His Daughter's Laughter (Silhouette Special Edition)

Carly stared wide-eyed and openmouthed as Arthur stepped into the hall and closed the door behind him. “Me an’ the boys’ll be headin’ into town,” he called from the other side. “We’ll pick Amanda up from school and eat supper at the cafe Probably won’t be home till eight or nine. That’s gonna be one happy little girl when she finds out about her new mama.”
Stunned, Carly turned toward Tyler and blinked. “What happened to him?”
Tyler’s expression turned serious. “He finally figured out how much I love you. He knows you’re the only woman who can make me happy.”
Carly’s heart expanded. “Does he have any idea how much I love you?”
“I think your coming back here proved that beyond a doubt”.
She closed her eyes. “I was so scared you wouldn’t want me.”
“Not want you?” Tyler wrapped his arms around her and pulled her on top of him. “Not want you? I crave you. I love you. I need you so damned much I nearly went crazy without you.”
Carly’s eyes misted over as she kissed him. “Then show me,” she whispered against his lips.
“For the rest of my life.”
