Syn 2: Sex Is Syn, Love Is Pain Page 19

by J Peach

She looked at me and laughed. “Well, you’re the first?” She mumbled.

“What the fuck is that suppose too mean?” I’m the first for what? Did she not believe me?

“It means nothing, absolutely nothing. Parker, the only person I have ever lied about my age to is you. And that was because you asked. I didn’t have to lie to Martell because he knew. I told him my situation and he gave me a job at his club. A few weeks later we started talking. That’s how we started, but once I found out about Lexi I ended things with him and quit working at his club,” she began telling me.

“I started at Red’s around that time it wasn’t as live as it is now,” she continued. “So I wasn’t making that much. With me no longer messing with Martell, the extra money I had for bills, food, or whatever I may have needed was gone. So I went to Martell and I asked him if he could help me with a month’s rent. He said yeah, but I had to fuck him to get it,” she said as she shook her head, remembering. “That’s when the money for sex came in.

“Sometimes after we fuck’d, he let me keep the money, but I had to do him a favor,” I told him. “A couple of times he had me make drops for him at different clubs. Once, he asked me to take some shit in the prison for him, but I couldn’t do that no more after the first time. So it was just sex after that.” She sat down on the bed and put her head into her hands.

Now it was starting to make sense why she didn’t want to fuck with me in the beginning. It made perfect sense why she thought I was just running game on her and why she thought I was going to ask her to be a fuckin’ mule for me. I now saw why she didn’t trust niggas. I couldn’t blame her for that shit.

“Syn, you don’t have to be ashamed of what you had to do—”

She looked up at me and rolled her eyes. As she cut me off, more tears ran down her face. “I’m not ashamed, Parker, I did what I had to do. There were no other options but to do that. I tried to find a legal job, nobody was trying to hire me, so dancing was the last resort and it was fast money. So no, I’m not ashamed for that. If anybody else had the choice of stripping or being homeless, they would’ve done the exact same thing. Or they would’ve turned to selling drugs.”

She wiped her eyes before she rolled them. “I just don’t know what’s going to happen between us. Where do we go now that you know the truth?” Her light brown eyes stared into mine, looking so vulnerable, innocent, and scared. I could tell she really didn’t know what to think or do. A sigh left her mouth and she looked away from me.

Even though I was pissed that she lied to me about her age, what was done was done. We couldn’t go back and change shit. Syn’s past was just that, her past. I couldn’t judge her for what she had to do. Anybody else would have done the same thing or turned to selling drugs like she said. Then again, if it wasn’t for her past, I wouldn’t have fallen for such a strong willed woman, period.

Grabbing her chin, I turned her face toward mine. “Nothing is going to change between us. We gon’ continue to grow from here. Shorty, I love yo ass, yah hear me? It’s gon’ take more than that to make me stop fuckin’ with you. You gon’ have to damn near kill my ass for me to be done. Yah hear me?” My lips pressed against hers. I pulled back, staring in her eyes. “Do yah understand me?”

Syn’s head moved back, out of my grip. “Parker, don’t say you love me if you don’t mean it.”

“I never say shit I don’t mean, you should know that about me by now.” I took hold of her chin once again. “Angel Williams, I love yo ass.”

“For real?” Her eyes looked down before she looked back at me.

“Yeah, for real. I told you I had you. And now that I know you more, I can’t let you go,” I kissed her again and felt her smile.

“I think I love you too,” she looked embarrassed after the words left her mouth.

“You think?” I laughed at her. Only she would say some shit like that.

She started laughing. “I said that out loud.”

“You did, but I’ll take that.”

Syn leaned into me and pressed her lips to mine. “So we’re good?”

My head nodded. “We good.” I couldn’t change her past no matter how much I wanted to, but I wouldn’t have known her if it wasn’t for it.

Something wasn’t making sense tho. “Syn, if this thing between you and Martell ended, then why Lexi pop off at you?”

