Robin's Nest

by Melissa Stevens

Robin smiled and wrapped his hands around my calves. He made his way up the bed, sliding his hands over my legs as he went. As they got close to the apex of my thighs, he bent down and started kissing my skin, taking small, gentle bites, then kissing away the sting. He nudged my thighs farther apart, until he was able to settle his body between my legs.

I felt the heat of his hands as he gently cupped my sex. His fingers were thick and rough as they parted my outer lips. He looked at me over the slight mound of my belly as he swiftly reached out with his tongue and flicked it against my clit, just once.

I'd been watching but I hadn't expected the move or the sharp bolt of pleasure it sent through my body. My hands fisted in the sheets on either side of me and my head fell back against the pillows as, still watching me, he started to blow against the spot he'd just licked.

My hips jerked against the empty air above them, looking for more. I watched Robin through lowered lashes as he turned his attention back to what he was doing. He looked back down at my sex, and ran the flat of his tongue the full length of my slit then plunged it deep inside. My body arched, lifting my back off the bed. I gripped the sheets on either side of my body as I cried his name.

His tongue thrust in and out of me several times. A thickness I knew had to be one of his fingers, replaced his it, and his mouth moved up slightly to suck on my clit. He thrust his finger in and out for a few moments, then added a second as he worked me into a frenzy. His fingers were buried deep inside me when he curled them upwards and gently rubbed across the spot deep inside me sending me into an intense, blinding orgasm. I couldn't think. The wave of pleasure was so overwhelming all I could do was lay there, gasping for air.

As I began to return to myself, I looked up at Robin sitting back on his heels watching me, an easy smile on his face. I reached up to the string of condoms next to my pillow and tore one off. "I think it's time for this." I ripped it open.

  "Only if you're sure."

I sat up, moving until I could reach him. I ran one hand up the inside of one leg until I reached his cock, standing proud at attention. I gripped him, squeezing gently before unrolling the condom down his hard length.

"Don't even think of denying me now. I want you as badly as you want me."

As soon as I got the condom on, Robin pulled me into a deep kiss. I could taste my juices in the kiss and made me even wetter.

I tried to push Robin back onto the bed, but he stopped me.

"This is my show. You can run things later, if you want." He lowered me back against the pillow and dipped his head to suckle at one breast. He held his body over mine, his knees between mine, and his hands on either side of my shoulders. I held on as he lowered his body toward me. He worked his way up from my breast to nuzzle my neck and tease the skin beneath my ear with his teeth.

I felt the tip of him as he slowly penetrated my hot, slick channel and I arched up to meet him, pushing him deeper. When he'd buried all of himself inside me he paused a moment, as though savoring the feeling of my heat clenching around him. Then with slow, deliberate movements, he began to withdraw, until he was almost completely free before plunging deep once again. He repeated the motion, dragging a deep moan from me at the exquisite sensation. He settled into a smooth, slow rhythm. I moved my arms around his back, and used one to hold on to his ass while the other bent upward to grip his shoulder.

He maintained the slow rhythm he'd set as he bent down and whispered into my ear. "Is this what you want?"

"This is good. So very good. But this is not what you said you would to do to me." I heard the mischief in my own voice.

"What was that again?" He kept his pace slow and even. "What did I say I wanted to do to you?"

  "Fuck me."

"What was that? I couldn't hear you."

  "Fuck me."

"One more time, Sammie. Scream it for me."

  "Damn it, Robin, FUCK ME!"

He did. He drove into me with a force he hadn't used before. It only took a few hard, deep strokes and I was screaming again. This time a wordless cry as my body gripped him tight. I dug my fingers into his skin trying to hold on to a little bit of sanity as he continued to slam his body into mine.

I gasped. Before I could catch my breath, he pushed me off the edge again. My body was flooded with pleasure and I could only let the sensations wash over me as my body clenched around him. I was only vaguely aware as he shouted his own release then collapsed to one side.

"Is that what you had in mind?" He asked between heavy breaths.

"I'll let you know when I can think again."

Later, as I was still trying to gather my wits about me enough to control my muscles when I felt Robin get up. He went into the attached bathroom, then come back. He helped me under the covers then curled his body around mine. I fell asleep with his arm wrapped around me, holding me tight.

I woke the next morning to the ringing of my cell phone. It took me several seconds to remember it was sitting on my dresser, across the room, where I'd left it when I changed clothes the night before. I still hadn't managed to open my eyes when I heard the door open, then close and my phone stopped ringing. The door muffled Robin's voice and I couldn't make out what he was saying.

I pushed myself upright, and found myself in the middle of the bed. Closing my eyes, my thoughts drifted back to the night before, and I re-lived every wonderful moment. The door creaked and I opened my eyes to find Robin standing in the open doorway, I reached for my glasses, and with them on, I noticed he had a steaming coffee mug in one hand.

"I'm sorry the phone woke you. I was trying to let you sleep." He came closer and sat on the bed. He handed me the cup. "That was Sophia, I told her you were sleeping and that you'd call her back later."

