“No need to thank me. Look, I know this can’t be easy on either one of you. So whatever you guys may need, just know we’re here. Now go get drunk and have a good cry. You can tell the kids tomorrow. We will keep them overnight for you.”

“Thanks, Justin.” He smiles and shoos me out the door. As I’m walking across the street, I see Katrina waiting at my house talking with Klaus and Hayley. I know why they’re here, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to have this conversation with them.

As I’m about to reach my door, Katrina is whispering something to the two and Klaus is fidgeting as Hayley has an apologetic look on her face. I’m not sure what they are talking about but it’s only a matter of time before the cats out of the bag.

“Hey guys what’s up?” I ask nonchalantly as I brush past them and opening the door to my house. Holding it open as a silent invite, they walk in and Katrina leads them into the kitchen.

“We just wanted to stop by and apologize for last night.” Hayley says. Klaus clears his throat and I’m not sure if he’s uncomfortable or maybe embarrassed. “I would say we normally lock our doors but…” She trails off looking to Klaus as the room falls silent.

“What the hell am I missing?” Katrina looks between the three of us trying to figure out what the awkward tension in the room is. I stay silent. I know Katrina is close with the Arrington’s but I’m not sure if she knows about their lifestyle and it’s not my business to tell. “Well? Would someone please clue me in?” She waves her hand in the air.

“One could say that Julie caught us in a quite compromising position last night.” Before Klaus can continue Katrina gasps.

“Oh my god. She walked in the theatre room while you guys were playing?”

“Wait what?” My head snaps as my eyes widen at Katrina. I point between Klaus and Haley while talking to Katrina. “You know that they’re swingers?” Her face turns beat red at my question and her mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water. She tries to explain but keeps tripping over her words failing to form a coherent sentence. Klaus and Hayley are chuckling and when Klaus places his hand on the back of Katrina's neck giving it a light massage it all clicks. “Oh my God! You slept with them!

“I can explain,” Katrina says, holding her hand out. I can’t help but laugh. I was so worried about keeping secrets from her but she’s been keeping a few steamy ones from me. “Please don’t be mad.” I manage to control my laugher and pull her into a hug. Everyone is looking at me like I lost my damn mind.

“Maybe we should come back later?” Klaus says looking to Hayley.

“No, please stay. I’m sorry. I’m being rude and seemed to have forgotten my manners. Sit, have a glass of wine and we can talk.” Hayley looks a little unsure and Klaus smiles and nods at the chairs. Walking to the cabinet, I grab a couple more glasses and fill them up when I reach the table.

“I’m sure you have questions.” Klaus says before taking a sip of wine.

Nodding I drink my wine before placing the glass on the table. “ I do, but not for you guys.” I turn my attention to Katrina. “You on the other hand, let’s just say you may need another bottle of wine to deal with my inquiring mind.” I smirk at her as she once again blushes at my inquisition.

“I’m sorry we didn’t tell you about the kind of lifestyle we live.” Haley says taking a drink of her wine and snuggling up to Klaus.

“No need to apologize. It’s not something you advertise. Plus, it doesn’t change my opinion of you guys at all.” The exchanged look of shock across both their faces tells me they aren’t used to people being so accepting towards their lifestyle.

“I just hate that we scared you off. I have to say, you’re the first one we ever sent running for the hills.” Klaus chuckles at Hayley’s statement.

“You didn’t.” I fidget with a piece of paper on the island in front of me, “In fact, it had nothing to do with you. No one really knows yet but Camden and I got divorced today. The ink probably isn’t even dry yet on the papers.” I cringe, not even wanting to look up at them. Camden and I have always put on such a happy act, a lot of people are going to question things.

“Oh, I’m so sorry. We shouldn’t be over here bothering you about last night when you’re going through hard times right now.” Klaus nudges Hayley’s shoulder clearly telling her it’s time to go but she doesn’t move.

“What? I’m not leaving. This is getting interesting.” He glares at her. “Don’t look at me like that! She’s our neighbor and our friend and we are always there for our friends so we’re going to stay and hear her out.” She turns her attention back to me with a look of concern on her face.

“Honestly, it’s fine. It’s been a long time coming. You see I didn’t run from your party because there were swingers there. I ran because…” Before I can tell them why Klaus’ pocket rings. He quickly reaches for it apologizing as he pulls out the phone.

“Shit. It’s Skye.” His eyes meet Haley’s and something flashes between them but I’m unsure as to what it could be. “I’m sorry can you give me a minute? It’s work related.” I nod as he walks over to the living room to take the call.

“So this club you own, am I safe to assume it’s a swingers club?” I ask.

“It is.” Hayley answers glancing over to Klaus who is now pacing the floor. She has a look of worry across her face as she watches him.

  “Is everything okay?” Katrina asks.

“I don’t know. Skye doesn’t usually call unless there’s an issue at the club.” I’ve never heard Hayley sound so unsure of herself before. She’s always sounded so confident and strong. I can’t help but wonder what could be going on.

