Rhett was confused at her response and wondered what her sexual experience had to do with being trained by him. "Her sexual history shouldn't be a problem unless of course you have a disease we need to discuss?"

Scarlett was mortified that he would even think that and was quick to answer. "It's nothing like that!" She understood Janie's concern, she was her best friend and was only looking out for her. "Well, the truth is," she stumbled over her words in embarrassment, "I've never slept with a man." The roof could fall in now, she thought, thinking he must think she was a complete loser after her admission.

"You're a virgin?" He asked the question incredulously, and he had to admit it did amazing things to his ego to think of being her first lover. His cock stood at attention at the thought of being the first man to take her, but along with that came a whole world of concerns that she might not know what she truly wanted in a lover yet as well.

"Y-yes," she could feel her cheeks burning at the admission and wondered if he thought she was damaged now. Her virginity had never really bothered her in the past because it had been a conscious decision on her part not to have sex. "I understand if that's a complete turn off to you." Lowering her eyes, she wished she could sink into the floor as she waited for him to speak again.

"Sweetheart you've just given me a hard on the size of Niagara Falls, so I think it's safe to say I'm not turned off, but I do think this will change how we spend your ten nights if you choose to come to me."

She couldn't help it that her eyes went straight to his groin, or how excited she was to see that he wasn't able to hide his erection. She licked her lips unknowingly and smiled.

"Alright Janie, you'd better take your friend home before I make a decision for her." If she didn't change her mind he was going to walk her into sexuality in a way that she would never forget. The thought of teaching her everything was mind blowing and it was hard for him to allow her to go home tonight. "If you decide this is truly what you want sweetheart, be here tomorrow night at nine." He stood up, uncomfortably aware of how tight his jeans were now.

She stood up on shaking legs and had no idea how she was going to force herself to leave this room. She wanted to walk over and wrap her arms around his neck and beg him to take her upstairs. For the first time in her life she knew what it meant to desire someone. Her eyes met his and the longing she felt had to be visible, she thought shyly.

He walked over and pulled her into his arms. "I hope you decide to come back Scarlett." Lowering his lips to hers he kissed her softly. "I promise you won't regret it." He pulled back and smiled down into her beautiful face. She was such a petite little thing and his 6'3 height towered over her, he could envision her kneeling down and knew he had to end this meeting now.

"I think you need to take her home now babe," David knew that look in his friend's eyes, he was at the edge of his control. He brushed his lips over Janie's and then smiled at her. "I'll see you tomorrow night." He turned to Scarlett and winked. "Really nice meeting you."

"Nice to meet you too David," she smiled at him quickly before turning to Rhett. "I'll see you tomorrow night, Sir," she had no idea why she added the Sir, but the way his eyes darkened in desire, it was apparently the right thing to say.

"Um we need to leave," Janie smiled at David reading the intensity in Rhett's gaze. "Goodnight Master, she whispered and then grabbed Scarlett's hand leading her out of the room and outside to her car.

When they were on the road again, Janie turned off the radio and paused in silence before speaking. "Scarlett, you know Rhett's a really sexy guy but I'm not sure he's the happily ever after type if you get my meaning hon?"

"I don't think I'm looking to head down the aisle yet, Janie," she giggled and shook her head.

"I know marriage isn't your thing, but well you've waited a long time to have sex, and I just don't want you to get hurt, you know if you get too involved." She was really glad that Scarlett had finally decided to explore her sexuality, but was also worried about how intense she knew Rhett could be.

"Janie, I'm not even going to pretend I'm not out of my league here, but for the first time ever, I want to explore," she loved her friend for trying to protect her feelings but she wasn't looking for the fairytale here.

"Honey you're only out of your depth with the sex and BDSM stuff, he definitely doesn't deserve someone as wonderful as you, I just want you to guard your heart here okay." She would never forgive herself for introducing Scarlett to Rhett if he hurt her emotionally.

"Janie I love you, if it gets to intense I'll back off, promise," she was convincing herself as much as her friend here. Rhett made her feel things she thought were impossible and it was going to be a tough line not to cross, remembering that love wasn't sexual gratification.

"I know you'll do the sensible thing Scarlett, you always have." She drove on for a few minutes thinking. "Rhett is a very experienced Dom, he's been in this lifestyle most of his life, and you’ll learn things with him that most people can only dream about. So if you can just look at it as a learning experience, I say go for it."

"I never even asked him how old he was," Scarlett knew she'd been more interested in how handsome he was and the feelings he brought out in her, but now she found herself curious about the man himself.

"He's 37, he owns two of the largest law firms in Chicago, one of which David is his partner in. Let's see, he was married once, but she left him because she couldn't deal with his lifestyle and his father is still alive but his mom passed away with cancer about five years ago. Oh, and did I mention he's incredibly rich? Not only does he own the two law firms, his father is loaded as well and as an only child he's set to receive a huge inheritance when he passes on."

"Holy hell Janie, you just gave me the man's full biography," Scarlett laughed before stopping to wonder. "How do you know so much about him?"