I nodded, took a tentative sip of coffee, and I discovered it was sweetened perfectly. I sat quietly for a few minutes as I drank the dark liquid and let the caffeine work its way through my system, waking me up.

"Did I hurt you?" Robin's voice was quiet and worried.

I was confused. He'd never done anything to hurt me, at least not on purpose. My confusion must have shown on my face.

"Last night, did I hurt you?"

Understanding dawned before I swallowed the latest sip of coffee. I quickly shook my head and once I could, I spoke. "No, not at all. What in the world would make you think you hurt me?"

He spoke slowly, not meeting my eyes. "I was more than a little rough. It wasn't at all the sweet, gentle lovemaking I planned, especially with you hurt, then you all but passed out…" he trailed off.

"Okay, let me take this one piece at a time." I set my coffee cup on the nightstand, and turned to face him. "First, you may have been a little rough, but it was exactly what I asked for, repeatedly, if I recall. I promise you, if at any time, anything we do together hurts me and I want to stop, I'll say so." I cupped his face and made sure he was looking me in the eye. "Second, it may not have been what you planned, but we both participated. We both consented. It was what I wanted, what I needed, and even what I demanded."

"But I told you to say it."

"Ah ah ah, I'm talking here" I wagged one finger at him. "Yes, you told me to say it, but only after I maneuvered you into it first." I tilted my head to one side and continued. "Step back from the situation and last night, just for a moment and try to be objective. Have I ever, in the more than twenty-five years you've known me, done something, anything, I didn't want to do, just because someone told me to?"

"No. You're more likely to not do something you want to do because someone told you to do it, or even to do something you don't particularly want to do, because you were told you couldn't do it."

"Exactly. Why would I suddenly start doing what I was told now? Especially if it was something I didn't want to begin with?"

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and let it out slowly, much of his tension leaving with the breath. "Okay, you've made your point, I didn't make you say it just to please me."r />
"No, you didn't. I manipulated the situation so you would push for it. It wasn't an accident." I looked down at my lap. "Third, my bruises are ugly but they don't hurt. Maybe if I hit them hard they would hurt, but normal movement and even the more…vigorous contact we gave them last night, doesn't hurt. Last, yes, I all but passed out, but not in a bad way. I was exhausted from both the day and from mind blowing pleasure." I met his eyes again. "I did not pass out because you hurt me. I want you to be sure of that. You gave me four mind-blowing orgasms last night, in a fairly short space of time. That's something I've never experienced before." He looked away and I put my hands on either side of his face and waited until he met my eyes again. "If you want the truth, and we've agreed only the truth between us, I loved everything we did last night. LOVED it." I placed a soft kiss on his mouth. "A repeat performance would be welcome, anytime." I released his face and leaned to give him another soft kiss before pulling back and picking up my cup.

Relief was clear on his face, but after a moment, it turned to curiosity. "Never done what before, exactly?"

I was quiet for a moment, trying to decide how to say it. "Multiple orgasms from the same act." I tilted my head to one side. "I've been known to go from oral sex, then go again during intercourse, but, until last night I'd never come more than once during a single instance of intercourse." I shot him a sly look. "In case you don't remember, you sent me over the ledge three times, after making me come with your mouth."

  "Oh." Robin sounded thoughtful.

"Is anything else worrying you?" I took another sip. I wanted to deal with them now, if he had more.

"Just for curiosity's sake, because now you have me wondering." He gave me a funny look, it almost looked like he was hiding something. "What would you say if I wanted to do something kinky?"

I lifted one brow. "My first question is how kinky, exactly? What do you want to do? I'm open to trying new things. If it sounds like something I might enjoy, we can try it. If it's too much and I know it, we can discuss it, possibly compromise so we can both enjoy it. If it's really out there, I'll tell you now and you can come up with something different."

"You're serious?" He was clearly surprised. "You might be up for some of it? And you would be willing to compromise on others?"

"Yeah. Why not? If it's something I could enjoy and I'm okay with the idea, we can try it."

He shook his head. "I've never been with anyone who was willing to try anything remotely adventurous before."

"I guess we have some firsts to share with each other after all. You can drive me to new heights and I can try new things for you."

"That sounds wonderful." He bent and kissed me thoroughly. "What do you want for breakfast?" He pulled away, stood and moved across the room, out of reach.

I pouted, I wanted him to come back to bed with me. "The eggs should still be good and I think there's some bacon in the freezer if you want it. You can cut up and fry some potatoes if you want." I mentally shifted gears and prepared to get up.

"Yes, Ma'am." He turned to leave.

I got up and headed into the bathroom, listening to him bang around in my kitchen, as I got ready to start the day.

After breakfast, we cleaned up our dishes, and I called Aunt Sophia back while Robin took a shower. She wanted to check in and make sure I wasn't having any trouble. I let her know I was fine, no problems at all. She already knew Robin had spent the night after he'd answered my phone that morning, but she didn't make an issue of it. She asked what our schedule was like for Wednesday, as it was the first day that everyone else was free for dinner. I told her that I was free, but I'd have to check with Robin since she insisted he attend. I promised to let her know soon and I hung up, grateful I had family who cared. At the same time, I was glad I didn't live with them anymore. I liked my space.

