Stealing the Biker's Heart (Dogs of Fire: Savannah Chapter, #2)

He continued to thrust into me, then, God, finally, he growled, “Now, baby.”

I exploded, falling over the back of the sofa as I tried to catch my breath. Removing his hand from between my legs, he slid out of me, and headed to the bathroom. I stayed put and he returned with a warm washcloth to clean me up.

Turning me to face him, he grinned, kissing me gently. I smiled against his lips. “I think I need to find quick release panties,” I complained (sort of), glancing to my left where the ripped lace of my underwear lay like wreckage on the floor.

He cupped my face. “Or you could eliminate the issue and not wear them at all.”

I rolled my eyes. “Why do I feel like you’re going to ruin every pair, so I’m forced to do just that?”

Alamo grinned. “I would never do something so brilliant.”

  “Right,” I deadpanned.

“I hate to fuck and run, but I’m already late.”

“Me too.” I grinned, fixing my clothing, and picking up my panties. “But you can fuck and run anytime you want.”

He kissed me one more time, then left me to finish getting ready.

Twenty minutes later, I pulled open my door to Willow and Parker with an apologetic grimace. “Sorry, I’m not quite ready.”

“What?” Parker said with a dramatic gasp. “Little miss time keeper is running late?”

Willow chuckled. “Did Alamo do something to delay you? Something good?”

“Ohmigod, suck it. Both of you,” I retorted with a giggle. “I’ll be five minutes.”

We left my place ten minutes later, and headed to dinner.

The plan was to eat at Chez Orange then head to one of the clubs the Dogs owned. Alamo (along with Dash) had laid down the law, so to speak, and insisted we go places they could keep an eye on us. Chez Orange had been a tough sell, since it wasn’t close to any of the clubs, but Alamo compromised by sending along a couple of the recruits as muscle (and designated drivers), which was fine by us, since we wanted to drink.

Walking into the restaurant, I was surprised to run into both Thomas and Michael. Together. This gave me pause, because I liked Thomas and knew that they knew each other, but didn’t realize they were friendly.

“Jasmine,” Thomas said with a wide grin. “How are you?”

“Hi, Thomas,” I said. “I’m well.”

  “When’s your reservation?”

“Six.” We were early, despite my previous distraction from Alamo.

“Could I speak with you? Privately, before you sit down?”

“Um...” I glanced at Willow and Parker (who shrugged).

“Right over here,” he said, and I nodded, following him to a quieter corner.

I could still see the girls, and Parker had her eagle eye on both of us, while Willow watched Michael in trepidation.

Thomas brought my focus back to him when he touched my arm. “Did I do something wrong?”

  I frowned. “When?”

“In general. I was disappointed you canceled our date, and I want to make sure it wasn’t because of something I did.”

“No, not at all.” I sighed. “It’s complicated, honestly, and I’m sorry it was so abrupt.”

He put his arms behind his back and lowered his head. “I do hate complicated.”

I grimaced. “I really am sorry, Thomas. Truly.”

He nodded. “I’ll escort you back to your friends.”

I led him back to the group and we went our separate ways. It was weird, but also very blasé. Aspen and Andi walked into the restaurant a few minutes later, and I noticed Aspen give Michael a wide berth. Apparently, his creepiness was wide reaching.

After dinner, we headed out to our awaiting chauffeurs (Shadow and Doom tonight), and drove the twenty minutes to the club. I didn’t even know this place existed, but that probably wasn’t a surprise to anyone. It wasn’t in a neighborhood Willow, Parker, and I frequented.

“I feel overdressed,” Parker mused as we walked to the front.

“Me too,” I admitted, and that didn’t mean overdressed as in fancy... it meant we had too many clothes on.

Willow pulled her coat closer. “I don’t know about this.”

“Dash approved it, honey,” Parker pointed out. “It’ll be fine.”

I slid my arm into Willow’s. My virginal, very sheltered, and wholly innocent friend would have never even entered this part of the city, mostly because her father would have built up the dangers of it to her.

