Cassandra chimed in eagerly, “Of course we will. You are welcome here… you are family.”

While I didn’t argue their relation, I wasn’t as quick to welcome them… not when I knew the danger we’d be facing and hearing that they had been living in isolation. I was about to speak when Constantine spoke again.

“Family or not, I don’t want you to fear that we will be a burden,” he said, meeting my gaze. “We wouldn’t come and add to your worries unless we felt prepared to be of help. We may live in paradise on our islands, but I assure you, we have been training for years in preparation of rejoining the battle when it was time.”

I wanted nothing more than to win this battle. To break the curse. To make the world safe should Cassandra one day stand between Draco and me, her belly round and firm with our child. I took another moment, considering both his words and the men who stood before me. There was no denying their bodies showed the truth of his words. Not only were these Greeks huge, every muscle was defined, not an ounce of fat on any of them. From the corner of my eye I could see Artem giving a slight nod, as if to give his blessing of the newcomers. Perhaps there was strength in unifying. Tightening my arm around Cassandra’s waist, I spoke. “They are many more in number this time. We would certainly be grateful if you would stay. We can battle as one.” Smiling, I nodded and finally held out my hand. “I wish it was under better circumstances, but welcome to our home.”

“Then if the two alphas agree, it is decided.” Constantine reached out his hand. I took it in mine and our grips melded in a shake between leaders. The pact was struck.

“Enough gabbing! Can we give her our gift now?” Calypsa asked, clapping her hands, her long white-blonde tresses swinging side to side as her head swiveled to look at both of her mates.

Pavlos’ grin crossed his expressive face. “We normally travel in pack form, the men as wolves. But Calypsa prefers to ride Notus, and she thought you would as well.”

“And since we all flew in a plane across the ocean, she’s a bit anxious to exercise the animals so please excuse her lack of manners,” Constantine said, giving us a smile but I also saw him give his mate a sterner look.

The young woman smiled sheepishly. “I didn’t mean to be rude. I’m just… well, so excited to meet all of you and to share our gift.” When we all smiled and nodded, she gave us a brilliant smile and continued. “Cassandra, Notus is my Pegasus, and I know once you ride, you’ll understand why I love it so much.” She rushed forward to take both of Cassandra’s hands in hers. “The second horse is yours!”

Our princess smiled broader than a little girl who’d woken up Christmas morning to find a pony beneath her tree. “Really? You mean it?”

At Calypsa’s giggle and the men’s nods, Cassandra squealed as she had when she’d first spied the magnificent beasts. I learned that what I had always considered to be their special ‘happy dance’ was evidently universal as Cassandra and Calypsa bounced about just as enthusiastically as Cassandra and Cynthia had earlier.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh, it’s such a wonderful, generous gift,” Cassandra said when the two finally came to a stop. “Notus is Greek, isn’t it?” Cassandra asked. “It sounds familiar but I can’t quite place it. Wasn’t he God of something?”

  Calypsa laughed. “Let’s see… he’s Greek and he’s male, so… yes.”

Cassandra actually snorted, Cynthia and Dolly giggled, and I heard chuckles from around the room as well. Perhaps there was some unwritten law that Ambrosia men wed sassy non-Greek women. Whatever the reason, I knew that Cassandra and Cynthia had found a friend and, most likely, a consort in Calypsa.

“Sorry,” she said, though she very obviously wasn’t. “Yes, he is one of the four Anemoi that were the personification of the four directional winds. Notus was the south wind and since Australia is south of the islands where I found real-life Greek gods, I thought it the perfect name.”

Cassandra nodded. “Oh, I love that. Don’t you, Deo?”

“I do,” I agreed. “And the other horse? Does he have a name?”

“It’s not a horse, silly,” Cassandra said, rolling her eyes. “It’s a Pegasus.”

Calypsa just laughed and shook her head, the heavy weight of her hair swaying like a curtain around her. “Not yet, that is for Cassandra to decide.”

