Now, of course, she was on her knees in front of me, eagerly sucking my cock as her lieutenant delivered the report on what the gang had been up to since the last time that I had checked in with them. Her mind was one of the more difficult ones for me to break and rewrite, thanks to her strong will, but now I didn’t even need to use a bit of mind control to make her do my will. She was already stripping out of her clothes the moment I walked into the warehouse, and by the time I reached her and her girls, she was on her knees and unzipping my pants, without me saying a word. All it took was the simple method of implanting a psychological addiction to my semen in her mind, and making it so that whenever I came on, or in, her, she experienced the best orgasm of her life, and I was able to condition her to be an obedient whore. Schrodinger would be proud.

Minxy, her lieutenant, was also addicted, but I wouldn’t let her get a taste until after she had delivered her report. Which is why she stood there, naked, juices running down her thighs as she watched her boss going to town on my rod while she struggled to focus on the words on the page in front of her. “Ah, and the Klownz wanted to pass along that some of the pigs have been sniffing around, trying to find out what is going on. There hasn’t been a dust-up between the gangs in a while, and the pigs met with Zappo, since he’s sometimes given them tips on what other gangs are doing. Zappo didn’t tell them anything, but if they went to him, they definitely went to other snitches that we don’t know about.”

I frowned, and pulled the Queen off my cock, ignoring her cry of objection, and sat down on a nearby crate. That pout turned into a smile as I motioned her forward. Eagerly, she climbed into my lap, and shuddered as she took my length inside her on a single stroke. She paused only long enough to take a breath, and then began riding me like a cowboy being chased by a whole tribe of Indians, her nice, firm tits bouncing in my face. As I opened my mouth to bite down on one of those nipples, causing Espinar to moan in pleasure, I waved for Minxy to continue.

I was only half-listening to the rest of the report, though, as she described the income the various gangs had pulled in over the last week. It was impressive to see how much the gangs made, and how much money they could amass when they weren’t constantly wasting it on their little wars between themselves. I had already more than made back the ‘investment’ I had put into the gangs after my first bank robbery, when I had used cold cash to buy introductions to the various gangs, which allowed me to break them down and enslave them.

Yes, the plan was coming along quite nicely, indeed.

  Chapter 10 – Gathering

The Gang Crime Task Force within the NYPD was buzzing. Sure, everyone should have been happy that the intergang violence had dropped to pretty much nothing over the last year, and they certainly weren’t wishing for a full-on gang war, but that silence was a problem. It meant that the gangs were working together. It meant that they were planning something. The question that worried everyone was ‘What in the hell were they planning?’

Detective Barry Allen sighed, looking at the other members of the task force. “I just don’t get it. Gang members aren’t this coordinated. Someone, somewhere, should have screwed up or let something slip. Hell, the Kings and the Dragons were in the middle of a full-on gang war, and then everything just stopped! How the hell does that happen?”

Detective Jessica Jones shook her head. “I don’t get it either. But that doesn’t change the fact that no one is talking to us. The informants in the community have all gone silent. People who have been reliable sources for years suddenly clam up tighter than a—” She cut herself off as Captain Rodgers coughed to remind her of where they were. “Sorry, Captain. Anyway, the community sources are all quiet, not even acknowledging that anything has changed, which worries me even more.”

Captain Steve Rogers frowned. “That’s a problem. If someone is leaning on the civilians to the point that no one is talking, we should have at least heard something about it before it got to this point! This kind of subtlety is not normal for the gangs. We would have had someone get sent to the hospital, or, God forbid, the morgue before the whole city would clam up like that. What do the informants inside the gangs say?”

Sergeant Scott Summers sighed. “That’s just the thing, they aren’t saying anything, either, and we haven’t been able to get in touch with any of them. They all just seem to have up and vanished, and no one noticed that they were gone. You go around asking about an informant, and you get the same story, ‘Oh, I thought they left town.’ If I didn’t know better, I’d say that they were all dead.”

The Captain grunted. “And if they were all dead, at least some of them would have shown up in the morgue by now. No one is that good at getting rid of that many bodies. I’m not liking this at all, people.”

Detective Jones sighed. “You know, I was talking with Detective Fitzgerald from homicide. They’ve noticed the change in numbers, too, since they aren’t getting called out as much. He’s buddies with Adonis on the Defenders, grew up living next door to him in the neighborhood, you know? The Defenders noticed the numbers, too.”

Summers frowned. “The Defenders? What are the capes doing getting involved in lowly matters like gang crime? I thought we were beneath their notice.”

Allen grunted. “Normally, we would be. Oh, not because they think they’re all high and mighty, but because you use the right tool for the right job. Someone like that Lady Victory is a mighty big hammer to use on something that might just need a little attention from a screwdriver. But if I had to come up with one thing that could make all the gangs sit down, shut up, and play follow the leader like good kids, then some supervillain we haven’t heard about would be the prime contender. And that’s probably what Fitzgerald’s Defender buddy was thinking.”

