Kinky Sprinkles

Andre slowed down a little. Joel wanted to encourage him to pick up speed again, but Andre sounded out of breath.

Okay. Fine. Let him catch his breath.

Then Andre’s weight shifted. A second later, he wrapped an arm around Joel’s waist and kissed the side of his neck as he continued to rock his hips. The angle of his cock was totally different now, and the heat of his skin against Joel’s was insanely sexy.

Andre’s lips brushed his neck. “Like that?”

“Uh-huh.” Joel pressed back against him, searching for not just more of his cock, but more of him. He wanted to touch every inch of Andre’s strong, hot body. The blindfold didn’t even matter anymore. His eyes were closed, and probably would’ve been unable to focus anyway.

Every move he made, every touch, every change of speed—Andre seemed truly in tune to him, listening to him and responding to him. Like Joel and his pleasure were part of all of this. Like he wasn’t just a hole to fuck or a body to play with.

This was so different from most of what Joel had experienced in recent memory. He’d always loved sex, but it had been ages since he’d enjoyed it like this. He was blindfolded, trusting Andre at every turn, and it had been so, so long since sex like this had felt so, so . . . safe.

He didn’t want it to be over anytime soon, but the need for release was bordering on unbearable, so he shifted onto one arm, and with the other, pumped his cock.

“Oh fuck.” Andre groaned against Joel’s neck. “You feel so good.”

“So do you.” Joel stroked himself faster, his head spinning and his whole body tensing as his orgasm closed in on him.

Out of habit, he very nearly asked if he could come.

But then he reminded himself that he didn’t have to. Every touch and every stroke said Yes, yes, I want you to feel good, and there was no threat of punishment if he came too soon or too late. He was blindfolded, on his hands and knees, with a Dom fucking him, and he could do whatever he wanted.

And right now, he wanted to come. With Andre deep inside him and holding him close, he needed to come.

He shut his eyes tighter behind the blindfold. Held his breath. Shuddered.

As he came on his hand, he clenched around Andre, making that impressive cock feel even bigger. Andre moaned, his rhythm falling apart as he thrust so hard he nearly shoved Joel down onto his forearm. Then he forced himself all the way into Joel, shuddered once more, and relaxed.

Joel collapsed onto the bed, so spent and satisfied he thought he might melt into the mattress. Andre sank down on top of him, keeping himself up just enough that Joel could still breathe.

  “You good?” he asked.

  “So good.”

Andre laughed softly and kissed the side of his neck. He shifted onto one arm, still carefully keeping his weight off Joel.

“You might be vanilla,” he whispered, sliding off the blindfold, “but I really like your kinky sprinkles.”

Andre left the room to get rid of the condom, and Joel nearly drifted off. He wasn’t tired, per se, just blissed out, happy, and relaxed. His body felt spectacular. His brain felt like he’d had a few drinks. Not too many, not enough to leave him hungover, but enough to give him that warm, gentle buzz that would keep him grinning like a fool for hours.

When Andre returned, they cuddled up together, and they lay there for a little while, not speaking or moving.

Slowly, an all-too-familiar reality crept back into the room. Joel was awake now, a hint of tension working its way through that post-sex relaxation. He wanted to soak up the afterglow and enjoy this, but he had to admit that lying next to Andre was a mixed bag. On one hand, Joel felt fabulous. He’d just had the most deliciously sensual sex with the man he’d been fantasizing about since forever.

On the other . . . now what?

Andre turned to him. “You’re thinking about it too, aren’t you?”

  “Am I that transparent?”

“No.” Andre stroked his hair. “Just seemed like the obvious conclusion.”

Sighing, Joel pushed himself up. “Maybe we’re stupid for doing this to ourselves. Every time we hook up, it’s a lot harder to not do it the next time.”

Andre nodded. “I know. But the thing is, maybe our kinks don’t line up, but I swear you’re exactly the kind of man I’ve wanted for a relationship.”

