  I Want You So Much…

  Tia Louise

  Mark

Lara’s so pretty walking beside me in the fading sunlight. The trees cast speckled shadows over everything and occasionally a breeze freshens our faces. It smells like rain and the promise of fall touches us on every other gust.

Her hand has been in mine or on my arm most of the afternoon, and it’s so easy walking and talking with her.

“Will you go to the police academy now?” Her pretty blue eyes meet mine, and a touch of worry is in them. I don’t want to be stupid and think she cares if I leave… but maybe?

I pull open the theater door, and we enter through the dark lobby. “Going to the academy costs money. More than I have right now.”

She stops and faces me in the empty hall. “What will you do? The crew usually leaves once the set work is done.”

I rub my forehead, thinking about what Gavin said. His knowledge of my uncle… my limited knowledge of what Rick did, how he died… My creeping sense that working for Gavin would make me one of the bad guys.

Then I see her pretty face.

I saw her beautiful body two nights ago… But she’s not like the other girls. When she’s with me, it doesn’t feel like she has an agenda. She’s just sweet and smart and a little shy.

Shoving my concerns aside, I decide to stay. “Gavin wants me to do some work for him. He said he’s starting something new.”

Her brow lowers, and she touches my arm. “You need to be careful with him.” Her face is serious, and I take her hand, holding it in my bandaged ones.

She cares, but I have no reason to believe it’s more than friendship. Or gratitude.

  “I get that feeling.”

Our eyes meet, and she steps closer. When she stands in front of me, she seems so small.

“What did you want to do?” My voice is soft, and I reach up to lightly slide a curl off her cheek. She blinks slowly, thinking.

“Since I was young, I always wanted to be a singer.”

  “You have a beautiful voice.”

“But once you go down this road, it’s like you can’t seem to get off it.”

My chest tightens, and I lift her small hand in mine. “Sounds like we’re both making critical decisions.”

I won’t leave her to take this step alone. The pull in my chest is too strong. I have to keep her safe from things that would hurt her, from the men who come here, from the way the crew talks about the girls. From the way some of the girls see themselves…

“You’re so good.” Her voice is soft, and she traces her finger along the bandage before lifting her blue eyes to meet mine. “Thank you for buying me lunch. For saving me…”

Without warning, she steps forward and wraps her arms around my waist, pressing her face against my chest, and I don’t hold back. She fits perfectly in my arms, and I inhale the sweet scent of her hair just before I press my lips to the top of her head.

Her voice is muffled against my shirt. “It feels so safe here.”

“Lara,” I whisper in her hair. “I want to keep you safe.”

She pulls back, and I loosen my hold. But she doesn’t leave. She puts her hand against my cheek, lifting her chin as she rises higher on her toes. Hell if I make her work for it.

Leaning forward, I capture her lips. They part, and our tongues meet, curling together as I hug her closer to me. She exhales a little noise, and her fingers thread in the sides of my hair. I trace a line with my lips to her ear.

“I want you so much,” I whisper.

She turns, searching for my mouth, and I kiss her. She fists my shirt in her hands, pulling it up and placing her palm against my bare stomach. I groan deeply, and my hands slide under her ass. I lift her against my chest, and her legs go around my waist. Our kisses are wildfire, fast-moving, lips pulling, hungry for something more. Something just within reach.

She moves subtly against my waist, and the blood rushes downward. I’m hard and she’s riding me, stroking my erection with her crotch.

  “Lara,” I groan.

Her lips still, and she holds my cheeks, looking into my eyes. “That night on the catwalk… The way you looked at me…”

My brow collapses at the memory. “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

“I only want you to see me.”

Her lips are pink and swollen from my kisses. I lean forward and kiss her again, tasting her like she’s water in the desert. She exhales a little noise, and it’s a charge straight to my cock.

I love her lips. I love her mouth. I want more. I want all of her.

She’s so pretty walking beside me in the fading sunlight. The trees cast speckled shadows over everything and occasionally a breeze freshens our faces. It smells like rain and the promise of fall touches us on every other gust.

  Prettier When You Pout

  Willow Winters

His face scrunches in sympathy. “Sorry about that,” he says, taking the shirt from my hands and letting his strong fingers brush against mine. They’re rough to the touch and send sparks of want through me, even as the soreness between my thighs intensifies by the second. Dean’s damn good at what he does. I’ll give him that.

“You want me to get you a new one?” he asks me.

“Why? So you can rip that one up too?”

“What else am I good for?” he jokes as I shake my head and stare back down at the ruined fabric in my hands.

“I knew you were bad news,” I tell him and again it’s meant as a tease, to come out playfully and add to the banter between us.

“You don’t know my story,” he says, and his voice comes out hard. No humor, only defensiveness.

I’m caught off guard as I watch him bend down for his shirt first. Still completely naked, but he reaches for the shirt.

“Really?” I tease him, pretending the tension doesn’t exist. I wait for him to look up at me and that guarded expression still clouds his handsome face. It calls to me differently than before. My fingers itch to touch his jaw. To calm the sadness, but I resist. “Your shirt is what you go for first?” I keep my voice light and he huffs out a breath but lets the smile grow on his face.

