When we finally part for air, I move us to the wall lined with old photographs near the door, slamming her against it. Taking her nipple into my mouth she cries out in pleasure, as I part her legs a little more and find my way home again. Her pussy clenching around my cock like a vice.

“Fuck, Luna,” I grunt, tingles running through my body.

Holding her in place, I piston into her repeatedly as my movements start to stutter and her back arches. Her emerald green eyes catch mine and hold me captive. I don’t remember a more intimate moment than this right here. Looking into her soul through her bright eyes as her body grinds against mine.

I see the moment she finds her ecstasy, her eyes barely remain open but glued to mine as she rides the waves. Her pussy squeezes around my cock and it’s too much for me to take. My orgasm hits, starting in my toes and zapping through my whole body.

Pressing my forehead to hers we cum together, slowly dragging every gasp of pleasure from each other. Holding her close to me, her hands cup my face, the delicate pads of her fingers stroking my cheeks.

“You’re mine,” I murmur, not moving a muscle as I wait for her response. She stares me down before finally offering a soft smile.

“And you’re mine,” she whispers, sealing it with a kiss to my lips.

I'll take that as a motherfucking win.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

  (Luna)

After splitting the weapons into duffel bags Roman went to store them in each of the rooms, while I got myself ready to leave. Each room now has blades and guns in all shapes and sizes in preparation for The Games. All except Parker’s, we’ve kept his room empty. Understanding that his father could show up and get access to his room without question means we have to play this safe. We have added extra to the four remaining duffel bags to make sure we’re covered.

I stash mine in my dresser beside the bag that sat waiting for me the first time I went to the vaults. The one with Meu Tesouro embroidered into it, which I’ve still not been able to bring myself to open.

After Roman’s meltdown in the vaults, I try to meet him halfway with how I approach the agent. Keeping my jeans on, I switch my band tee for a white tank top that dips lower than usual. Kicking my combat boots off I slip into a pair of sandals, and touch up my make-up, only applying gloss to my lips this time.

The image of my red lipstick smeared all over Roman’s cock back at the vaults has my skin flushing and goosebumps trail up my arms. Fuck. The whole thing was so hot, even him forcing a little submission out of me. He better have believed me when I said it would be a rarity, but to see the burn in his eyes, I’d do it again.

I hadn’t considered how my words would come across. I've never had to consider others before. I’ve also never had to do whatever it takes to corrupt someone either. I could see it in his eyes that he wanted to teach me a lesson, claim me, consume me, and I wanted to know what that felt like.

I took everything he asked, I gave him all of me. The peak of the intimacy was peering into his eyes as I climaxed around him. I want that feeling again, and again. I can’t put a name to the feeling that washed over me, but it was the difference between fucking for fun and fucking for feelings, that’s for sure.

My fingers clawed into his back, his neck, anywhere they could grip as he powered into me against the wall. Small droplets of sweat beading along his brow line as he chased his orgasm too, he peered into my soul. Damn, I’ll never be ready to leave if I don’t stop replaying it through my mind on repeat.

“Are you almost ready, Captain? The guys are here,” Red calls from the lounge, kicking me into action.

“Coming,” I shout back as I put everything away.

“Yeah, you were,” Roman says from my bedroom door, catching me by surprise with a grin on his face.

The others must hear his comment, bickering between themselves that he got some of my candy, in Oscar’s words. I don’t hear anything else. I’m too busy watching Roman track his gaze up my body, his eyes stopping at my tank top and the peek of white lace showing underneath. His eyes darken as his fists clench at his sides.

“Baby, this is me compromising. Take it or leave it, but I’m not changing.” My voice is firm as I walk towards him, stopping within an inch of his chest, making me have to tilt my head slightly to meet his stare.

His hand lifts to my breast, trailing a finger along the edge of the lace of my bra, as his eyes stay on mine.

“If I even catch him glimpsing at your perfect tits, I’ll cut his eyeballs out,” he grunts. His other hand finding my waist and holding tight.

