Jake bit on the side of his mouth not to grin. He wasn't stupid. He could read her like a first grade open book. Obviously she'd gone there and thought since Sylvia wasn't home, she could get it on with his brother. He couldn't wait to hear the other side, however... she looked good.

"Well the important thing is that you get your car. Where's your room? Did you check out of the Super 8 yet?" He asked.

"No... I still have it, I just came here to get me something to eat. Then try and figure out how to get to my car." She stated softly, her eyes on him, giving him all the signals of a train coming, flashing reds, as well the ding ding ding of the alarm.

"What's your room number?" He asked, his eyes promising to give her exactly what she came looking for, without saying it.

  Edwina felt her heart pounding.

"22 - top floor." She gasped feeling energy coming down from him. His eyes were hypnotic.

"I'll be there in no time. Let me take these sandwiches by my brothers, I'll borrow his truck - come back - and uh... we'll discuss me, giving you a ride ... ah ... me taking you to get your car. That way you can uh... carry on."

"Oh, okay... I'd like that, thanks... I'll be waiting."

Jake wasted little time walking to the house, he took the sandwiches in looking for Shawn. He went to his bedroom door, tapped lightly and looked in. Shawn was not there, he went into the basement and found him laying on the sofa bed, knocked out. Quietly, he put the sandwiches in the refrigerator. Looked for Shawn's keys to his truck, leaving him a note to say that he'd borrowed it and would be back in a couple of hours with it so they could get to work.

He trotted across the road, noticed that everyone there was gone. He went in the garage, started the truck opening the garage door and back out, closing it back. He drove straight away to the Super 8. Jogged up the steps and went to room 22, knocked on the door, happy that he'd just picked up a fresh box of condoms. Edwina opened it and smiled invitingly up at him, welcoming him inside. For the next hour, he gave her exactly what she came there for, unrestrained - hardcore - explosive sex. By the time he was done with her, she could barely walk. Her body, her lower belly and uterus hurt like she'd never experienced before. When he finished with her, leaving the bathroom, and grinning about it, he asked, "Ready to go get that car now?"

She had an ugly feeling looking at him, she'd just been used. She'd had no control over him, he'd often ignored her cries of pain and discomfort. She thought she could handle him. She thought she would find pleasure with a man well endowed. He'd been bigger than Shawn, painfully bigger. Now all she could do was walk carefully, keeping her eyes from him.

"You all right?" He asked fighting a grin.

"Fuck you." She snapped nasty, hating that he laughed at her.

"You tried your best... although I must admit, I've had women do a better job of it.; you know, keeping up. Oh well, obviously you're just an amateur."

  "That shit hurt!" She accused.

"Not the whole time - I made you cum twice - did I not?!" Which he had, it was after she'd gotten her thrill that he turned loose on her.

She rolled her eyes at him.

"You want me to take you to your car or not?"

"Yes motherfucker of course I do... shit! For what I just let you have, you aught to be following my ass back home!"

"Got no time for that... not today. Let's get going then." He returned un-fazed by her displeasure. He knew without hearing what happened with her. He was certain that when Shawn woke and told him his side, he will have pegged her for what she was. Thirty minutes later, he dropped her off at her car, there was a state trooper parked behind it when they pulled up. He left her there to speak with them and went back to this brother's. It was almost twelve o'clock. Shawn still wasn't up. Jake grabbed one of the sandwiches he bought and went up stairs after making himself a cup of coffee. He was feeling good. He went to the phone and dialled Vivian's number.

  "Hello?"

"Hey lil'girl - so you still off work hm?" He asked smiling, overjoyed to hear her voice.

"Oh hi!? Yeah... I'm still off, packing like crazy. I uh... got a place now. I'm so happy, its right over from Dennis and Sheila, very similar to the house I'm leaving, just a bigger kitchen. I love it."

"Great! So when you moving in?"