Joel blinked. “Come again? You don’t even know me all that well.”

“Not yet. But I want to.”

Joel’s chest tightened. He wanted to know Andre too. And the magnetic pull they seemed to have on each other—that had to mean something, right? Was there some middle ground somewhere that could—

  He tensed. Maybe there was.

Andre cocked his head. “Joel? You okay?”

  “Yeah. I was just thinking.”

Andre said nothing, but didn’t look away either.

Oh hell. What did he have to lose?

Joel sat up. “Okay, this is going to sound crazy, but hear me out.”

“All right.” Andre sat up too.

“We’re sexually compatible. It’s just the kinks that don’t quite mesh.” Joel chewed his lip. “Maybe . . .”

  Andre touched his thigh. “Hmm?”

Joel hesitated, but finally pulled in a deep breath and met Andre’s eyes. “Is there anything that says we can’t just be nonmonogamous?”

Andre inclined his head, eyebrows up in a silent Go on.

Joel moistened his lips. “I mean, we can be together. We can have sex. And if you want to go to the dungeon and scene with people, then . . .” He shrugged. “I’m okay with that.”

  Andre’s eyes widened. “Really?”

“Yeah. I mean, an open relationship has never really been my relationship goal, but I’m not, like, vehemently opposed to it, especially with the way things are between us.”

“Except . . .” Andre shifted a little. “I don’t want you doing something you don’t want to. I don’t want you compromising everything for my benefit.”

“I’m not the only one compromising. Being together means I accept that you’ll be kinky with other people, and you accept that I don’t really want to be kinky. Much. Not . . .”

“Not the kind of kinky that I like?”

Joel nodded. “If you want a total power exchange, then—”

“No, I don’t,” Andre said. “I’m perfectly happy with a bedroom submissive. I mean, not in the bedroom with you if it’s not what you want, but definitely not a 24-7 thing.”

  “I know what you mean.”

Andre mulled it over for a moment. “Well, I do like you a lot. And we keep finding our way back to each other. So maybe . . . maybe if we give this thing a chance, it can turn into more, you know?”

Joel nodded. “Yeah. That’s what I’m thinking too. We can work out some ground rules, and modify them as we go if we need to. But I think if we can both bend a little, we can make it work.”

“That’s not bending too far, though? For you?”

“No. No, I don’t think it is.” He paused. “To be perfectly clear, this doesn’t mean I’m going to come around and decide I’m kinky again. That was . . . that was only to please Rob.”

“I know.” Andre kissed him softly. “I don’t want you to change. To tell you the truth, you’re the first person who’s come along and not asked me to change. That’s why I haven’t had a lot of relationships. Unless the person was an absolutely submissive masochist, sooner or later, we’d butt heads, and it would always—always—come down to me needing to compromise and pull back. And just because someone is a submissive masochist doesn’t mean we’re cut out for a relationship, you know?”

Joel held his gaze. “That’s kind of what I’m asking you to do, though, isn’t it?”

“No.” Andre shook his head. “Because you haven’t asked me to change or to give it up. You’re the one who came up with the solution. Which . . . I mean, even after the shit Rob put you through, this is something you’re willing to do?”

“Rob never cheated on me.”

“No, but there were trust issues. I’d certainly understand if you were reluctant to trust anyone after him.”

“I am.” Joel pulled in a breath. “But you know what? He ruled my life long enough. I don’t trust him any farther than I can throw him, but I . . .” He swallowed, and looked Andre in the eye. “I trust you.”

Andre smiled. “And I trust you. Especially to tell me if something isn’t working for you.”

“I can do that. I think it’ll be fine. I mean, this way, nobody has to change, and everybody wins.” Joel grinned. “And I never said I was opposed to watching scenes.”

A visible shiver ran up Andre’s spine. “You’d want to watch?”

“Maybe not every single weekend, but I could see me making a habit of it.” He trailed his fingers up the middle of Andre’s chest.

