The Sun Rose over Cairo

She focused on him again. His silhouette was extraordinary in the dim lighting of the room. His pectoral muscles rippled underneath her touch as she played with his nipples, turning them into super charged buds of pleasure. The smooth powerful muscles of his arms tore at her sheets and the steely contours of his flat stomach jumped as she touched him and his aching penis bounced against her. She reached out to touch his full sensual lips that begged to be kissed…licked…sucked. She wanted to do all of that at one time, but she had to tend to the throbbing erection that threatened to stab her in the back if backed up even an inch, first, but unable to hold back, she leaned forward and kissed him then whispered against his lips.

  “Jose…”

Jose licked his lips and grabbed her by the waist, surprising her. With lust giving more power to his strength and over riding his more demure nature he flipped her over reversing their positions. She looked up into the raw lust that burned behind the eyes of this serene and quiet man she was getting to know and almost didn’t recognize him. Only for another second did he hesitate as he asked silently for permission to continue. She nodded slightly and he gave in to his most primal urge that was now in complete control of him. She accepted him willingly as he pushed his engorged flesh into her wet canal and together they released a sigh of pure bliss.

For a long time he stayed embedded inside her, enjoying the sweetness of just being there. He rested his face in the crook of her neck breathing in the scent that was her.

  “Cairo, I’m afraid to move. I don’t, I don’t know…” he whispered.

She smiled and whispered back, “I know. It’s ok; this one is just for you.”

Unable to control the burning lust and desire for her that was in rising within him he pushed himself up on his hands and made his first movement. As he pulled back a cry of joy like she never heard. He moved again and bit his lip to quiet himself. His whole body began to shake from the pleasure of it. Beginning a primal rhythm his strokes became more insistent, more sensual as he moved.

Cairo watched him at first as his blatant abandon to the incredible feeling took him over, but the feeling he was giving them both reached up and pulled her in as well. It wasn’t long before her moans and cries mixed with his and she moved beneath him meeting his every thrust. His manly smell engulfed her as he moved into frenzied fervor, pumping into her faster and faster. She sensed he was almost there and matched his every more, gripping his tight buttocks pushing him further into her. He called out her name and with a howl of unspeakable joy he released that which had been building for years. The sound pierced her loins taking her with him and her heart at the same time. He was locked in position poised with his face lifted to the ceiling as he welcomed the thunderstorm of pleasure that now rained down on him.

After a few moments he fell onto her and she wrapped her arms around him and happily drowned in it with him. She held him for a long while until he recovered enough to roll off of her then gathered her into his arms and sleep captured them both.

  Chapter 9

Monday morning dawned bright and warm as Cairo left for work. Detective Campbell was waiting for her when she arrived.

  “Good morning, Ms. Ivory.”

“Detective Campbell, it’s nice to see you again so soon. What can I do for you?” She walked to her office with him in her wake.

“Some new evidence has been uncovered, Ms. Ivory. I need to ask you a few more questions…if you don’t mind.”

  “No, no, that’s fine. I don’t mind.”

“I have a few pictures to show you.” He laid several pictures photos across her desk. She pulled the pictures closer to her. “Can you identify anyone in these pictures?” He pulled out his pad and pen.

“Hmm, well, this one is Kimberly Davies. She used to work here for several years, but she left right before I came here two years ago. She’s at Masters, Smith and Hopkins now.”

“Two years ago? Do you know why she left?”

“She was up for partner and didn’t get it. She felt she grew all she could here.”

  “Really? Was she angry?”

“I don’t think so. Mr. Townsend gave her the recommendation that got her the job at the firm she’s at now. They were very happy to receive her.”

“If he thought so highly of her, why didn’t he pick her for a partner?”

“All the current partners have to agree on another partner, not just one.

He wrote on his pad. “Ok. Do you see anyone else?”

She flipped through the pictures and shook her head. “No, sorry, that’s it.”

He stood and offered her his hand. “Thanks for your time, Ms. Ivory. I’ll be in touch if I have any more questions.”

A short while later a voice over the phone interrupted her thoughts.

  “Cairo!”

  Yes, Keisha.”

  “Ms. Davies--”

Keisha’s warning was drowned out by her doors slamming open and Kimberly Davies swept into her office. Cairo answered her anyway.

  “Thanks Keisha.”

“Cairo, how long is this damn case going to take? When I was handling these types of cases, it never took this long when they were uncontested.”

She stood and greeted her. “Good morning Ms. Davies. I don’t believe our next meeting isn’t until Wednesday at 10:30,” she said pleasantly.

Kimberly sat in the chair. “I know that. I want to know why this is taking so long.”

She sat and spoke calmly. “Ms. Davies this office does not revolve around you. You can’t just barge into my office when ever you feel like it and demand an update from me. I have other clients and my time must be respected. That’s why I gave you an appointment. Do you understand?”

“Ok, ok, I’m sorry and yes, I understand. Do you have time for an impromptu meeting?”

“What do you want to talk about that can’t wait until Wednesday?”

