“I’ll do that.” Isaac stared after them with longing as Snickers helped pull Jeremiah’s wheelchair up the ramp.
Sovilla slipped her hand in Isaac’s. “It’s time to train another puppy.”
He squeezed her hand gently in reply. Once again, she’d read his mind.
God had blessed him with so many things, including his baby daughter and the most wonderful wife a man could ever have—one who was loving, caring, and wise. And as soon as they shut the door, he took her in his arms to show her all the love overflowing in his heart.
