  I wasn't sure what to say. The whole mess from earlier was still in my mind, my punishment coming back in waves of memory as I rode the high left from my performance. I wanted to say that I loved him, too, and that I would always be around for him, but I couldn't seem to make anything come out of my mouth. Stricken speechless, I leaned into his hand and sighed happily. Daddy smiled and exited the car so he could walk around to my side and lift me out. I worried about the icing sticking to the seat even though I knew it wasn't a big deal.

  After taking me inside, Daddy draw a warm bubble bath which he dipped me in once the tub was full. He scrubbed every inch of my sticky body, making sure to gently comb the tangles out of my hair that the honey had caused. Bubbles stuck to the inside of the tub and overflowed to the ceramic tile below, but he didn't seem to be bothered by the mess. Just like me, he didn't seem bothered by messes. His loving hands rubbed over my legs and I felt such love in that moment that I was sure I could die happy.

  “I love you, Daddy,” I whispered in the silence of the bathroom. “Thank you.”

  My words were met with the most appreciative smile and a warm kiss, Daddy's lips wrapping around my mouth to savor the sweet taste of me. He would be my Daddy forever. I could feel it in his kiss. He'd never leave me and I'd never have to worry because we would always be together. Forever.