These Aceholes are all leaving finger bruises along my hips and waist, and I’m not even sorry about it.

“Roman, looking isn’t the issue, but if he tries to touch me I’ll kill him myself. Agreed?” I ask, lost in his bright blue eyes as he glares down at me. His hand cups my breast, as the other moves around to my ass squeezing. His grip, forcing his knuckles white but my lust only kicks up a notch.

“Not agreed, princess. You’re mine.” Smashing his lips to mine with brutal force, he pulls away and steps back all too quickly. “Remember what we talked about? Don’t make me go all assassin on your ass,” he says before storming out of the room.

I have no idea if he’s joking or not. My mind hopes so while my pussy wants to see him in action. Fuck me, she’s an embarrassment. I glare down at myself willing the sexual tension to go. Stupid lady parts.

“Let’s go, baby girl. As hot as you look, I’m kind of on Team Roman with all this” Oscar says, peeking his head around the door and waving a finger up and down the length of me.

I roll my eyes at him as I walk past him into the lounge. The others are hovering by the door, while Red is sitting on the sofa with the television on and her assignments scattered all over the coffee table. Ignoring us all as she bounces her pen against the pad of paper in her hand, while her eyes are glued to the show playing on the screen.

“Red, are you sure you want to stay here on your own? You can come with,” I offer, but she’s already shaking her head.

“What and spend my time sitting in the truck with this group? No thanks, I have better things to do with my time. Like eat all your snacks, pretend to do this work and watch TV.” She looks at me with a wide grin, before turning back to the screen.

Taking that as my cue, I head towards the guys, and Parker holds the door open ready.

“Bye, Jessikins,” Oscar shouts, but she doesn’t respond. Instead she gives him the middle finger, making me laugh. I love all this confidence coming from her and Parker these days.

Now I need to boost my own to get this Special Agent onboard and not give Featherstone any more reasons to kill me.

  *****

Roman puts the truck in park outside a small diner. It took us about twenty minutes to get here, on the outskirts of Innsbruck, and before us sits the most classic diner I have ever seen. I can see the fluorescent lights around the windows from here, and I’m a little eager to get inside. I love the leather seats and I’m secretly praying for a jukebox. It stands alone with a mall a little further down the road, desperately needing a fresh lick of paint. It’s the biggest diner I’ve seen, and it breaks my heart a little that the sign is missing a letter.

For fuck’s sake, Luna, this is business, not pleasure. Shaking my head, I focus on what actually matters here, which is not the milkshake board I can see at the entryway.

Sitting in the front beside Roman was the only way I would agree to not meet them here on Dot. I hate riding in a car, but I always feel a little better being up front, than squished in the back. So, Oscar, Parker and Kai are all squashed into the back. Unclipping my seatbelt, I look over my shoulder at them, to see them all looking around for the agent.

Roman showed me a few pictures earlier of a middle-aged man, maybe late forties with grey-edged brown hair, and brown eyes. He seemed nice enough from the photos, like a classic all-American small-town hero, but we all know looks can be deceiving.

&nb
sp; “There,” Kai says, pointing a hand to the last booth on the left of the diner. You can only see his face from here, but it’s definitely him.

Roman sighs beside me, gaining my attention as he looks down at his lap.

“On the way back to the Academy can we drive through Tuckahoe? Then when we get back and Jess asks where we’ve been I can say to Tuck-a-Ho. Pleaseee?” Oscar says with a grin. His enthusiasm lightens my mood a little, as Kai tries to smack him around the head since Roman can’t.

“Have you got everything you need, angel?” Parker murmurs, as he squeezes my shoulder from the seat behind me.

“Yeah, I’m good.” I pick my backpack up off the floor, and check I have everything one last time.

Roman has set me up with some photoshopped photos of this guy to use as blackmail if needed. As well as some forged contracts to put in his possession to cover all bases.

