“And what about him?” Valor asked and motioned back to Samuel, who still sat wrapped in a ball under the table.

“We take him to the Alpha house and place him in a cell there so the council can question him,” Ryx answered.

“Okay, so we have a plan. Let’s get that portal open and start moving these people…creatures…whatever they are,” Sasha whispered, then turned and walked back toward the cages and the other men. Sasha explained what they were going to do, then opened a portal into the holding block at the training facility. Each cage was lifted by a team of two and brought through the portal, being placed in one of the holding cells at the training facility, but the rogues weren’t released yet. There were so many rogues that they had to double and triple up on a few in each cell, bringing in extra cots and blankets.

Once all the cages had been moved and the cells had been locked, then Valor, Ryx, and Sasha used their magic to make the cages disappear. The soon-to-be rogues within them flinched, their eyes widening in fear and shock when they found themselves not in the cramped cages any longer.

“We know you’re all afraid and not sure what’s going on, but try to relax and get comfortable. We already put in an order to the kitchen to bring down some food and water for all of you, and some warm clothes,” Nicco said, then watched as the men and women remained still as they just stared.

“They’ll be fine. Let’s get back to the cave and take care of Samuel and send Jazz back here to help the others,” Valor said.

Nicco, Valor, Ryx, and Sasha went back through the portal to find Samuel now curled even tighter around himself and shaking, small whimpers coming from him, as Jazz knelt nearby looking lost and panicked.

“What the hell happened?” Sasha demanded as he moved closer, kneeling to get in a better position to look at Samuel.

“I tried to get him to come out. I swear I didn’t do anything to hurt him. I never touched him. I was just telling him he had nothing to worry about with the council. That they would just want to speak with him, but he insisted they would torture and then kill him. I tried to assure him that they wouldn’t do that, but he freaked out and started crying about it not being his fault,” Jazz quickly explained.

Sasha sighed, closing his eyes. He had a feeling that his initial thoughts were correct. This poor man was being forced to do these things. He took a deep breath and released it, then opened his eyes and met Jazz’s concerned gaze. “It’s okay, Jazz. I’ll take it from here. Head back through the portal and help the others with the prisoners.”

“Yes, sir,” Jazz answered. He stood and then turned and walked through the portal.

Sasha turned his full attention toward Samuel. “I know you’re afraid, little one, but I give you my word as a fae warrior that I won’t let anyone harm you. Something tells me that you need our help and I promise you the council will give it to you.”

Samuel peeked up over his knees, his green eyes glazed with tears and full of fear, his short, red-blond hair a mess, sticking out in all different directions. “But, they will kill me when they find me. Malachi always told me I couldn’t trust the council. And Minos told me they would torture me if they ever got their hands on me for what I have done against them,” Samuel replied in a shaky voice.

“They lied, Samuel. This council will want to talk to you and they will ask you to tell them everything you know and what you have done, but I promise you that they are a fair council. They will never torture you or kill you if you are honest with them.”

Samuel stared at him for a few moments, as if studying Sasha to see if what he said was true. That was good. It showed that Samuel wasn’t gullible and just willing to believe anything. For some reason, that thought brought a sense of peace to Sasha.

He gave Samuel a friendly smile and extended his hand in invitation for Samuel to take it. “I promise you that I will stay by your side and not let anyone, and I mean anyone, harm you. I give you my solemn vow.”

Samuel just stared at him for a few more moments, then his gaze shifted to Sasha’s outstretched hand, then back to his face. Samuel gave a small nod, then looked away as he started to unfold his body. Once Samuel cleared the table, he reached out with one hand and placed his smaller hand in Sasha’s bigger one. Sasha didn’t grasp or pull him, he just allowed Samuel to hold onto him as he climbed to his feet.

Sasha also stood, keeping his eyes on the skittish man. Samuel stood before him, shaking like a leaf, head lowered so no one could see him. Sasha wanted to growl his displeasure at the state of Samuel’s lean body and tattered clothes. The few bites and bruises he could see on Samuel’s pale skin made Sasha’s teeth clench as a burning light of rage engulfed him. He just wanted to track down everyone who had ever hurt this man and rip them apart.