“It looks... um... rough,” she whispered.

“It looks like a good time,” Parker countered, quickening her step.

  She was right. It did.

“Come on,” Aspen said, pushing her boobies up a little higher and pulling her shirt down. “We’re a pack. It’s all good.”

There was a line around the building, but Shadow led us around the side and we were admitted into a private, employees only area... where Alamo and Dash were waiting.

Alamo pulled me in for a kiss and I gripped his cut. “This is supposed to be girls’ night,” I pointed out, breaking our connection.

“And it still is,” he said, kissing me again. “Dash and I are leavin’. Just wanted to stop by and make sure you were inside safely.”

I raised an eyebrow. “Hmm-mmm. Sure, you did.”

He grinned. “You gonna get wasted?”

“That’s the plan.” I slid my arms around his waist. “You gonna fuck me if I get wasted?”

  “Nope.”

  I wrinkled my nose. “Seriously?”

  He kissed my nose. “Seriously.”

I rolled my eyes. “Then I guess I won’t be getting wasted.”

He chuckled. “You can get wasted, just sober up before I come get you.”

  “You’re getting me?”

  “Yeah.”

  “What about Shadow and Doom?”

  “I told you I don’t share.”

“Funny,” I deadpanned. “So, you’re telling me that you’re going to wrap up all the stuff you have to wrap up in time to take me home and fuck me?”

His eyes closed for a brief second and I loved that I could rile him up. He met my eyes with a sexy smile and said, “Yeah, baby, I’m gonna take you home and fuck you. Maybe we should go now.”

“Patience, honey. It’ll be worth the wait.”

“Yeah, I’m aware. Doesn’t mean I want to wait, though.”

  I grinned. “I hear you.”

He kissed me again, then led me back to my girls. Well... three of them, anyway. It appeared Dash had Willow pulled off to the side and was accosting her much the same way Alamo did me. And she didn’t seem to be complaining.

“Dash,” Alamo called. “We gotta go, man.”

Dash reluctantly pulled away from Willow and led her back to us.

“Doom’s gonna be close,” Alamo said. “You need anything, you let him know.”

I nodded, and Doom led us into the main club.

  Alamo

Mounting my bike, I led Dash and Badger back to the compound. Shadow and Doom were on watch, so they stayed with our women.

God, it felt good to ride, even in this weather. As weird as that sounded, there was something about the cold wind in your face and your body feeling every rumble of the pipes...it was the feeling of freedom itself.

After pulling up to the compound, we backed our bikes into our designated spaces, then headed inside. Doc, Gator, and a handful of officers and veteran patches had apparently been awaiting our arrival. Everyone was seated and silent, and all eyes were on us as soon as we were through the door.

“This can’t be good,” I said to Badger.

  “No shit,” he replied.

“Good, you’re both here. Sit down so we can get started,” Doc said.

“What exactly is goin’ on, and why do I feel like I’m in the principal’s office?” I asked.

“It’s not like that, Alamo,” Doc said.

“But there is an ‘it’ to discuss?

  “Yup,” Doc said.

“And I’m assuming by the way y’all are looking at us, it’s got to do with Badger and me?”

“More specifically about your sister. Please, guys, sit down,” Doc said, and we did.

“What’s Quin got to do with Club business?” Badger asked.

“Well, that’s just it. She doesn’t, but the two of you have been spending a lot of time, and even club resources on—”

“Hold on one second. Doc, if you start giving me shit about being there when my sister needs me, we’re gonna have a big problem here.” I felt heat creeping up the back of my neck. Normally I’d never challenge my president, especially publicly, but all bets were off when it came to my family.

“I’m not saying that, Alamo. You know the Dogs are a family, and any kin to you, becomes our family. We’ll all do whatever it takes to keep Quin safe, you know that. I just need to make sure your focus is where I need it to be as well. That goes for you and Badger. We’ve got a club to rebuild, and two more projects in the works right after that.”

  “I get it,” I replied.