"He was my mentor when I first decided I wanted to explore this lifestyle, Scarlett," she turned to glance at her friend quickly before paying attention to the road again, "but he set me up with David as a trainer."

"So did you and he...," she honestly wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer to the question, but felt like she had to ask.

"No way," Janie laughed, "he intimidated the hell out of me in that capacity hon. I've watched him scene before and when I tell you he's intense, let me just say that's putting it mildly."

"Okay if you are afraid to be with him that way, shouldn't I be running away?" A nervous shudder moved through her as she thought about how much Janie knew about men and her fear of Rhett.

"Seriously Scarlett, I would trust Rhett with you more than anyone else if I'm being honest. Yes, he is intense, but after years of watching him, I know he's also one of the most perceptive Master's I've ever met. I didn't know that much about the lifestyle when we first met though, so he scared me."

"What will those ten nights be like?" a part of her was so excited that she couldn't wait to find out, another part felt like hiding under the blankets and not taking the risk.

"I think with Rhett, those ten nights will change everything you thought you knew about your sensuality and leave you longing for more."

"Well I'm guessing since I've never really thought I had a sexual side it will change everything." Laughing at herself seemed to make it easier to fight back the nervous tension of what she was about to walk into.

They finally made it home and talked well into the daylight hours about things that Scarlett had never even considered before. By the time she finally fell asleep her mind was overwhelmed with fears and anticipation. There was one certainty in her mind though, tomorrow night she was going to agree to share ten nights with Rhett.

The next morning Scarlett and Janie slept in late and continued their talk over coffee. Some of the things Scarlett talked about really impressed her because she'd only seen the physical part of the lifestyle in the dungeon. Apparently entering into one of these relationships' involved a lo

t of discussion and working out details, as they'd spent the last hour going over the contract Janie had with David.

"So everything you're willing to do is written down?" That seemed coldly calculated compared to what she'd witnessed last night.

"No honey, it's more like a list of things that you are willing to try and things that you wouldn't even consider being part of. The Top, or Dom that's the one in control, he uses that as a guideline so he doesn't do something that would leave you completely unwilling to submit to him again." Taking a sip of her coffee she watched her friends face for any confusion. This was like talking to a child about sex and she was trying hard to keep a smile off her face.

"Okay but I don't really know what any of this stuff is, so how would I tell him what I don't like?" It was frustrating as hell not to have anything to base those experiences Janie had shared with her off of.

"Well you could ask me about anything on this list, but in all honestly it would be better to discuss these things with Rhett. He could explain his way of doing things, and each Dom has their own little quirks." She was really worried about Scarlett walking into this world without any normal sexual experience under her belt. "Scarlett I've got to be honest, I have to wonder if it wouldn't be better for you to experience plain sex before you thought about this."

"Janie maybe that's just the thing, I've never really been interested in just sleeping with a man, or a woman for that matter." Blushing deeply she whispered even though they were alone, "What I saw last night, well it really excited me for the first time in my life." She wondered what that said about her own mentality, and laughed.

"What?" She smiled at her friend, not really sure what was funny but still there was a fear that this was going to be too much.

"I was just thinking a psychiatrist would probably have a field day over a virgin wanting to jump straight into leather and whips."

Janie shook her head and giggled. "Well you waited so long to have sex, maybe it's just the thought of being tied up and fucked is easier than the normal fumbling around in the dark that most of us did as teenagers?"

Scarlett took a sip of her lukewarm coffee and nodded as she analyzed her friend's words. "Maybe," nibbling on her lip the thought of what she was about to do tonight really hit her and she felt her stomach clench. "He won't hurt me?" She lifted her eyes to Janie's, suddenly hit with a fear she didn't understand.

Putting her hand over Scarlett's she met her gaze dead on. "Not if he wants to live," she smiled trying to put her friend at ease. "Rhett would never take any of this further than you were willing to go Scarlett. If you told him to stop it would end immediately and there would be no hard feelings." If she didn't know that with certainty she would never let her consider taking Rhett's offer. "Sweetie this is completely about trust, and before you agree to anything you need to be able to trust him."

Letting out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding as she waited for her friends' answer, she felt a little calmer. "So what's going to happen tonight?" If they had to negotiate things, as Janie had told her earlier, she wondered if that meant the ten Nights would start another time.

"If I know Rhett like I think I do, you guys will sit down and go over things for hours. After you've come to an agreement, or if you decided to walk out the door and say no thank you, you'll move on from there." She remembered well her first negotiation with David. She felt like she'd just exposed her soul after their long debates. The difference between herself and Scarlett though was she knew exactly what she was willing do to in the bedroom. She couldn't even imagine what it would be like going into this completely innocent.

The thought that they would just talk tonight allowed her nerves to settle somewhat. She admitted to herself that she was a little disappointed too that she wouldn't get to touch him. She felt her face heat up at the admission.

"Girl you've got it bad," Janie shook her head and laughed softly. It was definitely something to see her no-nonsense friend so overwhelmed for a change. "Why don't we go shopping and treat ourselves to a girl's day out, my treat?"