“It’s for you,” he tells me as he balls it up and then hands it to me. “Since you’re so hellbent on having me rip another shirt off you.”

The laughter that erupts from me at his response is genuine, as is the warmth that flows through me.

“It’s been a while since I’ve smiled this hard,” I confess and then bite back the happiness and the honesty in that statement.

“That’s a shame,” Dean says and pulls back the shirt before I can take it. “You’ve got a beautiful smile.” He leaves it hanging there in the air, and I take the bait, reaching out and trying to snatch it from him. A rough chuckle fills the air between us when I miss.

“You want it?” he asks me with a smirk on his face.

Do I want his shirt? I think to myself. I’m in my own damn house. I could go upstairs and put on whatever I want. But do I want his? The one he’s taunting me with? Not to mention the only shirt he has here.

I nod once, feeling my hair tickle my back. The stare between us grows hotter as he takes a half step back, but holds out the shirt. My heart beats faster with each passing second and the tips of my fingers glide against one another as he shakes it, as if to say, “Here, it’s all yours.”

I act as fast as I can, reaching for it and tearing it from him, but it’s in vain.

He let me have it. Without a fight in the least.

The cotton shirt is bunched in my hands as he drops his to his side and scratches his abs.

“Aw, you’re even prettier when you pout,” he mocks me, and I roll my eyes, tossing his shirt carelessly behind him.

“You’re no fun,” I tell him, catching my bottom lip between my teeth. He takes a large stride toward me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me against his hard chest before I can blink.

“Allie Cat, all you have to do is tell me you want it,” he says as I gasp and reach both my hands up to his bare chest. My heart races and my blood heats as he lowers his lips to the shell of my ear. “Sometimes it’s fun to take, but we both know how that would end between us,” he whispers, and it sends a chill across my skin.

He nips at my neck and then runs the tip of his nose along my jaw. My eyes close slowly as I lift my lips up to his. The first kiss is gradual, teasing even; I’m still reeling from his comment. The second is deeper but the moment his tongue slips across the seam of my lips, I have to laugh. His dick is hard again and poking me in my stomach.

I pull away from him, but with just my upper half, seeing as how he still has a firm grip on my waist.

“Already wanting more?” I tease him. He groans deep in the back of his throat and presses another kiss to my lips. This time I open my mouth, greeting his hot tongue with swift, deep strokes of my own.

I moan into his mouth as he slowly unbuttons my shorts and yanks them down, shoving his hands between my legs and cupping my pussy like he owns it. My neck arches and my strangled cry of pleasure is muted when Dean covers my mouth with his. He devours me forcefully and unapologetically.

And I can’t bring myself to regret it.

Not this time and not the next. And not even when I wake up early in the morning to find he’s already gone but left his shirt behind with a note telling me it’s mine to keep until he replaces the other.

At least he left a note. I’ll give him that.

  A Kiss of Forever

  K.C. Lynn

It’s been a few days since I found Christopher in the music room and worked up the courage to speak to him. Other than a smile and a hi here and there, we haven’t had the chance to speak again. I worried he was avoiding me. It hurt to think that he doesn’t feel this same connection as I do. However, my insecurity was laid to rest when I opened my locker today and found the small present inside. There was no note but it wasn’t necessary. I know exactly whom it’s from. My heart is still bursting from the sweet gesture.

By the time I arrive at the skateboard park, I’m out of breath and have a cramp in my side but it’s worth the sharp pain when I find Christopher alone. His back is to me as his skateboard slides up the half-pipe onto the metal bar. He glides across the beam effortlessly, his body twisting with precision and skill as he skates back down.

I smile at the silver headphones slung around his neck, music blasting loudly from them. His lips move as he mouths the song. One I have no doubt he could sing better.

I take advantage of the moment, my eyes drinking him in. Christopher doesn’t dress like the other kids at our school and I like that about him. Where most of the guys are clean-cut jocks, Christopher is not. He often wears a black hat, his brown hair long enough to poke out the bottom. His dark jeans are loose and well worn, a black belt with metal spikes cinched low on his hips. Today he wea
rs a plain white T-shirt with his usual black hoodie that’s been left unzipped. The sleeves are pushed up his forearms, revealing a thick black band on his left wrist, something I noticed he began wearing after he moved in with Faith. I like it. It suits him.

My feet start forward, butterflies flocking in my tummy. “I see you have more than one talent.”

His head snaps up in surprise and he comes to a stop, stomping on the edge of the skateboard to make it pop into his hand. The simple act is crazy hot.

“And I see you still enjoy intruding on someone’s private time,” he tosses back, but his tone is light.

  “Public place again, Dennison, remember?”

He grunts but says nothing else.

“Does that mean you want me to leave?” I hold my breath, praying the answer will be what I think it is.

  “No.”

Smiling, I reach into the side pocket of my book bag and pull out the pack of pink Hubba Bubba gum that was in my locker. “Did you leave this for me?”
