She continued her clean-up job, enjoying taunting Austin even as she felt Rex’s body-heat when he moved close to her hips behind her. She gasped as he slid a slickened finger through her folds. She had to make herself concentrate as he stroked her, forward to her clit and back to her hole. She could hardly keep her mind on what she was doing to Austin. She closed her lips over the head of Austin’s penis and licked around the rim. She felt Rex position the head of his cock at her opening. She took Austin’s cock deeper into her mouth and heard him groan loud and long, as Rex pushed to the hilt in her passage. She groaned softly at the sensation as he slowly slid out and pushed back in. He pushed deeper this time, ever so slowly. She sucked Austin’s cock, ever mindful of the pleasure Rex created in her. And then he pushed the big head of his cock against sensitive places inside. She groaned as he slid his hard shaft slowly along her sweet spot. He created more pleasure for her as he manipulated her pleasure points. She panted as heat built in her belly until she couldn’t keep her mind on what she was doing to Austin.

Suddenly Austin reached to cup her breasts. He squeezed her breasts and rolled her nipples and pinched them. Rex pressed hard and fast into her vagina and she released Austin’s cock and gasped as hot pleasure raced through every nerve and another climax slammed into her, rocking her. Austin climaxed, his cock pumping in her tight fist. Rex climaxed inside her. She cried out with ecstasy, and heard Austin and Rex growl loudly with their pleasure. Her orgasm continued to convulse deep in her belly with Rex’s cock inside her causing even stronger sexual pleasure with every contraction of her sweetly aching flesh. Slowly her body eased, and with little pulses still titillating her, she let her upper body slump down over Austin’s muscular torso, his deep breaths moving her up and down on his chest. Rex pulled his cock out of her slowly, giving her more pleasure.

“Be back in a sec,” Rex said. He placed a warm kiss below her waist.

She smiled against Austin’s chest and stroked her fingers over his silky dusting of fur.

“That was amazing.” Austin said. “You’re incredible, babe. I don’t think I can move from this spot. You’ve taken me higher than I’ve ever been before.”

“I’m glad you liked it,” Cheryl said without lifting her head. She was exhausted. She didn’t think she could move a muscle. Vaguely, she heard the shower going in the bathroom. Austin feathered his fingers over her tight hole and through the juices covering her pussy. He slid his finger up and down her crevice and circled the tight, puckered rim of her little hole. The tip of his finger slid inside. She wiggled as her muscles contracted. He pushed his finger deeper and she shivered at the stretching sensation, the muscles around the opening to her vagina contracting with need again.

“You’re so tight, babe. Don’t worry. We’ll get you ready before we give you that pleasure.”

The muscles around her tight hole squeezed his finger at his very suggestion of taking her that way. She wouldn’t refuse him, or Rex either. She trusted them to go easy and not hurt her. Rex returned and joined them on the bed. He stroked her head softly.

“That feel feels good, Rex.” She sighed and hugged Austin tighter. Austin stroked her shoulders and back with his other hand. “I could stay here with you guys all night.”

“I wouldn’t mind in the least, babe. That sounds good to me. I don’t think I can move.” Austin slowly stroked the inside of her tight hole. Her pussy swelled and burned with her arousal. “Austin, I need more.” She pulled her knees higher along his sides. She rubbed her folds against his hard-muscled belly.

Rex shifted beside them and she felt his fingers slide through her folds and circle her clit with wonderful pressure. She could hear him shifting again and felt his fingers push inside her channel. He stroked in and out, going as deep as he could. He circled her clit and Austin delved deeper in her tight hole. Tingles filled her, her muscles tightened, and she climaxed, contractions slamming her almost to the point of pain. She cried out. At last her body eased to little pulses. She went limp on top of Austin.

He pressed kisses over her face as Rex caressed her softly. She didn’t think she could move.

Rex removed his fingers from her passage and trailed a hand over her hips. “The only problem is that dinner’s almost ready, and we need to eat and get enough sleep tonight. In a few hours we need to be at work.”

Austin groaned. “Did you have to remind us?” He slowly slid his long finger from her tight hole.

“Someone has to,” Rex said and chuckled. “Come on. Into the shower you go, both of you.” He gathered Cheryl up in his strong arms and placed her on her feet under the warm shower. Austin joined her and so did Rex. Together they bathed each other until all traces of the chocolate love fest were removed.

“This shower is different from the one off my bedroom,” she remarked.

  “Is it?” Rex asked.

“Yes, it is,” she repeated. “It’s not as fancy as this one.”

Austin grinned. “I guess we should take care of that. Do you think it should be exactly like this shower?”

“Hmm. I’m not sure,” Cheryl said. “What if it was a blend of this one and the one we used at the lake?”

Rex chuckled. “I think we’d better get Shane over here to take care of this oversight.”

“Sounds like a good plan,” Austin agreed.

Stealing kisses, they toweled dry and headed to their respective bedrooms to dress before dinner.

