“Okay , Gerard sir you are great ,I am so tired today , will you please like to give your precious time for making coffee for me”.
“Yeah its fine” he said and put the novel down and went inside .
“I must tell mother about the girl of my dream” , I said and stood up andcalled mother , she picked up .
“Jack, how you areJack?” she said .
“I am fine mom , I have called to tell that ,I have found her”.
“Who?”
“Mom the girl of my dream , the girl I was searching for, and my search ends here mom”.
Mom was surprised , “are you sure Jack, she is the one? , I can’t believe it , you were searching for her since you were very little” she said .
“Yeah I am sure mom , I talked to her today , she is as beautiful as she looks in my dreams , she is really nice , her smile is worth of millions mom ” .
“It seems my son is in love now ” .
“I am in love with her for manyyears mom”.
“I am happy for you son , you have found your soul mate , I am sure your mind has changed now , you can come to NewYork with her now , for Christmas and New Year , I can talk to her parents if you want”.
“What mom ?, she does not even know me , how is she going to come with me?”.
“Tell her you are rich , you have expansive cars , her parents will surely send her with you after hearing this just for the holiday time”.
“Mom , love does not see riches , it’s not always about the money, I haven’t seen her parents yet , this is just first day”.
“All right you can take time but let me make myself clear , I want to celebrate Christmas with you”.
“Here is your coffee”Gerard said and put in on the table , he sat on the couch and continued reading .
“Mom we will talk about this later, I love you and yeah this place is awesome and I am loving it and don’t worry about me I am happy here ” I said and disconnected the call .
I took coffee , “oh its nice , it’sreally good” I said drinking it .
“Thanks , I am expert in making coffee” Gerard said feeling proud of himself .
“So finally you are good at something I liked that , earlier I used to think that you are good at nothing ,So tell me one thing how is your handwriting?”.
“Its fine but I don’t like to write, I read books and remember them”.
“But I know you like to writethese are the three notebooks read them and copy the work in my notebook ” .
“What I am not going to write I told you already”.
“But you like to read and remember”I said .
“So read the words and write them on my notebook that’s how you will remember it all , experts say when you write something after you read it , you remember it for long” I added .
“Really?”.
“Yeah”.
“Why didn’t you told me early on , if you would have I would have passed in my final exams”.
“You can start it now , it’s never too late”.
“Okay,I am going to do your work, what are you going to do, just going to waste time?”.
“Who said that, I am going to use it in the best possible way , by thinking about a girl” .
“Olivia” he said looking at the notebooks
“How did you know her name ?” I asked in the surprise .
“I just read the name on the notebook, its Olivia written here”.
“Are you mad” I said and checked the books , it was really Olivia written over them .
“How was that even possible ?” doctor said .
I also don’t know , that’s why I was surprised , I could not understand how did it happened , I checked , I emptied my bag to find Rita’s notebooks , but they were not there , but yeah Gerard did the work he copied from Olivia’s copy , I just thought about Olivia the whole night and it was really a long night , It was so hard for me to sleep that night .
Another Day
I didn’t slept that night , I just went to the way where I left Olivia and I just looked at her house, I could not see her I just waited for her there but there was no sign of her , so I decided to go , I just turned away .
“Hi” she said touching me .
“Ah” I shouted in a shock and I dropped my bicycle, she was there .
“Hey what happened ?,it’s just me , don’t you remember me?” she asked .
“How is this possible , I was looking at your house and I didn’t saw you even on the way , how did you made it so fast”.
“Oh , I was hiding behind this big tree and I was waiting for you to turn , why did you shouted , am I looking like a beast today?” .
“No, you are looking beautiful and you can never look like a beast not even during Halloween”.
“Thanks , I think you will not like to get late today , so we must walk , college is at a great distance from here”.
“Yeah we should ” I picked up my bicycle and we continued walking .
“Hey I just want to ask one thing , are you in my class ?” I asked her .
“Yeah I am but I don’t attend classes , I just like to roam in the campus , I spend most of my time alone on the terrace” .
“Oh it’s good” I said looking at her , she too looked at me smiling , she was wearing white clothes , that pink cap was looking really good on her , she had black scarf round her neck , her skin was glowing that morning , she was looking as bright as the sun in the morning, even if she wouldn’t have been the girl of my dreams , I would have still fallen for her , how could have I resisted her , she was the meaning of beauty for me
“Sounds like she was really beautiful” Doctor said with a pale smile on his face
“She is beautiful”
“So what happened next ?”
I just wanted to ask her about the notebooks but I was hesitating, she asked me .
“Jack you know unfortunately our bags got changed yesterday” she said .
“What , I said and looked at her bag , she was carrying the same , oh that’s why the notebooks got exchanged”I said .
