Kingston, Ontario lies along an area known as the Thousand Islands region. The sizes of these islands range from tiny to large as a small city. Surrounded on all sides by water, they hold their own mysteries and secrets.

The sometimes cryptic nature of the Thousand Islands served as the jumping off point for this tale of The Hauntings of Kingston. Yes, bootlegging, or rum-running as it was also known in these parts, played a significant role in the economy of this area during the 1920’s. The book Booze, Boats and Billions by C.W. Hunt is a fascinating read about the area’s history during this era.

Thank you for reading The Ghosts of Hanson House. I hope you enjoyed this tale as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you could leave an honest review on Amazon I would greatly appreciate it. Reviews are ambrosia to new authors as they try to establish a career, but more importantly, your honest opinion will help other readers such as yourself make informed decisions on how to spend their precious time.
