She smiled, staying still until their breathing deepened before sitting up. She paused, waiting to see if she’d moved the bed too much but they didn’t stir, chests rising rhythmically. She eased Sully’s arm off her hip then slipped out of the bed, tiptoeing over to the closet, removing a small box she’d placed in there. The cardboard opened silently, the ends hanging limp at the sides. She reached in, pulling several silk ties from inside. She’d searched through more than a few containers of spare clothes in order to gather enough to properly bind the men to the bed. But today, it’d all be worth it.
Harper snuck back to the bed, looping the ends around the posts first, knowing the men would wake as soon as the cool fabric touched their skin. She’d do Cogan first then Sully, praying Jake would offer to go along if the other two woke him up. But just as she reached for Cogan’s hands, the man bolted up, grabbing her around the waist and rolling her over, pinning her arms over her head. She struggled against his hold, his sheer weight keeping her trapped beneath him as hands grasped her ankles.
She managed to shuffle over enough and glance down just as Jake tied one of the silk strands around her left leg as Sully bound her right. Then they moved to her arms, double-checking the knots before stepping back, fingers tapping their chins as they admired their work.
Cogan eased off her, nodding his head. “Damn fine job, gentlemen. Damn fine.”
Harper yanked against the fabric giving the men a heated stare. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
“Why, turning the tables on you, sweetheart.” Cogan held up a spare tie. “You were going to use these on us today, weren’t you?”
“Three against one isn’t fair.”
Sully sat on the edge of the bed, dipping it with his weight. “We know. And it’s the only chance we have of ever besting you.”
“How the hell did you even know? I didn’t make a sound.”
Jake moved between her legs, sitting there as if it were normal for her to be bound. “Did you honestly think we wouldn’t notice the box you hid in the closet? Please, love. We’re not that oblivious. And there’s something you should know about firemen. We’re extremely light sleepers. And we have a way of allowing our bodies to rest…to actually appear to be sleeping…while still being conscious. It’s a trick we used to use to get through the long shifts, especially at night.”
She huffed out a breath. “You guys have barely slept in a week. You should be passed out cold.”
“We’ve been spelling each other off enough we can play for a bit before we need to sleep for real.” Jake leaned in over her. “And we all know how hard you come when we take control. Only I think this session will top the spanking.”
“You boys know that sooner or later, I will have you at my mercy.”
Cogan chuckled. “You already do. Every damn day.”
“Now see! That, right there! Making me love you guys more! Not. Fair.”
“Fair’s for pussies. And there’s only one we’re interested in. Get comfortable. You’re going to be here for some time.”
“Fine. You win this round. But I’ll get the next.”
“Sweetheart, you come hard and fast, and we’ll hold still while you tie us up.”
She smiled. They had no idea what they’d just signed up for. “Deal.”

This Sin Called Hope by Anna Mayle
Hundreds of years ago, Earth as we know it was laid to waste by the war to end all wars. Hunger and plague followed, and in the gaping wounds of a society thick with terror, greed and corruption took strong root. It split the human race apart. Those clinging to civilization fell to ruin, those who turned from it were left little more than cannibalistic monsters. From the darkness, Enoch has watched as the worst traits of humanity have destroyed the world he once knew. Denied even the mercy of a quick demise, the immortal “Angel” fills his days maintaining the Network, if only to bring some form of connection and order to a broken world, even as he has grown to despise the very beings left upon it.
From the unlocked backdoors and open windows of the Network, Jacobi has watched the world with love and delight, relishing in the little human moments that remind him of why life is worth living. The offers of kindness when there is none to be found, the small acts of charity when there is so little to give, and the good deeds performed when all appears lost is the hope that keeps him going—this and his unfailing belief that, perhaps, tomorrow will be a better day. The optimistic “Hacker” does not remember Earth before the destruction, but he spends his days and nights searching the remote recesses of a data-banked past, looking for the hope people seem to have misplaced along the way.
When Enoch captures Jacobi’s attention, the hacker can’t help but want to learn more about the rough-tempered Angel who has given up on humanity. Can Jacobi, with all the love he has to give, teach Enoch to care again? Will Jacobi be able to reach Enoch in time? Can these two solitary watchers come together to help save a world where hope is considered a sin?

When everything went to hell in a hand basket, and California fell into the ocean, blowing the first of the major utility grids, folks were plumb crazed. Then the earthquakes hit Maine. The midwest. Japan. Italy. Australia. When the fault lines in Texas went, splitting the country in half, everything old was new again. They had a good herd to drive to what's left of Denver, and they were fixing to head over the desert when Emmett was shot and died in Ezrah's arms. Desperate, Ezrah contacted an old friend, a man who could still access the last of the world's technology, Jesse, to help him save the land. Jesse, a wild child from the desert—inked and wearing a port, a believer in spirits and ghosts and, totally gone native—is more than willing to help. After all, he'd been in love with that sweet little ass in denim since the moment he laid eyes on it.
Hollow Men by Sommer Marsden
America’s greed finally bit it on the ass in late 2012. The Mayans had nothing to do with our spectacular fall. All things fast, cheap and super-sized did. In a new world where voracious inhuman killers roam the streets and human poachers can be just as dangerous, the only thing that could make loner Eleanor Salt’s life more complicated is the love from her past. Evan Blackwood.