“How about Boreas?” Cassandra said. “We are north of Australia and it’s winter.”

“That’s perfect,” her new friend agreed. “I’m impressed that you know so much about the Anemoi.”

“Well, I’ve been doing a great deal of research lately and learned a lot about the Ambrosia dynasty.” She paused and looked over at me, giving a huge, exaggerated sigh. “I find mythology absolutely fascinating but you have no idea how frustrating it is to not be able to shift and travel on your own as a wolf—”

“Tell me about it,” Calypsa said, the two sounding so alike it was a bit uncanny. “It does seem a bit—”

Constantine interrupted her, “Wait, you cannot shift but you are a prophetess? No? I can sense your powers from here. Of sight and”—his brow narrowed, his lips pursing—“another gift. What is it?”

Hell, I’d barely had time to assimilate the fact that my wife was now having visions, and I’d not begun to converse with her about any additional newly acquired powers. I’d be damned if I let her reveal them to this stranger so soon after our meeting.

“The princess is quite powerful, as is the dragon. As are the rest of the pack. We all have our unique gifts and abilities, even our mankind.”

Their leader’s eyes roved over Andrew and Cy. “These two? How did you acquire them?”

Cy’s hand shot to her hip. “We were not acquired. We volunteered, thank you very much.” Nick gave a chuckle, his shining eyes never leaving Cy, his head nodding as if to show his approval of such self-sacrifice.

Andrew, a voice for reason, spoke. “Cynthia and I are good friends of Cassandra’s. We were lawyers from the same firm—bonded over some tough cases. When we found out Cass was in trouble, Cy and I jumped in to help. We’ve been with the pack ever since.”

Nick took a step toward Cy. “A lawyer, huh? I should have guessed by the way this little lady drilled us with questions upon our arrival.”

Balthazar, who though he was happy to get handsy with Cynthia, flirt with Cynthia, tease her mercilessly, and ogle her all day during training, had never formally made a romantic gesture toward the feisty woman, now made his move. His gaze cutting to Nick’s, he strode purposely before the group. Cynthia’s eyes widened as Baal stood beside her, wrapping an arm protectively around her. Cassandra held back a giggle and Draco smirked beside me.

Well, well. So was this what it took for Balthazar to proclaim his love? A little healthy competition?

When Pavlos spoke again, his voice was low, all hint of amusement gone. “It is our understanding that time is of the essence. The demons are sure to return now that your mate is reunited with you. We must prepare. How much time spans between attacks?”

My fingertips grazed my cheek, the slightly raised weal giving his words weight. “In our writings we have found there to be years between attacks. In our lives, unfortunately, we were taken off guard by this most recent one. It was only months after the first.”

“And how was the curse unleased?”

Cassandra’s head fell, and I knew she still felt weighted by her guilt. Before I could speak, Draco said, “‘Does it matter?”

Pavlos looked over at our mate. “I suppose it does not. What matters now is when they will come again. And how they took you off guard. Was there no warning of their nearness?”

“We had… signs… they were gathering.” I thought of the newspaper article and my inability to believe what Draco and Cassandra knew—they were already on their way. “This time there were only a few who seemed to be only after Cassandra. They were in the process of attempting to get her location from me when my pac
k drove them off. I’m not sure the exact timing, but I do know they will not only be back… but that they won’t come alone. Everything in me is positive that this will be a battle like none we have ever fought before.”

Constantine gave a nod. “When they do come again, we will be prepared, and we will fight alongside you.”

“Beginning at sunrise, every moment shall be spent in preparation. But tonight, we celebrate the coming together of our families under the strong Ambrosia name. I believe dinner will be ready soon. If you’ll excuse us, we’ll freshen up and meet you in the dining room in an hour?” I asked, playing the host. With the group’s consent, Alekos assuring me he’d escort our guests to their rooms, I turned to Draco, locking my gaze on his. He gave me a nod—his thoughts obviously aligned with mine. Though danger was at our doorstep, we both had something else on our minds. Hell, if it wouldn’t be considered the crassest of manners, I knew we’d already be stripping our girl in preparation of being buried deep inside her before Cassandra could draw another breath.

