Carnal Games

“Tatiana,” he growled it out. “I think we both won this hand.”
She managed a smile. Looking up at him, her heart was lodged in her throat. His physique rivaled that of a god, his dark good looks surpassed that of any rugged star she’d ever seen in the movies. He was her husband, a felon of her heart, and she’d, indeed, won this game hands down. He pummeled her mercilessly, and the sweet tension built as the soft felt of the card table against her bare back served to further inflame her.
When he groaned and stiffened above her, she saw the orgasm reach out and touch him. When his eyes narrowed and he threw his head back with a guttural growl, she reached for her own release. The ride was a glorious one as they galloped over mountain and plain. Tania’s body convulsed, and she reached up, bringing him down for a feather-soft kiss.
Their vision cleared, their bodies glowed in the single light of the room with an animalistic sheen. Sam propped his elbows on either side of her. His eyes, so like the green of her beloved Texas land, darted to her left.
“Well, I’ll be goddamned,” he drawled. “You’ve got the best luck in the whole Lonestar state.”
She blinked. "Well, yeah, I got you."
He shook his head emphatically.
“What do you mean?” she asked, swinging her gaze to the side where he plucked something from the table.
He lifted her hand of cards and stared agog at the spread of hearts. “You had a frickin’ straight royal flush!”
And she did. But it was time to start another game.
