  “Yes. I now have two.”

She laughed softly. “I don’t even want to know.”

“What you don’t want to know is all the things I want to do to your beautiful body,” he whispered hotly.

His heated words had the affect he desired as her body warmed.

“I didn’t know that you liked thick girls,”

Brandon tasted her mouth. “You’re thick everywhere I like.”

He proceeded to show her the parts he liked the most while removing her robe and nightie leaving her bare to his hot green gaze. Brandon appreciated that Mackenzie was comfortable in her body because it was as he’d said, beautiful. She was thick and curvy, and made him hard as a rock just looking at her. She laid before him lush and full, making it hard for him to decide where to begin. Her breasts, her thighs, her hips, her ass or the part that made her all woman.

When she grabbed him and attacked his mouth, the question was answered, all of them.

His hand began an exploration of her, learning each and every hill and valley while setting her on fire with his touch. “Tonight Mackenzie, tell me what you like.”

With her eyes closed, she whispered, “I like the way you say my name. I always have.”

“What else Mackenzie?” he asked removing the scrunchii from her hair and tossing it aside. He slid his hand into her dark mane, spreading it across the cover.

Opening her eyes, she stared up into his handsome clean-shaven face. “I’m a strong woman and I appreciate male stamina.”

Brandon slid away to remove the rest of his clothing. His green lasers held her in place, as he slid out of his dark slacks, underwear and socks. “I’m a strong man.”

Mac examined his tall, muscular body in appreciation. “I’ve always thought you were.”

Joining her on the bed again, Brandon laid his naked body next to hers. “Since you left the other night, this is all I’ve been able to think of.”

“I’m surprised I even remembered any of my speech because I couldn’t stop looking at you.”

She smiled. “I didn’t hear much of your speech.”

He gave her a look. “You told me it was good.”

“I assumed it was. You’re very good at what you do.” She complimented him as she reached out to caress his arm. “I couldn’t stop thinking about that night either.”

“Then why did you want to send me away from your office today?” he questioned.

Mac touched his face. “Because I knew this would be more than sex to me.”

Brandon lowered his head to her mouth and begin kissing her hotly. “Mackenzie…”

The sound of her name on his lips caused her arms to wrap around his neck as she welcomed his heat. Brandon fitted his firmness against her soft curves and growled in her ear as her hands moved to grab his back. Her strong fingers kneaded his golden skin as he demonstrated on her mouth what he was going to do to her body.

Mac’s mouth met his eagerly. After kissing Brandon, she didn’t think she could settle for anyone else’s. He had a way of doing things to her lips and tongue that caused her thighs to cream and what he was doing right now had all of her juices flowing.

She turned their bodies over on the bed with their mouths still connected. Breaking away, she looked down at him. “That damn mouth.”

He grinned. “I haven’t even started.”

Mac reached over to the nightstand drawer and grabbed a few packages, tossing all of them, except one, next to the lamp that she turned off to darken the room allowing only a small nightlight from the bathroom to illuminate the space.

Attaching her lips to his again, she proceeded to allow him to demonstrate just what he could do with that mouth. Brandon rolled her onto her back then traveled slowly down her body, leaving a hot, moist trail over and around her breasts paying homage to hardened nipples.

Taking the package from her hand, he paused and she could see his eyes glowing as he knelt on the bed. “You want me to do that?” she asked.

He shook his head. “I want you to watch.”

Mac obeyed and catalogued every move as he slowly and expertly applied the protection. When he was done, he tossed the packaging aside then grabbed ahold of her thighs and spread them apart. Mac relaxed and waited for what she thought was going to come next, yet nothing could have prepared her for what Brandon had in store.

That mouth that he’d bragged about began to show why it had earned its reputation. Mac closed her eyes and concentrated on taking her next breath while Brandon worked his magic. His lips and tongue had her calling on every higher power available to keep her from crushing his head with her thighs.

The pleasure intensified until she came apart with his hands under her ass and his nose fondling her clitoris. Breathing heavily, she looked down at his satisfied face as he lifted his head.

“Damn boy…I didn’t even know,” she breathed.

Climbing over her, he whispered. “I’ve got many secrets Mackenzie.”

He began to do more wicked things to her mouth as he slowly joined their bodies. Mac was indeed impressed and satisfied with what she felt inside especially the deep, solid thrusts that were filling her to the hilt.

Grabbing hold of his waist, she braced herself for what was turning into a wild ride of unleashed power. In her ears, she heard her own pants and groans mixed with his primal grunts as they both gave in to the passion that had them both entranced.

Brandon looked down into her sultry eyes as he rested deep inside of her. “Say my name…”

When she hesitated, he pressed deeper causing her to moan.

  “Mackenzie, say my name…”

Pulling him closer, she lifted her legs around his back giving him better access to her spot. “Brandon,” she said hoarsely.

“Now you get what you want,” he growled into her neck before arduously riding her until they both laid spent and satisfied.

After a few minutes, Brandon rolled off of her and she turned to look at him with a soft smile. “Well, counselor, I think you proved your case.”

Brandon reached over and gently stroked her dampened back. “You presented a very convincing argument yourself Chief.”