As it was, it took us less than five minutes to pull her up the stairs and into our room, Draco kicking the door shut behind us.

“Save me from houseguests,” I said, reaching for the hem of Cassandra’s shirt and pulling it over her head, her bra following it to the floor.

“Deo! That’s not polite!” she chided. “It is an honor to host family from so far away.”

“I’d much rather honor my mate,” I growled. “For God’s sake, this is why I hate you wearing pants. They take too fucking long to remove! I’m gonna die if I’m not inside you in the next second!”

She squealed as I lifted her off her feet so that Draco could pull her boots off and then peel down her pants and panties. I set her on her feet with the intention of removing my clothes when she surprised me and went to her knees.

“I’m not ready to become a widow, thank you very much,” she said, proving that she had yet another hidden skill as she used both hands to deftly unzip my pants and Draco’s, reaching in to pull our engorged cocks free.

The next sound was my groan as she opened her mouth and took me inside, that sassy little tongue licking all along my shaft as her fingers stroked the length of Draco’s as he stood across from me. Shit, was there anything sexier than your mate kneeling before you, her cheeks hollowing in and out as she sucked your cock? I wasn’t sure where that shy young woman I’d married had gone, but the siren who’d taken her place was going to be the death of me. But, damn if this wasn’t the way to go.

When she pulled back, her tongue giving a last swirl around the head of my cock before she lapped at the slit, swallowing the pre-cum that seeped from me, I moaned again. She smiled as she released me, her hand moving up and down as she turned to draw Draco’s cock between her lips. Fuck… it was also pretty hot watching her head bob up and down on our co-mate’s cock as she pumped mine. Again and again, she moved from one to the other, a tug of her hair from our fists buried in her auburn locks, my hand or Draco’s guiding her, pulling her off to prolong the immense pleasure of feeling her tongue on our hot flesh, her teeth gently scraping over our shafts, the suction of her mouth. Our free hands played with her nipples, twisting and tugging, loving every moan, mewl, and gasp she gave as the play continued.

“Spread your legs, I want to see the cream I can smell,” I demanded, pushing my cock a bit deeper into her throat, inhaling deeply, loving both her muffled cry and the red color that crept up to stain her beautiful face.

“Good girl,” Draco said. “Look at our girl, Deo. She’s so fucking wet her cream is dripping down her thighs.”

“And about to be wetter,” I said, feeling my balls drawing up, knowing my end was near. “I’m close.”

“Me too,” Draco said, pulling Cassandra’s head back, but not enough to disengage her from around my cock. “You’ll swallow Deo’s cum then mine, understand?”

She couldn’t exactly answer, not with her head pulled back so sharply… not with a cock buried down her throat, but the question had been rhetorical. He relaxed his hold on her fire-colored tresses, and I pumped in and out, loving the struggle it took for her to accept our domination and humbly accepting the gift of submission she offered us both. With a roar, I released my first jet of cum, groaning as I felt her throat constrict around my throbbing cock every time she swallowed. I didn’t tarry as I would normally, not when I knew that it was taking every ounce of control Draco had not to come. The moment I felt the last jerk of release, I pulled her off, turning her head toward our mate.

“Every drop,” I ordered, watching as she gulped a lungful of air before closing her lips around his cock. This was yet another moment when it was easy to see why there was a huge misconception in so many people’s minds about dominance and submission. At this moment, Draco might have his fingers fisted in her hair and his cock down her throat, and Cassandra might be on her knees, but I promise you, it was our submissive who was in control. The incredible woman Draco and I shared was the one who held the power. This was not just a woman giving her guy a blowjob. This was a gift of not only her body, but her heart… her soul. The moment she’d accepted the last of Draco’s seed and pulled away, I had her up and in my arms.

