I gave him a nod then turned around. A few steps toward the door and my sneakers were suddenly hardening cement.

What the hell are you doing?

Even after a few beers and a bit tipsy, the voice of reason in my head was still trying to warn me. But it wasn’t telling me to walk away.

You can’t just leave this guy… Can you?

Now I didn’t even know what to think. I couldn’t trust Micah. I didn’t even know if that was his real name. I couldn’t just leave him either. There was something about him. Or maybe I was just trying to rationalize doing something stupid with a complete stranger.

Whatever it was, I slowly turned back around. Micah leaned up against the bar by himself. I could already see some of the other women in the bar eyeballing. The vultures were circling.

  Fuck it…

I walked up to Micah and interrupted whatever conversation he was having.

“Sorry,” I said. “I forgot to tell you something.”

  “Oh? What is it?”

“Not here. It’s pretty loud. And… I can’t risk anybody else hearing it. Do you know a place that’s a little quieter where we can talk… in private?”

I held back a smile. But when I saw the smirk slowly curling onto the corner of his lips, I had to purse my lips to avoid doing the same.

“Yeah,” he said with a nod. “I know a place we can go. You trust me?”

“No… I don’t trust you at all. But I trust you more than everybody else in here.”

He straightened up from against the bar and moved right in front of me. Now that he wasn’t slouching, I realized just how much taller he was than me. I couldn’t help a hard swallow as I looked up at him.

“All right, Audrey. Let’s go for a ride.”

  Chapter 5

  MICAH

  Trouble…

The long, blond hair. Those damn deep blue eyes. No tattoos and a face that was like a ray of fucking sunshine. At first glance, the girl looked like she spent more of her time in the library than in bars. She stood out even more with the crowd at Finn’s. But all it took was that little smirk of hers. It was barely there. Just a little twitch on the corner of her lips. Something you wouldn’t notice if you weren’t looking. And I was fucking looking all right. From her face to that petite frame of hers hidden by a leather jacket and a pair of denim that hugged her body just right.

  Trouble… Definitely trouble…

I even told myself what I was getting into. But I didn’t fucking care. All I needed to know was that she was willing to go along with it. Lucky for me, she was.

She hopped on my ride and hugged her arms tight around me. Feeling her squeeze my waist let me know she was still here with me.

  It’s been too long.

I couldn’t remember the last time I took a woman for a ride. I intended on seeing this shit through.

We headed a few blocks down from Finn’s. I pulled into the parking lot of another bar. In the Westside, there was a bar on every corner. She hopped off and stared up at the bar.

“What’s this?” she said. “You took me… You took me to another bar?”

“There’s only one Finn’s. Even my own clubhouse gets wild but the scene isn’t chaos like it is over there. You can talk to me here.”

“I see… I’m beginning to think the people in Ivory have a drinking problem.”

“Maybe it’s normal and the place you’re used to living in just doesn’t drink enough.”

  “That’s a possibility.”

She gave me a wink then shifted her eyes toward my bike.

“That thing moves a lot faster than I thought it did.”

I leaned against the seat and nodded in approval.

“It’s been out of commission for a bit. I know a few guys who tuned it up real nice for me. This thing treats me right.”

“You talk about your bike like it’s a person.”

“It is a person. At least, that’s the kinda respect you gotta show it. Any man who doesn’t treat his bike with respect doesn’t deserve to hit the road.”

“Is that one of the tenants of your little boy scout club?” she asked as she poked her index finger into the patch on my chest.

“It’s just an unwritten rule. It’s not that hard to follow.”

“Unwritten rule… I bet someone like you has a lot of unwritten rules.”

She crossed her arms and turned her head up. Despite being shorter, she still managed to look down her nose at me. She had a quiet confidence about her. It was that or she just didn’t care.

  What’s this girl up to?

“All right,” she said as she turned toward the bar. “You gonna buy me another beer? I gotta be honest with you, I’m close to my limit. I keep drinking and you’re gonna have to be holding my hair while I take care of business.”

“Oh, I plan on holding your hair while you take care of business… But not in the way you’re thinking.”

“Are you sure you know what I’m thinking?”

  Playing games.

Audrey wasn’t the first broad I ever flirted with. I knew how this shit went with the women in Ivory, even after a decade gone. Audrey though… Her subtle smirk was gone. She wasn’t batting her eyelashes or sticking her chest out. She just kept her arms crossed and stared like she was trying to drill a hole through my fucking face.

“Well, Micah? What are you gonna do now?”

“You said you wanted to tell me something in private.”

  “I’m waiting for some privacy.”

I straightened up and took her hand in mine. My eyes locked on hers, I didn’t blink as I made my way through the parking lot. But just before we headed inside of the bar, I veered into the alleyway next to us.

It was dark with only the streetlights in the distance making it barely able to see. The cats scrounged around in the dumpsters for food. The loud music of the bar next to us vibrated through the walls.

“Your idea of talking in private is a dark alley?” she said.

  “I’m not taking you home.”