Placing a hand on his slickened chest, Mac began a small pattern. “Was that the preliminary hearing?”

Brandon began to kiss her slowly. “That was Discovery…”

“When I come back, it’s all about Motions,” he said climbing from the bed.

Mac watched him go then grabbed another package from the nightstand with a smile. When he returned from the bathroom, he stopped and watched her, watch him.

  “Nice package,” she complimented softly.

Brandon grabbed his manhood and stroked it slowly. “You think so?”

Mac smiled. “I meant the whole thing, but that’s very nice too.” She sexily held out the new packet to him.

Brandon closed his hand over hers as he laid her back on the bed. Savoring her mouth, he began to prepare her for the next session. When she was breathless and panting, he raised his head and locked eyes with hers.

“Just so you know Mackenzie, I like my eggs with tomatoes.”

  ******

Mac’s alarm went off at six in the morning, fifteen minutes after she’d finally gone to sleep. Groaning she turned to stop the irritating sound as a strong arm wrapped around her waist.

“I hate you right now,” she told him sleepily.

  “Why?”

“Because I have meetings all day and I only got fifteen minutes of sleep.”

Brandon nuzzled her neck from behind. “I have meetings all day too and I didn’t sleep either.”

“But it was worth every minute,” he said sucking on her ear.

Mac moaned then smiled. “Yeah, it was.”

Brandon’s hand slid lower and Mac spread her legs. “If you don’t get out of this bed right now, you’re going to be very late Chief Green.”

“It’s hard to move with your hand between my legs,” she pointed out.

Brandon fondled her slowly, causing her to throw her head back against his shoulder. He whispered in her ear, “We can finish in the shower to save you some time.”

Mac closed her eyes. “Yeah, you can wash my back too.”

After showering, Brandon dressed quickly and went downstairs while Mac got ready for work. His meetings didn’t start until later in the day so he still had time to go home and change. Mac appeared in the kitchen and saw Brandon standing at the small table next to a plate filled with sausages, toast and scrambled eggs, with both cheese and tomatoes.

  “Good morning again, Mackenzie.”

She smiled and took the seat he held out for her. “This looks really good.” Mac lifted her face and he kissed her before taking the seat across from her.

“I hope you like it.” He took her hand across the table.

Looking into his eyes, she replied. “I did, very, very much.”

He laughed softly and released her hand. “Thank you.”

“Thank you counselor.” Mac picked up the fork then looked at the table. “Are we sharing this?”

  Brandon nodded.

“There are more forks in the drawer,” she pointed out.

“I like sharing yours.” His green eyes flashed.

Mac shook her head. “Since you were kind enough to make it, I’ll share my fork with you.”

He licked his lips. “I’ll just watch you first.”

Mac lifted some of the eggs to her mouth. “I see you have some fetishes.”

“Too many to name,” he replied in a sexy voice that caused her to look up at him.

With his early morning stubble and sexy grin, Mac’s only thought was that she’d like to take off that uniform and have him skip the eggs and lay her on the table instead.

Watching her face, he said quietly. “If I did that, we wouldn’t make any of our meetings today.”

Mac blinked. Had she said that aloud?

“No, you didn’t but it was all over your beautiful face,” he answered.

She went slowly back to the dish. “I don’t like that you can do that.”

“What? Read your thoughts?” he asked. “Why?”

Mac swallowed her food. “It puts me at a disadvantage and makes me vulnerable.”

Brandon waited until she looked at him. “I would never hurt you Mackenzie.”

“You don’t have to be the police chief with me.”

Mac sat the fork aside. “Being the chief, I have to always be on guard. It’s imperative for my safety.”

He reached over and took her hand again. “You’re always safe with me.”

She studied him. “You didn’t have a weapon on last night. That’s dangerous.”

“I left it in the car.”

Mac squeezed his hand. “Don’t creep through my backyard any more. I don’t want to accidentally kill you.”

Brandon smiled. “I’ll make sure you know I’m coming next time.”

“Thank you.” She removed her hand and picked up the fork again. Scooping some of the food, she offered it to him and waited until he opened his mouth before sliding the utensil inside.

“You’re making me like watching you eat,” she told him as she watched him chew then swallow.

“Eating is sexy,” he said in a low voice.

Mac smiled. “I’m glad you think so, because I like to, a lot.”

Brandon’s eyes traveled over her in her pristine uniform. “There’s a lot of woman to satisfy inside of there.”

“You did a good job last night…and this morning.”

“Eat your food Mackenzie, before I hold the police chief hostage in her own home.”

Mac finished her breakfast while feeding Brandon a good portion. He stood and took the dirty dishes to the sink and she followed.

“Are you bringing a date to the Policeman’s Ball?” Brandon asked.

Mac loaded the dishes into the dishwasher. “I hadn’t planned to.” She turned to him. “Are you?”

  “No.”

Mac shrugged. “I mean if you did, I wouldn’t have anything to say about it.” She wiped the counter. “I mean we didn’t plan this thing between us.”

“True, but that doesn’t stop me from being relieved that you don’t have a date,” he told her.