Cheryl had never been so well-loved in her life. She feared she would never want to leave. Was she falling in love with both Rex and Austin? She feared it was true. And how was that going to play out? She didn’t want to think about it now. She didn’t want to be without either one of them. She wanted to stay with both of them. She wondered what they felt about her. Did they feel the same way? At some point she was going to have to face asking them that question. What if this was just another fling for them? And what if the three of them living together was not something they would be interested in doing? She needed to know soon before she fell hopelessly in love with them. Before it was too late.

What if it was already too late?

  Chapter Eleven

The wolf released the throat of his victim. “Let this be a lesson to all of you,” his voice rasped, echoing through the recesses of the cavern. His second in command rolled and whined in agony, blood covering his fur. “I, King Wra, ruler of all from ancient times will accept no disobedience.” He licked his bloodied lips. When I give an order, it will be obeyed. Whoever dares to disobey will feel my wrath and swift punishment.” He shook his wolf shape from head to tail and shifted to his human form.

“Out of my sight, before I do you more harm.” He kicked the beaten wolf. “You’re nothing but pitiful scum in my eyes. You failed to follow my orders and bring me the waitress. Next time, do not fail me, or it will be the end of you.”

From long ago, Wra had known he was supreme ruler over the earth. Before that time he’d been a shifter guide to a weaker ruler, easy to over-throw. Becoming ever more powerful, he took the ruling place of his people as Shaman. Continuing to use his power, knowing he would rule the earth he didn't care that his animal guides left him, their allegiance meaning nothing to them.

His power was the most important reality to him, for with it he could rule more than his guides could imagine. He was the one who gave them their spiritual powers, but they turned their backs on him and couldn’t protect his people. They ran him out of his ancient city which he ruled until then.

He had bided his time, and now he would take control again. His time had come. When he prevailed, he would make the guides who’d left him all those years ago his slaves to do his bidding. He would have the power to take any shape he wanted, not just a wolf or a bear.

Austin and Rex had weaknesses, secrets that he intended to use again. He also intended to use the biggest weakness of Austin and Rex, their pretty little girlfriend, Cheryl McQueen. With her in his power he would gain the advantage he would use to
control Heat Springs and all of the guides who left him so long ago. They would feel his iron control and bend to his will the rest of their lives.

Mike called the meeting to order. “I’ve asked the members of the Alpha Protectors here tonight to discuss the gang that’s preying on Heat Springs.” He glanced around the big living room of his home and saw that Austin and Rex hadn’t shown up for the meeting.

“I’d like to welcome Mrs. Adams, mother of several of us here tonight. Mom, please tell everyone what you told me earlier.”

The attractive blond rose to her feet and faced the members. “I believe this gang is led by the ex-husband of my close friend. I also believe he has been visiting Heat Springs for the last two decades to attempt to control his ex-wife and to bully children. He also had friends he brought with him later. I believe he wants to control Heat Springs.”

Mike’s dad also rose and faced the members. “We’re fairly certain the gang leader is the same guide from hundreds of years back who became evil and was run out of the place he tried to rule.”

When his mom and dad took their seats again, Mike rose and addressed the members. “The vision of the Alpha Protectors is in jeopardy from this shifter and his gang, when the most important aspect of life in Heat Springs has been that people will be safe here. Our pledge, ‘Let me help you solve your problems. I am a protector, like a black jaguar, I’ll keep you safe from all danger and soothe your fears.’ Our promise to our town is threatened by outsiders determined to destroy and control. We cannot let this happen. Watch your backs and each other. Be on guard at all times.”

The three of them had finished the delicious dinner that Rex had cooked up, and the kitchen had been cleaned, and the dishwasher turned on. Austin and Rex took their drinks and headed outside at Austin’s suggestion.

They pulled several lounge chairs close to a table beside the big swimming pool and waited for Cheryl to join them.

“What do you think she’s doing?” Rex asked.

“Maybe she’s putting on a swim suit,” Austin guessed.

“She should know that she doesn’t need one with us.”

“I don’t have a clue, really,” Austin said.

Rex looked down at the drink in his hand. “I realized a long time back that you put yourself in too much danger and take too many chances in protecting others.”

Austin shook his head. “Do not.”

Rex nodded. “Yeah, you do. You’ve done that since the day that young kid died. He’d been the victim of too much razzing and bullying. He died trying to ride a dangerous bull that he had no business getting up on. You often take chances that are exactly that dangerous. It worries me. I don’t want to lose my best friend. I hope you’ll find peace with the past, someday, and I hope you won’t end up badly hurt or killed because of trying to make up for what you believe you should have done. You still fear you didn’t have the courage you should have had at a young age. That’s not true.”

“Hell,” Austin swore. “We both jumped into that fight today when that idiot grabbed Cheryl and pulled her down on his lap. I saw red, and I know you did, too. I hate for anyone, customers or people working for us, to be upset by anything, especially a bully like that guy. My reaction had nothing to do with our childhood fears. But making a move on Cheryl was way too much for us to not react like we did.”

“You’re right about that. I felt the same way about Cheryl,” Rex said.

“Have you noticed lately that a man who resembles that guy who bullied us when we were young has been coming into the dance hall? He’s been disturbing longtime patrons with his behavior. They obviously don’t know him, and he acts like he’s their long lost friend.”