“Yeah , you were carrying Rita’s notebook , I went home and opened my bag , it was your bag and I found Rita’s book inside”.
“I don’t know how ,it happened but I hope it happened for good” she added .
“So should we exchange our bags now?” .
“Yeah” she said smiling we exchanged our bags and we continued walking , I was talking and she was just listening to me and was laughing at my silly jokes , they were not kind of jokes but they were making her laugh so I was happy ,I was never good at making people smile , as I already told you , I was opposite of my father , he was good at jokes , I wasn’t , but she liked my jokes and I loved her smile , after walking for a while we reached the college , she was with me , I stopped to park my bicycle , I applied lock when I looked up she was not there , she was gone , I could not see her anywhere , I was looking here and there
A hand touched me
“So here you are” I said hoping it wasOlivia and lookedback , it was Rita.
“So you were finding me ?” she asked with a smile .
“Oh I am sorry” I said looking at her .
“Were you expecting someone else?” Rita asked , she looked confused .
“Yeah” I looked around and said .
“I hope you have completed your work”.
“Yeah I have ” I gave her notebooks to her , Steve was nearby he came and kissed her .
“Why are you talking to this punk?” he asked her .
“Oh , I was just passing by , he was standing here ,so I thought I must ask him , did he liked the college or not” she said putting her books on her bag , he saw it .
“What? , you gave your notebooks to this punk” he said to her , “how did you even dared to take her notebooks” he said and he pushed me , I fall down , a stone came out of nowhere and strike at his head
“Who’s it ? ” he said and looked around there was no one , i
t was a small stone so there was no bleeding.
“What was I saying punk?”he looked at me again and said, a big stone came this time at strike at his head again .
“Who’s it , come in front of me” he said holding his head and looked around ,this time I and others too looked around but we could not find anyone there .
“I am leaving you alive this time” he said and begin to go , Rita looked at me , “come on Rita” he said and she followed him .
The classes were not fine , Olivia was not present in the class , I don’t even know where she was , what she was doing , I searched for her in the break but I could not see her , I looked at terraces but she was nowhere , I went to the class at the break there was no one and the door was closed , I opened the door Olivia was there .
“Hi Jack she said looking at me” there was a gorgeous smile spread over her face and there was bright light waving in her eyes .
“Hi” I said and brought a chair near to her and I sat on the chair .
“Are you tired ?, I think you were looking for me” she said .
“How did you know that ?” .
“I know things Jack and I saw you looking at terraces”.
“Oh” I said and went nearer to her .
“Do you want to say something?” she said.
“No . . .yeah what are you doing in this attendance register”I asked her .
“I am marking me as present , why should I let them mark me as absent , when I am coming to college daily”she said coming close to me .
“Yeah … you are right”.
“So it’s the time to go” , she said smiling , her smile was really , really attractive doctor , she said and ran outside and closed the door .
“Wait” I said and opened the door , she was not there , she was nowhere there .
“So she had a very attractive smile?” doctor asked Jack .
“Yeah she do have , she had a nice way of smiling” .
“Do she have magic powers or she knows how to teleport?” I asked myself because her activities were different.The bell rang and students begin to came inside the classes .The lessons were boring and the way of teaching was not as I expected , teachers of my college were far better than these teachers . One or two girls were going crazy over me , but I had situation under control .
After the school was over , I came out she was nowhere , I waited for her at the cycle stand she was nowhere ,I couldn’t see her anywhere , I waited for her for a long time and by now everyone had gone home , now it was the time when I decided to put a stone on my loving heart and go home , I opened the lock of my bicycle , she was in front of me again .
“Hi” she said smiling .
“Oh god !” I said and I fall down .
“Are you all right” she said and came near to me and gave me her hand , I stood up , her hands were warm even it was cold outside .
“Your hands are so warm” I said .
“Yeah that’s because I have drank coffee just now”.
“But drinking coffee doesn’t make hands warm” .
“I was holding the cup”
“Oh, how an idiot I am , I said , your hands are really soft , soft than the petals of rose”.
“Are you flirting with me ?” she asked .
“No , I am not ,I just said the truth” .
“Can I walk with you ?” she asked .
“I have no problem” I said smiling and we begin to walk .
“I just want to say one thing”I said looking at her .
“What ?”
“I have started to love surprises , I love your surprises , I don’t find you anywhere when I try to find you around and then you are in front of me in just a second , I am loving this , how do you do this ?”
“I am fast actually”
“Yeah you are” I said and both of us smiled , her hairs were coming over her eyes , I removed them
She looked at me silently, surprised
“They were disturbing you, I thought it may even go in your eyes and may give pain to your eyes” she laughed hearing this
“Stop” she said
“ What happened ?”