She let out a heavy sigh. “About four months before we started getting to know each other, I asked Martell to borrow twenty thousand dollars to pay for my college tuition. He gave it to me. Lexi saw us at our little spot and I guess they got into it and he was arrested. She said it was my fault he was in jail. I didn’t know he was locked up until I tried to pay him his money back and couldn’t get in touch with him. Mook’s the one who me he was locked up because of Lexi.” A sigh left her mouth again and she ran a hand through her hair. She looked at me then looked away.

From the way she looked at me I knew there was something she was hiding. “What is it?”

“You can’t be mad at me. I wanted to tell you, but I didn’t know how you would react,” she blurted out.

“Man, just tell me,” I was starting to regret what she might say.

“Okay,” she said after taking a deep breath and letting it out. I could tell she was nervous. “So about a month or so ago, Martell called and asked to see me. Mook drove me out to the prison to visit him. I thought it was about me having his money, but when I got there he wasn’t talking to me about his money. He was telling me he was about to get released, which he should be out by now,” Syn spoke quickly as she began to pace.

“Instead of what I thought he wanted, Martell started on some other stuff. He wanted me to bring some drugs into the prison for him because he had linked up with some guy in there.” She stopped her pacing and looked at me. “But I told him I wasn’t going to do it, tho. And that I just wanted to give him his money back and be done. But he wasn’t too concerned about that. He then started saying how he wanted me to give us another chance when he got out, but I told him that wasn’t going to happen. That was basically it. I wanted to tell you, but I didn’t know how you were going to react and I definitely didn’t know y’all knew each other.” Syn bit into her bottom lip nervously as she stared at me.

My hand ran over my head. I looked back at her. As bad as I wanted to be pissed at her for going to see that punk ass nigga and hiding it from me, I really couldn’t be after all the shit she’d just told me. Cussing her ass out wasn’t going to change anything and since she didn’t take no drugs or shit to the prison for him, I could get over it. But I was pissed that he wanted her to bring some work up there for him, I was heated about that shit.

“Syn, I ain’t mad at you, shorty. I’m pissed that nigga asked you what he did. I wish yo ass had told me sooner, tho.” If I had known sooner, I could’ve put two and two together when Mook’s ass called me. My brows furrowed as what she said hit me. “Y’all had a spot?” She nodded. “Where?”

She looked at me confused. “You want the address?”

“Yeah, and any other place you know he be.” I wasn’t gonna pull her into the bullshit with Martell, but I was most definitely gon’ find out everything she knew about him, including his spots. “What you know about Mook?”

She shrugged. “Nothing personal wise, aside from his number and where he lives. Why are you asking me all this about them? It’s not because of what I told you, right?” I contemplated whether or not to tell her the truth or lie. I thought lying would be the better option. “Parker, don’t start lying to me now. Tell me the truth. Why are you asking about them?” She stopped grabbing for her notebook and stared at me, waiting for my reply.

“Fuck it. No, it wasn’t about what you told me at first, but that shit really just added to the bullshit.”

“What Bullshit? She asked me as she looked at me curiously.

That’s when I told her the truth about what happened earlier that night with Mook. When I was done I let her know
, “Syn, I don’t want you nowhere near this shit, yah hear me?”

She nodded her head yes and wrote down all the information I’d asked her for on a piece of paper and handed it to me. “Parker, be smart about doing whatever you going to do. Don’t go out there and get yourself hurt. Because if you do, then I’mma have to get my bitches and we gon’ fuck some shit up,” her eyes and neck rolled hard.

“Yeah, I might need y’all too. You short mothafuckas will scare a whole playground of kids,” I started laughing as her mouth popped open.

“You’re a fuckin’ asshole,” she laughed. “Why would you say that? Yo ass get on my nerves.” Syn pushed me down on the bed before getting up. I grabbed her and pulled her back to me. “Stop, I gotda pee.” I let her go and she took off running towards the bathroom. “Oh, bae!” She yelled.

I grabbed her sandwich off the nightstand and took a bite. “What’s up?”