"Well... I figure to be done packing by tomorrow. Sheila's been coming over and helping me. I have a method you see. Once we clean, paint and layout the new place, I'll be ready to start moving into it. I have to mark where everything is going to go. Then label each box correspondingly with each room, by color coordination. I have to set up what gets loaded on the truck first. So that what is loaded on last, gets taken into the new house first and to the furthest room of the house, working backward through the house so that the last of what is unloaded, is dropped right into the living-room and then... done!"

Jake was laughing, "You gotta be kidding me. Just pack it up, and get it over there, you can sort it later."

"NOOO!!! I'd go nuts! I can't stand that kind of disorder, not knowing what's where! No... it must be organized. The boxes labelled, and the floors marked with what piece of furniture to set where. This way I don't have to be standing over you guys when you move it. Of course, when you all get here, I will have to discuss with you how its to be done, there's a strategy to this you know."

"You don't say?" He asked sexily.

"You're not taking me seriously are you?" Vivian asked, over the moon with hearing his voice, knowing that he called her. He had the sexiest phone voice ever.

  "Of course I am, lil'girl. I think you're cute."

"You think I'm cute?!" She asked, flirting back with him, cheeks starting to ache from grinning.

  "Absolutely adorable." He responded.

"Well... I suppose you're not so bad yourself."

"Why thanks. I went to the funeral." He finally interjected.

"Oh yeah... and .... how are you?"

"I'm fine. I'm okay. Her family didn't appreciate me showing up... but - it was something I felt I had to do. And uh... that's that."

"Long as you're okay." She added gently.

"I couldn't believe it... my sons were there for me as well. That blew me away."

"How many sons do you have?"

  "Three." He answered promptly, proud.

"Their names, their ages?" She asked, sitting down on her sofa praying that they could keep talking for a while. She'd gone crazy thinking about him over the weekend.

"Oh man, you're putting me on the spot. Okay... my first two, Benjamin - he's the oldest, he's uh... shit... I think 22, the next is Kevin, he's 20 I believe and the youngest is Paul, he's 17 and graduating from high school in a few weeks."

"Oh my goodness! You have a 22 year old? 20 & 17? You don't look old enough to have sons that age, you sho' don't act old enough." She joked.

"HEY! Watch it lil'girl! Respect your elders. That's why you're such a baby... my oldest son is just six years younger than you."

  "I'm not a baby Jake, I'm a grown woman."

  "You're a little girl."

"Is that what you were thinking that night in my living room. When you were flirting with me? Trying to get into my bed? When I kissed you, was I a little girl then?"

He felt his loins stir instantly at the memory of it. He swallowed, no... he hadn't thought her a little girl then, but as long as he kept thinking of her that way - he could stay away from her. She was special. She was sweet... when not going nuts! However, the one time he'd seen her going crazy, was justified.

  "Well?" She asked again.

"It took me a while, but I finally came to my senses." He confessed to her.

"I see... and anyway... back to your boys, why did it blow you away for them to be there for you?"

"I haven't been a really good father to them. I mean, I've always financially supported them, but the physical me, not always present and available to them. So now, they're young men, and when I needed them... there they were. It was a great feeling. And uh...
I just wanted to call you, tell you about it. They said if all was clear with school and work, they'd help move you in as well."

  "They know about me?"

  "Yes they do."

Vivian felt her heart beating even harder now at finding this out. "How? Who? I mean... I don't get it?" She questioned light headed with a joy she could not explain.

"For one, my mom told them about you. Then I mentioned you last night when I took them home."

"Your mom? Wow... she's one incredible lady... I just have to say that. You don't know how lucky you are to have a mother like that."

"Oh yeah I do. She's equally crazy about you, too!"

That made Vivian grin silently, she didn't want him to know that she was on cloud nine to be chosen by his mother as someone she'd have for her son.

  "We've talked on and off."

"Yes, I can just imagine about what. You two plotting to trap me at the matrimonial alter."

"Excuse you! I don't think so! I don't have to trap anyone! Further more, I don't want any man, who feels trapped! So you can rest your mind at ease Mr. McPherson, your freedom is safe! I better get back to packing."