I haven’t looked through them very much, but I know Special Agents can lose their jobs over embezzlement, contraband and bribery, and that’s what all this is. I just hope I don’t need to use them.

Not wanting to delay the assignment any further, I reach for the door handle when Roman grabs my arm.

“Princess, I want you to pull your phone out and type pineapple, so if you need to use it, it’s ready to go. Okay?” I nod in understanding and open the door.

“Be safe, baby girl.” Oscar adds as I step out, but I don’t look back. Instead, I square my shoulders and head for the entrance.

I hold the door to the diner open, letting an old couple pass through before I enter. They murmur their thanks, but I’m not paying them any attention, I’m busy scanning the diner for all access points. Roman told me there are two backdoor entrances, which from here are beside the counter where the register is. The door I’m walking through and the one closest to the agent are the only other two.

It’s not too busy here, eighteen people, not including the staff, are leisurely enjoying a late lunch. No one pays any attention to me as I walk through the tables straight to my mark. It’s classic in here, deep burgundy leather seats and booths with cheap white marble effect tables. I fucking love it. It reminds me of the place near my home with Rafe where we would go once a week without fail.

The booth Dominic Bridge occupies is right in front of me, and I don’t waver in confidence as I take the seat across from him. I place my backpack beside me as he finishes drinking his coffee, bringing the mug back to the table as he looks me over.

“Can I help you?” He asks wearily, as he scans my face but doesn’t once glance down at my breasts. Good start, agent. He looks much more tired in person, with bags under his eyes and extra frown lines on his forehead.

“You can, although I don’t appreciate having to take the seat without the best view of the vantage points.” I offer in response, resting my forearms on the table in front of me and clasping my hands together.

A waitress approaches us with a wide smile as she looks to the agent. “Do you want a refill Dom?” She asks, and he nods but his eyes stay on mine. “Would you like something to eat, sweetie?” I don’t look at her, but I shake my head and she leaves.

Silence fills the space between us as we each size the other up. I don’t want to give too much away, I want to see what he thinks this is about before I say anything. I struggle to keep my expression neutral when he finally breaks the silence.

“Are you the one who’s been following me?” There’s no anger in his voice, more curiosity, but he clearly knows Roman’s been tailing him.

“Nope,” I finally say, leaning back in the booth, trying to appear relaxed but the fact that he knows has me on edge a little.

“Are you linked to the reason why?” He raises his eyebrow at me, daring me to tell the truth.

“Yes.” There’s no reason for me to lie, not with what I need him to do.

“Are you from the Academy?” Damn, if I didn’t know this guy was an agent, I would now. How am I the one answering all the questions?

“Are you going to continue asking irrelevant questions, or are we going to get to the point?” Blunt is all I can offer right now, I don’t need to waste more time here than I need to. He leans back in the booth, matching my posture, and takes a drink of his coffee.

“I can only imagine you’re here to get me to do Featherstone’s dirty work, hmm?” He says it so casually, without even a blink, and I’m confused. There’s something more going on here, something that I’m not aware of.

“Do you know how many kids from that place have been forced to come to me to do the exact same thing? They’ve set you up on an assignment they know you can’t complete, do you understand that?”

  Fuck.

Of course they have. How fucking stupid of me.

“I’m not surprised,” I say tapping my fingers on the tabletop. “Any excuse to kill me and they’re all over it.”

He stares me down, processing my words.

“What does that mean?” He asks, lowering his voice to make sure no one can hear us, but I’m furious right now. Trying to remain calm and relaxed is proving difficult.

“It means if I don’t complete the assignment I die. They’ve already forced me through some trial, scarred me and now this? I’m not surprised at all.” And neither is he. Anyone else hearing what I just said would be panicked or at least stunned, but instead he curses.

“He said this would happen. Fuck. How long have you got left to complete this assignment?” His eyes search mine with a new light as he tries to piece everything together.

  “Two weeks.”