“Good, because I’d hate to think I need to explain myself further with my Sergeant at Arms,” he said, then turned to Badger, “and one of my most trusted patches. I know you guys are worried about Quin, and like I said, I’m there for you, anytime or any place, but you’ve got to communicate with me, and I need you two here for me when I need you.”

“We’re solid, boss,” I replied, and Badger nodded.

“Good. Now, why don’t you guys get us up to speed with what’s going on, and we’ll do what we can to get this Michael prick out of the way so you two can focus on business again.”

Badger stayed somewhat silent as I filled the Club in on everything we’d learned so far.

“Okay, Alamo, you and Badger tag-team with watch duty,” Doc said. “Keep me posted on new developments. Dash and Doom can supervise the final club build. We’ve got less than a month until soft opening, so we need to hire staff.”

“I’ll interview the dancers,” Gator offered, waggling his eyebrows.

  “Yeah, me too,” Milky said.

“Okay, perverts, none of you are gettin’ anywhere near the girls until openin’ night,” Doc said, and the room full of bikers groaned in protest. “Olivia’s going to interview them, then send them on to me.” He nodded to Dash. “Willow still good to test the cooks?”

Dash nodded. “Yep. She and I are headin’ to a few of the restaurants next week.”

“Good.” Doc checked his phone. “Anything else?”

When no one said anything, he made the motion to close the meeting and I seconded it. We filed out into the great room and played a game of pool before it was time to get our women.

  Jasmine

I was in the middle of the dance floor, sweating my ass off, when strong, familiar arms wrapped around me from behind. “You ready to go, Firefly?”

I giggled, turning to face Alamo. “No!”

He grinned. “It’s two a.m., Jasmine. Club’s closin’.”

The music faded just as he yelled “closin’,” and I giggled again as his voice boomed over the quiet. I dropped my head to his chest and he pulled me close and kissed my head. “You wasted?” he asked.

I met his eyes and shook my head. “No way.”

  He chuckled. “Good girl.”

I gripped his cut. “You gonna take me home and fuck me now?”

  “Hell, yeah, I am.”

I said goodbye to the other girls, then followed Alamo out to his truck, pulling him in for a kiss as he opened my door for me. “Hurry,” I begged.

Alamo stroked my face and nodded, helping me up into the cab, then making his way to the driver’s side. He made it to my place in record time and I practically ripped his clothes off as we walked to my door. Keeping his lips planted on mine, he unlocked the door and guided us inside. We broke apart briefly to disarm the alarm, then lock everything up again.

After making sure Scruffy was okay, we made a mad dash to my room, closing the door before my cat could make his move. I refused to be interrupted by a feline version of a clam jam.

Alamo reached for me, but I grabbed his hand. “I’m going to remove my panties before you shred them.”

He grinned, tugging me forward and kissing me.

  “Mo—”

  “Shh.”

“Don’t you dare rip my panties.”

“Shh,” he hissed, and kissed me again, scooping my skirt up around my waist.

  “Valen,” I warned.

His eyes got dark and he leaned closer. “Fuckin’ love hearin’ my real name on your lips, Firefly.”

He slid his hand between my legs and he pushed my panties aside to get access to my pussy. Slipping three fingers inside, I whimpered when one stroked my G-spot, and I couldn’t stop myself from gripping his arms to stay upright.

“That’s right, baby. Let it build.”

  “Mo,” I rasped.

  “Don’t come yet.”

  “Ohmigod.”

He continued to pump his fingers into me, then his thumb pressed against my clit and I lost my mind, exploding around his fingers. He pulled his hand from between my legs and licked his fingers. “Fuckin’ honey.”

I closed my eyes and let my body process the orgasm, leaning heavily against Alamo.

  “You okay?”

I shook my head. “No. You killed me.”

“We’ll get you naked and you can lie there and relax, then.”

I laughed. “You’ll do all the work?”

He grinned. “I’m a giver, baby.”

“Thanks for not annihilating my undies.”

  “Like I said, I’m a giver.”

I hummed, sliding his cut from his shoulders. “My turn.”