"Ah come on, don't be like that lil'girl. I'm no good for you. You deserve only the best. I'm afraid... that's not me."

"Then... why do you call me?"

"Because... I like the sound of your voice. You bring me up when I'm down. When I'm feeling good about something, it feels even better to share it with you. You're kind'ah... like a really good, unexpected friend. I better let you get back to packing."

Vivian's heart sank. He just wanted her as a friend.

"Yeah... thanks for calling, I'm glad everything is getting better for you. Look uh... don't worry about moving me. I can handle it."

"Hey... I said I'd be there to help, now don't be like that. When you're ready... just let me know."

  Chapter 112

Sheila was straightening up her house, getting things in order before she went and helped Vivian finish packing. The girl was driving her crazy. Everything had to be packed just so, or else she'd undo it and redo it again. She'd already threatened to bail on helping her. She'd just finished dressing when her phone rang.

  "Wha's up?"

  "Sheila...it's Sylvia."

"Hey girl! What's going on, you all right?!"

"No I am not... can I come over there?"

"Look... I'm on my way to Vivian's... why don't you come there? You know where she live? I'm helping her pack up so she can move."

Sylvia was in her mother's kitchen. Her mom had left on a doctors appointment and she was still spinning from what Shawn confessed to her last night. She needed to know what the heck was going on.

"I guess so... what's her address?" She asked. Sheila gave it to her, she jotted it down saying, "Okay... I'm on my way."

  "See you there."

Vivian opened the door for Sheila. She was feeling a bit down since she talked to Jake. While he was always polite, respectful and interested in what was going on with her, he hadn't made any more moves towards her since the weekend of the wedding.

"Oh lord, you got that face on, what's wrong now - I already know it's about Jake." Sheila started out, taking her spring jacket off.

"He called me earlier, not long before you got here, telling me a bit about the funeral and his kids."

"And that's got you looking with a long face?"

"No... not that, its just that... well... he keeps calling me lil'girl. He's set it in his head that I'm too young for him. Did you know he has three sons?"

  "No I didn't."

  "Guess how old they are?"

"How about you just tell me." Sheila pushed, not about to do the guessing thing.

"He has one that's 22! Another 20 and then 17. He's equating me with them! Pointing out that his oldest son is just six years younger than me."

"If my maths right, he is!"

"Sheila! He's using it to stay away from me!"

"He called you didn't he? Don't sound like he trying to stay away to me."

"He only wants us to be friends."

  "What's wrong with that?"

Vivian sighed shaking her head, "Nothing I guess. He's so frustrating. Its like... he won't start anything with me, but... he keeps dropping back into the picture, just in case I might forget'im."

"Well we both know ain't no chance of that. Sylvia on her way over here."

"Sylvia? Really? You talk to her today?"

"Yeah... she called me. Somethin' goin' on with her."

"So obviously she hasn't gone back home yet."

  "Nope."

  "You heard from Shawn?"

  "Nope."

"Well at least Jake isn't causing them any more problems, I'm happy about that."

"Chile believe me, Jake the least of they problems." Sheila stated, based on knowing what she did.

  "Why you say that?"

"Put it this way, I know some things."

  "Like what? Tell me!"

"I'on know girl! I don't know what to do with what I know. I ain't never had no shit like this on my table. I keep looking at it, trying to make up my mind what to do with it, but all I can think of is just leaving it."

"Is it about Sylvia and Shawn?"

"Well yeah! Who the heck we been talking about?"

"Oh tell me Sheila! I won't say nothing!"

"Look, Sylvia gone be here in a minute - maybe she'll say something if she knows."

"Just tell me right quick what you know before she comes! I can't believe you been coming here all this time and ain't told me yet!"

"Excuse the hell out'ah you... I can keep a secret you know!"

"Not from me! You suppose to tell me everything! I tell you everything! Come on tell me!"

  Her doorbell rang just then.

"Too late... gone have to wait!" Sheila laughed.