“The girls really wanna meet you—”

I already knew where she was going with the conversation and quickly tried to shut that shit down. “Hell fuckin’ no! I already told yo ass what’s up. You keep they asses away from me, I ain’t about to sit around with them crazy mothafuckas. N’all, man, fuck that.”

I heard the sink water come on. “You don’t have a choice. I already told them you will meet them. Plus, they’re throwing me a birthday party next weekend.” She walked out of the bathroom and came to me. Syn pulled her pajama shorts off and then climbed into my lap. “Unless you’re going to miss my birthday.”

“I didn’t know you had a birthday, so I ain’t really missing shit,” I picked with her.

She hit me in my chest hard. “You need to get to know them, I promise they’re sweet. Besides, I want my best friends to meet the hood I’m loving on. And they really wanna meet you, bae. I promise they’ll be good. You can even invite your boys so you won’t be alone, even though King and Blaze will be there. You going to come?” Her head came down as her hand moved down my chest. She slipped it into my pants.

“Yo ass ain’t playing fair,” I laughed at how dirty she was willing to play it. Shorty was going to make sho’ I got to know her girls by any means.

“What’s the fun in fair when you want your man to do something?” She gave my tip a slight squeeze before she stroked down my shaft.

“I’m yo man?” I licked my lips and then pressed them into hers.

“Mhm,” she hummed. “You gon’ meet them?”

I kissed her again as my hand rubbed over her booty. “You already know I am.”

“Ahhhh!” Syn let out a laugh filled scream as I flipped us over. “You ass!”

“But you love me, tho,” I pulled off her shirt and then stood up.

“I think I love you,” she smiled with a laugh.

I stared down at her body. My eyes focused on her stomach. Shid, I didn’t know if it was a baby growing in there or not, but it was bound to be if she kept fuckin’ with me. “Did anything else happen today that you wanna tell me about?”

She pushed my sweats down, then took hold of my man. Syn brought it to her pussy and ran it through her slit, moaning. Shorty was soaking wet, her pussy was gushing. She most definitely missed me. Her pussy started to suck around my tip and it took everything in me not to thrust deep inside her. “Shorty, did anything else happen while I was gone?” Even though I was ready to beat the hell out of her pussy, I wanted to see if she was going to be straight up with me about being pregnant or not.

Syn’s lips parted and she started to pant as her eyes went low. “Nothing happened that we can’t talk about over breakfast in the morning.” She pulled me down on top of her. “You’ve been gon’ for two days. I told you I missed you. And I mean really missed you.” She was right, we could talk about that shit in the morning. I was weak as hell for that girl. “Daddy, did you miss me?” Syn kissed at my bottom lip and then pushed me inside of her. She gasped loudly.

I was done. “I missed the fuck outda you,” I grunted out.

“Show me,” her lips pressed into mine as she started to grind against me.

Shorty ain’t even have to tell me twice as I threw her leg over my shoulder and started digging deep inside of her.

  Chapter 17

  Angel

I sat at the doctor’s office nervous as hell. I didn’t understand how Parker could be cool about this whole ordeal when I was literally freaking out. He didn’t seem to mind about the thought of me being pregnant, he was actually a little bit too excited for my liking. Hell, I still didn’t know if I wanted a baby or not. I was hoping the results came back negative, but a part of me felt like I was.

“Shorty, chill out. Yo ass shaking like a vibrator,” Parker laughed at me. He put his arm over my shoulder and pulled me into his side. His mouth came to my ear. “You want me to take you in the bathroom and ease yo mind real quick?” He kissed the spot behind my ear. I jerked away from Parker and glared at him. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m serious as fuck.” He grabbed my hand and put it on his hard soldier. “Yo ass trippin’, man. Damn!” He looked down at his crotch then to me. “Sit on my lap—”

I broke out laughing as he tried to pull me onto him. “No!” I laughed out a whine. He was embarrassing me. The other patients glanced our way every time I burst into a fit of laughter. They were looking at me like I was the crazy one. “Parker, stop, they gon’ put us out. Stop.” I slapped his hands from my waist.