Unzipping his jeans, I pushed them from his hips, boxer briefs and all, then knelt in front of him. I ran my tongue over the tip of his already rock-hard cock, licking the precum from it, before sliding my lips further down and taking as much as I could.

I slid my hand down the shaft, cupping his balls as I took him deeper, but then I lost purchase on his dick as I was hauled up and guided onto the bed on all fours. “Alamo,” I growled.

He didn’t respond, just slid into me with delicious slowness (after he gently removed my panties... no tearing this time). “Mo,” I whispered.

“There she is,” he said, burying himself deeper.

All coherent train of thought was lost after that as he slammed into me over and over again, then fingered my clit until I cried out his name and exploded around his dick.

Alamo wasn’t far behind me, and we fell in a heap of half-dressed, panting bodies onto my comforter.

  “I love you,” I whispered.

He kissed my shoulder, but didn’t say anything. For some reason, this didn’t bother me (too, too much). I knew without a doubt how I felt, and was pretty sure I knew he felt the same. I appreciated that he wouldn’t say it until he was certain, but I also hoped it would be soon.

  Alamo

The next morning, I was in my shop when Jasmine’s sister pulled her Volvo up to one of the open bays. I made my way to her open window and leaned down. “Hey, Jules.”

She sighed. “Hi, Alamo. Thank you so much for taking a look for me.”

“No problem. Go ahead and lock up and I’ll have you fill out some paperwork in the office.”

Juliet nodded and did as I asked, then followed me inside. I handed her a clipboard and a pen just as I saw Simon pull into the parking lot. Juliet signed the paperwork and set it down with a smile. “I think that’s everything.”

“I’ll have a look at it and call you with what I find,” I promised.

  “Thank you.”

Simon walked in with a grin and wrapped an arm around his wife’s waist, kissing her cheek. “You didn’t wait for me, sweetheart.”

Juliet’s cheeks reddened, and she leaned into him. “Sorry. I couldn’t stand it anymo
re. It’s driving me crazy.”

“You’re all set,” I said, breaking their moment when I handed her copies of her paperwork.

  “Thanks, Alamo.”

The couple left the shop and I went about trying to figure out what was causing the rattle.

  * * *

Four hours later, Juliet’s car was fixed (loose wiring mechanism in the dashboard which required a full disassemble in order to find the fuckin’ issue), and I was headed out.

I was workin’ in Dalton’s shop for the rest of the week, so Shutter was running my store while I was gone. I had other, more pressing, things to deal with at the moment, however, so I climbed onto my bike and took off.

  Jasmine

“Are you serious?” I asked, my stomach roiling.

“Sorry, baby, I am,” Alamo said.

He’d just informed me he’d be staying at the compound for the next two nights, ergo, I wouldn’t see him until late Friday afternoon.

  “Are we okay?”

“Yeah, why would you think otherwise?”

“Because you’ve been a little distant and now I won’t see you for three days—”

  “Two.”

  “Fifty-four hours,” I countered.

He chuckled. “Your skill with numbers is a little scary.”

“I’ve been told that before,” I grumbled.

“But in answer to your question, we are fine. This has nothing to do with you or us. Just shit I need to take care of.” Alamo sighed. “It’s not like I’m happy about this either, Jasmine.”

“I know.” I bit my lip. “I’m sorry. I’m just frustrated.”

  “I get it.”

  “Maybe I’ll stay with Parker.”

  “How come?”

“I don’t know if I can sleep in my bed without you now,” I said, somewhat pathetically.

  “Fuck, baby, you’re killin’ me.”

“How badly?” I challenged. “Enough to come home tonight?”

  “No.”

“Okay, then I’m going to stay at Parker’s.”

“That’s fine, but make sure you check in with Shadow whenever you go anywhere.”

“I will,” I promised. “You have Parker’s address, right?”

  “Yeah, why?”

“Just in case you finish sooner and want to sneak into my bed.”

“Baby,” he said with a chuckle. “God damn, you’re cute.”
