Twisted Tom

  There was a communal lounge in the annex and kitchen, the rooms had their own showers and toilets in them, and it had cost Tom a lot extra to build the staff complex, Tom had cameras in there too.

  Jack came through looking a bit rough when he ran into Tom who was rushing around everywhere, “the maids haven’t turned up yet for fecks sake” Tom growled, “there’s two girls outside on the steps smoking by the way” Jack put in, Tom looked at him and smiled, Tie please” Tom said to him and went outside, “don’t you tie me you young whippersnapper” Jack growled back at him,

  “girls I thought you’d blown me out, welcome aboard, come in I will show you where you are staying, I take it you got my message then, of course you did you’re here aren’t you, what am I saying, too many pretty ladies around I get nervous” Tom announced, “how can you ever be nervous around us Tom one of the girls said” and they both laughed, “you done well for yourself mate” the other girl added, they hugged Tom and one of the girls slapped his bum, “still got a tight arse I see” she said, “easy ladies I’m your boss now” Tom added.

  Candi and Jo knew Tom from way back when he was living on the streets of London, he got pulled into a punk Gang when he helped the girls escape from a shop once when they were caught stealing stuff, the guys weren’t too keen on Tom in the beginning because Tom was a bit feminine but the girls loved him, he always made them laugh and look after the girls while the lads were off doing their other things, Tom actually got one of the girls pregnant by accident, they were all high one night and one thing led to another and Jo fell pregnant, Tom received a good beating off the lads when they found out and ended up In hospital, he never went back to the punk Gang,

  Tom had a quiet word with Jo and she told him she had lost the baby, “memories long gone and moved on” she said, Tom saw in her eyes she hurt and said nothing, he had explained to the girls they wouldn’t have a great job, maids basically,

  They would be cleaning the rooms and they were happy with that, “maids have lots of fun and good tips I heard” Jo exclaimed and giggled, they could never hold a decent job because of their looks,

  Tattoos everywhere, hard looking and piercings, but they were good girls underneath, Tom had heard from someone else that the girls were in the area so he decided to help them out and got a message to them with some cash, Tom remembered when they took him in when he was in a bad way long time ago on the streets of London,

  Tom was awaiting his first residents and looking nauseous walking around the reception,

  “Tom they don’t get here for another hour, chill, you look like you’re going to bust a gut” Suzi exclaimed after she put the phone down, “just took another booking sir” she added,

  Tom nodded to her and went outside for a cigarette,

  “Tommie boy” someone called out!

  Tom looked and saw his chef walk up the steps, “well look at you in the suit, I like it, had a shit journey and I need a stiff one” the chap announced, he pulled Tom to him and kissed him on the cheek, “your late” Tom said, “always, but I’m here now so what do you want of me” the guy added,

  “Manuel you git, you never replied to me, I take it you got my message though otherwise you wouldn’t be here” Tom exclaimed!

  “Your message was my breakfast, thanks” Manuel added and followed Tom into the hotel,

  Tom showed him where he was to bunk and expected him on duty as soon as possible and left him to sort himself out, his uniform was on his bed, like all the others,

  Tom flew around the hotel checking this and that, Jack was following him and trying to calm him down before he had a stroke and himself too,

  Tom carried a little walkie talkie and he gave all his staff one too, a big rule he enforced, communication was most important for this hotel to run as he wanted,

  Toms radio cracked, “Suzi to Tom you have more staff in reception, Lexi and a James over” she said over the radio, “roger that, on my way” Tom replied, Tom really liked being in control and talking over the radios,

  Tom got back to reception and saw Lexi and James, “welcome my friends, welcome aboard, I’ll show you to where you are staying and let’s get to work, your uniforms are on your beds, if there not to size ill sort it out” Tom announced and shook hands with them, James was an ex-boyfriend from his hairdressing days who did security work on and off, was into martial arts and could look after himself, Lexi, she was a trainee butcher from the past when Tom worked in the butchers shop, she went on to work in the kitchen of a posh hotel, Tom dug her out and James and offered them a job, Tom was willing to pay a good wage, that’s why most of them jumped at the chance,

  Tom had that in mind and had plans for the future that he would keep to himself.

