They have no clue that inside the mirror is a map to a treasure greater than anything they can imagine. As time passed, Cassie found that she did not want anything to do with the gold buried on her family land. The money she is receiving from the sale of the mine will be more than enough to ensure her family has everything they need.
“They have no clue, Daniel, and maybe when you are old enough, you can go visit them and fill them in on the surprise. For now, we will just keep it our little secret.”
He burps, and she laughs.