“Cairo, I want to know what’s going on. I want this over. I have my life back and he’s intruding into it again. Everything is mine. I stayed with him long enough to earn everything on the list.”

She raised an eyebrow. “What list?”

She produced a tablet size piece of paper. “This list.”

Cairo looked over the list and chuckled disbelievingly. “This list looks like it could be everything you’ve accumulated over all the years you were married.”

“It is. Well, except those last three. He received that list right before the divorce. As you can see the rings are on the list. So, why do we even have to go through this?”

“You’re not serious, are you? He asked you to remove the rings from this list and you didn’t. He has a right to take you back to court.”

“You don’t sound like you’re on my side, Cairo.”

“Of course I’m on your side. I’m just answering your question.” She looked at the list again. “This list doesn’t look like a compromise to me.”

  “That’s because it’s not. I don’t compromise well.”

  “Not even in your marriage?”

  “Especially not my marriage.”

“Trying to compromise on this would make this whole situation between you and your ex a lot smoother.”

“I don’t care about making things smoother for him. Now that I’ve almost achieved my goals at Masters, Smith and Hopkins and he’s out of my life, I can make a power connection.” She stood and swept toward the door. “I’ve taken enough of your time, Cairo. You have all you need from me, get us into court as soon as possible, my future awaits,” she said over her shoulder as she swung the doors open and swept through them.

Cairo looked at the list again and shook her head. “Keisha, what time is my first appointment?”

  “It’s at 10 o’clock with Mr. Mills.”

“Thanks.” She looked at her watch and picked up the phone. “Yes, can I speak to Lavita Reyes on 2C.” She tapped her pen as she waited to be connected.

  “Yes, hello. This is Lavita.”

  “Hi, Lavita,
it’s me.”

“What’s up, Cairo. It’s a little early in the day for you. Is everything okay?”

“Yes, everything’s fine. I was just wondering if you were free for lunch. I wanted to talk to you.”

“Lunch? I don’t know. We’re down two people on day shift and someone has already called in for second shift.”

  “Oh, ok. That’s fine.”

She could here her friend’s disappointment. “Why don’t you come over for dinner tonight? Can it wait until then? If not I’ll see if I can rearrange some things--”

“No, no, dinner is fine. It can wait. Thanks, Lavita.”

“Sure thing and bring some of that wine we had at the other day. It was good. See you tonight.”

  “See you later, bye.”

As soon as she put the receiver in its cradle Keisha buzzed in. “Cairo, Mr. Mills is here.”

“Thank you Keisha, send him in.”

After a busy day at the office she was ready to get off and meet her friend for some R&R. A quick stop at her house to change and grab two bottles of wine and she was off to Lavita’s.

“Hey, girl, you’re right on time as always,” Lavita said when she opened the door.

“Yup and here’s the wine. It’s already chilled so we could have a glass while you‘re cooking.” She followed her to the kitchen.

“That’s cool, but I’m already done. You can pour the wine and I’ll make the plates.”

Together they ate and spoke of how their day went after speaking earlier and of their other friends. When they were done they moved the conversation and the wine to living room to relax.

“So, what’s up, Cairo? We’ve talked about everything except the real reason you wanted to talk to me. What’s really going on?”

She chuckled. “You think you know me so well.”

She smiled. “I do, now talk.”

“I went to dinner with Jose last night.”

“Yes, I remember you said you guys had a date. I spotted him twice today, he was all smiles, but he didn’t have time to talk and neither did I. How was it?”

“It was great. We went to Steak and Ale. It was very couple oriented and romantic. I had the New York strip he had the T-bone. The food was really good.”

  “How was dessert?”

She nodded. “Dessert was really good. I had him; he had me, served up extremely hot, too.” She sipped her drink and watched her friend’s reaction over her glass.

“What? “ Lavita choked taking a sip from her glass and spilled her wine in her lap. “Shit! Hold that thought.” She sprang to her feet and moved quickly to the kitchen.

Cairo sat back trying muffle her laughter as her friend cleaned her spot.

“Now…what did you just say? Did I hear you correctly? What exactly does that mean?”

She giggled. “You know exactly what I mean. We had each other for dessert.”

Lavita’s laugh was genuine and happy as she refilled their glasses. “Well it’s about time. A toast! To you and many more sexual encounters in your future!”

They laughed, clicked glasses and drank to her toast.

“Tell me all about it. I want to know everything. He so cute it would be a shame if he couldn’t fuck. Is he as fine as he appears when he’s fully dressed?”

“Oh, yes, he’s definitely that fine when he isn’t and you don’t have to worry about him not knowing what he’s doing, he’s a natural.”

  “Ooo, was it good?”

  “Oh, yes, it was fantastic.”

“Not just good because you haven’t had any kind of good, right? It was the kind of good that’s better than the good you remember having, right?”

“Yes, it was that kind of good,” she agreed with a giggle. “It was stretch in the sun like a cat, kind of good.”