“God, you are so beautiful. We are incredibly lucky you’ve chosen us,” I said as I followed Draco into the attached bath. He switched on the shower and stripped, stepping into the stream and holding out his arms. I transferred Cassandra into them, shedding my clothing to join them. He had his mouth glued to hers, his hands on either side of her face. That was fine with me… there were so many places to drink from our mate’s body. Dropping to my knees, I placed my hands on her thighs, guiding her legs apart. My mouth watered with just the thought of the nectar that awaited me. It was with great satisfaction that the first swipe of my tongue through the sopping seam of her sex drew a cry of bliss from our mate.

“You’ll come for us,” I said. “And then, babygirl, if you don’t want to discover how much ginger’s natural oil burns when a nice thick root is put up your ass, you’ll come again. Understand?”

I took her strangled squeal for an affirmative answer as my mouth descended on her pussy again. Her clit pulsed in pleasure as I drew it between my lips and that delicious squeal repeated itself when I nipped the sensitive bundle of nerves. Two fingers found their way inside her slick channel and when they curled to stroke over that rough patch inside her, she rose up onto her toes and shattered.

“Good girl,” Draco said, allowing her to breathe as she keened her pleasure. “Such a good girl coming all over Deo’s face like that.”

Our girl gave another strangled sound, one I knew was a combination of embarrassment at the dirty talk and pleasure as the spring inside her began to coil again. The next time she came, it was only because Draco had her arms pinned behind her back, holding her securely to him that kept her on her feet. Her legs were shaking, her entire body trembling as wave after wave of bliss was drawn from her. Sitting back on my haunches, I grinned. Such a good girl indeed.

“What the hell?” I muttered when I became aware of a pounding that wasn’t caused by the blood racing through my body.

“The door,” Draco said, returning his lips to nuzzle along the column of Cassandra’s neck.

“Fuck!” I stepped from the shower, crossing the room to yank open the door. “What!” I shouted.

“Well, hello to you too,” Alekos said, his eyes roving up and down. “Did I catch you at a bad time?”

Following his gaze, I realized that I hadn’t bothered to grab a towel. Not particularly giving a shit that I was dripping water all over the floor or that my cock was sticking straight out from my body, I snarled, “This better be a matter of life and death.”

He grinned and shrugged. “Well, let me just say that while I can do no wrong in her eyes, I’m not so sure Aunt Maggie would feel the same about you if you cause her dinner to be served cold to our guests.”

“Fuck! We’ll be right there,” I said with a sigh
as I slammed the door, cutting off my brother’s bark of laughter. I’d forgotten all about our guests. By the time I returned to the bath, Draco had our girl wrapped in a towel and was combing out her hair.

“Our mate is tired,” Draco said. “Maybe I should stay with Cassie and…”

“No way in hell that’s happening,” I said, slapping the hair dryer into his hand before stepping back into the shower stall. “If I’ve gotta play host, I’m sure as shit not doing it alone.” They both laughed as I lathered up, my hand not exactly what I had wanted to feel engulfing my cock. Fifteen minutes later, Cassandra was slipping on a pair of ballet flats, looking stunning in a dress the color of the blue sky we’d flown through earlier.

“You look beautiful,” I said, pulling her to me and giving her a kiss.

“Thank you, so do both of you,” she said, turning to kiss Draco as well.

We walked down the stairs together, flanking her between us, our arms around her waist.

“Let’s hope our guests eat fast,” I growled. “I’m already as hard as steel.”

Draco chuckled. “Down boy,” he said as the three of us stepped into the dining room. “At least you got to taste our girl’s sweet honey. All I got was the constant squirming of that hot little pussy all over my neck while we were flying. I’m surprised I could stay aloft, it was so distracting.”

Without missing a single beat, Cassandra said, “I don’t suggest you let Aunt Margaret hear you speak of her pet like that. Dirtbag was a perfect gentleman.”

“I wasn’t talking about that old fleabag; I was talking about—”

“Draco Ambrosia, are you disparaging my beautiful cat?”
