Turning around, she smiled at each of them. They all aged slowly, and even she did. She’d borne ten children and yet didn’t look a day over thirty. The mating had changed her, adapting her to be with her mates for as long as possible.
“I love you all.”
One by one, they kissed and held her tightly, whispering words of love that were so sweet, they had tears filling her eyes. They’d been together twenty-five years, and she couldn’t wait for the next twenty-five years to come.