  Another guy turned up, Gregory, he was going to be the maintenance chap, Tom got him from an agency, he interviewed him a while ago when the hotel was being re-furbed, he knew what he was doing so Tom gave him the job,

  All his staff was on site and settled into their annex, Tom made a quick speech to them all in the reception area and promised them a good drink after the day was over,

  The first guest arrived.

  Suzi was on the ball with the guests and she quickly booked them in and directed them to their rooms,

  Tom took on a young lad who he found in a state out the back when the hotel was being sorted out, his name was Tommie and a bit slow, Tom sorted him out and took him in, he was now the hotels porter, his job was to mainly take guests cases to their rooms and flag down taxi’s when required,

  The day went on, the hotel was nearly full, Tom had thirty rooms, 1st and 2nd floors were basic economy rooms, they had on suite but basic, the 3rd floor was a higher standard with certain extras and the 4th floor was top notch, Jacuzzi mini kitchen and more,

  Tom had his place on the top floor roof, an added addition to the hotel that nobody knew about, the builders who had made it was paid off nicely and they had to sign paperwork for secrecy.

  As far as the staff was concerned he had an apartment on the 4th floor and that was it,

  Tom had installed the lift to go to his place with the use of a special key inside the emergency telephone box,

  There was a small flat on the 4th floor saying hotel manager on the door, this was Toms false apartment, it was furbished and liveable, Tom had some personal things in there and clothing, there was a TV and other things, it was made out as if Tom lived there, this was what he wanted.

  It was getting late in the afternoon and Tom was doing his rounds, he went into the bar to see Toni and Tina, they were busy serving customers, Tom had made a rule that the bar was only for the hotel guests and no body off the street was allowed in, Tina told Tom this could cause a lot of problems when the outside world learns about the bar, “my night security guard would also stand in as a door bouncer too” Tom exclaimed and walked off.

  It was seven thirty now and Tom told Candi and Jo their work was done for the day and could stand down till tomorrow morning, they thanked him and went off to their place, James the night security guard walked in, “hey boss everything ok” he asked?

  Tom told him to be on duty at Seven in the evening in future and took him through his duties and what he expected, Tom told him about the bar and that only residents were to use it for the time being and staff when they are off duty, Tom wanted a nice family atmosphere thinking it would be nice if the staff could relax with the guests after work or something like that,

  Suzi the day receptionist handed over to James and took him through some stuff on the PC, how to take out of hours booking on the phone and on the internet, James complained as he had never done this before,

  Suzi reassured him and he was ok.

  Suzi went to her place to get changed.

  The chefs helper: Lexi clocked off and also went to her room in the annex at the back of the hotel,

  Gregory the maintenance man and Tommie the porter had made friends and went off to, Greg was on call 24/7 if needed to sort out any problems in
the hotel or call someone who could do it if he couldn’t, that was his contract with Tom.

  Manuel the chef would stay on till ten in case of someone wanting light snacks, he would leave a load of food in the fridge for after hour foods that could be put through the microwave if they were ordered, Tina took on this responsibility and was on call too, she was ok with it as it meant a bonus from Tom.

  The bar would close at eleven pm and maybe stay open a while longer once the front doors were shut under Tom’s discretion,

  Jack went to his place, he was tired and Tom saw it, he let him go and wasn’t expecting him to come back to the bar for a drink with him and his staff as arranged,

  Tom sat at the bar and had a drink, he walked off and went outside for a cigarette,

  Toni followed him out,

  “what’s up Tom, I can see you and I see you going through something you need to share with someone who cares” she said, Tom looked at her, “I just have a few worries I am sure its natural taking on a new hotel and slightly being a bit lost as I’ve never done this before” Tom replied, “hey you, were all behind you and here to help if you need it, you’ve taken most of us off the streets, nobodies and given us a chance, I thank you for that and I’m sure the rest of the guys feel the same, we all had a chat together last night most of us and expect you to go bananas at us a few times as this is a new thing on you, we except it” she replied.