I sat in front of the computer while Robin finished his shower and went through what remained of my email. I paid the bills that had come in while I was away and responded to a few messages before I checked a couple of my favorite web pages. Then I made a post on Facebook letting people know that I was fine and would be around more, later.

I was reading news headlines when Robin emerged from the bedroom.

"What are your plans for the day?" he asked.

"I don't really have any yet, you?" My attention still on the screen in front of me.

"When I talked to Bruce this morning, he insisted I take today off. I thought we could go to Safford and get groceries, maybe have lunch. If you'd like, we can see about picking up a rental car, too. "

"What else did Bruce have to say?" I was barely able to hide my grin behind the laptop. I suspected his brother had taken the opportunity to say about whatever he hadn't wanted to say in front of me the night before.

He shook his head and gave me a disbelieving look. "You were right. He wanted to talk to me about you, but it was the weirdest warning talk I've ever received. He said you're a bit wild, news flash there, right? And that you could lead me 'off my path'," he used his hands to make air quotes, "but then he told me you're a very nice and sweet girl and I better not hurt you. The whole conversation was very Twilight Zone."

I did my best not say I told you so. "Now for the million dollar question. Did he know where you are?"

"I didn't think about that. If he drove by my place he'd know I wasn't there and it's not far to guess I'm here. If he drove by here, then there you have it, but I didn't tell him I'm here, it never occurred to me and he didn't ask."

"And you called from your cell, so he had no reason to suspect you were here, like my number showing up on his caller ID."

"Pretty much. I didn't think about it before calling, it's habit to use my cell, not a land line."

"Yeah," I smiled. "I never use it either, it'll be one of the first things to go in order to save money until I can get a new job."

"So, do you want to go to Safford with me?" He changed the subject. "We won't have nearly the interruptions there that we would more locally."

"Yeah, I guess we better, or before long we'll be eating match sticks. I went shopping the day of the accident but just in town, which means only a few things. Feeding both of us will go through my supplies pretty quickly." I shot him a flirtatious look. "That is, if you plan on spending much time here?"

"There's no place I'd rather be. I figured that when I'm not working, we would be together, either here or at my place, at least until you find a job."

"That reminds me," I turned to look at him. "Aunt Sophia wants to know what your plans are for dinner on Wednesday. It's the first time the rest of the family can make a family dinner but if you can't make it, she'll find another time. She insists you attend."

"Then I guess I'll be having dinner with your family on Wednesday."

"Thank you." I stood and kissed him on the cheek. "Let me call and let her know we'll be there, then I have a couple of things I need to get done before we can leave.

  ***

I called Aunt Sophia and let her know about Wednesday. Then quickly put together a list of things I needed, then we loaded into Robin's pick-up and took off. After a detour to the post office, where we picked up the mail that had piled up for us both, then we headed out of town. We spent most of the day running errands and chasing down the things on my list but we weren't able to get me a car. When we stopped at the rental agency, they told us I needed to contact my insurance company first, or I would have to pay for the rental. Having recently become unemployed, I couldn't justify it.

As soon as we got back to the house and put the groceries and our other things away, I called Bruce. I needed a copy of the accident report and the other driver's insurance information. If the accident was his fault, my insurance shouldn't be paying.

My next call was to the other driver's insurance company. I had to make it clear to the adjuster assigned to the case that I had the proof in my hands (I didn't yet, but I would soon) that their, now deceased, customer was at fault for the acciden
t. I also had to tell them not only did they have my vehicle to replace, but also I had spent more than a week in the hospital, and that would be at their expense as well. The adjuster hemmed, hawed and acted as if he wasn't sure they were responsible for the bills. That's when I lost my temper.

"If I have to get an attorney to deal with this, you can rest assured I'll go for as much as I can possibly get, just because of the hassle." I kept my voice quiet. I didn't want the man on the other end to hang up because I was yelling. "How much do you think a week in the hospital is worth? Keep in mind," I continued, not giving him a chance to answer, "I'm aware the standard for pain and suffering reimbursement is double the medical bills, but I just spent a week in a coma. That's a week of my life gone, plus the stress and suffering the whole ordeal has caused my loved ones, and I'm now dealing with."

"Um, well, let me see what I can do," the adjuster faltered, "if you'll give me just a moment?"

"All right." He put me on hold. While I waited, I wondered what Robin was up to, but I didn't want to wander too far from the desk since I hoped the man would come back soon.

"Miss Davidson?" The insurance man came back on the line.

  "Yes?"

"I've got the information you'll need to get a rental car, if you're ready?" He seemed less shaken and more willing to help.

"I'm ready." I took down the information and let him know where to find my Jeep, so they could send someone to do an estimate and decide what they would do. I don't know if it was the threat of an attorney or that I'd spent a week in a coma that made him willing to deal with me, I didn't really care. Things were being taken care of and that's what mattered.

Once off the phone, I went in search of Robin. I found him in the kitchen, putting together dinner. "You didn't have to cook." I wrapped my arms around his waist from behind, burying my face against his back.
