“Come with me,” she cried as her mind spiraled out of control alongside her quivering body.
“Mine!” Milan’s growl made the windows tremble. He shoved into her one last time, releasing a roar as liquid warmth spread inside her. His mouth still latched to hers, he kissed her deeply. Shaking, he pushed into her for a few more counts, his large hands slowing the frenzied touches of a moment ago to tender brushes against her sensitive flesh.
Even those sweet strokes elicited pleasure in Celeste as her chamber contracted around him, needing more.
“Mine,” he said, again, after freeing her mouth and trailing kisses across her back.
Finally spent, Celeste sagged forward, her legs giving way from under her.
“Mine,” she said, too, as his strong arms pulled her against his chest.

Milan’s heart galloped inside his chest, slamming hard against his ribcage as his lungs fought to pump enough air for him to breathe. His head spun, and his eyes could barely see anything beyond the dark spots filling his vision. He shook like a leaf but refused to exit her warmth.
Finally satisfied, his wolf howled in his mind.
Celeste’s body went lax in his hold. He pulled her up, making sure he wouldn’t slip out of her and kissed the spot between her neck and shoulder.
“Celeste,” he whispered.
“Milan,” she said. Her voice was low and hoarse.
It filled him with male pride to hear the sound of his name whispered in the aftermath of their explosive lovemaking. Reluctantly, he pulled out, but only to turn her around and cradle Celeste in his arms as he took her to his bed. Milan could barely walk, but had she asked, he would have climbed Mount Rainier, blindfolded.
Women came and went from his life. Sex was usually good, sometimes memorable, but it had never been downright out of this world like it had been with Celeste.
He carefully laid her in the middle of the mattress and remained at the foot of the bed to admire her.
Celeste smiled, making a come-hither gesture.
“You are perfection.” His eyes took their fill of her generous curves. A man could die happy between her thighs, his head cushioned by her firm, full breasts. He could die happy making love to her until he couldn’t move anymore.
She blushed under his gaze, automatically closing her legs when his eyes lingered at her apex.
“Don’t,” he said, wanting to imprint the look and smell of her in his mind.
Her eyes widened, her chest rising and falling fast.
“Open your legs wide.” His eyes didn’t leave the triangle of dark curls until she obeyed. Only then did he raise his gaze to her. “Lie down and grab the bars on the headboard with both hands.”
This time, Celeste didn’t hesitate. Biting her lower lip, she slowly leaned back, her arms rising over her head as her fingers grasped the bars.
“Hold fast and don’t let go.” Milan climbed onto the bed, kneeling between her legs.
He had every intention to take things slowly this second time around and drive her crazy with want.
“I want to taste you.” He leaned in, lowering his head between her legs.
Her scent reached his nostrils, and the wolf in his head howled. His tongue dipped low, gently parting her folds. He licked her flesh, feeling the tremors still shaking her core.
“So sweet.” His words whispered against her made her tremble harder. “Like honey.” He lavished her with long strokes of his tongue.
Pleasuring her made him unbearably hard, but he wouldn’t rush the act. Usually in command of his surroundings, it was an unexpected change to have to control his reactions. Celeste had divested him of the shield he wore, and he liked it.
Her fingers found their way through his hair.
He rose, hoisting himself up on his bent elbow. “What did I say?” He gave her a long stare, eventually pointing at the headboard behind her head when she looked at him with a confused expression.
Her mouth opened on a silent “O.” She hurried to close her hands around the bedpost bars.
“Good,” he said, dipping his head between her legs once again.
He took his time exploring her supple body, enjoying her small cries, her sudden gasps, and her low, throaty moans that went straight to his groin. Cupping her beautifully round buttocks, he brought her closer to him. His fingers joined his mouth, and he lazily pumped in and out of her sheath. First with one digit, but he soon added a second to take her closer to the edge. When he felt her contract around his fingers, he gently removed them and kissed his way up to her navel.
She gave him a displeased look.
“Not yet,” he said against her breast.
His teeth teased her nipple before his lips closed around it and pulled. He repeated the treatment on the other breast, enjoying how Celeste squirmed and mewled. Her thighs trapped his lower body in a delicious vice as she pulled at the bars.
Milan alternated biting and licking her nipples, and she thrashed underneath him. His hand traveled down to her soft curls. Celeste stilled, panting.
“So ready for me,” he said, stroking her folds and nub.
“Please,” she whispered, the plea impossible to ignore any longer.
He surged and plunged into her. Celeste welcomed him into her warmth, her softness enveloping him. It felt like coming home after a hard day at work. It was just… right.
Moving slowly at first, he let her pleasure build until her moans became frantic. Only then did he unleash his lust and began relentlessly driving into her. His thrusts became faster and deeper with each of Celeste’s cries of pleasure. Her hands came down from the bars, both palms pressing against his buttocks, fingers digging into his skin.
“More.” Her hoarse whisper spurred Milan into a frenzy. “Harder.” She bucked against his loins demanding he push even deeper.
Pleasure mounting with every thrust, Milan’s pace intensified until the bed creaked loudly and the headpost banged against the wall in the most erotic rhythm. Pieces of plaster came down. The air was saturated with the scent of their furious lovemaking.