She turned to him. “I don’t bring dates to events when I’m on the clock as the Chief.”

“We can only date when you’re off the clock?” Brandon asked.

Mac shook her head. “No, we can’t ‘date’ at all Brandon. What part of being discrete did you miss?”

Brandon frowned. “So we’re just going to sneak around and have sex?”

She walked away. “See this is why…”

Brandon stopped her. “Mackenzie, we don’t have to tell people we’re dating. Since they’re already used to seeing us together, it won’t matter.”

“Brandon, you said our own friends saw what we didn’t want to acknowledge. Now that we’ve been intimate, do you really think people won’t be able to tell when we’re in proximity to one another?”

He nodded. “I’ll take care of it.”

“Take care of what?” she asked confused.

“Of making sure that we can ‘date’ discretely,” he explained.

  Mac looked exasperated. “Why Brandon?”

Brandon pulled her close. “Because I told you this was more than sex Mackenzie.”

  “I don’t need to date.”

He began to kiss her softly. “I do.”

Mac lifted her arms around his neck as he pressed closer. “I’m not losing my job over this Brandon.”

“I’ve got it Mackenzie. Trust me beautiful.” When he began to kiss her again, Mac was persuaded to do just as he’d asked.

  Chapter 6

“You want me to do what?”

Brandon sat behind his desk in his office. “You heard me.”

“You want me to date Mac?”

Brandon began to rub his temples. “Listen Corvus, I haven’t slept all night. I’ve had two hearings this morning and I still have three meetings on my calendar. Don’t play with me right now.”

Corvus smiled. “Okay, for real though. What do you want me to do?”

“I need a cover for when I take Mackenzie out so that people won’t know that we’re actually dating,” Brandon explained.

“So you want me to date you and Mac?”

Brandon pinned him with a frozen stare. “If I get out of this chair Corvus…”

Corvus looked at Brandon. “So you and Mac?”

  “Yes.”

  “Really?”

Brandon frowned. “Is that a problem?”

Corvus shook his head. “Nah, I mean you two been dancing around each other forever. Why now when you can’t even date in public?”

Brandon sighed. “I didn’t want to get involved, especially with the campaign, let alone with the police chief; but once the floodgates were opened, feelings refused to be deferred any longer and there was no turning back. Everything that I’d tried to keep sequestered wouldn’t remain stagnant for another day.”

It was Corvus’ turn to frown. “What?”

Brandon sighed again. “Once we acknowledged that we wanted to smash, it was over.”

Corvus smiled and nodded. “Oh, okay. I got you now.”

Brandon shook his head as Corvus continued. “But everybody knew y’all wanted to smash.”

“I need you to be available Corvus.” Brandon ignored his comment. “If people see us as a trio, they’ll just think the Negus are hanging out with Mackenzie,” Brandon explained.

  “Why me?” Corvus questioned.

“I can’t take Rion away from his family nor Lance from his wife. Khalil is busy with Kyros, so that leaves you.”

  “For how long?” Corvus asked.

“The election is in eight months.”

  Corvus stood. “Eight damn months!”

“Come on Corvus, I’ll owe you one,” Brandon cajoled.

  “Nah, you’ll o
we me several,” Corvus corrected.

Brandon conceded quickly as Corvus took his seat again. “Fine.”

  “Damn, you’re for real.”

“I’m not playing games with Mackenzie. It’s unfortunate that our feelings have manifested at this time, but I won’t cheat her because of the circumstances,” Brandon said seriously.

Corvus nodded. “She went through a lot in that situation with Rion and the police.”

“My father sued the hell out of that department,” Brandon added firmly. “And I worked day and night on that case because I’d promised both Rion and Mackenzie that justice would be served.”

“Mac was a trooper, even without the support of her own parents,” Corvus said quietly.

Brandon reflected on that girl. “She was strong as hell after what she’d been through. Who treats a girl like that?”

“I remember how scared she was to testify, but she did her thing,” Brandon finished. “I was so proud of her.”

Corvus looked across the desk at a somber Brandon. “Why’d you wait so long for her?”

Brandon shrugged. “I always thought in the back of my mind there was chance that she would get with Rion one day and I didn’t want to be in a position where I had been with my best friend’s woman.”

Corvus frowned. “Yeah, that’s messy. That’s why me and Lance kept lists.”

“I really don’t want to know what you and Lance have done in regards to women,” Brandon told him.

“Hey, at least we didn’t have to get two phones,” Corvus pointed out.

Brandon smirked. “I’ll need your help at the Policeman’s Ball.”

“I gotta spend all night stuck under you and Mac?” Corvus complained.

“Just until it’s over…I’ve got that part under control.”

Corvus smiled. “You’d better hope Mac don’t fall under my spell, spending all this time around her.”

  “I’ll take my chances.”

Corvus laughed. “Man, I hope this works out for y’all,” He shook his head. “Because Patrice is going to be watching you like a hawk.”

“Patrice is a non-factor and if she even looks at Mackenzie the wrong way, it’s a done deal,” Brandon vowed.

“Y’all and these crazy ass females,” Corvus shook his head. “First Rion, then Lance…now you.”