  Tom smiled and passed her a cigarette and they smoked together, James the guard came out and joined them, they chatted for a while and had a laugh.

  Toni and James went back inside, Tom stayed out and thought to himself, he sat down on the step and lit another cigarette,

  So much was going through his mind, how did he get here and deserve all this after what he had done in the past and what was coming in the future, “hey lad” he heard a voice call out, it was Jack doing his last walk round the outside of the hotel and checking the fire exits, “looks like you got a tonne of weight on you boy” Jack exclaimed,

  “Hello Jack, I’m ok, how about you bring two drinks out here and we have a chat” Jack nodded and went inside,

  Tom sat on the step and watched people pass,

  Jack came out and gave Tom a bottle.

  “here lad I think you need it, calm down boy, you’ll go before I do at this rate, there will be a lot of hiccups and you and me and all your staff will learn from it” Jack announced,

  “I see you so stressed son, I worry about you, your staff will see this too, you are young man in a grown up business, I am her to help you lad” Jack added, Tom came forward and put his arms around Jack, “oh Jack I feel like I’ve took on too much too quickly, I need your help please” Tom blurbed, “let go of me boy before rumours start spreading, let’s go back inside, go to the bar and have a nice drink, we can have a good talk ok boy” Jack told him and they put out their cigarettes and went inside,

  A few residents passed from the bar area on their way to their rooms, Tom said good night and acted professional and friendly, they went into the bar and sat on the stools, “what would you like boys” Toni asked in a husky voice, “what I would like, you wouldn’t give me and besides it might just kill me anyways” Jack exclaimed, Tom laughed, “bad boy, I won’t kill you Jack don’t worry, but I think Tina would” she replied, they all laughed,

  “Who am I going to kill then” Tina announced as she came from the kitchen carrying a plate of sandwiches for one of the guests,

  “Tell you later lass” Jack whispered as she went past and smiled, “you bad boy, you will die” she growled back and took the plate to a table,

  A few of the other staff came into the bar in their casual clothes, Tom welcomed them in and bought them all drinks, there was only a few guests left in the bar now, two lads playing pool and a middle aged lady working on her lap top, she had had quite a few drinks in the last few hours, Toni told Tom,

  The two lads playing pool finished and went to their room, Tom said good night and sweet dreams, they both turned around and smiled at Tom, they were both gay and knew Tom was one of them by his banter,

  “So who wants a game of pool then” Greg the onsite engineer announced?

  “Ok boy, what’s the wager then” Jack exclaimed?

  “Let’s let the boss decide, eh Tom” Greg announced,

  They all looked at Tom, “ok troops the winner gets a day off paid, however if I win I choose one of you to do a forfeit of my choice” Tom said and smiled, everyone nodded and agreed,

  The game began and drinks were flowing from the bar with the help of Toni, she didn’t like pool too much, she was happy to watch, serve drinks and joined in the banter,

  Most of the staff were knocked out and there was only Tom and Lexi the chef’s helper left, she was good,

  Tom let her win in the end and she loved it,

  It was late now and Tom decided to shut down for the night before his staff got too drunk and were not fit to work the next day,

  Everyone left and said goodnight.

  Lexi stayed behind and had a cigarette with Tom, they knew each other from a while ago,

  “one more game Tom, you win you give me the forfeit ok” Lexi announced, Tom agreed and set the table up, they had some more to drink and Lexi was a bit drunk and flirted with Tom,

  Tom won the game, he knew Lexi let him win, “so I owe you a forfeit then,

  What do you have planned for me then” she said giggling,

  “One night with me” Tom said to her.

