Guys Like You

And the fire in him was too strong to resist; his large arm wrapped around my waist and his hand moved to my butt, slamming our bodies closer together. The desperation of our kisses instantly increased and my hands couldn’t resist roaming over his chest and arms.

He kept one hand in my butt and moved the other into my hair, grabbing a fistful and gently pulling my head back. I was shocked that our lips parted and wanted more, but he wanted to stare into my eyes with a sinister look on his face that I knew meant we would end up in bed shortly.

“I will love you until my death, Princess. I am yours and you are mine, always.”

I couldn’t speak—I just wanted his lips on me and him inside me. I nodded in agreement and pulled him back into a kiss. He used his hand on my butt to move my body against his, and I couldn’t contain myself. I began panting as I noticed my fingers were going numb—they were digging into his back.

In a matter of seconds, he picked me up and carried me into the bedroom. We didn’t say a word, and our lips didn’t part more than they had to in order for our clothes to leave our bodies. We lay in the bed and he moved his lips to my neck, then my collarbone, then everywhere else he wanted to kiss.

I begged for him to come inside of me, but he didn’t want to rush it. I think it was his little game, to see how desperate I became. He continued to kiss me all over, and then he finally pushed my legs apart and kissed me down there—soft, but with purpose. The fire inside of me just ignited the bomb that was about to go off.

He was ready for me. His mouth made love to me and I shook as my insides exploded, hands flying to his hair to make sure his lips didn’t leave me. The orgasms continued for so long that I was weak as I started to come back to reality.

But he wasn’t done yet. He hugged me close to his chest. “My precious Ava,” he whispered before kissing the top of my head. He held me for a minute, allowing me to regain my strength.

He kissed me softly at first, then I felt the pressure of his lips increase and I felt his hands around me clutch me tighter. When I couldn’t take anymore, he thrust himself in to me—exactly where I needed him to be.

“On the one hand, if you left me and were happy with another guy, I’d be devastated and would probably do anything in my power to get you back,” King said while we were holding each other and still in bed.

We often talk after we have sex, but we don’t usually talk about exes. “And yeah, I’d fight a guy too, if I thought it would help. So I can’t really blame him. But on the other hand, how many warnings can I give him before I realize that he doesn’t respect me at all?”

“It’s not that he doesn’t respect you, it’s that he’s made you the icon for the break-up. He blames you for it. Not me, not himself. As if I don’t have a thought in any of this and I am just a toy for the most aggressive guy to take.”

  “Aggressive?”

“Yeah, aggressive. Guys like you don’t have to try to be bullies, you just naturally are. It’s your physical size plus the way you carry yourself. Guys like you always seem to get what they want.”

“Guys like me,” he stated absentmindedly.

“Yeah. Gorgeous, intelligent, strong, wealthy...guys who have it all.”

“I think I’ll offer to fight him in a gym,” he said, completely changing the subject. King does not like to be complimented; it’s like it makes him weak or something. The guy’s absolutely beautiful and yet I don’t remember him ever looking in a mirror, except when he looked at me in the mirror.

Wait, did he just say he’s going to fight Miko?

“What?” I exclaimed pulling away from him so I could see his face.

“It’s what he wants. And if we fight at the gym, there will be rules, but no pressure to impress anyone. He can’t get too hurt, unless I knock out a few teeth or he doesn’t tap when he should. But to be honest, I wouldn’t mind ten minutes alone with him with no rules.”

  “King! You can’t do this...”

“I can, and I will. Miko asked me to fight him, babe. I’m not backing down just to save his ass—I’m not the one who’s friends with him here.”

“But you’ll hurt him, even in the gym.”

“I know. I mean, I’d like to say I’ll take it easy on him, but this guy’s pushed way too many of my buttons and he’s literally asking for it.”

I put my head back down on his chest and thought about it for a minute. Seriously, what is wrong with Miko? I wish I could convince him to keep his mouth shut and stop poking the bear. But it’s like he has a death wish or something.

I resigned myself to just staying out of it. I can’t convince Miko to stop all of this, and I can’t expect King to back down anymore either. I’m just going to stay quiet and hope a fight never actually takes place.

“I love you, baby. And I’ll support whatever you decide,” I said. I didn’t want to fight with him anymore.

“Good. Then it’s decided. I’m fighting Miko,” King said, solemnly.

I sighed. Here we go again…