Throwing her head against the pillow, Celeste arched, pushing her full breasts against his chest. “Milan!” she shouted. Her channel pulsed around him, squeezing him hard.
Milan thrust deep, slamming hard against her. The bed violently rocked as he pushed the frame against the wall, again and again. He moved faster still. The explosive orgasm that followed stole his breath. It started in his loins, but he felt the ripples across his body as he kept giving her everything he had to give. He could barely move at the end, but Celeste was still riding her pleasure, and he rocked against her, drawing out her orgasm for as long as he could.
Finally, Celeste exhaled a low moan and relaxed underneath him, her hands unclenching and sliding up to his shoulders. Milan collapsed on top of her, seeking her soft mouth for a tender kiss as the bed gave way under them with a loud crack. Next thing he knew, they were on the floor.
“Are you okay?” Milan hoisted himself up on his bent arm, hoping he hadn’t crushed her too badly in the fall.
Celeste didn’t answer at first but stared at him with wide eyes.
“Celeste, did I hurt you?” He moved to the side, his eyes roaming all over her.
“We broke the bed,” she finally said and started laughing.
“We did.” He couldn’t help but laugh too, and his heart felt unbearably light.
12
Celeste couldn’t stop laughing. Not even in her wildest fantasies she could’ve imagined having full-fledged bed-breaking sex.
Her body tingled and ached everywhere, and it was a deliciously wicked pain. The kind of pain she could get addicted to in a very short time. In fact, just a glimpse of Milan’s body glistening under a ray of light awakened her senses, whetting her appetite for much more.
“Are you okay?” Milan asked a second time. His hand slowly followed the curve of her hip.
“Never better.” She turned to her side to face hi
m and mirrored his movements, tracing the hard planes of his sculpted muscles.
“I’m glad to hear that.” His head dipped low, trailing small kisses all over her. He tenderly brushed her nipples before lowering his mouth to her navel, and lower still. Lingering between her legs, he lavished her with soothing strokes.
“Even better now.” She moaned softly but he heard her and raised his eyes to give her a smoldering look and a naughty smile.
“That’s the point,” he said and went back to his task with renewed enthusiasm.
His skilled hands cupped her breasts, and his exacting fingers kneaded, pulled, and rolled her nipples until she felt the first spasms contracting her channel. Even though she had thought she was done for the day, blinding pleasure mounted inside Celeste, and Milan coaxed yet another orgasm from her spent body.
Afterward, he cradled her in his arms and sweetly kissed her lips. “Mine,” he said in the softest of whispers as she slipped into a deep slumber.
The smell of bacon and a beautiful tenor voice singing a rock ballad woke Celeste. After the first moment of disorientation, the lingering tingles between her legs and the broken bed reminded her of what had happened in that room earlier in the day. Milan had covered her with a worn quilt, and she draped it around herself before tiptoeing out of his bedroom.
Celeste followed the singing across a small hallway and into a cozy kitchen. The most marvelous sight welcomed her. Milan completely naked, standing in front of the stove. She tilted her head to take him in, in all his glory. His strong back was truly a work of art. It tapered down from his large shoulders to a narrow waist and hips. And that butt she had marked with her nails.
Goodness gracious, that butt… The word scrumptious came to mind.
Milan stopped singing. “There you are, sleeping beauty,” he said without turning.
“Have I slept long?” she asked, looking around. The old cuckoo clock on the wall said three in the afternoon. “Wow. I slipped into a coma.”
Milan looked at her from over his shoulder. His dark eyes shone with the mischievous light she was coming to associate with him. “You needed it,” he said, making it sound dirty. “Have a seat.” He tipped his chin, pointing at the kitchen table. “It’s going to be ready in a minute.”
Celeste lowered herself on a rickety chair that looked as old as the cuckoo clock. “Is this place yours?” She looked around, noting the dark timbers on the ceiling, and the worn hardwood floor. A few wooden furniture pieces decorated the small room.
Milan moved from the stove to the cupboard to grab two plates. “It’s been in my family for a few generations. My great-grandfather moved to the Pacific Northwest escaping persecution. My grandmother was human, and his old pack didn’t accept her. So, he started a new life and a new pack here at Angel’s Pass.” While talking, he dished out the food, placing a heaping portion of bacon and eggs in front of her.
She dug into the meal with enthusiasm. “This bacon is so crispy, and the eggs are so fluffy—” She moaned in appreciation.
“Watching you eat is making me hard again,” Milan said, giving her a lustful stare that froze her hand holding the fork. “Don’t stop.” He reached across the table and guided the fork to her mouth.
Under his stare, she chewed the bacon, feeling warm all over.
“So beautiful.” His hand left hers to trail down her cheek, her throat, caressing her naked shoulder, and gently lowering the quilt she hugged to her chest.
The fabric slid against her skin ever so slowly, uncovering the top of her breast. Milan traced the edge of the quilt, inching underneath, brushing her peaking nipple. Her next moan had nothing to do with the delicious food he had prepared for her.