"That sounds like fun, we need to talk about what we're going to do next month too." They had to be out of the dorms in thirty days and the job Scarlett had at the supply store on campus, while not much in the way of wages, would be ending. Her nerves were strung tight as she thought about the future.

"Well Daddy has made our decision easier," she rolled her eyes at the thought of the keys to the condo that she'd found with papers in her mail slot this morning. "With all our talk about Rhett, I haven't showed you something." Walking over to her purse she pulled out the papers and handed them to Scarlett with a shake of her head.

"He bought you a Condo," Janie gasped as she looked at the contract and wondered why her friend wasn't happier about this. "Hell Janie, I've been worried sick about finding a place, you should be jumping up and down for joy." She had never understood her friend's aversion to having her father cater to her every need. She knew they didn't have a real father/daughter relationship, but she would have been ecstatic to not have to worry about money.

"Why were you worried Scarlett," Janie shook her head again, "you know I would never leave you stranded, you're my best friend!"

"You can't take care of me forever, Janie, and it doesn't feel right mooching off you like this." She loved her friend, but taking her charity was just against everything she believed in.

"Damn it Scarlett, what the hell would I do without you? You've always taken care of me, this shit," she picked up the paper with a curl of her lip, "it doesn't mean half as much as your friendship does to me, don't you get it?"

"You don't ever have to worry about me not being here for you Janie, but sooner or later I have to be able to stand on my own feet too." Standing up she walked around to her friend and leaned down to hug her. "I can't imagine not having you in my life either."

Janie hugged her back pouring her heart into their embrace. Scarlett had been the one person in her life that loved her for who she was and not her money. She had no idea how her friend managed to work her ass off at a full time job and still attend classes, and pull out a 4.0 grade point average. "I can't stand the thought of us not living together Scarlett, you're my rock."

She pulled out of her arms and blinked back tears. They had leaned on each other so much over the last four years that she considered Janie family. Janie had never had to fend for herself in her life when they met and it had just seemed normal for her to take over taking care of her. Janie had opened her eyes to a life she would have never known, and Scarlett had become like the older sister doing all the things Janie didn't know how to do. "Love you, Janie," she smiled as she stood up.

"Love you too Scarlett, do not cry, damn it," she grinned and stood up. "Let's go shopping and get you ready to meet Mr. Hammond tonight! We'll stop by our new home on the way back," she winked and grabbed her purse. "Let's do this."

Scarlett grabbed her purse and followed her out the door, thanking whatever fates had brought them together. She grinned as they slid into Janie's car and she waved her father's gold credit card in the air.

"Let's go blow some of Daddy's money," she had no issues spending his money and felt it was her right since he didn't have time to spare to even show up for her college graduation.

They spent the next four hours shopping and even managed to get their hair styled and legs waxed. Scarlett had no idea if she had the nerve to where the outfit Janie had bought for her, it was more than a little revealing and she preferred her clothes covering everything. This was definitely something new for her and as they made it back into the house, tired from their trip, she brought it up.

"Are you sure this is what I should wear to um, negotiate." She held the dress up in the bag and glanced over it noticing how much was not there.

"That's absolutely what you're going to wear to meet Rhett tonight, you'll have his libido on edge and he might go easier on you." At Scarlett's look of panic at her words she laughed. "I'm kidding Scarlett, hon
ey you're going to be just fine, and if you don't like what he has to say, then tell him thank you but you're not interested."

Biting her lip until she tasted blood, she nodded. Her hands were shaking now that she thought about where she'd be in the next few hours and she was worried that she couldn't go through with it. "I'm really scared, Janie."

"We're going to put these things away and talk." Scarlett knew this was a huge step for her friend, and if she wasn't sure about it, then she would call Rhett herself and call it off. "Put your things away and grab a shower, I'll be back in fifteen minutes." Not giving her a chance to argue, she walked the door across the hall to her dorm room. The dorms here were all single person dwelling, but she spent the majority of her time with Scarlett or vice versa. She could still remember the condescending letter her father had written when she told him she wanted to live on campus. Denying him the right to house her then had given her great satisfaction, and his payback she knew was the new Condo.

Scarlett hung the dress bag on the closet door and put the rest of her things away. Her heart was racing as she stepped into the shower, careful not to wet her hair. She bathed meticulously while thinking about her meeting with Rhett tonight. Her stomach was tied in knots, and even though she was just going to talk to him, she couldn't stop the nervous jitters.

"Janie unless you want to show up looking like a prune you need to get your ass out of the shower, you've been in there forever." She called out loudly before making herself at home in the kitchen and pulled a diet cola out of the fridge.

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she stepped out of the shower and dried off. Wrapping in a huge yellow bath towel, she joined Janie in the kitchenette. "Okay so maybe this was a stupid idea, Janie." She gripped the towel tightly to hold it together and to stop her hands from shaking uncontrollably.

"Do you want me to call him and tell him you've changed your mind," she had never seen Scarlett so nervous.

"No!" She hadn't mean to sounds so vehement in her reply but the thought of not seeing Rhett tonight was just as terrifying as actually going through with this.