“It’s okay, Samuel. I promise,” Sasha said again, trying to encourage the little man as he gently wrapped his fingers around Samuel’s hand.

Samuel’s head came up slowly and their gazes met. Sasha’s eyes went wide in shock as his jaw dropped.

“Holy shit,” Nicco whispered his surprise.

“What the hell?” Valor chimed in.

“Wow. I never would have called this one,” Ryx added in an equally surprised tone.

Castiel opened the door, then stepped aside to allow Kia and Shay to enter first. Once inside, Shay took a few slow steps as he turned his head one way and then the other, taking in their surroundings. Kia moved closer, he too looking around at their mate’s inner sanctum, his private place, and Kia was surprised at what he saw.

Castiel was a big, strong, fierce warrior. An Enforcer for the Alpha Prime and council. This was not what Kia had envisioned his mate’s room to look like. Not that he had really envisioned anything, but this would have never been in his thoughts had someone asked him to guess.

The first thing he found astonishing was that the ceiling was at least sixteen feet from the floor and made almost entirely of glass. The glass wasn’t flat, but two panels lifted in the center to create a triangular ridge, giving the room even more footage there. The rest of the ceiling was covered in a honey colored hardwood.

The walls were painted a soft, almost olive green, but had panels of sandy brown thatch material, like reeds or bamboo. To the far left were two large, white paneled sliding doors, like those Kia had seen in pictures in Japanese houses. Turning his head right, he found a gorgeous brass spiral staircase that led up to a loft. At the top of the stairs was a mirror that took up the whole wall. Then along the back wall from left to right and floor to ceiling appeared to be one big dresser. It held drawers of different depths, a few double doors, racks for shoes, and cubbies that held neatly folded piles of shirts, jeans, and sweaters.

Then along the right side of the loft was a sitting area with a large comfortable looking sandy brown sofa, a few matching chairs, and a chaise lounge that sat along the big bay window. And the whole loft was edged with a beautiful wooden rail.

Below the loft along the back wall was two large French doors to the left and right, that opened up to a deck outside, and in the middle of the French doors was also the same paned glass with segmented arch, but these glass panels didn’t open. And what sat before this glass wall was something Kia had never seen before. The room held no actual bed, but instead there was a pile of big fluffy, white, tan, and green soft pillows. Kia figured if he ran and jumped into the pile, diving head first, he wouldn’t get hurt. It was the most beautiful and comfortable looking bed he had ever seen. And the blankets that lay about the pillows looked so warm and soft.

To the right of him was a small hall and Kia could see what looked like a kitchen that sat back there. Along the right wall was a built-in bookcase, with a few pieces of art on some shelves, books on others, and a plant here and there. A few artfully placed natural landscape pictures hung on the walls, and the floor was covered in thin mats of different shades of brown, that also reminded Kia of the Orient.

  “This…room is so…wow. It’s so exqui
site,” Shay said in appreciation.

“I was hoping it was comfortable,” Castiel answered.

Kia turned to face him, forgetting that their mate was even there until he spoke. Kia had been so taken by the room they stood in. Castiel looked so nervous that Kia wanted to take the look away. “It is definitely comfortable. All I thought about when I saw that bed was if I dove into it head first I would probably be okay and not get hurt,” Kia said with a laugh.

“Me, too,” Shay agreed. “I have never seen a bed made of only pillows. It makes me want to just lay down and roll around in it.” Shay laughed.

“Be my guest. It’s now your room, too. Well, you and Kia, if you both want,” Cass replied, again his voice sounding nervous.

Shay smiled and walked closer to him, stopping when their chests were only a few inches apart, Shay stared up into Castiel’s eyes. Kia smiled to himself because he knew that look in Shay’s eyes. He had it turned on him many times. Their big mate was about to be very happy.