“Now see, that’s what I’m talking about. Now that’s good,” she said laughing. “You both had steak. What did you talk about?”

“Well, at first we were just chit chatting, and then we got on the subject of his wife and marriage.”

“His wife? I hope you moved off that one quickly. That’s not good first date conversation.”

“No, but that’s what took us to the conversation of he hadn’t had sex since before they split up. We’re working on about the same time frame,” she said with a laugh.

“Wow. I didn’t think men could hold out that long.”

She nodded and finished her drink. “That’s just the thing, Lavita. His wife had to be crazy. She all but abused him. He said she was a virgin like him when they got married, but I don’t believe that.”

  “He was a virgin?”

“Keep up, Lavita. She did terrible things to him during sex.”

  “Like what?”

“Well, first she only had intercourse with him when they first got married and didn’t do it again.” She watched the stunned look on her friends face and nodded. “Yeah, and then she turned him onto some painful sex acts and told him everyone does t like that. Scratching, biting and pinching--”

“Now, Cairo, a little scratching ain’t bad. I mean, if you’re into that--”

“Lavita, no, not like that, I mean, you know, down there.”

  “Oh.”

“Yeah, so he thinks sex is supposed to be painful for the men and he is there to sexually fulfill the woman and then go home and fulfill himself.

“What the hell? She is crazy if she thinks that.”

“Yeah, I know.” She grabbed her glass. “Fill me up.”

“So you showed him how it really is and proved the wife wrong, right?”

“Yeah, I tried. I couldn’t let him keep on believing that. He was a virgin, she was our only representative and she messed his mind up. I couldn’t let him leave thinking that was the way it is.”

“That’s my girl. Did you put it on him, Cairo?”

She giggled. “Well, I made sure we had some serious intercourse so he could erase that first encounter from his memory. His wife hadn‘t had intercourse with him since they first were married because children weren‘t in their immediate future. She said it was messy.”

“Messy? Shit, that’s the best part,” she said laughing. “Was he rusty?”

“Rusty? Oh, God no. He was fantastic, a natural. Just thinking back is getting me all hot and bothered.” She chuckled.

“You know you opened up a whole can of worms now.”

  “What do you mean?”

“Girl, you done showed that man the way it is and believe me, he loved it and will want more of it. When are you going to see him again?”

“I don’t know, he was gone when I woke up this morning.”

“Well, you have to see him again and soon.”

“Why? I’m ok with this being a one night stand. I just didn’t want the knowledge his wife left him with to all he knew.”

“That’s why you have to see him again. One night isn’t enough to take away years of painful sex. You have to give him some more and when you do go down on him.”

  “What? No way!”

“Think of it as helping our fellow man and lifting your species to a higher level. Could you imagine what he thought about women until he made love to you? From what you’ve said he’s been getting the short end of the stick for a long time. Show him what he’s been missing. It’s time someone pampered him and is nice to Mr. Winky for a change,” she added with a wink and a chuckle. “You could change this man’s whole way of thinking and his life. Besides, having the power to melt a man that big and that fine, huh, it can change a woman. Think about it.”

Cairo finished her drink as she thought about it. She thought about it all the way home. She arrived at her house to see a large box across the top of the steps blocking the way to the porch. Smiling, she grabbed the box and took it inside. Inside were a dozen roses and a card.

I saw the dying flowers in the vase on your table as I was leaving this morning.

I thought these would look better. I hope you like them.

  Th
ank you for last night. You were incredible.

  Call me. 555-3222

  Your friend and maybe more,

  Jose

Her smile was ear to ear as she replaced the old flowers with the roses. She took another looked at the card before putting it on the table next to the roses. Kicking her shoes off, she slipped into her slippers, made some hot chocolate. As she sat on the couch and she picked up the phone.

  “Yes, hello.”

  “Hi, Jose, it’s Cairo.”

“Hi, I’m so glad you called. Did you get the roses?”

“Yes, they’re beautiful, thank you. You were right they do look better than the ones I had.”

“Oh, no thank you. Thank you for being a friend, especially for last night and for opening my eyes.”

  “You’re welcomed.”

“I, I’d like to see you again, Cairo. Not just because of the sex,” he added quickly. “I mean, I’d liked to, but if you don’t want to--”

She giggled. “I’d like to see you again, too. When?”

“Well, right now. Can I come over now?”

“Oh, no not now, Jose. I just got back from Lavita’s house and I’m tired.”

His disappointment rang clear across the line. “Oh, ok, I understand.”

“Jose, I want to see you, just not tonight. Are you free tomorrow? You can come over for dinner.”

“Yes, that would be great. Can I cook dinner for you?”

  “You cook?”

He chuckled. “I have to eat, don’t I? Yes, and I cook very well, too.”

“Uh-huh, I bet you were a chef in a former life.”

“Do I detect some disbelief in your tone?”

  She chuckled. “A little, yeah.”

“Oh really? Well, I insist that you let me prove you wrong and remove that disbelief from your tone. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised, too. Is it a date?”