“I’m sure she’s just planning her next big show.” Katrina laughs and I raise an eyebrow at her. Now I know where she’s been sneaking off to at night. Oh, I can’t wait to get her alone and hear all the stuff she’s been keeping from me.

Klaus walks in but looks upset, “I’m sorry but we’re going to have to go. Can we continue this discussion another time?”

“Is everything okay honey?” Hayley places her hand on his arm.

“It seems that Jess has decided that she’s going to quit on us tonight.” He answers.

  “Who’s Jess?” Katrina asks.

“She’s our Domme. She teaches classes on BDSM for the people who are curious about the subject and want to learn a few basics.” Haley answers.

“Can’t you just hire someone else? Or how about one of you teach it?” Katrina asks. I would think they would know the basics being owners of the club and all.

“We can, but tonight’s theme is BDSM. We haven’t had one since we opened the new club and now we’re going to have to cancel. It’s going to be crazy busy and we both need to be walking around the club keeping an eye on things. This is going to look bad for Infinity if we cancel.” His brows crease in and I can tell this is stressing him out. I hate seeing a friend in need.

Before I can even think twice about it, the words are leaving my mouth like my body is calling out, taking some control back. “I think I can help you with that.” I pull my lower lip into my mouth.

“That’s sweet of you to offer, but we need someone who knows the BDSM lifestyle and we can’t teach it to you in a couple hours.”

“Well that’s the thing, I really don’t need an education. Before I met Camden, I used to be a Domme. I used to bring men to their knees in a matter of minutes.” Everyone is staring at me and Katrina’s mouth pretty much hits the table. “I can fill everyone in later but just know, CBT is … was my area of expertise but I’m well educated in all aspects.”

  “What’s CBT?” Katrina whispers.

“Cock and Ball Torture.” Hayley responds as if it’s something that’s talked about over dinner every night.

Katrina spits her wine all over my table as Klaus shifts behind Hayley adjusting his balls. I join Hayley in her laughter and she tells me I’m hired.

  Chapter 3

Hayley wasn’t kidding when she said sh
e had clothes for all types in all sizes. It’s the kind of closet I would have been jealous of back in my Domme days. Shit, I’m a little envious now if I’m being totally honest. I feel like I’m standing in one of those rich bitch’s closets in one of those housewives shows, except take all the Gucci and Louie clothes and replace them with sexy, slutty lingerie and floggers.

Picking something to wear should never take this long. The outfit always chooses me. It stands out among the others and calls out to the person I want to be that night. But that’s the problem I guess. I don’t know who the hell I am anymore. I’ve completely lost my touch. I slide the hangers along the pole with a little more force than necessary, annoyance builds up inside of me. As I’m pushing through more and more clothes, the closet door opens.

“Whoa, what did those outfits ever do to you?” Hayley laughs picking up the few that fell on the floor, hanging them back up.

“I’m sorry. I’m just a little annoyed.” I give up my search for a minute and sit on the ottoman that’s by the beautiful showcase of shoes. Again, have I mentioned this closet belongs in a reality housewives show? Hayley sits with me and nudges her shoulder into mine.

“What’s going on? Is it tonight? Because if it is, you don’t have to do this you know. I can call Klaus and we will figure something out.”

“No, it’s not that.” Hayley eyes me with concern. “I promise, I’m totally good with tonight.”

“Then what is it? Is it the divorce?” She pulls my hand into hers and rubs her thumbs back and forth over it in a soothing motion.

“I have so many mixed emotions built up in me. Anger, hurt and disappointment. Half the time I’m not sure which one is the right one to feel at the time so I try to bottle them all up and then I end up exploding.”

“On innocent bystanders, like my closet.” We laugh. “Who are you angry with? Camden?”

“It’s not just him. It’s me too. I don’t know how to explain it really.”

“Just try. You’d be surprised at how good I am at figuring out complicated things. Go on, give it a try.” Letting go of my hand, she places it in my lap.

“When I was a Domme, I had it all. I had power, respect and I knew who I was. When I met Camden, he knew who and what I was. The fact that I was one was never an issue. He never pressured me to give up my lifestyle, I just lost it along the way. I was so caught up with the idea of being a wife and a mother that I totally let go of who I was to live that life. I didn’t think I could have them both. Camden never told me I couldn’t but we never discussed it either. That’s where I let myself down. I let that part of my life go willingly and all because I was with a man who I thought I could help move on from a tragic past and start a new life.” I feel the wetness start to fill my eyes and drop my head letting my hair fall in my face to hide my tears.

“But you couldn’t?” I shake my head no and Hayley pushes my hair back behind my ear and I lean into her chest, allowing myself a moment to let go. I sob into her chest and she wraps her arms around me as we sit in silence for a minute. “So you couldn’t make him move on. You can’t let that determine who you will be the rest of your life. You can either let that hold you down or get back on the horse as they say. Take the reins back and get control of your life.” She stands up and motions to the clothes.

