  “Yes.”

  “For how long?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know. I’ve wanted you for the last few years, but I stayed away because I didn’t want to hurt you and I knew I would. I have some baggage when it comes to relationships and how I feel about them. My sister says I need therapy.”

Luna smiled at me. “Do you think you need therapy?”

  “Yeah, probably.”

She kissed my neck again. “If you’re not ready for a relationship, I get it. Obviously, I don’t know all the details of what your mom did, but -”

“I’m ready,” I said. “I’ll probably fucking suck at it, but I’m ready to try because I do love you, Luna.”

“That’s all I need.” She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry I got mad at you today for what you said about my parents. I know they’re – they’re not perfect but they are my parents and I love them. I’m not going to cut them out of my life, but I will try to not just give in to everything they want.”

“What about your sister?” I asked.

She sighed. “That’s more complicated obviously. Lydia is never going to change, and I know that, but if she keeps blatantly hitting on you, then I’ll limit the amount of time I spend with her. She needs to start respecting me and my boundaries. I don’t know if she will, though.”

I cleared my throat. “I told her that even if I didn’t love you, I would never touch her. Not even if she paid me.”

“Ouch. Maybe that’ll get the message through to her,” Luna said. “She was pretty drunk though. But still, to invite you over, to try and get you to sleep with her when I was still at the hotel… that’s awful, even for her.”

She sighed again, and I pulled her against my chest, rubbing her slender back. She rested her head on my shoulder before smiling up at me. “Pretty sure I need therapy too.”

I kissed her forehead and she sat up before tracing her hand over my chest. A smile crossed her face when my dick hardened against her ass. “Now that we’re dating for real, you really are required to go to the parade and the ceremony with me tomorrow. You know that, right?”

I shrugged and bent my head to press a path of kisses down her slender throat. “We could go to the parade and the ceremony, or we could just stay in bed all day and I’ll eat your little pussy until you’ve cum so many times you can’t think straight.”

She arched into my hand when I cupped her breast. “You’re very difficult to resist when you talk about pussy eating, Mr. Stokes.”

I teased her nipple with my thumb before setting her on the bed. She laid down and I stretched out beside her, cupping her perfect small breast again before kissing her. I sucked on her tongue and groaned when her hand rubbed my aching cock.

I lifted my head and studied her sweet face before tugging on a lock of her fire-coloured hair. “I love you, Luna Davis.”

  “I love you too, Asher.”

  Claire

“Claire? I have something to tell you, but it’s, like, really important that you don’t freak out.”

I glanced up from my computer. Roxie’s face was pale, and she looked like my cat did right before he threw up a hairball.

  “What’s wrong?”

“Okay, but remember, don’t freak out.”

  “Roxie! What is it?”

She shut the door to my office. “I can’t find the remote.”

“Please tell me you are not referring to the remote that controls the sex toy that is currently lodged in my goddamn lady taco.”

“I’m sorry. It was in my pocket and now it’s not.”

I stood up and really wanted to stomp around the desk to show Roxie how angry I was, but the aforementioned sex toy shoved up against my hoo-hah meant I had to make small and measured steps. The damn thing wasn’t even vibrating but just the pressure of it against my clit, the small movements it made as I walked, was sending little electric shocks of pleasure up and down my spine.

Christ, why did I ever agree to this stupid dare? I blamed the whiskey.

“I’m going to straight up murder you, Roxie. Do you hear me?”

“I’m sorry! I don’t know how it happened.”

I glared at the small brunette. “Where have you been since you got here?”

“Well, it was in my pocket when I was at my cubicle, I know that for sure. I went to Brady’s desk and talked to him for a bit and then I grabbed a coffee from the kitchen.”

I grabbed her arm and steered her toward my door. “You move your ass toward the kitchen and see if it’s on the damn floor of the hallway or the kitchen.”

“Where are you going?” She asked as we stepped into the hallway.

“To the bathroom to take this stupid thing off,” I said in a low voice. “Then I’m going to check by Brady’s desk.”

  “I’m sorry, Claire. Really.”

“Go, Roxie!” I gave her a gentle shove in the direction of the kitchen. I headed in the opposite direction. The bathroom wasn’t far, but I couldn’t get there soon enough. I needed to get the damn thing off my genitals before –

The sudden vibration against my clit made me squeal and stumble to a stop. I leaned against the wall, biting my lip and trying not to fucking moan as the vibration when from low to high.

Oh sweet merciful God. This could not be happening.

I lurched around the corner, sweat beading up on my forehead as the damn pink butterfly vibrated against my clit. I groaned inwardly. A few of the electricians were standing in a loose circle in the middle of the hallway.

“Where did you find it?” Gerry was staring at the small silver remote in Brady’s hand.

“On the floor by my desk,” Brady said.

  “What’s it for?” Ron asked.

“I have no idea.” Brady pushed a button and I swallowed down the moan as the steady vibration became a hard and rhythmic pulse against my aching clit. I grabbed the wall for support, squeezing my thighs together and trying to stop my body from noticeably shaking.

I needed to get the remote away from Brady before I had a goddamn climax right in the middle of the hallway.

Before I could lunge forward and grab the remote, Jonah slipped by me. He plucked the remote from Brady’s hand. “Thank you, Brady. I wondered where this was.”

“Oh, it’s yours, Boss?” Brady said.

“It is.” Jonah pressed a button and thank sweet baby Jesus, the vibration stopped. I leaned against the wall, trying not to noticeably tremble as Jonah slid the remote into his pocket. I had no idea why my boss was saying the remote was his and frankly, I didn’t care. I was heading straight to the bathroom and throwing the stupid butterfly vibrator straight in the trash and Jonah could do whatever the hell he wanted with the remote.

I highly doubted that Jonah knew what it was for. My boss was straight-laced and didn’t have a kinky bone in his body. The idea of him even knowing what a butterfly vibrator was let alone using one on a girlfriend, was so far out in left field you’d need binoculars to see it.

It didn’t matter anyway. All that mattered was he had shut it off and I could get to the bathroom and get out of this thing before I humiliated myself. Straightening my back, I walked toward the electricians, ignoring the way my clit was still throbbing, and tried to smile naturally at them.

  “Good morning.”

As I walked by Jonah, his big hand caught me just above the elbow and pulled me to a stop. “Claire, I need to speak to you in my office.”

“Sure. Just give me five minutes and -”

He steered me past the group of electricians and the bathroom. “It will only take a moment.”

I sighed and allowed him to lead me to his office. He pointed to the chair. “Have a seat please.”

Grimacing, I sat and tried t
o discreetly move my pelvis to try and dislodge the vibrator against my clit. It was no use, I had apparently tightened the waist and thigh straps a little too tight. That little monstrous butterfly was pressed up against my clit and it wasn’t going anywhere.

Jonah moved to the window of his office and turned his back to me. He stared out the window before shoving both hands into his pockets. “How was your weekend, Claire?”

“Fine, thank you.” Shit, my boss would pick this moment to act like a normal human being. I reached up and wiped at my forehead. I was sweating worse than a hooker in church. “What is it that you need, Jonah? I don’t mean to be rude, but I -”

My words were cut off with a small gasp when the butterfly buzzed to life and my poor swollen clit was assaulted by vibrations again.

I stared at my boss’ broad back, my hands clenching down on the chair arms as pleasure coiled in my belly.

  Oh fuck.

I was roughly twenty seconds away from cumming in my boss’ office.