“ You have left something behind”
“what is it ” I said and she looked back it was my bicycle ,it fall down when I try to remove her hairs from her face , I was so lost in her beauty that I even forgot that I was carrying a bicycle .
“ Oh I said , please don’t give me any surprise now , I am bringing it”I ran to pick it up .
“I am just here for you, how I can go” she said .
“Thanks” I said and come back to her with my bicycle .
“I think I don’t need this now”.
“You may need it , I don’t go to college daily , so when I will not come you will like to come on it” .
“ Okay , can I ask one thing?” .
“Yeah” .
“Do you always smile like this?”.
“No, I think I am smiling more since yesterday” she said with shy eyes and looked down .
“Oh, thanks” I said .
We were just walking , now we were quite.
“Did you told her you love her that day ?” doctor asked .
No , it was too soon , I was afraid .
“But she was In love with you too”.
Yeah I know she was but I don’t have guts to say that really .
“What a dumb man you areJack”
“I think I haven’t completed my story yet , you can’t say how a man I am without hearing the complete story”
“Oh yeah say it” .
We were walking we were not talking I don’t know why , it was the way now which leads to her house and I had to take the right turn
“It’s your way now Olivia” I said
“Yeah it is , these are the shortest three miles of my life , I think , time passes easily and happily with you Jack” she said .
“I love spending time with you” I said
“Thanks” she said and she begin to go , she went away I hoped she would invite me for a coffee at her house but she didn’t , I quietly went to my house and I had to help Gerard in cutting a tree that evening , I was afraid of Adam so I didn’t turned my music system on , my music system was more expensive than my cars and I don’t want him to break it .
Adam was a nice man according to me, he was the protector of the village , he used to clear the roads by himself , he used remain awake till late night and he just used to drink liquor but yeah he was good according to me but not according to the others .
“When did you meet Olivia the next time , I want to know about your meetings with Olivia, not much about others”
Two wolfs
We met next day while on the way to college , today I was without bicycle .
She came from behind , “hey Jack good morning” she said walking fast .
“Hey Olivia , I was just missing you , you seems happy today ” I said looking at her .
“ Yeah I am it’s a beautiful morning isn’t it?”she asked .
“Yeah it is , but it’s not as beautiful as you are ”I said and she looked at me with love in her eyes .
“Do you love the song of these birds?”she asked .
“Yeah I do love really , its melodious , I just thought about you the last night” I said .
“I am thinking about you since many years” I said this in my mind .
“Really , what did you thought of me ?”.
“Why should I tell you ?”.
“Was it something like you can’t tell ?” .
“No , I just thought about spending time with you”.
“Oh we are spending a lot of time together we are walking three and three , we are walking six miles together”.
“Yeah it’s a lot of time …. so do you like to sing?”.
“Yeah I do , I sing when I am alone ,but I prefer to hear songs” .
“ Which type of songs do you hear ?” .
“Every , the one which plays on radio
and television”.
“Oh you must take this if you love to hear songs ” I gave my I pod to her .
“Oh its expensive , do you really want to give this to me?”she said looking at the I pod .
“Yeah you need it more than me , its no use to me , I have left listening to the songs , even from my IPod since the day Adam warned me about songs , so I am not listening even on headphones ” .
“What ? Adam is your neighbor” she said in surprise and she stopped walking .
“Yeah do you know him ? , it seems he is very famous here” .
“He is a very bad person , I never wish to see his face” she walked again.
“Come on he is not that bad, what worse he may have done?”.
“You don’t know him Jack, try to remain away from him”.
“All right I will not go to his home”.
“Yeah it will be good if you will not go”as she said that , we saw two wolfs on the way , I saw them and I stopped , I grabbed her hand , she looked at me and smiled .
“Look ahead” I said and she looked at the wolfs.
“Oh , they are just tiny wolfs and you are afraid of them?” .
“Do they seems tiny to you ? they can kill us , god save us , send somewhere to help us , Olivia they are coming near us what should we do ? shall we run”I said I was afraid , In moments of my afraidness I looked into Olivia’s eyes , she didn’t seemed afraid to me , she was a little excited , this is insane but she was really , really excited .
“Stand where you are and don’t move” she said to me .
“What are you mad ?” I said and she looked at me , “sorry , you are not mad . but don’t you know they will kill us”
“ Trust me Jack , just close your eyes , you don’t have to be afraid when you are with me” she said
I saw both of them coming slowly towards us , I closed my eyes and when I opened the wolfs were at the feet of Olivia , she was playing with them .
A fearful smile came to my face , “how did you did that?” I asked .
“I have a way with animals” she said , putting her hand in wolf mouth .
“Be careful what are you doing ?” I moved a little back as I said .
“I am just clearing his teeth’s , it seems he is not on aproper diet nowadays , comeon you will like to touch them” she said to me .