  “Why not? You homeless?”

“I wouldn’t have any respect for a woman who went home so willingly with a stranger.”

  “Is that right?”

I could barely see her face from the streetlights but she was pale enough for me to see just how gorgeous she was. Those blue eyes were shining through the darkness, still piercing a hole in me and clouding my judgment.

  Shit…

My dick was getting hard and damn if Audrey didn’t already know it.

“I’m not looking for respect,” she said. “All I want is one thing.”

  “And what’s that?”

She reached her hand up and cradled the back of my head. I could’ve stopped her but I didn’t when she pulled my face toward hers. She only needed to do it for a moment before I pressed my mouth on hers. My tongue stuck out in search for hers. A sloppy kiss echoed through the alleyway. That was only just the start.

I put my hands on her arms and kept her in place while our lips kept tangling together.

  Damn…

Every second that went by, I was losing myself. Those beautiful eyes were still in my thoughts while I made out with her. The flowery scent of her hair flooded my head. Even the way she felt in my grip made me want even more of her. Audrey was powerless to stop me but she wanted it just as bad as I did.

Her hand reached between my legs. She palmed my cock through my jeans and rubbed me like she was trying to hurt me. She locked her eyes on mine, my forehead pressed to hers.

“Not bad,” she said. “I think you can do a little better than that.”

  “I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.”

“Is this all you got, Micah? I’ve had bigger…”

“Well, why don’t you fucking do something about it then?”

She was still so focused as both her hands started working on my jeans. When my zipper went down, there was some relief from letting my cock stretch out. She took a peek for a sec
ond then back to me.

  “What do we have here…”

She pulled my jeans on the sides until letting them fall on their own around my knees. My briefs were the only thing stopping my dick from being completely free. She teased me for a bit, running her thumbs along the waistband before tugging them down slowly. My cock caught on the fabric, revealing just how hard I was, until it finally popped up, hard and free.

  “Big enough for you?”

  “Oh, I still don’t know…”

  My instinct took over.

A hand found its way to the back of her head and gripped a handful of hair. I squeezed it tight while I forced her to look at me.

  “It’s enough,” I said.

I gave her a gentle push to give her the hint. She did the rest of the work, slowly lowering herself down to her knees. The way she licked her lips made me swallow. I breathed hard through my nose when she grabbed my shaft in her delicate palm. A few pumps and my knees buckled.

  “Look at that… You’re already dripping… Let me just… get a taste…”

She stuck her tongue out and ran it over the head. One long, slow, agonizing lick. The entire time, she just kept eyeballing me with the kind of focus I’d never seen from a woman before.

I tightened my grip on her hair.

  “Stop teasing…”

“Why? You gonna do something about it?”

  “I just might…”

She opened her mouth and I pushed her face down on me.

  Damn…

A hard shudder shot through my spine. So wet. So warm. There was nothing like having a girl’s mouth on you. But Audrey… Audrey was different.

Her tongue slid underneath my shaft. She slurped on me loud enough for people to hear it down the block. She kept moving down until I was resting down her throat. A few gags and chokes but she didn’t pull off. Audrey sucked me off like she wanted it more than I did.

I freed my hand from the back of her head and leaned back against the wall. Audrey did all the work. Her hands grabbed my waist so she could rock her head back and forth to the perfect rhythm. Seeing her bob with those beautiful blue eyes looking back up at me… I had to hold back.

  “Shit…”

I gripped her shoulders and pushed her off gently.

“What’s wrong?” she gasped, licking some of the spit dripping down her lips. “You don’t like getting your cock sucked?”

  “I do… I think I like it a little too much.”

“Tsk, tsk. Never admit to a woman you can’t hold it in.”

She wagged a finger at me. I grabbed her arms and forced her back up to her feet.

“It doesn’t matter if I admit it or not,” I said. “I always get what I want.”

“And what do you want, Micah?”

We were both breathing so damn hard. I was sweating through my clothes. My heart was racing. And my cock was fucking throbbing. Audrey got me so worked up.

  “No turning back,” I said.

“I made that decision a long time ago.”

I reached down for her jeans and zipped them down. We worked together to push them down her knees along with her panties. It was dark but I could still make out just how much her pussy was glistening. I didn’t think I could get harder but damn if my dick didn’t feel that way.

One quick kiss and I switched places with her. She pressed her palms against the wall and presented herself. Seeing the pale skin of her ass and wet pussy just inviting me made it hard for me to think straight. But when she turned around and looked at me… That’s when I would’ve done anything to do what I was about to do.

  “Waiting for something—”

I shut her up with one hard thrust. I pressed my hands underneath her shirt and leather jacket, squeezing her and holding her in place. I filled her up completely. Her mouth was something, but her pussy… She was a lot tighter than I was used to. Too many Ivory sluts made me realize what I was missing out.

I slammed my cock into her ass. Her whimpers whenever my body slapped against her cheeks were music to my ears. I gritted my teeth, grunting with every hard thrust.