“Give me until next Sunday, I’ll know what to do by then.” Scanning around the table he grabs a napkin from the dispenser and a pen from his pocket. “Write your contact number on here,” he says pushing them towards me.

“Sorry, do you expect me to trust you when my life hangs in the balance?” I scoff, this fucking guy. “No, thanks.”

“Take it or leave it. It’s more than I’ve offered any of the others before you,” he says firmly while remaining calm. Searching his eyes, I don’t know what makes me do it but I scribble my number on the napkin. He quickly grabs it off the table and stands.

“I promise you, Luna, by next Sunday I’ll have a way to figure this out.” With that he’s gone, leaving me to sit here reeling with this whole mess.

  Wait.

He said ‘I promise you, Luna’ but I never gave him my name.

  What the fuck?

Jumping to my feet I grab my bag and rush outside. There’s no sign of him. Swiping a hand down my face I think I’m losing it.

Tires screeching to my side gain my attention. Roman is out of the truck and in my face in seconds.

“What the fuck happened?” He shouts, his eyes frantically searching mine as I try and process my own thoughts.

“Get back in the car, baby. I’ll explain on the drive home.” He reluctantly releases me and climbs back in as Parker holds the passenger door open for me. I try to offer a smile in appreciation, but it falls flat.

Taking a minute to clip myself in, I rake my hands through my hair in frustration.

“He fucking knows, Rome. He pretty much knows everything. They set me up with an impossible task,” I whisper, my brain hurting from trying to understand what the fuck actually just happened. I hear him slam his fists into the steering wheel in anger, but I don’t pull my gaze from looking out of my window. I can hear the blood pumping in my ears and feel my heart pounding in my chest.

“Take us back, Roman. I’ll tell you everything he said.”

He slams the car into drive, and we peel out of the car lot. Not wasting any time, I get straight to it.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

  (Parker)

Feeling the rays of sunlight hitting my face, I blink open my eyes, taking in my surroundings. We really need to just buy a bigger bed for Luna’s bedroom. We arranged her sofas to the far walls of the lounge and pulled the mattresses off hers and Roman’s bed again. Sprawled across them t
ogether we eventually fell asleep.

My angel was shaken yesterday. She told us every detail from the diner and the agent, who really did seem to know more than we expected. It seems Featherstone really wants to break her, but she won’t allow that to happen. We won’t either, she’s too strong for these motherfuckers.

Now we have to do something we never would normally do, and that’s trust in some guy we don’t know nearly enough about. He has until next Sunday to get back to her, or we go in guns blazing and make him. It’s as simple as that.

When we finally got back, Red had already left. She’d sent a quick text to Luna, so it was just us. Luna needed to numb her mind for a little while, and sex wasn’t the answer this time. Instead, we sat together watching action movies and snacking on everything in sight.

We laughed, we joked, and we relaxed, but we didn’t stress. It was perfect. Now today is a big day, I’ve got some alone time with Luna, which includes a trip into town and lunch with her Grandmother. The others are going to dig a little deeper into everyone trying to tear us down. Dietrichson, Veronica, my father, all of them.

Somebody needs to start paying for all of this shit they’re putting us through, putting Luna through.

Needing to get up, I try to assess how to do so without waking anyone up. There’s a leg draped over mine from behind, that is definitely too hairy to be Luna’s. She’s laying in front of me, her ass nestled perfectly against my dick, my morning wood loving it. My hand fits perfectly at her waist, but I slowly inch it from under her arm. She’s still out like a light, so I glance behind me to find it’s Oscar who’s nestled against me.

When I’ve finally maneuvered myself out of the pile of body parts, I quietly slip into the bathroom. I grab my loose grey shorts from the coffee table on the way so I can change into them after a shower.

Making quick work of washing my hair and body, it feels strange smelling of her. I use her strawberry shampoo and coconut body wash, but it’s worth it to feel a little closer to her. Flicking the shower off I wrap a towel around my waist and look over the vanity for mouthwash or anything useful for my teeth.