His mouth took the place of his finger as his hands lowered the quilt to her waist, baring her to him. The next thing she knew, he wiped the table clean, sending the dishes to the floor before spreading her on it. Poised at her entrance, he waited for her assent she immediately gave. The moment he entered her, something shifted inside her as well. The pleasure he gave her was overwhelming, but it was the emotion building inside her chest that left Celeste breathless.
Tears pooled at the corners of her eyes.
“Celeste,” Milan stopped thrusting into her and raised her to him. “What’s wrong, baby?”
When she didn’t answer, he leaned away to look at her. “Oh, gods, I hurt you. I’m so sorry—”
She shook her head. “No, no, you didn’t hurt me.” Unable to say anything else, she burrowed into his embrace, her mouth seeking his.
His kiss was tender and melted her heart even more. Lost in the moment, Celeste moved against him, and Milan resumed thrusting into her in long strokes. He made love to her, moving at the rhythm of the oldest melody in the world, a celestial harmony only heard by lovers in the throes of passion.
As he kissed her deeply, she felt the mounting tide of her orgasm building in her core. Milan upped his pace, taking her over the edge as he, too, reached his release. They came at the same time, their mouths united, and their bodies moving in perfect sync.

As he looked at the perfect woman in his arms, Milan felt his heart beat faster.
He didn’t have a name for the strong emotion filling his chest. Whatever it was, it threatened to spill out, though, and formed a lump in his throat.
“Celeste,” he whispered, caressing her back. Another man, one more skilled with words, would have told her pretty nothings, anything to make her feel better. He wasn’t a sophisticated man and could only show her how he felt with a long kiss.
When he leaned away, he saw that Celeste’s eyes were still bright. When she smiled, a tear trailed down her beautiful face. She shivered, and he cradled her closer to him as he bent to grab the quilt from the chair where it lay forgotten.
“Are you okay?” he asked, covering them both with the worn quilt that had been his blanket when he was a baby.
Celeste nodded, more tears falling.
“Why are you crying then?” he asked.
Deep inside, he knew the answer to that question, because he, too, felt the need to express the overwhelming feeling growing inside him.
“They’re happy tears,” she said. “I’ve never felt this way, this whole—”
Milan brushed her lips. “I know.”
“I’ve never gone to a stranger’s house,” she continued. “Never had a one-night stand. Never had sex on a first date either.” She chuckled, shaking her head. “Scratch that. I’ve never had sex with a guy unless we were in a solid relationship.”
Milan let her talk.
“But the moment I saw you, something clicked in my mind and in my body, and I had to have you.” She looked at him with her big eyes that seemed to reach deep inside his soul with just a gaze.
“The sentiment is mutual,” he confessed. “I couldn’t dislodge your memory from here.” He pressed her palm against his chest.
“Promise me you won’t get spooked if I tell you something.” Celeste lowered her eyes as an adorable flush reddened her cheeks and throat, spreading down to her breasts.
He placed a finger under her chin and raised her face. Smiling, he said, “You can tell me anything.”
“Promise me, though.” She bit her lower lip, her blush spreading even further down, distracting him.
Milan raised one hand, palm up. “I promise.”
“I came to Angel’s Pass to meet you,” she whispered, lowering her eyes again.
“You came here to meet me,” he repeated, and again pushed her chin up. “How?” He kissed her tenderly. “You can tell me anything, really.”
“I used a dating agency.”
“Okay—” He motioned for her to say more, but she remained silent. “You used a dating agency, but how did you end up here?” he said, hoping she would add to her tale. “I wasn’t aware that Angel’s Pass was an Ok Cupid hot spot for singles.”
His attempt at a joke didn’t register with Celeste, who frowned at him. “It wasn’t just
any agency. It was the Paranormal Dating Agency, and the owner Gerri Wilder knows things.” She made a wave with her hand that could have meant anything.
“This Gerri Wild told you to come to Angel’s Pass to meet me.”
“She told me I would find my mate here.” She shrugged. “I didn’t know your name or anything, but…”
“But?”
“I saw you before we met.”
“You saw me around town?”
“No, I saw you in my mind.”
“Okay.”
“You promised you weren’t going to make fun of me.”
“I’m not.” He leaned in to kiss the point of her nose. “I wouldn’t dare.”
Celeste looked at him for the longest time before she started talking again. “I was taking a bath—”
“I like that already,” Milan said, raising his hand to her cheek, now deep red and warm to the touch.
Breathing harder, Celeste continued, “I was just chilling in the tub when you appeared in my mind. I have no idea how that happened, but I saw you as if you were in front of me.” She leaned against his hand. “When I saw you on the trail, I couldn’t believe you were real. And then this madness started—”
“And it’s impossible to resist. I know.” He wanted to say more, to let her understand how grateful he was to the fates and this Gerri Wilder woman who had sent Celeste straight into his arms. Most of all, he was happy that Celeste had taken such a huge leap of faith. “Thank you for traveling all the way here to meet a stranger,” he finally said.
A small smile gracing her full mouth, she shook her head. “I’ve never done anything like this.”
“I’ve never brought a woman home,” Milan confessed. He also had plenty of one-night stands, but he wouldn’t tell her that.