  “Hmm. That’s fair. I’m . . .” Andre gnawed his lip.

  “What’s wrong?”

“I . . . Well, it’s not that I’ve ever had any issue with being promiscuous.” Andre paused. “I just . . . I don’t want you to feel like you’re not enough for me.”

“But I’m not. We both know I’m not.”

  Andre flinched.

“It’s okay, though.” Joel laced his fingers between Andre’s. “No, it’s not something I’d ever thought about doing in a relationship, but it seems like our differences in kink are the biggest obstacle we have right now. This would solve that problem, and neither of us would have to worry about resenting each other.”

  Andre pursed his lips.

Joel went on, “I mean, I have a friend who’s asexual, and his wife loves sex. So, they have sex sometimes, but she’s allowed to hook up with other people.”

“And that doesn’t bother him?” Andre asked.

“I think it kind of did at first, but he realized she was miserable with only having sex once in a blue moon, and he’d be miserable if they were having it every night. They love each other to pieces, and they’re happy with everything else in their lives, though, so they didn’t want to split up.”

“So it’s worked out for them?”

“For a good ten years, yeah.”

“Huh.” Andre’s eyes lost focus for a few seconds. “Well, I mean, it seems like a reasonable compromise. I’d be willing to give it a shot.”

Joel’s heart sped up. “You’d . . . I mean, you really want to try it? With me?”

Andre nodded. “If you’re comfortable, hell yeah. I’ve been racking my brain ever since the first time, trying to figure out how we could do it.”

  Joel blinked. “Really?”

“Yeah.” Andre studied him, then smiled. “I don’t know what kind of bullshit he filled your head with, but you’re very attractive.”

Joel closed his eyes and released a slow breath. “Thank you.” He swallowed, then met Andre’s gaze. “I was a bit of a doormat for him.”

Andre kissed his forehead. “You’re nobody’s doormat. I sure as hell don’t want you to be mine. And, I mean, wow—you’re the first person who’s proposed a compromise that actually lets me be me. Obviously every relationship means a certain amount of compromise, but I think I had convinced myself that would always mean giving up the side of myself that took me years to explore and accept. After all, what are the odds of finding someone who’s a submissive masochist with an exhibitionist streak who’s also compatible with me outside the bedroom/dungeon?”

“Good point.” Joel squeezed his hand. “But I don’t want you to give it up.”

“I know. I’m just kind of amazed we landed on a way to make it work.”

  “Hopefully.”

“We’ll figure it out as we go.” Andre combed his fingers through Joel’s hair. “Just, you know, talk to me. If I’m spending too much time at the dungeon and not enough with you, say so.”

Joel nodded. “Ditto. If you want to spend time there . . . say so.”

“Deal.” Andre grinned. “What do you know? We did figure out a way to make it work.”

“Yeah. We did.” Joel touched Andre’s face. “I have no idea where this thing might go, but I definitely want to find out.”

“Me too.” Andre pressed a soft kiss to Joel’s lips. “Starting now.”

“Starting now.” Joel wrapped his arms around him. “Good thing I have lots of condoms, right?”

“Ooh yes.” Andre kissed under Joel’s jaw and inched down his neck. “We might have to start getting the bulk packs.”

“I am not opposed to this.”

“Neither am I.” Andre nipped his collarbone, sending a shiver through Joel, and Joel made a mental note to definitely pick up one of those bulk packs tomorrow. He had a feeling they’d be using the ones they had tonight.

No awkward silences. No uncomfortable escapes. Nothing to do except lose himself completely in the arms of the man who had started out of Joel’s league and wound up in his bed.

An open relationship of sorts was new territory for Joel, but so was being with someone who actually cared about what he wanted and what he needed. It would be bumpy. It would be challenging.

And as Andre kissed him and turned him on all over again, Joel decided he was definitely ready for the challenge.

L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn’t lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies. She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…
