Bad Boy vs Millionaire

“So, are we going to celebrate or do you two want to be alone?” Angie asked with a cheeky wink.
“There will be no celebrating and there will be no alone time. You guys have a very important tour starting in a two days’ time. What the hell are you all doing here? As your manager, I want you in the rehearsal studio until your fingers bleed. I'm broke again now. I need you to make me money!”
But, as Jack closed his hand in mine, I figured maybe we could have some alone time.
Chapter 37. Hannah
That night with Jack was like nothing I’d ever imagined. The night on the car had been intense and crazy but it’d left me feeling hollow inside. It was just fucking with no connection.
But this, this was something else entirely.
Eric had decided to stay somewhere else and give us the place to ourselves. I wasn’t sure if that was because he felt generous or if he felt squeamish about being around us. Either way, it was probably a good thing he wasn’t there.
We started off slowly, neither of us in a rush because we knew that we had all the time in the world stretched out in front of us.
He slowly undressed me, trailing spider fingers over my skin. That made my flesh so sensitive that I craved him like mad. Still, he lay beside me, tracing me like he wanted to memorise my body with his hands.
Then I did the same to him, getting to know every ridge and muscle of his body, exploring them with my fingers and my tongue. Getting to know his smells and his taste and the way it varied from top to bottom. The musky scent filled me like an aphrodisiac. I traced his muscles and I traced his scar.
“I told you I’d make you forget your rich boyfriend,” he whispered with a sly grin. I didn’t answer but couldn’t deny it.
His fingers curled in my hair, bringing my lips to his.
He kissed me as though he’d never kissed me before. Not a kiss of possession or a kiss of plunder but a kiss of two souls finding each other. A kiss that reverberated to the root of my being. A kiss that marked me as his forever.
When I could stand it no longer, he moved inside me. He moved so languidly, I felt as though we were underwater. An ebb and flow that filled me and surged through me, as though everything in my life had been building to this point.
Our bodies melded together, his hot skin against mine. All the longings I’d held within me to touch him, that had not been satisfied the first time we had sex, were now fulfilled.
I matched his rhythm perfectly, as his thrusts became faster and more urgent.
Until he could hold back no longer and shuddered into climax.
Before I even recovered, he was ready for more, pulling me on top of him. I raked my nails down his body as I rocked my hips to enjoy the sensation of his cock.
I thought I could tease him in the same way he’d teased me but, when his fingers moved against my clit, I lost all will to hold back.
Thrashing and rearing until my screams filled my ears and my pussy clenched tight around him as though it never wanted to let go.
I'd been worried about spending the whole night with him because of his night terrors. I didn't want to have him attack me in his sleep frenzy again and figured I'd move to the couch after we finished.
Except there was no moment when I could separate myself from him, no moment where I could stand the thought of my skin not touching his. We moved from sleep to fucking to sleep to fucking again, so that it merged into a crazy dream.
***
Jack wasn’t in the bed when I woke.
I reached for him, wondering when we'd untangled during the night but there was an empty spot beside me where he should be. I hoped that meant he was making me coffee.
But I heard voices on the street. Loud voices outside the window, loud enough for me to know they were angry but not loud enough for me to hear what they were saying.
I tiptoed to the window and slowly slid it open. Below me, on the doorstep, Jack stood talking to someone I couldn't see.
“I don't want the bloody money,” Jack said. “Take it and leave me alone.”
“You were the one that contacted me. You needed me to help you out and I came through for you. Remember that. You didn’t have your pride them.”
They both fell silent and I knew that silence of Jack’s. That angry, desperate silence. Like he wanted to say so much but he was cornered. He’d angrily stare instead or maybe not make eye contact all.
Finally, I heard the door open and close. Jack had come back inside.
As the other man walked off, I moved away from the window, out of sight. But I realised with a shock, the man walking down the street was familiar. I knew who he was.
Frank, my father's lawyer.
That's a strange coincidence, I thought. Then it struck me. Was it a coincidence at all? Jack had a dark shadow over his past and I needed to get to the bottom of it.

About Me
Candy J. Starr used to be a band manager until she realised that the band she managed was so lacking in charisma that they actually sucked the charisma out of any room they played. “Screw you,” she said, leaving them to wallow in obscurity–totally forgetting that they owed her big bucks for video equipment hire.
Candy has filmed and interviewed some big names in the rock business, and a lot of small ones. She’s seen the dirty little secrets that go on in the back rooms of band venues. She’s seen the ugly side of rock and the very pretty one.
But, of course, everything she writes is fiction.
