but he held her until she had relaxed then slowly began to move inside her. She wrapped her legs round him and gave herself over to the orgasm that was building inside her. As she came in rolling waves Acorus finally gave way to his orgasm and roared as he came.
As he shuddered against her, Jo grabbed his head and pulled his mouth down to hers. They kissed gently playing with each others lips and tongues until finally they just leaned against each other, neither wanting to move.
As the water switched off and the warm air blew over them, they stayed together in complete comfort until suddenly the air switched off. Then Acorus whispered in Jo’s ear “I thought I might take you out today and show you round the city, but I’m quite happy to stay here if that’s what you would prefer”.
Jo leaned her head back so she could look into his eyes, laughed and said “I’m sure you would prefer that, but I would love to go out”.
“Well” Acorus said looking at her with his sexy grin “You’ll have to unwrap your legs, because I am incapable of moving, you’ve got me trapped!”
“I’ve got you trapped, that’s a cheek” Jo gasped, blushing a deep pink and hastily unwrapping her legs. Acorus groaned, “If you move like that, we won’t get out of here today” and he began to move within her again.
Jo slapped his shoulder and struggled to free herself and Acorus said “If you keep wriggling like that, we’ll never go out” but as he said it he lifted her and freeing her stood her on the floor.
She smiled shyly up at him, still not used to joking about sex, and Acorus bent and kissed her on her nose.
“Do you mind if I take Kylie with us?” he asked.
“Of course I don’t. That’ll be fun, but what about Julie” Jo asked, not wanting her to be left out.
“No, Julie is too close to her time to want to go out. She’s seen everything here anyhow”, and Acorus went through to the bedroom door and spoke to someone who was there.
Jo wrapped a cloth round her, but Acorus had no modesty and just sat at the table as he was and poured them a drink. Jo took the drink and then searched for her hairbrush, then sitting on the bed gave her hair a good brush. The door opened and two male Escorii entered carrying some clothes. Acorus got up and went into the bathroom to get dressed. As soon as he had gone, the bedroom door opened again and Tsu, Tchu and Tjai entered.
They were carrying clothes too, not a Kaftan but loose silky trousers and a tunic top. They helped Jo to dress and she was delighted at the way the clothes looked and fitted her. Because she felt so grown up and sexy in her new clothes, she decided to pile her hair up on the top of her head.
By the time she had styled her hair Acorus had finished dressing, and stood at the bathroom door watching her. She looked so beautiful that his breath caught in his throat, he felt strange inside and couldn’t understand what was the matter with him. Jo felt him watching her and turning round caught a look on his face that she couldn’t understand. He was frowning but his mouth was smiling. As he realised that she was looking at him he grinned and she couldn’t be sure what she had seen.
“What?” she asked
“Nothing. I’m just waiting for you to stop fiddling with your hair” he replied “Are you ready?”
“Yes” she answered “Do I look alright?”
“Oh yes, very alright. Now let us collect Kylie and Tsera and we can go”.
“Tsera? Are the Escorii coming too?” Jo asked
“Not if you don’t want them to. Kylie depends on Tsera and as she is fragile I am happier when she has Tsera with her” replied Acorus.
Jo looked at Tsu, Tchu and Tjai. Tsu was trying not to look as if she’d love to go, but Tchu and Tjai were indifferent.
“It would be nice if Tsu came with us” at which Tsu clapped her hands, then stopped immediately when she saw Tchu frowning at her.
On the way out they collected Kylie and Tsera, who both looked pleased at the prospect of a jaunt into the city. As they went out of the chamber the guards slapped their right hands to their left shoulder and stood to attention. Acorus said something in his own language, it still sounded, to Jo, like clicks and guttural noises in the throat, and they relaxed.
One of them said something to Acorus and he raised his injured arm and flexed it. The guard nodded and walked along the corridor to the outer door, which he opened, stepped through and called to someone outside.
Chapter 8
As Jo passed through the door, following Acorus, the heat hit her. The sun, if that was what it was, shone down fiercely. The sky was bright blue with an orange glow. Kylie close behind her said “Phew, it’s a scorcher again, today”.
“Is it always as hot as this?” Jo asked.
Acorus heard the question and turning back to her said “Not always. When it rains, it rains hard and it is a lot cooler then”.
He ushered her towards a vehicle. To Jo’s surprise it looked like a sand buggy, without wheels.
“Are we going in that? Won’t it be too hot for Kylie?” she
queried.
Kylie laughed and said, that no it wouldn’t be too hot and climbed into the back seat, followed by Tsera and Tsu. Jo looked a question at Acorua, and he told her to get into the front passenger seat. He climbed into the driver’s seat and pressed a switch. Instantly the air around them freshened and felt like a lovely spring day. She couldn’t believe it and asked whether it was some kind of air conditioning. Acorus nodded and Kylie said that it was fantastic wasn’t it. Just then four flying motorbikes, with Sceriae soldiers on them came to hover round the buggy. Acorus started the motor which was almost silent and the buggy rose up from the ground and flew down the street with two bikes in front and two behind.
Kylie, Tsera and Tsu were chatting away to each other but Jo who was so entranced by everything she saw, gazed out at the beautiful colourful gardens, on either side. They turned onto another avenue, looking much the same as the one that Acorus’s house stood on. After travelling for about ten minutes, Jo could see that they were moving away from housing estates and that the area appeared more commercial.
The buildings were still low; everything no higher than two stories, and most with only one. Some of the buildings looked like boutiques; interspersed with what Jo thought must be offices, and an occasional cafe. There were tables outside the cafes and Sceriae and Escorii were sitting with food and drink in front of them. All the waiters appeared to be Escorii; everyone was well dressed and looked as if they were enjoying themselves.
The Escorii looked as affluent as the Sceriae and Jo felt embarrassed that she had thought that they were slaves.
Ahead of them gleaming white walls, decorated with friezes of what appeared to be animals and birds, surrounded a large open courtyard. Acorus brought the buggy to a stop at the side of the road; broad pavements of the white stone separated the road from the courtyard walls.
Kylie chuckled with delight “Oh, this is my favourite place, Jo. You’ll love the shops and the entertainers are such fun”.