“How am I supposed to do that when I can’t even decide on an outfit for tonight? Back in the day, I could grab an outfit with my eyes closed before I teach someone how to pat the pussy and bring a man to his knees without a blink of an eye.” I huff out in frustration throwing my hands up.

“Pat the pussy?” Hayley laughs. I close the distance between us and bring my mouth close to hers. I slowly trail the back of my hand down to her pussy, teasing her skin as I move. When I reach my destination, I flip my hand around and give her pussy a strong smack. Her breath catches and she flicks her tongue out, leaving a wet trail over her lips. I can’t resist closing the distance between us, savoring the feeling of wetness against my lips

“And that is how you pat the pussy.” I lick her bottom lip and back away as she moans with her eyes closed.

“You are such a fucking tease.” She whines.

“You said to take back control.” Feeling a spark lit inside me, I turn to the closet and see an outfit that’s calling out to me. The excitement that fills me is how I used to feel. No longer is there anger but hope, in the thought of getting the old me back.

  Chapter 4

Infinity isn’t at all what I expect it to be. I haven’t been in a swingers club in a really long time but I remember them being a lot smaller. This place is not only spacious, but beautiful, and Klaus and Hayley did an amazing job decorating. I thought I would be a ball of nerves coming here but when I walked in, the weirdest thing happened. A sense of calmness took over my body and for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was my old self again. Klaus showed me to the BDSM room and he was immediately relieved when I told him I didn’t need an introductory lesson. He left me to look around and get everything ready for the evening ahead.

I have to say the outfit I chose for tonight is amazing. I’m even more thankful that I stayed in shape over the years or else I would not feel as confident in this as I do now. People always say you’re your own worst critic but I like to think of it as I’m my biggest supporter. And damn do I look fucking good. The black body stocking is a shear mesh that has a slight sheen to it, and while it is completely see-through, it has black solid patches that mimic fire lacing around my body leaving a lot to the imagination. The crystals that flow along the tips of the flames catch the light and sparkle, and I know that while I’m working it’s going to be eye catching. What completes the outfit though, is my thigh high boots. I didn’t even realize I still had these in my closet, but I’m damn glad I did because they have the perfect heel to pierce into someone’s chest. Glancing back at myself in the mirror on the side of the room, I run my hands over my body.

Sexy and dominating. Exactly what I want to portray, can’t have anyone walking all over me, or making the Arrington’s regret their decision to hire me.

Checking the time, I see the doors are going to open in about ten minutes. I make my way over to the bar to grab myself a drink before the show starts to try and settle the nerves that are building. As I’m walking, I notice that all eyes are on me. It’s been a long time since I was the center of attention, and as strange as it feels, and I have to say, I kinda love the attention. I force a sway into my hips, showing off my body and grab a seat on the stool at the bar. A girl with long blue ombre hair has her back facing me as she gets the bar ready. Hayley told me that they had two bartenders one male and one female.

“You must be Roxy,” I say, getting her attention. Turning around her hazel eyes look me up and down before she grins at me. “I’m Julie. I’m a friend of Klaus and Hayley’s. I’m filling in tonight for the BDSM class. Do you think I can get a drink real quick before all the craziness begins?” Roxy purses her lips quickly and then continues to grin. I don’t know what is going on but I could really use that drink. I raise an eyebrow at her and she winks at me. Is she hitting on me? I wasn’t flirting with her was I? I just asked for a drink.

“Hayden, the new girl wants a drink,” Roxy yells to the room in the back of the bar.

“Okay then make the girl a drink.” A husky voice comes out from the room.

Roxy sits up on the stool behind the bar and grabs a magazine. “I’m busy. Why don’t you come out and actually do some work? Hell, you might even thank me.” I start to feel a bit nervous, wondering what’s happening. She is clearly not busy, and as the male voice gets louder I can’t help but look in the direction it’s coming from.

“Why would I thank you when you know we are behind on…” His tone sounds agitated as he leaves the room but stops in his tracks when he exits the office, instantly making eye contact with me. Hayley didn’t have much time to fill me in on her staff but hell, Katrina is here every night and she definitely did not t
ell me about the man that’s now standing behind the bar. Just looking at him makes my ovaries explode. His intense stare is captivating and I find myself unable to look away, his sky blue eyes are drawing me in. The lights in the club are dimmed down but the ones behind the bar shine perfectly off his abs drawing my focus to them. His body is so perfectly sculpted; I would love to run a crop straight down the center of his chest before marking him for the world to see. The snapping of his fingers catches my attention and I look back up quickly. Now he’s the one smirking at me as he repeats the question that I missed the first time around.

“Did you want that drink since the doors are opening?”

Suddenly feeling very flushed, I nod. “Just make me whatever is the quickest. I have a class to teach.” He chuckles to himself and grabs a glass, filling it with ice. As he prepares my drink, I take a moment to really check him out. He has straight dark brown hair and a five o’clock shadow that hides his jawline. Roxy says something to him that I can’t make out but it makes him smile, and it isn’t until then that I notice his dimples. She nods at me and he looks up to catch me staring at him and shoots me a wink before sliding my glass across the bar to me.