“Maybe he’s trying to get them to buy him a drink.”

“I think it’s more than that. I think he’s up to no good. Anyway, he gets my temper stirred up by that obnoxious behavior. I’m a normally easygoing and friendly guy toward all of our patrons.”

“You were a tiger, today, both of you were,” Cheryl said as she slipped silently up behind them.

They turned and smiled at her. “Sit with us for a while.” Rex handed her a drink.

“You two were talking about something serious when I walked up. Can you let me in on it? Does it have something to do with those guys you fought at the dance hall today? Do I need to watch my back?” she asked, smiling at them.

“It could be something you should be aware of,” Austin said and looked at Rex. “I think we need to explain how we suspect what happened today was influenced by what happened to us growing up. Maybe it will help Cheryl stay safer while she’s working at the dance hall.”

“I agree.” Rex looked with determination at Austin. “You start and I’ll fill in where I think I need to.”

Cheryl looked from Rex to Austin. “What happened?”

Austin rubbed a hand across his jaw. He hated to think of those days when a stranger had come to town. “I don’t even like to think about it, but just for you, here goes. It all actually started when we were in grade school. We were both bullied, and hurt by rocks thrown at us when we were very young. I was hurt one time when I was trying to protect Rex, my best friend even then, from the evil man who followed us and bullied us. He wouldn’t leave us alone whenever he came to Heat Springs.”

“When Austin was injured trying to protect me from the bully, I felt guilty and responsible for what happened to Austin,” Rex added. “Since then I’ve always been determined to protect Austin from danger. I still feel guilty about what happened to him, even though I had also been hurt. We promised each other that we would keep it all secret and never tell anyone what the evil man had done to us, or that he made us feel unworthy.”

“I was thirteen when that stranger came to town with a younger man,” Austin continued. “Rex and I saw that new guy bully a younger boy than us. Both of us were furious. Intimidated, I didn’t face the bully and help that kid because I’d been bullied when I was younger.”

Rex shook his head. “We didn’t face the bully and he had four other friends backing him up. We didn’t help the kid who needed help because we had been hurt before. The fear controlled us at that time.”

“We’ve always felt guilty about not helping that guy,” Austin said. “We felt like we were responsible when the kid took one chance too many trying to prove his courage riding bulls. He died from injuries he got from a bull ride gone wrong. We’ve never forgotten. We’ve visited the guy’s grave every year on the day of the month that he died after his final rodeo, but I’ve kept those awkward, uncertain young teenage years locked away in my brain. I try not to think about it. Heat Springs was a small town then. It was easy to run into people, but I never faced those bullies then. I didn’t stand up to the bully later either when the guy bullied a young kid in town who had been given the care of our teenage friend’s horse. The same bully made off with the horse. Rex and I were unable to stop him. Because of those memories and my guilt, I lost my easygoing way, and now I see red whenever anyone is persecuted by a bully.”

“I feel the same,” Rex said. “But I also worry that Austin still feels responsible and carries too much guilt. I was there, and I’m just as guilty.”

Cheryl shook her head. “I think you’re both being too hard on yourselves. From what you’ve said, you were young when that bullying started. The creep made you feel bad every time he was in town. He even had someone help him harass you. What an awful person he was. No wonder you couldn’t help others. You were too young to even deal with what had happened to you. I know from my own experiences with you that you’re good men. You’d help anyone in trouble. You’re old enough now, and that makes a huge difference in how a person faces trouble. When you were young you didn’t know how to face that bully, but you do now, and that’s what’s important. The young kid who was injured riding the bull shouldn’t have been on that bull, but you can’t do anything about what someone else does. You can only direct your own live
s. I believe, because you’re doing wonderful things for so many people in need now, that you’ve wiped the slate clean. You could set up a special award or something in honor of the young man who died. Maybe even sponsor kids who want to attend special classes for the rodeo.”

Austin looked at Rex. “That’s a good idea.”

“That’s a great idea,” Rex agreed.

“I’m so glad you think so.” She smiled at them. “What do you think about a swim before heading to bed?”

Austin grinned at Cheryl. “That sounds great. Last one in…” He stood and swept Cheryl into his arms. She yelped. Without stopping, he took two long strides and jumped in the pool with her in his arms.

Her light-weight pullover top floated in the water. “Let’s get this off of you.” Austin desperately wanted to taste her pink tits and feast on her for dessert.

  Chapter Twelve

Austin let loose of her, and to her surprise she was able to stand on the bottom of the pool with the water only coming up to her middle. She held her arms up over her head and he lifted her sleeveless top off. When she lowered her arms he tossed her shirt onto the side of the pool. Rex jumped into the pool not far from them. Waves of water lapped around her and Austin. He cupped one of her breasts, took the puckered nipple between his warm lips, and sucked it into his mouth. He tweaked the hard nipple with his tongue and closed his teeth gently on it. She inhaled sharply at the hot stream of pleasure that surged to her folds and the opening to her passage. He cupped her other breast and rolled the nipple between his fingers and thumb. She groaned with the increased heat that plunged to her sensitive flesh and made the flesh between her thighs ache.
