Claire turned and faced him. “Maybe you’ll get a chance to meet her.”
“So your mother is still alive?” Sabrina asked.
Ignoring Sabrina’s question, Claire said as she walked off, “You should relax. I’m going to go back to the kitchen. I was just making dinner. I hope you all like pasta puttanesca.”
