Love. Her heart raced, and she could hardly think straight. Tears misted her eyes. “Oh, Caleb. Are you certain?”
“Certain that I love you? Yes. Certain that I want you to be my wife and share my life with me? Yes. Now, please don’t torture me. Please say yes to me, Ali.”
“Yes! Yes, I’ll be your wife.” Joy exploded inside her. “I love you so much, Caleb.”
Caleb rose and swung her into his arms. “Yes!”
They both erupted into laughter.
Ali had known that approaching Caleb with her plan would change her life. But falling in love with him had made her happier than she’d ever believed possible. And now, as Caleb’s soon-to-be wife, she knew that in life fantasies really did come true.
