The type does have its disadvantages. Like many Triangle League designs “Videttes” are quite flimsy. They are particularly susceptible to micro-meteor damage, not least because of their extended patrol times. The sensors are unsubtly powerful and are prone to interfere with each other and also with some of the other electronic systems, particularly the communications arrays. This can lead to a slow response time if something unexpected turns up.
