Trick-or-Treat

Alain’s eyelids had squeezed shut behind the blindfold, but when his release hit, he opened them wide. He would almost swear he saw shooting stars through the black fabric, which would have been super-romantic, but he was pretty sure it was the haunted-house strobe lights from across the street.
That was fine too. Halloween was officially Alain’s favorite holiday. The treats were definitely worth the tricks.
A moment later, Dillon collapsed against him, panting like he’d run a mile.
Alain smiled in a way he couldn’t have predicted would be possible a few hours ago, and lifted his hands off the bedpost, bringing them down to rub his lover’s shoulders and back.
The man grunted, his breath still coming in gasps, but he said nothing about Alain’s arms. He merely lifted himself slightly, and dealt with the condom as he pulled out, then flopped back on the bed and pulled Alain’s head down on his shoulder.
“You okay?” Alain rubbed his hands in soothing motions across Dillon’s heaving chest. “Maybe you want to work on your cardio conditioning,” he suggested innocently.
The man beneath him froze. “My... what?”
“Kevin is such an amazing trainer,” Alain enthused. “He could really work wonders for you. Not to mention, he’s sexy as fuck. Not hard to look at.”
“Alain...”
“I mean, not to be rude, because I’m sure you’re handsome too, Dillon, but Kevin... fuck. He has these brown eyes that make me melt. And his arms...” He shivered pleasantly and reached a hand back to trail along the bicep curved around his neck. “Hot as hell.”
“Alain, I... You need to know...”
“And his hair... Gingers, you know? Jesus. But the sexiest thing of all...” He noticed that the chest beneath his cheek had ceased movement, like its owner was holding his breath for Alain’s pronouncement. He leaned in blindly and found the man’s jaw with his mouth. “The sexiest thing of all is this one tiny freckle he has right here.” Alain flicked his tongue over the uneven surface of Dillon’s jaw and his eyes rolled back at the salty-sweet taste.
Even better than he’d imagined.
The blindfold was up and off him in one smooth movement, and those warm brown eyes he loved - yes, loved, and he wasn’t afraid to admit it - frowned down at him.
“How long have you known?” Kevin demanded, and Alain smiled.
“I suspected pretty much from the minute you showed up, I think,” Alain said with a happy sigh. “Your voice was so familiar. But at first I couldn’t make myself believe it, and then I didn’t say anything because I figured maybe you wanted to keep it anonymous. A one-night thing. That’s not what you want though, is it?”
Kevin shook his head. “I want it to be an every-night-of-the-year thing. I want to live in this two-person-house with you. But I worried you were hung up on your ex, or...”
“Who?”
Kevin smiled and dipped his head for a kiss. But Alain bit his lip softly instead, making him pull back with one eyebrow raised. “Problem?”
“Just a little one. Like the fact that you tricked me...”
“Not really.” Kevin grinned unrepentantly. “Dillon just happens to be my middle name. Besides, remember what I told you? Halloween is the one night of the year when you can be someone else without any repercussions.”
Alain snorted as Kevin’s lips met his, but his last conscious thought before he lost himself to the sensation was that Kevin had been totally wrong about that part. In fact, he couldn’t ever remember a Halloween when he’d felt so comfortable in his own skin.