  She smiled and winked at Tom, “naughty Tom” she replied and lit a cigarette, they had another drink and smoked some more, Tom gave her a joint to smoke, they shared it and giggled a lot,

  Tom put some tablets into her bottle and they chatted and giggled,

  “I feel funny Tom I think tonight could be a bad idea, my head is spinning” Lexi slurred,

  She fell forward and Tom grabbed her,

  He laid her on the setee and watched her for a god while.

  Tom went out to the main reception and saw James the night guard, “hello mate, ive cleaned up in there and turned everything off, don’t forget to do your checks mate” Tom said to him, James got up and walked to the front door, he checked it and then made his way to check all the fire exits were secure,

  Tom said good night and went back into the bar area,

  Tom turned the lights off and picked Lexi up, she was a small lady so it wasn’t too much to carry her,

  He made his way to the back stairway that lead to the basement carrying Lexi over his shoulder,

  The lift could have taken him to the basement but there was camera in there that the night guard could monitor, Tom went down the steep steps carefully,

  Tom turned on the light and put Lexi on the floor, he took out his tool from his key bunch and pulled up the false floor and the cover to the well, he looked down into the well, there was a funny smell and knew it was from the CCTV engineer he had put down there.

  Tom thought to himself and made another plan to look into what was at the bottom of the well, he knew there was running water down there and a strong draft, he picked up Lexi and bent her over the edge of the well,

  He lit a cigarette and pulled off Lexi’s skirt, she had tight stockings on underneath and that’s what turned Tom on, she had no knickers on, “bad girl uncle Tom’s going to have to teach you a lesson, you work for me you have to wear knickers, I don’t employ hookers here” he growled and ripped the tights apart at her bum,

  Tom finished his cigarette and flicked it away,

  He spat on her bum and stretched her apart with his hands, he entered her hard and she moaned, Tom did what he wanted to do and finished inside her bottom, Lexi started to cry, “why Tom please stop this” she moaned,

  Tom took out the scissors from his back pocket and turned her around, she looked at him, her mascara was running down her face with tears, “why Tom” she moaned?

  “Because I like it and I can bitch” Tom growled,

  He opened the s
cissor and thrust them into her eyes, his hand was over her mouth to cover her scream, he pulled the scissor out and stuck them in her throat, blood went everywhere, and Tom smoothed the blood over his face and played with himself till he came.

  He looked at Lexi slumped over the top of the well and he lit another cigarette and watched her bleeding.

  Tom pushed her over the edge and heard her slump and splash at the bottom, he looked down into the well and flicked his cigarette down there,

  Tom put the cover back on and the false floor and walked around thinking to himself,

  He went to the lift and used his secret key to go to his place past the fourth floor and on to the roof,

  Tom took his clothes off and threw them into the washing machine on boil wash, he went and had a shower and sat in there for quite some time thinking about what he had done to Lexi,

  he did a lot of thinking about the basement, he wanted to get an incinerator put in down there, the basement was the only part of the hotel that didn’t have the re-furb, Tom liked it looking the way it did, 70’s look authentic,

  Tom thought of a story to tell the rest of the guys the next day when Lexi didn’t turn up for work and no sign of her in her room,

  He had a few drinks and settled down for the night, Tom was watching his gay channel when he received a text massage.

  Was a message from one of the contractors who had re-built the hotel saying: Boss we feel that you have not paid enough for the secret place we built on the roof and the elevator extension to your pad, you want us to keep quiet about it but we feel you should pay us more for our silence, maybe another fifty thousand and we be silent forever, you have your reason for this secret place so I think the price is reasonable ok what do you think, the message read, Tom threw his mobile phone on the floor, “robbing double crossing scumbags” Tom growled, he lit a cigarette and went out onto his balcony to think,

  He got his mobile phone and sent a message back: ok come to hotel tomorrow night, will pay I also want you to have a look at the basement when you’re here found a problem with well and some cracks down there come after ten pm I don’t want to alert too many staff of your presence ok Tom said in his text,