Shay reached up and threaded his fingers through Castiel’s shaggy brown hair. “That’s why we’re here, mate. Because we want. I have seen you in my visions for a long time. I have been watching and waiting. Praying for the day when the time was right for us to come to you. I know that Kia and I are new to you, but we have been dreaming of you, of this, for so long,” Shay said, then placed his other hand on Castiel’s chest as he pushed up on his tiptoes and leaned in, capturing Castiel’s lips with his.

Kia watched as Castiel’s arms wrapped around Shay without hesitation and drew Shay closer. Their bodies pressed together as Castiel took over the kiss. Kia’s cock hardened within seconds as he watched the man he already was in love with kiss the man he knew he would be in love with, too, someday.

Shay moaned and writhed in Castiel’s arms as he wrapped himself around their strong mate, kissing him back with the same passion Castiel was bestowing upon Shay. Castiel growled from deep in his chest and the sound made Kia needy. He desperately wanted to know what it felt like to be kissed by Castiel. They had both waited so long for this day and now that it was here, he wanted to jump on his mate, open to the man completely, and claim him. So far, Castiel was everything they thought he was and more.

The pair broke their kiss, pulling back slowly as Shay licked his lips and hummed, appreciating the taste of their mate. “I think our Kia needs to experience some of that. He loves to kiss. It’s one of his favorite things to do and he is so good at it,” Shay said in an almost purr. The sound shot right to Kia’s cock. He loved when Shay spoke all sultry like that. It set his body on fire.

Castiel’s head turned in his direction and Kia’s breath caught from the heat he saw in his mate’s eyes. Castiel gently placed Shay on his feet, then turned toward Kia and took the few feet that separated them. He slid an arm around Kia’s waist, pulling him close. Kia’s feet left the floor as their chests pressed together. He could feel the heat coming off Castiel. Kia just wanted to climb inside the man.

Castiel moved in, pressing his lips to Kia’s. Kia gasped at the initial contact. Feeling his mate against him for the first time and having Castiel’s arms around him was a dream come true. He opened for Castiel and moaned when the strong wolf slid his tongue inside, then explored every inch of Kia’s mouth. He melted against Castiel and wrapped his arms around his neck as his legs went around Castiel’s waist. Kia kissed him back with equal need and want.

It was a moment right up there with the first time he and Shay had kissed. It was mind-shattering and totally consuming. It had him wanting to beg this man to keep him, claim him, and never let him go. And Castiel’s taste was astounding. Shay tasted of honeysuckle, but Castiel tasted more rich—like dark chocolate—and Kia wanted more.

He knew Castiel needed more time to get to know them, but he had been waiting for this for so long and now knew with this first kiss, that even though he hadn’t met Castiel before tonight, he was already in love with this man and wanted him forever.

After a few minutes, Castiel broke the kiss and pulled back, but didn’t release him. Kia opened his eyes and met Castiel’s happy gaze. “Shay was right, you are a fantastic kisser. I think I could get used to kissing you for hours.”

“Mmm, me, too,” Kia said breathlessly.

“You both must be tired, though. I heard you say you walked all day yesterday to get here and now with all this drama, you must be exhausted,” Castiel said.

“I am a bit tired, but I would gladly lose more sleep to kiss you again,” Kia answered, then blushed from his forwardness.

“Gods, you’re so beautiful. And that blush just makes you more so. I would love to go on kissing you, but I have mates now and I need to make sure they are taken care of,” Castiel replied and kissed the tip of Kia’s nose, making him smile shyly and blush deeper.

“So, you accept us?” Shay asked anxiously. Kia could hear that Shay was afraid they would be rejected.

Castiel gently placed Kia on his feet and took his hand, then moved to stand by Shay. He reached up and cupped Shay’s cheek. Shay leaned into the touch, his eyes closing. “Of course, I accept you, Shay. And you, Kia. You are my mates and I would be the biggest fool to reject such wonderful gifts. You are both the most stunning men I have ever met and I can’t wait to get to know you both better and to share our lives together. Speaking of which, which one of you is the feline?”

“How do you know either of us are a feline?” Shay asked teasingly.

“Because I know felines get two mates. Which means lucky us, we get to lock ourselves away here in our rooms for three days a month and just pleasure each other,” Castiel replied and nipped Shay’s chin, causing him to cry out a moan.