Captain Rogers thought for a moment, and then said, “All right, let’s run with this for a moment. Nothing normal could make this many people act like this without us catching some kind of sign. Even if someone were trying to unify all the gangs, someone would have let slip about the meetings that would have had to take place. And someone would have refused to go along, and gotten taken out in the process. So, if the ‘normal’ causes don’t fit what we’re seeing, then let’s go with the abnormal ones, and see what we can string together. So, ideas, people. What could be causing this?”

Jones shrugged. “Mind control’s the obvious choice, isn’t it? There’s a lot of supers who could intimidate the gangs into toeing the line, but to do so without any word getting out? Even taking hostages all up and down the gangs wouldn’t get this cooperation so quickly or quietly. Has to be something like mind control, or bigger.”

Summers raised an eyebrow. “What’s bigger than mind control?”

Jones leaned back in her chair, and said, “Well, there’s some reality manipulators out there, and Chronos is supposed to be able to manipulate time. So he could potentially see where problems are and then just go back to ‘remove’ them without anyone knowing a problem happened. The real scary one is spirit inhabitation.”

Rogers shuddered at that thought. The last time that had happened was back when the Mayan calendar was rolling over, and someone wanted to kick off the end of the world in style. Sick bastard had used his ability to summon energy beings to possess people. Only thing was, they didn’t just possess someone, like a person with some kinds of mind control could do. They scooped out a person’s mind, their soul, like it was nothing, and took their body like a cheap suit. Nothing left for people to save. And if you killed the suit without some kind of containment, the spirit went and found a new one! It was a fucking nightmare cleaning up that mess. “Last I heard, the Demon King was still in a chemically induced coma, serving a life sentence in Blackstone. He’s the only one who has been shown to have powers like that in the last seventy years.”

Allen nodded. “So, mind control. That changes it to ‘what kind’ of mind control are we dealing with? Is it one of the ones who use chemicals or something to control their victims, or someone doing actua
l mental tricks to control all the gangs in the city? Because I don’t mind telling you that the idea of someone being able to control that many people, over that wide an area, scares me shitless, and if they weren’t being constantly controlled, SOMEONE would have said something when they came up out of it!”

They looked at Jones, who was the closest thing they had to an ‘expert’ on supers in the room. She shrugged, and said, “Don’t know. But we could go and try talking with someone who does. The Defenders have a mentalist on call, right? Or we could go ask the SCI about it. This is the kind of thing they’re supposed to cover, after all. Don’t know about you, but I’d be happy to just drop this in their laps, and make them do some honest work, for once.”

Rogers shook his head. “You know the Commissioner doesn’t want us jumping to dump stuff on the SCI or the Defenders any time it looks like supers might maybe possibly somewhere in the scheme of things be involved.” He held up his hands to stifle the task force’s outcry. “Yes, yes, I know. Politics as usual. Personally, I’d be glad to dump this on the Defenders, and let them solve it, but until we get some kind of proof that there are supers involved, I can’t do that without getting chewed out by higher.”

“So, what do we do, Captain?”

“We need more intel. And if the informants aren’t talking to us, that means we’re going to need to be a bit more proactive, and see about getting it ourselves. We need to have someone go in undercover, get something we can take to the Commissioner, and get out so we can let the people equipped for this kind of thing to do their jobs.”

No one spoke. Everyone knew that this undercover assignment would be even more dangerous than normal ones. Mind powers could defeat any cover story, if someone read their mind and found out the truth. Which was probably why their informants had all disappeared. The Captain continued. “I don’t want any suicide missions. We’re not going to just throw someone to the wolves and leave them there. So, how do we do this without sending someone to their death, or worse?”

  (Victoria POV)

Oh, God, this was so embarrassing! I can’t believe Master made me do this!

She shivered slightly, and not just from the cold, as she stood in front of the door to her master’s luxury apartment. The thought of what might happen if someone recognized her was frightening beyond belief. And yet, she could feel the slick wetness trailing down her thigh at the thought. What would her team think if they saw her now? What would her parents say?

She took a deep breath as she rang the doorbell, and tried to think about something else. She had to keep it together. Freaking out in the hallway would only draw attention. More importantly, it would disappoint Master, an she couldn’t have that.

The door opened, and she was relieved to see her Master’s face. She bowed her head, and said, “Master, this slave came as you ordered.”

Her Master’s hand reached up to trace the leather collar she wore on her neck, and said, “Yes, you are here, but did you dress as I instructed?”

She did her best not to gasp as she felt the touch of his fingers against her skin. “Y-yes, Master! I dressed as you told me, and took a cab instead of flying. As you wished, I paid cash, so that my credit card wouldn’t be on file.”

  “Show me.”

