Allan has always walked this journey with me and without him there would be no book at all. I would never have lasted the distance without his love, encouragement and reassurance.

About the Authors
JUDY STEEL was a nurse for over 30 years. When she is not working in Africa she lives with her husband in the seaside village of Port Elliot, 80 kilometres south of Adelaide. In 2006 she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for her work in Uganda. This is her first book.
MICHAEL SEXTON is a journalist for The 7:30 Report and in 2008 he was named South Australian Journalist of the Year.