“That would be me,” Kia answered shyly. “I am a jaguarundi, and Shay is a fennec fox. And yes, I go into heat at the full moon.”

“I must confess, I don’t know what either of those are. Would you show me?” Castiel asked.

Kia and Shay looked at one another and smiled. It was an honor that their mate wanted to know their animals. They both looked back to Castiel, then released his hands and grabbed the hems of their shirts, simultaneously pulling them off over their heads, then dropping them at their feet. A deep growl came from Castiel and they both froze. Kia could see their wolf mate’s gaze roaming over all their exposed skin, flicking back and forth between both of them.

“Shit, you both have pierced nipples. That’s so damn sexy,” Castiel growled.

“We each left a nipple for you if you wished for us to get your ring, as well. This is Shay’s ring,” Kia said, touching the gold hoop in his left nipple.

“And this is Kia’s,” Shay finished, also fingering the gold hoop in his right nipple.

“You two really do talk and move as if you were twins,” Castiel commented.

“Is that a problem?” Kia asked, worried.

“No way, I actually find it really hot,” Castiel said with a chuckle.

Kia smiled as he relaxed and saw Shay do the same. He must have been nervous, too. They continued to strip, their movements in perfect synch with each other, until they stood before their mate naked. “Fuck, you’re both gorgeous,” Castiel whispered, then looked up to the ceiling. “Thank you, goddess. I will always be your loyal servant for your generosity. You have given me the most precious gift of my life Aurora, and I will never forget that.”

“What was that?” Kia asked, confused by what Castiel was doing.

“Remember, Kia, our mate thought he gave up his mates for his family,” Shay explained. “He thought he lost us forever, but now here we stand. So, he is thanking the goddess, Fate, for sending us to him.”

  “Oh,” Kia said and smiled.

Shay nodded to him and he returned it, then Kia and Shay shifted. Within seconds, Kia was looking at Shay’s cute golden fennec fox. He looked up to Castiel and saw him staring at them with wonder.

  * * * *

Cass couldn’t believe how lucky he got with the mates Aurora blessed him with. They wer
e truly the two most stunningly beautiful men he had ever seen. Shay was so sensual in every move he made. His gorgeous waist-length jet-black hair with pink streaks was sexy as hell and so silky. And those eyes…damn. Bastian and Storm both had violet eyes, but nothing like the depth of Shay’s. They were truly a deep, rich purple that was just mesmerizing. And his tight, lithe form and smooth creamy skin was delectable.

But Cass never expected the adorable little creature that Shay shifted into. It was the complete opposite of what his mate looked like in human form. The fur of Shay’s fox was a light golden-tan with white on the tips of his paws and tail, as well as his underbelly and inside his ears. And those ears…Cass had never seen such cute ears. They stuck straight up and were very big for the size of his head, were pointed, and Cass could just make out a jet-black patch of fur on Shay’s belly. Shay was less than two feet long from tail to head and had to weigh maybe six pounds in shifted form compared to his maybe one hundred and forty while in human form. But the part that let Cass know that is was definitely his mate were those stunning eyes.

Then there was his other mate, Kia. Kia was so adorable in his human form, and Cass could tell that he was shy, even though he and Shay often spoke at the same time. Kia was only an inch or two shorter than Shay’s five foot eleven inches, but he was more firmly built. He had to weigh about ten to fifteen pounds more than Shay, and was slightly more muscular and toned. He also had beautiful, silky-smooth jet-black hair but his was cut shoulder length and jagged around his face with blue tips and a few blue streaks throughout. Then there was his amazing deep blue eyes and gorgeous olive skin.

Cass didn’t expect to see the creature that Kia shifted into either. His jaguarundi was a stunning cat, with its slender, elongated body, short legs, and small, flattened head with small rounded ears and an otter-like tail. Kia only weighed about twenty pounds in shifted form and was just slightly longer than Shay, maybe two and a half feet long, with a black and brownish coat, and those pretty blue eyes.