She gulped, and only hesitated a moment before she bowed her head in submission. “Yes, Master.” Her hands trembled as they went to the belt of the long coat she was wearing, helping to keep the thing closed. Her cheeks felt like they were on fire as she managed to get the belt undone, along with the buttons and snaps, and she felt her heart had almost stopped by the time she pulled open the coat, revealing what was underneath to her Master.

  “All of it, Slave.”

“Yes, Master.” She uttered a silent prayer that no one was looking through their doors at this moment, so that they wouldn’t see her in such a state. She let the coat fall to the floor, leaving her stark naked save for the high heels on her feet and the collar around her neck. Under her Master’s lustful gaze, she turned around, turning her tight backside to him, and spread her cheeks with her hands, arcing her back as she did so, in order to give him a view of the shiny jewel that rested at the end of the plug in her tight hole, the only jewelry she was allowed to wear for the time being.

“That is a good girl, Slave. Now, pick up your coat and follow me.”

She moaned as the wave of pleasure hit her. She loved being a good girl for her Master! Without a further care, she bent over at the waist, showing off her glistening slit to her Master, and picked up the coat she had discarded, before following Him into His home. What she saw had her shocked. She knew that she was not her Master’s only slave. He had used her alongside Sandy in his office, the last time she had been there. That was the first time she had been with another woman, but she was willing to do it, to please Master.

But this was more than just a single slavegirl. Seven women stood there, each one dressed (or, rather, undressed) as she was, watching her with eyes that were a mix of calculating and lustfulness. She felt like she wanted to curl up and hide behind Master to keep them from looking at her like that. But she didn’t! She wouldn’t let them do that to her. If she did, she would disappoint Master, and they she wouldn’t be his good girl! That would not be allowed.

And then her Master’s voice came from behind her. “Well done, Vicky. You have progressed far more than I had thought possible in so short a time. I would have thought that it would have taken you at least several months to reach the point where you are now. Now, you are worthy of being part of my little Harem.”

“But Master, isn’t Sandy your property, as well? Why isn’t she here?”

“Ah, Sandy, and the girls like her, are merely lovely girls I enjoy fucking, from time to time. But they are only human. You, and the rest of the slaves here, are all superhuman, and are all a part of the Harem of Mesmero.”

  Epilogue – Revelation

Vicky’s eyes went wide as what her Master had just said! She shook her head, trying to deny that she’d heard it. No! No, that couldn’t be true! Master was a good man, safe man. He was helping her, both with her problems and with the Mesmero investigation. He couldn’t be Mesmero!

Her Master smiled as he reached out, lifting her chin so that she could look into his eyes. “Oh, you wonderfully naïve pet. How many mentalists did you think there were in this city? Didn’t I tell you, that first day you came into my office, that the description of Mesmero could easily fit me, as well? I all but told you that I was him, and you gave yourself to me anyway.”

She tried to back away, but only now realized that her body wasn’t listening to her! She couldn’t move away from him! And still his voice entered her mind. “Oh, don’t worry, my pet. This is just the last layer of resistance. Soon, you won’t even have this. I have woven the commands so deeply into you that your subconscious wants this. Your body wants this. And soon, your conscious mind will want this, too.”

His right hand kept her chin up, forcing her to meet his steely gaze, but she could feel his left tracing its way down her body, running across her stomach, tracing down, past where her bush was before he had ordered her to shave it off. A fingertip rubbed gently against her clit, and she moaned despite herself, feeling her body responding to his touch, as it always had. And then the finger entered her, testing the wetness she knew he would find there.

“Every part of you will bend itself to serve me, and to do my will. This will be your highest calling, your true purpose in life. Everything you do from this point on will be in service of me, to advance my goals, and to bring about the new future that I have seen.”

She couldn’t resist his touch. She was far stronger than him, but a simple touch of his fingers to her skin was enough to paralyze her, hold her in place, eagerly begging for the pleasures he could bring. She wanted to scream, wanted to cry. Or did she? She knew that her trust had been betrayed, didn’t she? She had given her body to him, and he had taken her in every way possible. Shouldn’t she be
furious? But the emotions refused to come. There was only the pleasure of his hands, the peace of being in his presence.

He had planned this from the first moment she walked into his office, if not from the moment she had made her appointment. How? How had he planted these changes into her without anyone noticing? And how could she break free? She had to warn someone, anyone, about what Mesmero was doing!

But she couldn’t. She was Master’s slave, and Master wanted her here, naked, with his other pleasure slaves. And that is when it hit her. She wasn’t the first. She was only the latest in a long line of women who had been corrupted and broken into perfect dolls for her Master’s pleasure. And, to her mortification, the thought made her wetter still.

“Yes, I can see the conflict in your eyes, Vicky. Your old life is fading away, with every movement of my finger inside your deliciously wet snatch. But do not worry. The old you was broken, you know this. The old you could not stand against the conflict between her religious background, and the acts she had been forced to commit. The old you was weak.”