  “That’s it… Just like that…”

  Damn…

Her voice was demanding me. She spoke with the kind of authority of someone twice her size. I might’ve been the one having my way with her but I’d be lying if I said she didn’t have the same control I did.

I could already feel it building inside of me. My balls tightened against my body. All of that cum swelling my dick. I was on the verge of exploding and there wasn’t a condom to stop it. Audrey groaned like she didn’t care.

  “Come on… Harder…”

I squeezed my hands around her waist then rammed into her like I was trying to break her in half. The rhythmic pounding of our bodies continuing to slam together grew louder. Audrey kept whimpering like she couldn’t take much more.

  “Fuck… Give it to me… Come on… Harder…”

She kept egging me on. Damn, this girl was gonna fucking kill me. But if this was the last thing I ever did, it would’ve been worth it.

I buried my cock as deep into her as I could. I grunted like a madman. My vision blurred. My knees buckled. All of my senses were leaving me. I had to get it. It was right there in front of me. All of that cum just waiting to spill out.

  “Fuck…”

  I grunted through gritted teeth.

  “Wait…”

Suddenly Audrey pressed her hand against my chest. In one swift movement, she squatted down in front of me. Her mouth found its place back on my cock just as the first pulse of cum fired out of me. My cock kept throbbing.

  “Oh… Shit…”

All I could do was fucking groan while my cock did all the work. Well, that and Audrey. She stared up at me, gulping down every thick contraction like it was nothing to her.

  This feeling…

The way she looked at me while I came… I wanted it to last forever. I wanted her to drain every last drop out of me. But I gave her all I could.

She squeezed her lips around me to make sure she got everything then pulled her mouth off with a smack. She licked her lips clean then stood back up straight. Her eyes were a little watery. Her cheeks were red. The woman just sucked my cock in a back alley but she still had that quiet, confident arrogance about her.

“I thought you wanted to talk,” I said with a smirk.

She didn’t smile back at me. She just took a step back and looked me up and down.

  What the hell was that?

  “I gotta go,” she said.

“Just like that, huh? You’re just gonna use me and leave me?”

I kept smiling at her. But she looked away from me like she didn’t wanna look me in the eye. She didn’t say another word as she walked out the alley.

  “Shit…”

I put myself back together then walked after her.

“Hey, where are you going?” I said.

“I’ve had a late night. It was… It was fun. But I really gotta go. I… I can’t lose my focus on the business I need to take care of.”

“Listen… I don’t know what business you’ve got. Frankly, it’s none of mine. You handle your own shit. But maybe I can help you. You’re new in town, Audrey. If this is as serious as I think it is, you need all the help you can get.”

She hesitated for a moment before nodding.

  “Gimme your phone,” she said.

  “…What?”

“Just gimme your phone. I’m not gonna steal it.”

  Careful now.

I pulled my phone out and she swiped it from me. I watched as she punched away on the keys.

“You should really put a passcode on this thing…”

  “I’ve got nothing to hide.”

She gave me a side-eyed glance before she finished typing.

“Here,” she said as she handed it back. “You’ve got my number. I… I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”

  “All right…”

She walked toward the sidewalk and
hailed a cab.

“You know, I can give you a ride—”

“No thanks,” she said. “You’re still a stranger. Can’t trust having you know where I stay.”

“But you’ve got no problem giving me your number?”

“Just make sure you answer if I call… It was nice meeting you, Micah.”

  “…Audrey.”

She didn’t say anything more. There was no wave goodbye. There was no smile or wink. She just stared at me for getting into the cab. I stood there and watched her disappear into the distance. I was too confused to even scratch my head.

  “What the hell was that?”

Shit was always happening in Ivory. I guess this was just another night and another story to tell. Whatever Audrey’s deal was, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d figure it out, one way or another.

  Chapter 6

  AUDREY

The crowd inside of the bakery was a change of pace. Just ordinary folks looking for a donut and a cup of coffee to get their day started. I was doing the same. At least, I was trying to.

Tired even after a few hours passed out on my hotel bed, I leaned up against the table and kept stirring the sugar in my coffee.

  “Long night?”

I looked up at the cheerful little brunette standing there. The friendly smile she had made me do the same, though it probably took me a lot more effort than her.

“I guess you could say that,” I sighed. “How could you tell?”

“You mean besides the messy hair and the bags under your eyes? Don’t worry. We all have our moments, especially in a town like Ivory. How’s the town treating you so far?”

“How… How do you know I’m not from around here?”

“I’ve been working here long enough to recognize everybody. You’re not a regular, so I figure you’re from out of town.”

She took a seat in front of. I would’ve minded if she didn’t have such a pleasant attitude.

  “Gina.”

She raised her eyebrows at me. I couldn’t help but smile back at her.

  “Audrey.”

“Audrey… So… How’s Ivory treating you so far? I mean, outside of whatever it is you did last night.”

“It’s hard to say. I haven’t been around for very long. One night I’m dealing with a bunch of bikers riding through the streets like thunder and lightning. The next morning, it’s Pleasantville.”