“Fuck you then. Get the fuck away from me. Don’t be tryna ride later on tonight either,” he pushed me away from him and moved to the next seat.

“You are so childish. You really gon’ push me away from you, tho?” I moved over to him. Grabbing his arm, I put it around my waist as I turned to face him. “You get on my nerves.” I leaned into him and pressed my lips to his. “Thank you.” I was literally freaking out on the inside, so much that my body started to shake. Parker was amazing at taking my mind off the shit that stressed me out.

“You really wanna thank me?” His tongue swiped over his nice pink lips before he bit into the bottom.

“Stop,” I whispered, laughing at him. “I’m not having sex with you in this office. So stop.”

“I’ight, I’mma stop for right now. For real tho, Syn, you might as well chill out. I mean what’s done is done, ain’t no going back. Yah understand me? We might not be ready right now, but we got months to get there,” I assured her. “Angel, I got you and I need you to believe that. I’ight?” He grabbed my chin and tilted my head back. Automatically, I puckered my lips up, waiting for a kiss. “I wasn’t about to kiss yo ass. I was looking at you to make sho’ you heard me.”

My eyes rolled, I laughed at him no less. “You play too much.” I gave him a slight smile before I let out a sigh. “I hear you, though, Parker.” I placed my legs over his as I stared up at him.

As I did that my fingers began to caress from the nape of his neck to the top of his head. I didn’t know how I got so lucky with meeting him, but I was so glad that I did. I was most definitely falling in love with him and I didn’t know how to stop it or how to slow down what I was feeling.

Parker was amazing to me and I didn’t want to be in that situation with anybody other than him. “I think I love you, Parker,” I smiled up at him.

He laughed as he managed to pull me into his lap. “I think you do too.”

My lips once again puckered up for him. He shook his head and laughed. “Yo ass just determined to make me kiss you, huh?”

My head nodded at him. “Yeah, now gimme a kiss.” I pushed my lips up again.

Parker’s head started to come down.

“Angel Williams!” The RN called my name.

I pulled away from him and jumped out of his lap, forgetting all about the kiss at that moment. “It’s about time,” I mumbled to myself as I grabbed my purse.

“Damn, you gon’ play me like that?” Parker laughed at me.

“We can kiss later,” I held my hand out for him to take. “Come on, Big Daddy, let
s get this over with.” I was nervous and was not about to go back there by myself. He took my hand and followed behind me. Once we got in the back, she led us to a room where she told Parker he could wait. She took me back in the hallway, took my weight, and then continued on with the regular routine checkup.

“How often does the vomiting happen?” She asked, sitting at the computer.

“Depending on what I eat or smell, maybe twice out the day,” I told her.

“How often do you feel frail?” She continued to question.

“Whenever I get sick, I feel frail right after,” I explained. I took a deep breath and rubbed my hands against my jeans. “I need to get a pregnancy test done,” I quickly blurted out. I was so gotdamn scared about the outcome of the test.

My breathing picked up and I felt my body began to go into a panic. I tried to calm myself down, but I couldn’t. I just wanted to say forget it and pretend I wasn’t in that situation to begin with.

“Are you alright?” The RN asked me.

I nodded my head, yes, lying. “Yeah, I’m fine.”

“Would you like something to drink?” She kindly offered.

“Yeah, you can get her some water,” Parker told her as he got up and came to stand behind me. His hands grabbed my shaking legs and he kissed the top of my head. “Angel, relax. You good, i’ight?” His arm held me tight to him in a comforting manner as he kissed the side of my head once more.

My head nodded at him and I linked our fingers together. After a few minutes, my breathing slowly started to even out.

The lady returned with a small cup of water. “Here you go.” Once I was finished with the water she continued on with her questions. “When was your last menstrual cycle?”

I didn’t really know how long it had been. “I think about three maybe four months ago.”