"Damn Sheila! You be doing that shit on purpose!" Vivian grumbled going to the door, opening it to see Sylvia standing in it.

"Hey baby girl... Sheila here?" Sylvia started, greeting her as they always use to. The last they'd spoken were harsh words in Sheila's van, Sylvia hoped that she didn't hold that night against her. There was no way that Vivian could, despite the scenario with Jake, the two people that she truly cared about, loved in fact - was Sheila and Sylvia. They were the only two women she trusted, even above her own sisters.

"You just come to see Sheila... what about me? You ain't said nothing to me since you yelled at me that night. Hurt my feelings!" She put on a pout, her way of patching things up between them. "I'm sorry sweety. Now you know you my girl... that was one crazy night, wasn't it?" Sylvia smiled up at her.

"Life ain't been the same since - come on in, Sheila here." She stepped back to let Sylvia in. "I'm in the middle of packing, I got to get the heck up out'ah here." She said closing the door behind Sylvia. "Why you moving, I thought you loved this house?" Sylvia asked, following her into the kitchen. Sheila was in there making coffee. "Hey chicki-pooh! You want coffee or tea?" She asked Sylvia, who was walking into the kitchen behind Vivian. "Tea please." She answered, taking a seat.

"I'm moving because that asshole I was with for way too long, is trippin'. To make a long story short, I'm taking Sheila's advice and getting out, leaving it for him. He helped me get it, and now gone try to use it against me. So I'm just gone leave it."

"Hang on here girlfriend... is your name not on it? Will leaving it and discontinuing to pay on it not mess up your good credit?!" Sylvia asked.

"OH SHIT SHEILA!!! That's right girl! I hadn't even thought about that! If I stop paying for this house, my credit goes down the toilet."

"Oh man... I forgot about that one point." Sheila looked at her with wide eyes.

"Aaah hell naaaw! I worked my ass off to get my credit right! To make sure it stays on top... if I leave this house like this and not pay on it, that's gone screw me!"

"Well you gone have to do something!?!" Sheila blurted.

"The only way you can re-deem anythin
g in this is to go to court, or force him to take over the payments and transfer everything to him, making sure its all in his name. You aught'ah know that Vivian, you work in a bank." Sylvia reminded her.

"Girl I got so much going on I wasn't thinking straight. All I could think of to do was just leave."

"You can leave if you don't mind taking a bad hit to your credit rating. Otherwise, you need to talk to him and work this out so you don't ruin yourself trying to get back at him."

"Aaah man..." Vivian sat down at her table, putting her forehand to he palm with her elbow resting on the table. "...its always something ain't it? Every time you think you get something figured out, how to solve a problem, more stuff pops up to say... oh no no no!"

"That's life baby girl... so I know exactly what you saying." Sylvia added as she stirred her tea. Sheila was sitting across from her, and tapped the table.

"Come on, let's hear it... what's up with you and Shawn?"

Vivian's head turned her way, ears wide open.

"I got a call from my daughter last night. Phoning me for Shawn. You are not gonna believe this."

"What?" Both Vivian and Sheila asked at the same time.

"Edwina went to my house last night, and tried to have sex with my husband!"

"WHAT?!" Vivian leapt to her feet shouting.

"That nasty ass ho! I cannot believe she went through with that shit!" Sheila blasted stunned.

Vivian, still standing, looked over at her with wide eyes, as Sylvia sat forward onto the table. "Hang on... you knew?"

"I didn't know she was gone try some shit last night! But - I did cuss her nasty ass out last week. Because she come to the house all happy acting like a hostess of ho's. I refer to her now as, Ms Hostess Ho Ho! 'Cause the name fits the bitch! Had I known she was such a low down dirty little wainch, I would have never invited her into my circle. Especially not brought her to the wedding."

Sylvia took a deep breath, and asked. "What was she all happy about?"

Vivian sat down, getting ready for a little neck twisting session sitting between the two, not to miss out on anything. Sheila looked from Sylvia to Vivian.
